What happens when what you’re building doesn’t look as impressive as what came before?
In this second and final episode of Consider your Ways, Josh Kaye & Iain Jamieson explore Haggai chapter 2 and its powerful lesson about perspective . The people rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem were discouraged because the new temple seemed small and unimpressive compared to Solomon’s magnificent one. Their disappointment threatened to drain their motivation and overshadow the progress they were making. Through the prophet Haggai, God challenges their perspective.
