Hello Welcome to TIC. Our vision is to be a multi-cultural church of extraordinary love, overflowing with joy and gratitude for the Gospel, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus who walk in the freedom that comes from being rooted and grounded in the love of Christ.
In a series of three parables, we learn about the power of God's word and the importance of listening to the word.
Jesus teaches that all sins will be forgiven except blaspheming the Holy Spirit and that all who do the will of God are his family.
When Mary said, "I am the Lord's Servant, be it unto me," she wasn't saying yes to an influencer platform, a book deal, a speaking tour, or an easier life. She said yes to rejection, childbirth, lack of sleep, nighttime feedings, and changing diapers. Serving Jesus was not the gateway to a great life; it was a gateway to service.
If you feel like you are not good enough for God, you are exactly the type of person Jesus came for.
Jesus wants us to know that He has authority to forgive our sins. No matter what we have done in our past, we can be forgiven.
The cleansing of the Leper shows us that Jesus has power to cleanse us when we come to him in faith.

It is our mission to give God greater and greater glory through our corporate worship and to help each person give their whole self more fully and freely as an act of joyful worship to God, in singing, serving, giving, and gratitude.

The Church We See
We see a church that is shining the light of Christ in Taipei, across Taiwan, and to the ends of the earth. We see a church that has prayer at its core and has powerful worship services where believers and unbelievers alike encounter the presence and power of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We see the Holy Spirit active in our midst as the lost are found, as broken hearts are healed, as broken families are restored, and broken bodies are healed. We see a church fully devoted to Christ full of courageous faith believing nothing is impossible with God.
We see a church where every family member is rooted and grounded in the love of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve and minister. We see a church deeply committed to loving each other, growing together and meeting together regularly in our homes and other spaces. We see a church where every member is confident and passionate in telling others about Jesus. We see a church family constantly making room at the table for new family members. We see a church that cares deeply for Taipei and for the isolated, marginalized, poor, and oppressed. We see a church that rejoices to see the kingdom of God expand through evangelism, mercy ministry, and justice.
We see a church that invests heavily in the next generation and pours passion and resources into discipling children and youth. We see a church that is committed to raising up leaders who will have great impact and influence in all spheres of society. We see a dynamic church that is overflowing with creative expression in media, music, and the arts in order to give God glory and proclaim the Gospel in new and increasingly more glorious ways. We see a church that is radically generous in helping others and sharing resources with other churches and ministries to see Gospel Renewal come to cities across this nation and the earth.

In this sermon, Ps. Peter talks about the priority in our lives, although everything is swiped away, what is left in our lives? It is Jesus's love, we have to love Jesus, love one another, and pursuit God's Kingdom, Greater Glory is not only the building we have, not only the amount of people, but also is our heart to focus on Jesus.
In this episode, Dr. Sam Storms shares about the importance of Scripture and spiritual gifts in the life of a believer. In 2008 Sam became Lead Pastor for Preaching and Vision at Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sam serves as a member of the Council of The Gospel Coalition. Sam is a past President of the Evangelical Theological Society, and currently serves on its Executive Committee. He has also served on the board of Desiring God with John Piper. He is the author of numerous books and articles. Sam also started the Convergence conference. The mission of Convergence is to instruct and encourage individual believers and local churches to eagerly embrace the functional authority of the written text of Scripture and to experience the full range of miraculous spiritual gifts, all to the glory of God in Christ. Doris Brougham is the founder of Overseas Radio and Television and has been a missionary in Taiwan for nearly 70 years. In this episode she shares about her early days as a missionary and how God grew the ministry of ORTV to what it is today. She also shares about how to get started when you have a burden on your heart and stories of God's faithfulness throughout the years. This episode will be especially encouraging to your faith.
In this sermon Pastor Peter teaches on what it means for God's kingdom to come to our church. The church is called to be a light to the world and demonstrate that love of Christ cross-culturally. Love that is unified. Love that extends to our neighbors who are different from us. Love that extends to our enemies.
Tom Chui is the founder and director of Inclusive Impact, a social enterprise that employs disabled men and women as corporate trainers in Hong Kong. In this episode, Tom shares about how he transitioned from being a private banker to running his own business. He shares about working with the ultra wealthy and how seeing their emptiness caused him to ask about meaning and purpose in his own life. As his purpose and meaning became clear in light of his faith, he decided to make a change. This episode will encourage you to think about your own purpose in life and inspire you to live with faith.
Most of us will rather stay in the comfort zone, but as a church, as a ministry, as an apostle, God has his plan for us, and he is calling us to reach out the people in this world, although we might have fear and anxiety when leaving our comfort zone, but God is always with us, and he always gives us what we need, and is always beyond our expectation !!
Steve Dixon is the state pastor of Queensland, Australia for Hillsong Church. He was a church planter in Europe and has worked extensively with churches in Asia. In this episode he shares about the importance of the Church and how we can be the light of Christ in our community and in our families.
We should always give thanks to Jesus no matter our environment is good and bad, fear and anxiety always occupy our mind in our daily lives, but just like Paul said in the New testament, we should rejoice and praise to the Lord !!
Justin Lucero is a church planter in Osaka, Japan, has some suggestions and advices with the volunteers in the church, and also the characteristics and personality that he talks about of being a leader in God's Kingdom.
What are we waiting for ? For the COVID-19 to disappear ? Have a smooth and nice environment ? Our financial will get better ? In the New Testament, Paul said we have to rejoice, even though we are in the world of anxiousness, fear, and despair, we need to build the faith coming from Jesus, and not just waiting for something.
Justin is a church planter in Osaka, Japan and in this episode he shares about his calling to be a missionary in Japan. He also shares challenges he faced during the first year of church planting and how he has stood firm in faith and kept his heart from becoming bitter.
Paul shares about how he deals with disappointment when someone doesn't get healed, how he approaches people on the street to share the Gospel, and gives encouragement for those who want to help others experience God.

Paul Rapley was healed of cancer when he was in college and as a result began to seek God to see other people receive healing. In this interview, Paul talks about going years without seeing anyone he prayed for get healed, and what brought about the breakthrough in his prayers. He also shares about his experience praying for people on the street in Switzerland.
In this sermon episode, Pastor Peter shares about four different types of soil that Jesus mentions in Mark 4, it's challenging and encouraging to remind us to have soft soil in order to let Jesus guide us, and be the master of our lives.
In this episode Pastor Daniel shares about the qualities of a volunteer leader who breathes fresh air into the church.
While serving as missionaries in Chechnya, Pastor Daniel Brolin and his wife Paulina were taken hostage by men who would later become ISIS. They were held in a windowless basement for more than five months before being released. Pastor Daniel shares how his faith in Jesus sustained him and allowed him to come out captivity stronger. He shares lessons from that experience to help us as we go through COVID-19.
Although we are in the COVID-19, we still need to be still, and focus on Jesus. Although we are in the storm right now, we have to learn to stand before Jesus, and take out all of our anxiety and fear in front of him.
In this episode, Dr. Desmond Mao shares about his experience in TIC and Singapore, although he as a busy work and life, he still insists on serving God and people, he proclaims that God will give us more when we are willing to serve.
The Lord has risen, Jesus has risen to the sky, and sit besides Father of God, he always prays for us, and be with us, Jesus knows our all difficulties, emotions, and affections. He is the savior and master of our lives.
Realities of COVID-19 Dr. Desmond Mao is an emergency room physician in Singapore. In this interview he shares about his current experience in Singapore and how his faith is helping him lead during this health crisis. Dr. Mao attended and served at TIC in 2017 and 2018.

In this Episode, Pastor Rory Shiner of Providence Church in Perth shares about what it means to be the church during COVID-19. We discuss what it means to be the Church, why we need each other and how we can actively reach out to others during this time.

How she broke free from the oppression of demons and her Kenya mission trip experience to cast out demons.
Estimated globally, there are 40.3 million in slavery today. Liz shared her experience working with International Justice Mission. And introducing "Freedom Sunday" which is to mobilize the global church to 1) See the problem of slavery, 2) Understand God's heart to end it, and 3) Join God in ending it.

We had the honor to have Derek Chen to preach on December 1st, he and his wife Chantal Chen are missionaries to Papua New Guinea. They have been part of our congregation since March of this year. They are leaving in a couple of weeks back to the mission field, and we get to hear him talk about missions before they get back to Papua New Guinea. Today's scripture was Genesis 2:18, 21-24.

The power of God comes from His presence, and the presence of God is found in the place of service.
This week’s guest is Jeff Chiu, who has just came back from his very first mission trip to Kenya with pastor Peter.
During this mission trip, Jeff experienced a number of amazing things. And he will share with you about what he saw, what he experienced, and how God used him to bring healings and blessings to numerous people in Kenya.
