Gospel Minutes, a weekly program, with Minister Early Copeland, addresses today's concerns and struggles we all have in life. The program seeks to provide encouragement, direction, and correction while providing spiritual and realistic solutions to everyday questions.
It doesn’t matter what tries to hurt us or to destroy us, we must continue to stand. We must be reminded daily that because of the grace of God, we can still stand.
Even in our trials, God still has a plan. In Jeremiah, God tells us he knows the plans he has for us; thoughts of peace and not of evil. Even through our trials, God can use us to bless someone else. Don’t give up.
Many things in life occupy our time and attention. So much that we forget God’s place in our lives. The truth is anything can become our God. Sometimes God allows things happen so he can get our attention.
Distraction comes in all forms and from all directions, but the result is the same each time.
Distraction takes us off course, it either prevents us from experiencing something God has for us or puts us in the wrong position.
Getting back on track from being spiritually distracted isn’t difficult, but usually requires us to get intentional with our time and attention.
With each generation, the task of parenting seems to become more difficult. We live in an ever changing world that is becoming increasingly unsafe. When we become parents, our biggest responsibility and greatest challenge is to transmit our values to what the word of God says. Raising God-fearing children is hard to do in an ungodly world. Here are a few ways to point parents in the right direction.
Where is your faith in relationship to all that you are going through right now? Have you reached a point that you can't take it anymore? Jesus has given us authority and power over all issues in life.
God never promises this life would be easy, but he does promise, he is bigger than any storm we face in this world.
Regardless of whether you were thrown in, you slipped in, or you jumped in, you can get out!
If you could pick one event in your life that you would go back and do over, which would it be? We've all done things that left us in deep regret.
In life, all christians will make mistakes but we should all desire to use our mistakes for good and learn from them.
