Pure, fresh Water is a symbol of the Word of God. Our bodies are made largely of water. Water has the imprint of human intention, we are told by a Japanese scientist.But, do you have pure, fresh water in your home? Or do you have chemicalized water? Have you fund the statistics on how bad your water is? Once I lived near a nuclear plant, near a river where we were told not to fish or swim. So I looked up the statistics on the municipal water supply. Not great. But then, I compared those stats to the ones from the municipality, supposedly really bourgesoise, a suburb of a fairly nice Texas town. OH Dear! Really bad!Similarly, Stew Peters had a documentary about how water supplies could be poisoned. Since covid could be cured with mono-clonal-antibodies, similar to the one that cured snake venom, had we been poisoned? Well, probably not through municipal water systems at that time. But they are certainly vulnerable! There are, at this time, organized terrorists who do say they want to do complex, coordinated terror attacks against US cities. Hopefully, our security forces will wake up, since it is unlikely that our first responders will be at all prepared.Flouride, normally put in municipal water supplies has not been shown to reduce IQ. Whether it is flouride (which crazies like the John Birch Society were warning about in the early 1970s) or psychotropics, or chlorine, or other contaminants, a good filter will solve your problems. You can even get a filter that will make your water more alkaline, which should reduce the probability of being attacked by cancer. Chlorine is a known neurotoxin, used in WWII as a bomb.In any case, your house can have pure fresh water if you have a good filter. If you can not afford a filter for a house, you can get a WaterPik filter that fits onto your sink faucet for drinking water. I also expose the trickery in this particular post and how the controversy got sparked. Other want to pick our pockets or worse while distracting us by getting us to fight with each other. Find out how to avoid this.So, the incident a couple of weeks ago claimed that a student was kicked out of class for refusing to go along with sexual indoctrination. Actually what the video showed was the professor agreeing to let the student leave, after the student makes some outrageously ignorant comments. She was not kicked out. We don't have enough of the video to actually know the professor was up to. What we do hear is not adept, but without context we can not judge that she was indoctrinating the student. Maybe she was, but everyone in the story handled themselves badly.HERE IS HOW TO PROCEED IN A MORE EFFECTIVE MANNERHere is how to do better.Controversy is a must as a subject in college. It is a must because one will face societal controversies when one graduates and becomes a professional. Perhaps that is what the university president meant to say. We don't know. What we know are a very few words, again, taken out of context. Not a good look.Just like the student didn't seem to know the rules of the game of college classroom, so the politician didn't seem to know the rules of the game about college administration. The college president has no control, or shouldn't, over the teaching in the classroom. We already had ongoing controversies about academic freedom and tenure. The politician who started this might indeed know the game of political "gotcha" with regard to media. We have been in a series on how to think better. However, this is the first episode of the older series on how to tell what is true. Wow! is this ever a timely topic. More than half the country is rejoicing that we saved democracy from communists, and another large percentage of the country is lamenting that Hitler and the facists have just taken over, with a promise to end democracy. One party wants to return to the rule of law and the other is afraid of lawfare and weaponized government. It would be hilariously laughable if it were not so deadly serious.However, this ability to tell what is true is not just a widespread life skill need, but it is particularly a "LD" need. Students with learning disabilities seem to be slower at "reading between the lines" precisely because they are spending so much energy on decoding what those words in the line mean. They may be slower at gaining "social skills" precisely because they are spending so much time on academic work. Of course, it also may be true that there are brain healing, detoxing, and growing issues, which we addressed in the more recent series.In any case, this topic, how to tell what is true, is a huge need for everyone. Teacher and educators need to work with students who are having problems in school to directly teach this. It is a shame, of course, that this is not in the normal public school curricula. This is our capstone episode in our series on how to think better -- although it might not be the last. We have talked about the necessity of realizing that there is such a thing as Truth. Today, we will talk about the necessity of aligning with, pursuing the Truth, even loving the TRUTH.I have made some argument that I hope and expect that non-believers will understand. Of course, I use some words of Jesus. I don't assume that everyone who listens is already a Christian believer. I do think they will understand, if they are just patient with my explanations aimed at those who don't already know Biblical language.This is really vitally important, but overlooked in the discussion of how to think better, and how to tell what is truth. And that discussion is often overlooked for students with learning disabilities. Look, what is true and false, what is good and bad is not some esoteric subject that only graduate philosophy students can grasp. It is just that they know how important it is, and have language as well as motivation. This is an important subject to all people -- if they want to have successful, happy, good lives. So, let's not overlook it. Let's directly teach it, especially to students who maybe don't get it as quickly simply because they are immersed in the tedious aspect of academics! And surely, if children are not "getting it" then it is time to directly teach it.

There is Truth and there are also Lies - And worse: There are LiarsIn our series on How to Think Better, we had an episode that was titled "There is Truth." Well, there is also falsehood. There are also people who regularly lie. Pyschologists diagnose some people "pychopaths" and/or "sociopaths" -- people who not only lie regularly, but enjoy hurting others. It may be analyzed that these people are demon possessed. Let's consider the situation in a practical manner.We must recognize and teach children about falsehood, lies, and sociopaths.Why This Relates to the "Learning Disabled"This dynamic is very important to recognize and teach our children about. Children, reared in good environment, can be quite shocked, and often after bad experiences, if they do not know that some people lie, and some of those situations can be dangerous. Students with "learning disabilities" are particularly at risk for these bad experiences. It has been famously said that "LD students have bully targets on their back." I do not know why this is so. Is it because these students also have weaknesses at noticing social cues? Or is it that they are spending so much time on academics that they fail to develop such social skills?Three Steps for Parents/EducatorsHow do we, as parents respond? First, inform ourselves, and think better ourselves. Do not be snookered. Secondly, teach our children directly that there is such a thing as a falsehood, there are liars, and there are LIARS who intend to hurt. Thirdly, we must train our children not just in social skills but in character -- so they do not become THOSE PEOPLE.
Thinking about the recent storm devastation, we are inspired by the self-reliance, resiliency, and innovation in face of challenge. Let's apply these lessons to learning challenges.

" Pray this prayer, and then believe, according to Romans 10:10 that you ARE saved and will be saved, based on God's faithfulness to His Word. This works for now and all eternity.The rescued are called to be rescuers.
Our position is that as parents and educators, we want to overcome learning problems, rather than labeling our children as disabled -- thus intentionally failing to do our job, thus damaging children, thus increasing resentment in order to overturn "the hegemonic order."Problems need solving. Learning problems need to be solved or worked around -- or in some other way to be overcome. This is the path to a successful and happy life. This is the path that works.This is also the Biblical was to proceed. We are called to be overcomers -- by faith, and woks. The Word of God and the example of Jesus and the leadership of Holy Spirit in all ways invites us to have hope, faith, hearing of good ideas, selfless service, and long-term blessing.By contrast, there is another path. One that insists on labeling problems as either insignificant thus unaddressed -- or as "disabilities." Disabled? meaning not able! Labeling theory, long and strongly accepted in Psychology, Sociology and Education disciplines shows how people live up -- or down -- to labels. Nowhere is this more true than with children and social environment of school. Please see academic paper by Sales connecting JD and LD in the 1990s. Older, more well known work is widely known by Rosenhans, Schiff, Becker and others.Diagnosis can be used as death knells, or as I encourage, as direction to parents and educators. However, if diagnosis are used for labeling (and they inevitably are in schools) the path is turned away from solving problems. Educators do not remediate but rather accommodate -- at best. Look around. Notice, as the oldest research in teachers' behavior showed, that teacher treat anyone with LD diagnosis/label as less intelligent. Thus, they get less, rather than more, quality education. They get pulled out of class, so they miss more. They have abbreviated curricula, missing more. They get drilled over and over again at what they are weak in, thus insuring demoralization.But there is much more. If you have read James Lindsay, or Alex Newman, or Paolo Friere you might even be able to detect it in the critiq2ue of what we are doing by the conventional LD podcast. It is important in Marxist thought to always tear down whatever is considered normal. It is important to weaponize one group against another. Marx himself said in Das Kapital that he cared nothing for science, but only wanted to increase conflict, in order to improve society. Marx originally was thinking of class warfare. However, in the United States, where nearly everyone thinks of themselves as middle class, other conflicts have been intentionally excerbated. Whereas once the government school could not be bother about learning problems, and parents worked to get education for their children, since oh about 2000, public educators have been grooming students and their parents to be hostile to educators in a way to ensure the greatest conflict. Teachers are constrained by school rules; schools insist on being in complete control of any move regarding the "learning disabled." Thus, fewer problems get fixed; fewer even than when the problem was not recognized.This is in larger context, also a Marxist ploy. In our 5th generation warfare environment, in our cold WWIII, outside forces that have taken over the elite, are ensuring that our youth are not educated. Not in academics. Not in social skills. Not developed in anything -- except perhaps in being weaponized, emotionally triggered pawns.Once you see this, listen again to our detractors. You choose. Do you want to spend your time and money in resentment and conflict and status squabbles? Or would you like to have learning problems solved, and weaknesses overcoming by strength, and faith applied to find good ideas -- for success and total well-being. Two paths. You decide.

As I related, I was at a healing ministry conference and heard a presentation about EMF relating to human health. There seemed to be a great deal of interest from the crowd, so I thought I would share a little more than the presenter did, who just gave an introduction. Sunlight is actually good for us -- in proper doses -- And in modern society, often we don't get enough.You might be surprised that even colored lights can be used as therapy. Have fun.Ooops, I mentioned libraries, while forgetting how dangerous and hostile they are. How about finding parallel structures with libraries. Churches and schools should have their own libraries. Rich people might make their's open to the public. this is very important given not just the push for porn, and not just the push for discomfort blamed on the homeless crisis, but also because older, better books have been largely culled. People are accessing books online. So, this has been used as an excuse for doing away with good books. Be wary!

In our series on how to think better, this week we are going to talk about noticing and using and enforcing definitions. Because "learning disabled students" spend so much time coping with regular school work like decoding, they often miss the nuances of other things like deeper comprehension and social cues. As society has lost most of its literacy and academic ability, then it is more easily tricked. This will help: USE DEFINiTIONS.I told my college students to argue from definitions. It makes a strong argument. Like this: valuation is determined by the market. This house sold for $X this year. Therefore the value is $x. Therefore that is the tax valuation.See? Or, in a case of a student: Water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen. So, what a happens if we put hydrogen and oxygen together (in this special way)? Marsupials are characterized by carrying their young in their pouches. A kangaroo carries their babies in their pouch. So what kind of animal is a kangaroo? Or for a high school student, socialism is defined as redistribution of the wealth. These people are promoting a plan to tax the rich and pay that money to the poor. So, what kind of a plan is that? Is that capitalism or is that socialism? Not surprisingly, some people want to fudge or change definitions in mid-stream. These are mostly peaceful protestors; they protest by breaking plate glass windows, stealing merchandise, and burning buildings. Only a few people have been injured. These other protestors are protesting one nation's purported occupation by occupying the administration building at their college. They are protesting carefully targeted warfare that responded to a very large very heinous terrorist act, as genocide. So, to protest, they are calling for genocide of an entire people worldwide. To advertise that position, they are refusing entrance to class buildings to students who identify with that people group. Well know this is in the news. So, wait, what is the definition of "peaceful", "occupation," "genocide"? Do you see that this is at the heart of the discussion. First, people get triggered, and instead of being able to have a useful conversation on whatever the topic is, such as a particular foriegn conflict or what student in the USA should do about it, they go off on some emotional rant based on emotional feelings somewhat, if tangentially, related. For that, see last episode. Then, they have difficult conversations, but the definitions are not agreed to and are not stable. No one can make progress like that. Do not let other people fool you by switching definitions on you. This happens all the time in advertising. You go from wanting to be successful, offered the chance to be superior in every way because of that desire, to being a slovenly lazy ass because you don't buy the very expensive course. Self-critique of being willing to consider alternate ways of proceeding becomes s never ending struggle session where only compliance and self-hate is permitted. It goes on and one.What is a Christian Nationalist? Some one who is both patriotic and a Christian? Or some right = wing extremist who is a violent, racist, armed terrorist? Argue from definitions for a strong argument. Watch how others use and mis-use definitions.
Long awaited series started by some reminders about basic brain health that are often overlooked.Children, youth, and mature adults all need sleep, protein, and vitamins. Each has their particular challenge. I just briefly mention most of these things, and give a quick run down of some supplements. If you want more specifics on any of these topics, let me know. Another point about brain health is to stay away from toxins, which is hard to do. 3M is getting sued for polluting their products with forever chemicals. Imagine, being a company and putting brain harming chemicals in... cars, housing material, clothes, bandaids, and cosmetics. Let's not even mention food and medicines. So, detox is a fine plan. In the immediate, please do your best not to pollute yourself and your child. For instance, when I was pregnant, I would often see the plume of car exhaust, and try to be careful to turn away, to not breathe it. I was not able to shield my baby from everything, but I did my best.I meet young adults these days who seem to try, but seem to have very little thinking ability. This has been going on, worse and worse for several decades. School is bad, but so is the environment. I argued this about pollution in the 1980s and 1990s and was roundly ridiculed. Then, a doctor on the Learning Disabilities Association of Texas, said at one of their conventions that we should look into it. After that, I got less criticism, but still plenty of skepticism. Today, there are lawsuits aplenty. One day we may have a better situation. In the meantime, do your best as a parent to reduce exposure to agents that harm brains.
Breastfeeding is best. We do know this. Best for health; best for baby's brain. But what if a mother can not breastfeed for some real reason? Back in Spring 2022, remember, we had a baby formula crisis. We seem to have recurrent "crisis" around food -- let's hold that idea. Remember, you couldn't get that formula. But... did you ever want it? Have you read what is in commercial formula? Is there a better substitute? A professional lactation specialists is not permitted to tell you, but ... I found a friend.So, a great friend, wonderful mother, and inspiring woman let us know about her situation and how she makes formula. Not surprisingly, she got some information from the Weston-Price Foundation. Weston-Price Foundation https://www.westonaprice.org/#gsc.tab=0 recommends healthier food. Have you heard all the claims that commercial food is being tainted or will be tainted with dangerous mRNA or bugs? Someone asked Robert Barnes, Constitutional Lawyer extraordinaire how it is that elites would taint food, since wouldn't they kill themselves thereby. Barnes averred that elites tend not to eat commercial food. I have heard that King Charles has long invested in organic gardens on his property and that garden supplies his tables. So, Barnes' observation on that point may be correct, and this questioner's assumption might fail. At any rate, I and GSB have long held that it is best to eat food like God made it. It is our faith; and it has worked for us. If you are not at the breastfedding stage, you may wish to check into the extent to which cow or goat or sheep milk is good for your child. I think you may be surprised to find out that while necessary measures in commercial process may reduce nutrition. Thus, raw milk, if you can get it, from a trust source, might be the best option. Today we talk about Testing for Grades, Placement, Aptitude, and College Entrance. I find that many people don't understand the difference between criterion based and norm-based testing. In this way, they do not understand the scores. Also, almost no one understands how random and arbitrary grades are. Even the standardized tests (either criterion or norm-based) have been re-centered much lower. No one has much motivation to talk about this, however. Secrets revealed on how to find placement tests for purchasing homeschool curricula. Explanations given to allay concerns of homeschooling parent about their children being behind or being competitive in college entrance. Of course, it is helpful to understand how these tests work, but in general, home educated students are far ahead. And most college admissions clerks know that by now.
Once again, I interrupted my planned flow because I was seeing so many questions on Facebook in the homeschooling group. My heart goes out to well meaning mothers who are just beginning the journey, but I just couldn't answer everyone specifically. So, here goes. How should you start homeschooling after you have already started your child in a public (really, government) school? Important question. First, do your own homework. Know what you are doing so you don't get into trouble. Then make a plan. Then consult an attorney (which might be as easy as consulting the information you are given when you join Texas Homeschool Coalition or Home School Legal Defense Association.) Then, formally withdraw your student, via letter. Do not be intimidated. Don't allow yourself to be lied to. You now know the law and you now have a plan. Then, your child might need some decompression time. Do not replicate that from which you are fleeing. Then, once you launch, you will be so very happy! Homeschooling is so very much fun! It is so very much easier -- at least for children who learn differently -- what a delight!
I am seeing this question over and over again on xy. OH! This tears at my heartstrings! I try to respond as helpfully as I can. I just am not on xy very much. Clearly, these mums are trying to do their best. They don't even know the right questions. Okay, so maybe that is just the quick way of saying it. Oh, maybe.Okay, here is the deal. You start teaching your child as soon as the child is. When you start introducing academic stuff like letters is what they probably mean. The answer to that is about four, when the child is asking for it!Oh gosh, I have a whole series on how to teach reading. So very very important. I have a book review on Alex Newman's Crimes of the Educators. Even if you don't agree 100% with Mr. Newman's thesis, look, you have got to admit, he is onto a problem. Sight reading doesn't work. Never has.Most curricula are 2D paper. (This is also wrongly assumed because we are brainwashed about what school is supposed to be, but anyway...) So, it doesn't teach reading. You can't just shove paces at a kid and expect the kid to do well in reading. But between "read to you kid" and "send them to school" not much has been done on helping students read, or parent know how to teach reading.Check out my "When The Road to Reading Gets Rocky" series in the store here, and just prevent problems. YOU WANT TO KNOWI think our band of lionesses, interested in overcoming learning problems will be vitally interested in the case of Amos Miller, Amish farmer, who is being harassed, prosecuted and downright persecuted for being a good Amish farmer. After being harassed by the FDA fro decades, he prevailed. Now the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has gone beyond their legal mandate, lied to the court, seized property, dictated destruction of food that even their own tests showed was perfect. They would not let the food, some of which had already been purchased, even be sold to pigs. They even went so far as to ration food to the Miller family they that they themselves had grown.Never over 20 years has anyone complained or gotten sick from Amos Miller's food. Not one. He runs a club, and not a retail operation; so everyone knows how he farms. Indeed,that is why they buy from him. In court last week, families testified under penalty of perjury that they and their children needed this food for their health, in on at least one case, their very life. One family said that their child was autistic and after depending upon the natural Amish food, he was no longer autistic. They testified that even in the interim during the seizure of the food during the investigation and court proceedings, their life and health was at risk. They pleaded with the judge to permit their children this food. The prosecution thought he had them, when he questioned who paid for their trip. He had. Defense attorney has already drastically reduced his fee; his firm is working on donations.JUSTICE FALLEN IN THE STREETSThe Dept. of Agriculture of Pennsylvania had to lie to the court to be able to start this mess. They continue to lie.To the court. To the media. Who doesn't even check the other side, but merely publishes the lies of the government. Indeed, whent hey lie so egregiously on the stand, the Amish just couldn't process it. They are not used to lying in their society. However, the witnesses for the Dept of Ag lied so egregiously that the Prosecutor had to several times redirect.It was kind of like this: "It is not like you want to be in charge of all food that everyone everywhere eats, is it? Oh yes!"The First Amendment, guaranteeing the right to freedom of religion has been abridged. The fourth Amendment, protecting warrantless and unreasonable searches has been violated. A number of other rights in the 10 Amendment have been violated. The State Constitution of PA has been violated. Due process has been violated.The Court likes privacy (which is a violation.) The Bailiff, with guns, told even reporters that if they took notes in the courtroom, they would be imprisoned.WHY NOT JUST GET A PERMIT?Media passes on the idea that Amos Miller is just resisting getting a permit. This is a misunderstanding at best. You know how it goes: when a big bunch of lies is discredited, the most likely more reasonable sounding one is picked for a last stand. In the first place, anything that is permitted is restricted by law; this is a dimunition of freedom. Secondly under PA law, a permit for selling raw milk includes the promise that sales of other raw milk products like raw milk cheese will not be sold. Thus, such a permit would drastically reduce the Miller business. However, given that Miller is not a retail operation, then permitting is not required. Further, labeling laws do not apply.It is not clear how the case will be decided. According to Mr. Barnes, it appeared to him that the judge did care about the (only 4 he permitted) children;s health, the past behavior of the court is to side unthinkingly with government actors. Not just these children's lives and learning ability will be at risk. This case will set a precedent against food freedom, religious freedom, and the well-being of our country in general. Another rerun from back in 2009 when we were on the radio. Dr. Ensign, a chiropractor, interested in health, came to share best ideas for mothers.However, he didn't recommend using that sticky alchohol stuff. It will kill some germs, but the rest are given a nice home.Lots of the best preschools in the land make handwashing a standard routine for their little ones. Indeed, in order to keep the handwashing going, the alphabet song is encouraged, in order time the washing. Try out such ideas to make handwashing fun and regular.In introductory Biology in high school, we learned that germs don't grow on clean surfaces. That is why gyms would have towels to wipe off the equipment: so germs couldn't grow in the wet. However, now, go into any gymn, (if you can stand the soup of chemicals in the air) and check to see if the equipment is not sticky. Besides, no one is considering what chemicals they are regularly putting in their body through their skin.Fear makes you do all sorts of silly things. Instead, think.Washing hands, with soap and water, prevents a lot of diseases. Studies show that children who wash their hands,and scrub their names miss less time from school, and (maybe therefore) have better grades. So much for what sociologists and epidemiologists can measure. The point is, being healthy is a good idea for being smart. And, okay fine, the argument for reverse causation could be made. Still, the point is: wash those hands.This post seems to be timely, because Dr. Stella Immanuel has put out a new product to prepare for hemmorhagic fevers like ebola and Marburg. I saw in another social media post that someone is now claiming that ebola also came out of a lab. Look, I do not know about that claim. What I do know is that washing hands is a good idea. So is being healthy. Further, I have found great benefit (both in terms of health and budget) in herbal preparations and vitamins. Check it out for yourself. We have been learning many new things. The headlines are mesmerizing. Isn't that so? Now we have all discovered and had confirmed what we had suspected in the area where we were: the evil has taken over the industry, the sector of society. Whether it is doctors going along with killing patients rather than helping them, or military focusing on not winning a war, or teachers being willing to hurt children -- it is all the social structure that few are willing to contravene. But right to conscience based on the Judeo-Christian faith in something more than this here and now is what made our world great. And that hope continues. That God still reaches out his hand. About this time of year, most parents are buying new school clothes. In Texas this customer is so prevalent that this weekend is a "not tax" weekend. So, let's consider clothing.
I will tell you that dignified and modest is better. You might want to talk about this with your children. They might surprise you.
Think: Why is it that elite school have uniforms? Why is it that rich women are likely to go in for "investment dressing"? Or did you know that? Did you think that the stars' look was what very rich women want? Or is that the ticket that some middle class women use to try to parlay themselves into upper middle class by attracting men? Would a high earner female do the same? Do any of these people dress trashy? Ever?
Everybody wants their friends to like what they are wearing. You, your child, is that friend. You could be the leader. I should tell you about the time my mother made me wear a one-piece bathing suit. I was mortified. No one ever ever wore those then. But the boys in my high school schurch youth group commented. Said all the girls should wear those. I was shocked.
This is the 5th post in our summer campaign. I hope I have encouraged everyone to pray for their progeny - and for the children of the society.

Thanks for the bump up in numbers on the website. This is one of the ways that I know that I have plenty of the grand generation: I have a high percentage that listen via browser rather than by podcast. Unusual, but welcome.
We all go through some sacrifice for doing right. My numbers plummeted during covid, partially because I stopped casting for a while but even more probably because of the info I was curating on my website. They couldn't kick me off a platform, but they could shadow ban me. Please share, both electronically and word of mouth. It is the only way we can help more people.
As I mentioned last episode, let's talk about going to the library. Of course, going to the library on hot summer days is standard, just like going to the pool. Today, one would never ever just drop the children off. So, let's talk about how to take the children safely to the library.
Read to them, selected, classic books. Check to be sure that they are the original story and not somehow rewritten to make a different point -- or at least not one diametrically opposed to your values. Yes, it is tricky these days.
A few years ago my younger friends were quite worried about the witchcraft in books. They led me to realize it was an important issue. Beyond that, ask how adults are portrayed. Notice in the Harry Potter books, all the adults are either evil or irresponsible. Hmmm. Today, you will want to notice other language, language that subtly teaches that human judgement trumps God's law, that government is more responsible than people, and that there is nothing ever to be grateful about -- or that we should hate ourselves.
Be careful, too, of the iron law of woke projection. There are indeed racists -- about oh probably less than 1% of American society. But watch out for those who call themselves anti-racists. As you read book, teach your children to notice language. What do these words mean? How does that make you feel? Why does someone want to make you feel that way? Is the claim objectively true? Notice, this last question is normally more important that "how does that make you feel?" Especially if that is the only question, and only used as a spur to weaponize... you... for someone else's aim.
Help your child learn how to choose a good book. That means being able to tell quickly which are the better books.
Don't stop the library lessons just because a child learns to read! Keep it up. Practice argumentation with your teens. Reason, inform, even expose them to the elders' pontification. Indeed, I learned so much from my father's discussions about history etc after dinner. I was amazed by the time I was in 6th grade or so that many of my classmates didn't even know what their fathers did for a living. They were impoverished then, from having a window into the adult world.
We didn't do like the Kennedys and have recitation after dinner. Watch that movie and see how the sons had to answer questions and recite. Good training for leadership. It is a tradition for us, though, for the children to put on presentations such as sing a few Christmas carols on Christmas day or put on a play some summer day. Read Little Women and notice that putting on family plays and shows really was common in the days before television. It all starts with taking the little ones to the library.

Then, I announced a prayer campaign: pray 10 minutes a day first for your offspring and then for the neighbors and finally for the nation's children and youth. This is not a review, although some conversation is passed along. This is a reflection for the everyday mother who want sot help and protect their children.
I give you some basic ideas about safety. We will go to the library next week.
We need to make some more freedom sounds. Today, that might be accused of being political. Wait. Why does that merit an accusation? Why should such an accusation be a weapon. Maybe we need to consider that soon.
What I don't understand is why anyone would oppose this movie. Wouldn't that be sort of like outing oneself? I don't get it.

HOT SUMMER ACTIVITIES Searching for what to do this hot summer? Here is an inside activity that is hot hot hot! And very cool, too. This is a re-run from our radio day with Mr. Chris Wiesnhutter, often called "Weezy". He worked in high tech, but at that time was running the Children's Equipping Center, I believe at True Life Church in Round Rock. IT IS HIGH TIME This completes the thought we started with our Becky Fischer interview (of course she has curricula and events). It is high time to pay attention to the children's ministry. We have Sunday School curricula that is informed by leftist doctrine. We have Children's Church that is nothing but candy and games without Christian content. Then, we send our children off to schools where instead of traditional educational content, they are battered by every form of perversity.
Thank God for the exposure of the evil, if that is used to eliminate it. We must have that in a democratic republic. But we also, even more, need the banner of positive what to do. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord raises a standard. This raises the standard.
I saw a posting on Twitter, purportedly by some pastors' organization that seems to say that it is important to send children to government schools for the good of the whole. Is this appropriate evangelism? Or is this is lie, asking for sacrifice of children to Ba'al? LET THE CHILDREN COME TO ME Allow children, lead children, to hear from God. Of course, they also need a strong foundation of the Bible. Here what Weezy says: they pray the Bible and share their insights. Their eyes are fixed on Jesus.
If children have adult problems, how much more should they be equipped. Jesus, even when he was here on earth, said, "Let the children come to me."
This summer, why don't you read Scripture with your children? Memorize some verses. Sing Bible songs. Spend some time even praying -- including listening. Talk with other parents about what is happening and what should be happening in your children's department. If you go to a house church, what is happening with the children?
Why don't children have access to what the adults do in church?
Children love to meet with Jesus. Jesus is enough.
Another repeat of a classic. Becky Fischer, Kids in Ministry, was with us in the early days when we were in the radio station studio. This summer, while you are inside, why don't you get real with your children in terms of religion and spirituality.
We found that our children were being mis-educated in government schools, while we thought everything was fine. Did we also let our attention stray, thinking everything was fine in the children's department at church? Nowadays when children are not in church with their parents as they were in my generation, it is doubly important that reality and real Bible is taught there. And it may not be!
Becky Fischer has a program that could be used for retreats or for Sunday School/children's church curricula that strong informs the students of Bible content and is also very hands on/ experiential.
You also will want to implement training in character and Bible knowledge at home. It should be evident by now that 1 hour a week, even if it is not just fluff, will not be equal to the onslaught of demonic influence coming at children in school, media, libraries and everywhere else.
It is time to pray. The problems are staggering. It is time to appeal to Heaven. Just like our founders did. We knew we had no great army, no navy at all, when we withdrew from the British Empire, then the ruler of all the seas, the greatest military force on the planet, and a fully corrupt government. Yet, with firm reliance on Providence, aligned with what conscience said was right, after long patience, we acted. God helped.
God helped when the fog and night covered Washington's crossing the Delware. God helped with bullets went through Washington's clothing, but did not touch his skin. God helped when French helped. God helped when we did not fall down into the violence of the French revolution. God helped when, finally, after serious prayer on knees, and hiring of a pastor to lead and preach to the body, the founders found a way to construct a method of governing that up until now, as long as it was adhered to, secured the rights and liberty of our inhabitants.
Pray that our children know this history. Pray that our nation repents. Pray that God grants us the mercy of righteous leaders. Let us pray for our political prisoners, whom I am finding are virtually tortured. Pray for safety for children. Pray for understanding and courage for parents. Pray for educators. Pray.

People still had doctrinal differences, but everyone agreed on the 10 Commandments; everyone agreed on teaching reading, everyone agreed that children should get moral teaching and Bible knowledge along with the ABCs. And the nation was much happier! GREAT HISTORY RESOURCES Also, let me alert you to the wonderful books that David and Tim Barton are providing. They do an awesome job of relaying real historical information, based on original sources, that means a whole lot both for a foundation to understanding our nation but also in terms of the current political structure. And wow! they now have a museum. Imagine, seeing a real Geneva Bible, or holding a gun from the Barbary Wars, or seeing a letter than a president signed with his own hand. it was refreshing to see well researched history, and get it in a non-polemic way. However, if you did need to answer in one of those hot, confrontative situations, you will want to know the actual facts. The presentation was helpful in that regard. It will very much furnish a teacher with ideas to enliven the classroom. It certainly is a necessary corrective for anyone who had to endure the poverty of what history the government schools taught and the counter-productive fiction that some are now teaching. TEACHING STUDENTS HOW TO TEST WHAT THEY ARE TOLD I couldn't help but buying some books. I bought 2 primers to give to my grandsons! Ha! But now I am trying to memorize the Shorter Cathecism out of it. Most classical schools do break it down and help the grammar school children learn it. But David pointed out that it being in a question and answer format was probably purposive: teaching students to ask for definitions and for evidence, and for meanings. How refreshing. Different from merely "question authority" as being cynical and rebellious, this is more like "testing all things and holing to what is good." Sounds like a great topic of discussion or even a project, while we endure some hot weather.

Children were held to a much higher standard in the past. When people graduated from the 8th grade,they knew a lot. Then, they went to work or college. This was true in the Revolutionary War period. John Quincy Adams was given an Congressional appointment to be the interpreter for the ambassadorial mission to the court of Catherine the Great at 14 years old. Why? Because he had mastered several languages and already had experience of being the secretary to his father as an ambassador to France during the war for Independence. Look forward to what young people are doing these days to prepare to serve their community and country.
Today I announce a grandmothers' prayer campaign. Of course, anyone can join in. It is a prayer campaign for our children. So often summer was the time when young people got into trouble. Now.... well, maybe they are safer with the regular trouble than what they might get in school? So often summer vacation was the time that families looked forward to going to places like xyz. We can't even think of that place anymore. Then, more recently, looked forward to sending their children back to school. Wow! I never did. School was hell for my daughter. Summer was a time to rest and to learn.
But now, there seems to be no break from the waves of horrible news. Well, let's be a force back. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord raises a standard. That would be a standard like in the Roman army of the time. Tall flags led the men into battle. We have a spiritual battle. The grandmothers can lead in prayer. Thanks to the fathers who lead in politics and security. Thanks to the mothers who do double duty home-making, educating, and even being employed. So much for women's liberation! It was probably about 10 years ago that their high school aged children ran their very large homeschool coalition in the Woodlands convention center. Wow -- and did they ever do a professional level job. Such a great advertisement for home education: mature and capable youth.

Anyway, from the beginning Texas RECOGNIZED the right to privately education one's children. Since people started doing that -- once again-- academic rates have gone up. Social skills have gone up. You figure out that if Pinkie and the Brain wanted to enslave the world, ahem, they would hate those out of the system the most. Home education is dangerous to tyrants -- not only because it is separate and private, but even more because it creates character and the ability to think for oneself.
Oh yes, even from a cult, especially from a cult experience, there is no one who will more likely think for themselves than people who have had this experience. I was asked to say something about this. I hear that there is a wave of new moms who are just bewildered about educating their children at home. I was told, "It is not like it was 10 years ago." Okay, and surely not like 30 years ago; I get it. There is a new wave because parents are realizing that the government schools just are not doing it. But, they, unlike those few of us home schooling decades ago, have not thought about it for a long time, maybe are not as confident in their own skills as educators. I will tell you my own grandchildren's struggles and the victory we found. Sometimes a good speech therapist is the answer. Other times just an engaged adult is the answer. Eyesight, or more properly, being able to see well, is foundational for academic achievement. You may think you know that and say to me that schools always screen for vision. Well, they do screen, but those screenings do not even look for some foundational problems relating to reading. They, may, however, screen for ESP! according to Texas law! Yikes! However, pervasively, what happens next is often counterproductive.Then, even if you have your child seen by an eye doctor, Irlen syndrome is not screened. Further, in some cases, the prescriptions are not helpful at all. I read and comment on the testimony of a high school English teacher. When he used the program Alpha Phonics for only 10 minutes a day with his students, he got a dramatic reduction in discipline problems, and a dramatic rise in retention and grades. In short, he was finally teaching students to read -- students who had wanted to learn to read all of their school career. But the school, and the teachers, by policy had chosen not to teach them. Yes! You SHOULD hope for Academic Success. God wants academic success. Yes! So, go get it.I know so many of us are bedraggled, hurt, and discouraged. The bad is manifesting all around us. The unimaginable keeps erupting. But we were told this would happen. And we have been given promises.So, first, in your journey toward great shalom, hear this. Hear that God wants the best for you and your child. This is the starting point. This is hope. Grab it by faith. When you do, then you will be strengthened to find the answer. The enemy makes you look at one or two things that seem hopeless. But when you do that, you don't see the answer, the fix.So, while I work on the episodes I promised, let's have a happy episode. Yes! Academic success is available. Maybe not the way you expect... but that is good, something better is in the wings. And it is academic success. God wants your child to be able to learn. I started talking about what the foundation of good education would be, which is especially important to consider if you are homeschooling. Then, following my own discussion, I jumped to respect between the sexes. And yes, of course, you ought to teach your daughters and your sons to deal with other people's sons and daughters. But that may not be the most foundational thing of all education. LOL So what is?You know, you can't know everything. I love learning. But it is just impossible to know everything. So, what is the one thing to learn that makes it easier to know the rest? What is the one best guide on how to proceed? One could study every veiwpoint on anything, and it would take a few years to properly understand and evaluate it all. In the meantime, one might be snookered into some philosophy that sounded good, but really bought your children to disaster. So, is their a hueristic toward a good life, toward mastery of ethics/morality, toward mastery of any other subject?Good news: yes. We have a manufacturer's manual. It has been used successfully across cultures and millennia. And it is alluded to in our foundational promise: All your offspring shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be their shalom, their total well-being, peace, prosperity, nothing missing nothing broken. As mentioned in our homeschool foundations, I am touching on the topic of respect between the sexes. I know I covered this in an episode, but couldn't find it. Maybe it is in my Manners series? (Well, I will post that as a series, since it is connected.) Since I couldn't find what I did earlier, I made an entirely new episode on why there should be respect between the sexes.I also give some advice on seeking a spouse.WRONG TEACHING IN GOVERNMENT SCHOOLSMaybe respect between the sexes is not THE foundation for home education, perhaps. However, it might be a good foundation for life. And a good home education will probably result in a much better respect between the sexes than a government education. Government schools are teaching all kinds of crazy things right now having to do with sex and gender. Nothing is worse than sexually traumatizing young children with topics that are not appropriate for adults and certainly not developmentally appropriate. No communist country, no dictator country and no democratic country would permit it. But it seems to be adamantly, if often covertly, pushed today in our government schools.TRADITIONAL VIEW OF THE FAMILYIn contrast to that, the traditional family depends upon respect for what each brings, order, duty and rights. Sociologists note that every society has a method of regularizing sexual relationships in a way that children get reared in what is optimal, or considered optimal, for that particular economy. Traditionalists would say that strong people come from strong families, that build strong communities. People in the Jewish and Christian tradition would point out that the family is supposed to represent a loving and just God. Bible scholars will point out that the history of the children of Israel and the history of the early church suggests that women had far far more rights and more protection than did their counterparts in neighboring cultures.KINGDOM LIFEWAY TOWARD SUCCESS AND HAPPINESSWe've talked about the Kingdom way of self-governance, encultured by an orderly and godly family. Thus, very little external government is needed. A great deal of learning the way to proceed is obviously learned in the family. Sociology would say that the family is the primary agent of socialization. (We see that communists would have it the other way around, but those experiments have to date all failed.)In a godly home, with orderly and respectful relationships, it is likely that the lifeway of respect between the sexes will be caught. Given that most of us are striving to return to or get to a godly life, repenting of one that is less so, probably it is a good idea to directly teach respect between the sexes. We take care of each other; we do not hurt each other. Teach your children this. Once someone decides to home educate, then they nearly always want to know about curricula and how to teach reaching. Those are important questions, and I do answer them. But those are not the right questions, nor the first questions. First consider what your child needs to learn, and how they need to learn it. You can think through all that in my book, *Learn at Home For Great Shalom." (Also available in eformat, but I recommend getting the paperback.) Then you can choose your curricula.For teaching reading and math, go to the store and choose the series on that topic: "How to Teach..." Definitions have destinations!Think through these things with me. HIstory, literature, and everything conveys a training in character, and that is more foundational even that reading. It helps the child learn to learn. It keeps the child from having to be controlled. It makes a strong family and a strong nation when people can be self-governing. That starts with virtue or character... in short, self-governance.

Okay folks, the problems are bad enough that it is time -- well not to worry -- but to act. Act now. Given the problems, and given the pervasiveness of the problems, you need to be educating your children at home. Three safety issues are each grave: sexual depredation, gun violence, and cognitive restructuring substituted for learning. After briefly pointing out the problems, I tell you how to go about solving by educating at home. Don't go off, do things incorrectly or in the wrong order and get into trouble. Probably by now you know that there is some controversy because schools -- as a policy -- are teaching children what they call "inclusive sex education" at ages there no sex education would be appropriate and what would otherwise be legally defined as pornography. Not surprisingly, those enforcing this are attempting to keep it secret from parents. And then accusing parents who object as being domestic terrorists. And not surprisingly, anyone not directly involved does not about it and when told can not believe it. Same thing in public libraries.Dani Johnson, because she was plugged into the marketing industry warned us about this push in the marketplace back in 2009. No one expected this to be in schools. Multi-level sales guru, Dani Johnson, gave us a couple of interviews back in 2009. She had just written a book on how to help children prepare for successful lives. But I know that in her marketing workshops, she offered a bonus that was her crusade against porn marketed to children.She sounded the alarm that marketers, since they had maxed out the adult market, were then plotting how to get children addicted, in order to maximize the vendor's profits. Today, what she said seems prescient, even prophetic. She had great ideas and they are still valuable today.Even in the book, she mentioned how she prepared her sons to go to the mall with her, and how they would manage when they passed by Victoria Secret store. She planned with them how they would manage when they were standing at the grocery checkout and how they would handle the magazine covers they had to stand next to. Continuing our interview with Susan Maher of Regents Academy of Austin, we get a look at how she helps students perform well. She finds their brilliance. She helps them overcome their weakness. She partners with the teachers to give minimal accommodations -- and no modifications. Thus, these students, even with diagnoses, keep up with their peers at a prestigious, even perhaps exclusive school.
Mrs. Maher's students learn how to take notes, write papers, read a textbook, or study for mathematics in just a more detailed way than others. Any parent or educator will want to hear what Susan Maher, Regent Academy of Austin, has to say. STUDY SKILLS, ACCOMMODATIONS AND NOT MODIFICATIONS "Accommodation not modification" is Mrs. Maher's mantra. She means that minor changes in the school, like time or quiet are acceptable because that is like real life. Beyond that, she teaches more detailed study skills to the students so they can overcome their weaknesses. This is unlike public school where modficiations are made to a curriculum already aimed very very low. Thus, the student leaves with neither skill nor knowledge. Yes, there are students at the most prestigious schools who have learning disabilities. After all, that is what a "learning disability" is: a discrepancy between potential and performance. So, yes, genius are over-represented in the diagnosed learning disabilities. Up until recently, however, exclusive schools might not admit a student who had a learning disability. Now, however, they add staff to help those students overcome their academic weakness. YAY!
I am so thankful to have gotten an interview from Susan Maher at Regents Academy of Austin. She is on staff there, helping the students overcome their issue(s) so they can perform at their potential. She preaches ; "accomodations, not modification." Accommodations might include test taking in a quiet room or with a little extra time. Then, she gives them help in what I would call "study skills." In this way, she sets them free to achieve, on their own.
I want you to hear her, in her own voice, so you can be inspired. This busts so many myths. This will help so many students, teachers, families, and I do hope also some private school administrators.
www.RegentsAustin.org REGENTS ACADEMY OF AUSTIN Regent is a classical Christian school, now well established as one of the most prestigious schools in the Austin, Texas metro area. Both exclusive schools and many small private schools feel that they may not be able to help students with "disabilities". This is normally because they don't know how. It may be that the school is so far behind that they have confused "learning disabilites" with "mental retardation." In fact, given the definition of "learning disabilities" only brighter than average students can get that designation. Proper help need not be the sort of monstrous modifications, let alone cheating, that so many educators fear -- or is possibly, sadly, done in government schools. MODIFICATIONS VERSUS ACCOMMODATIONS Modifications mean a change in the curricular or production requirements. An exclusive school would not want to offer modifications because that cheapens their product and hence reputation. So often, though, this is exactly what a government school will do. For instance, in a 4th grade history test, only 4 questions will be given the student instead of 20. This puts the students ever farther behind.
Accomodations, include making slight changes to the environment in order to permit the student to be successful in the necessary learning. For instance, why not permit the student a quiet room rather than a crowded classroom? Why not permit time and a half for a test? What is being tested is knowledge of the material, not rapidity. The class period is set arbitrarily, not as a function or measure of learning. In the real world, a person might allot more time to read, or use paper instead of doing math in their head, and so forth. Adults manage the world for their own productivity. In the world of work, such accommodations are required by law.
What Susan Maher is not saying, but doing, is remediation. She helps her students learn how to take notes or write papers or read a book or study math. They may need a more specific method, but once they learn it, they are capable of competing. I like to push remediation: teach how to use strengths in order to overcome weaknesses. Isn't this part of the human condition?
This is not cruel blame. This is not drill and and kill. This is not "head in the sand." Instead, this is bright students enabled to shine.
Today, I am getting ready for Thanksgiving. Everyone here in the United States, especially if they are the cook for their family or friends is doing the same. So, today, I'm re-running my episode on great, basic, traditional foods that help health for body and brains.
Recently, I heard someone who seemed bright and even-handed talk about human parts that were used as food additives. Oh my God! Dear, Lord, save us! After the past 2 years, I tend to believe that this could happen. Specifically he said that HEK or human embryonic kidney was put in the most famous cookie by a company that has a name much like the evil guy in Uncle Tom's Cabin story -- even 12 years ago.
While I do not know about that, I do know that most processed food has problems. Artificial dyes created hyper-activity or attention problems in 80% of the population. I know that the most common ingredients in face soap and shampoo creates skin problems for me, and is used in industry for widely different uses. Do you want the same chemical used for stripping off ship's deck varnish for taking off your makeup?
While I do know that all kinds of nefarious ingredients are in the jab (based on Dr. Bret Spradlin's seminars posted on Rumble)... I also have had experience to realize that food the way that God made it... always has worked amazingly well for me and everyone I know. Wheat and sugar would have been rare. Today, they are ubiquitous and fundamentally changed: wheat thru hybridization and both through chemical processing. But organic vegetables have a hard time to find any critics.
So, I commend to you the basic, traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas foods. Sweet potatoes are some of the most nutritious foods around. Wash, bake, and serve with free range butter. Nothing better! (Do not, do not, use canned potatoes, the poorest around, and then glop up with the worst sugary stuff around!) Then, make some apple pies, with pie apples and fresh flour and butter. How about some greens with nut gravy? How about some salad with mandarin orange slices? How about some mixed nuts instead of my old favorite: Texas Trash. Notice where the recipe came from? The cereal companys. Read the ingredients there and forget it. Get some lightly salted nuts.
Have fun. And while you are snacking, talk to your family, play games with them, and lay off too much screens. If you do screen, share the big one from far away. Okay?

Should I homeschool? Can you recommend a good curriculum? Can you recommend a good private school? What about sports? What about calculus and physics and... I am inundated with these questions right now. So, here are my answers. Background Many people are questioning whether they should homeschool or better, privately educate their children now. We are bewildered about the results of the elections here, particularly for the school board. The government schools have plummeted in academic achievement, and have suddenly and covertly introduced pornography into the curriculum down to elementary. This seems to be true in many metro areas, although not in the smaller towns here.
I do not understand the election results. I am not a political analyst. I do think I know the spectrum of opinion, because of where I live and because I taught Sociology. But there is much about the situation I can not analyze. I do, however, know the basic answers to the questions about private education. I thought I would mention the background so those who live elsewhere understand why the questions are arising. Answers So, I answer whether I think you should privately education. Yes, it is your duty as a parent. This is the center of the Judeo-Christian mindset. Yes, I know, seldom have we been taught this, but nevertheless, it is true.
Can I recommend a good school or good curricula. There are many. However, the way to begin finding what is best for your child, is to consider what all your child needs to learn, what method he or she learns best, and only then start shopping for curricula or school. We need to teach civics, that is, how to be a good citizen/provide servant leadership in our society. Yet, children with "learning disabilities" have a hard time with higher order thinking. Often they are easily snookered. Often they are taken out of social studies. Thus, there is a special need to be especially careful with their civics training. They will be citizens. Let's help them be good ones.
However, we find that in public school, the civics training is often poor at best. So, every parent needs to take civics education into their own hands. Train noticing definitions. Train good logic. Find good resources. Take children into real life situations: take them to the polls with you, visit state legislatures and national monuments.
If possible, enroll them in programs like Patriot Academy that enable students to grasp the reality of the legislative process. Impress upon students an accurate view of how the government is organized, the philosophy upon which it is based, and how they should engage with it.
We are in a serious time. It is time to be informed and equipped so we are not all snookered .. and in the end, oppressed.

It is not what you think! That is for sure! I have heard so many silly statements.
Children get depressed and usually they are not identified. Children with learning disabilities are more often depressed than others, all things being equal. Having trouble in school, when you are bright, and being blamed for it can clearly cause depression. Possibly that could cause more trouble in school. But depression doesn't cause learning disabilities --by definition.

Listen to the episode while I explain that, and give you suggestions what to do. Rushing to the doctor for drugs is the very last thing you should do. I have talked to many students who can not do well in school because of the psychotropic drugs they are taking. Of course, my students were adults, but often they just could not figure out why they couldn't memorize or why they did so poorly at reading or taking tests. So many people I know have been harmed by being over-medicated. I explain who should be prescribing and under what circumstances. No one else should be pushing. I will explain that too.
WHY DO SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS NOT KNOW WHAT LEARNING DISABILITIES ARE?
I went to a candidate forum this week. I was appalled that not one candidate understood the definition of "learning disabilities." Several were asked and every respondent went far off track. Some evidenced that they had no idea what was asked. Others suggested that regular testing will show and remediate LDs -- which of course is nonsense. After someone has been on a school board for a few years... and still this? Lord help us!
Again, we are getting very dismaying news about another couple of young adult athletes who fell dead. And we are supposed to believe it was natural causes. A new natural or unknown cause called "Sudden Adult Death Syndrome." And yet, still, amazingly, I am also getting reports of people still urging to jab children! It is beyond belief.
But, God! God's word is immortal, incorruptible. It didn't change because the devil got worse, or people more perfectly partnered with the devil. Ha ha. God's promises are real. So, whatever the problem might be, let's open the Word of God and find Truth.
Don't look to the right or the left. Just look at the Word. Don't say something against it; just speak the Scripture. That is your prescription. That is your script.
And break off disappointment. Do not let a failure to understand, to receive or whatever, to cause another failure to receive. Just let's look at the Word.
Does it seem to you that things are finally quiet? Or are you waiting for the next shoe to drop in the election? Are you waiting for a cataclysmic return of Trump? Are you just used to a news roar?
Look, we really are in a crisis. The foundations of good, truth, health, and prosperity are being shaken. Look back and see that for generations, it has been creeping up on us. It has happened before that people strayed from God, and then they were given a choice, and then, based on that choice, there were consequences. You can read about the history of ancient Israel right there in you Bible.
Unless you think you are just SO much smarter than anyone else that was previous to you. Right. Not as strong. Don't see as well. Don't run as well. Don't read as well. And for sure, don't think as well. Sorry, fact.
So, let's start praying! Pray for our children: for salvation body soul spirit -- in all ways -- great shalom. Let's pray for those who teach that they not be deceived, that they be strong and kind. Pray for our leaders: that they repent and get on the right track or are removed. Let's pray for our law enforcement: that they enforce rather than try to be the law. Let's pray for the elections to be fair. Let's pray for the courts: that judgment once again be founded on justice. Pray for ourselves. Repentance for straying. Thanksgiving for the mercy and grace of God!

A couple of friends came in the studio to testify of miraculous healings they had experienced under my ministry. I threatened them not to talk about me! LOL But they did talk about their healings.
this is so very important, because the number one reason peolpe don't see healing is because they don't think it exists. People resign themselves to whatever the problem is. Worse, they use it for an excuse to get other things they want, so the very problem is a treasure to them.
This is abundantly true in learning disabilities at this time. Children learn to be work avoidant victim controllers rather than overcomers, successful and happy. Teacher learn to have ever lower expectations and predictably get those expectations. Teachers college which for so long denied that learning disbilities existed now train people to see them as disabilities that need to be encouraged and coddled, rather than overcome.
The whole public school system appears to be set up to ensure a dumbing down of the population. Just when it seemed that it couldn't get worse, there is a new law that gives more money to for the school for every child identified with LD. That sounds good, except the "services" were never helpful. Labeling theory explains how the label fixes and makes permanent the problem. This is trebly true when "services" means that the children will get less of the regular education, and more of the labeling behavior.

Today, hear the extremely inspiring story of Marta Silva's one woman revival in schools by reaching out to parents. With nothing more than the mandate from God, Marta went to schools in her area (northeastern US), reached out to parents, held a meeting, told them the problems, and inspired them to an active revival. It is an inspiring story! One woman caused a parent revival that addressed the problems of their children in schools.
I met Marta at Calvary Pentecostal Campground one summer on what for me what a worship retreat and reconnoiter. Marta was the bright spot, so full of energy and faith. She told me what she was doing, just as a woman and a mother -- but full of faith and Spirit. She was going to various school surroundings, door to door, asking parents to a meeting, sometimes at the school depending upon the administration, telling parents the problems, and getting revival and mobilization for reform.
Hear her story. Be patient with the sound. Then, go and do thou likewise!
Concluding our series on how to tell what is true, I felt to open up Bible wisdom about lying. God mentions it. God says not to lie, generally.... and there are bad consequences for those who do. Lying is so very well accepted in our culture, that any remonstrance is met with questions about exceptions, even from seemingly good people. So then, it becomes accepted in business, and then in church, and.... as we have seen... to an appalling extent in media and government.
Let's see what God says. This will help us sort out what is true and what is false. And the point is: Don't Lie.
Then, let's apply God's wisdom to our own lives. It really matters.

My guess is that he based this understanding on a verse from Pantanjali... but there is truth in it. Call it sowing and reaping, if you will. Your own adherence to truth will help you identify to avoid falsehood coming at you.
As well as later judgment for being on the wrong side of the flow. You see,you get caught up in the flow, the river you stand in. Then you end up where that river takes you: the mystery of iniquity going to destruction or the mystery of righteousness going to glory.

Finally, it is going around the internet that certain pine needles are a treatment for … those spi…. pointy …… proteins… which is that same thing, really, that we are not supposed to speak about. My research indicates that various pines have been used for similar applications. Apparently, Eastern White Pine has long been used for tea because it has vitamin A, C (rather a lot), and has some restorative properties (meaning it helps against feeling tired.) (NOT at all like pine trees in Texas which would give a turpentine like taste!) I found some, well identified, tried it out, and found as a tea, it seems to work well. Tastes like mild lemon/lime. DO NOT BOIL. Do not expect it to look much different than water. Use like tea. Put other things in it like lemon or mint, if desired.

KrisAnne Hall, attorney and teacher of The Constitution says there is no argument in court against the content of your strongly held conviction. Judge O'Connor has recently ruled that there is no c0V!d exception from The First Amendment. There are many more reasons to object than fetal cells alone. Further, the Judeo-Christian traditions tasks parents with responsibility for their children and does embrace science and reason -- without contradicting the mandates of faith.
Please notice that religious convictions are not mere preferences, but convictions of conscience. These convictions and the right to one's conscience is a strongly held principle in Christianity, European American culture and US Law. Remember Martin Luther saying, "Here I stand. I can do no other." Convictions like this one will die for.... or live for. Martyring others does not work in lands where convictions like this are based on ultimate, eternal reality. That is why the Judeo-Christian world has the been the free, prosperous, friendly world -- rather than the world of tyranny. Religious convictions are good for society. That is why we have the First Amendment trumping any other law and have always had religious exemptions to any other mandate.
V@## Mandates are the number one threat to children, health, safety, and society. That the Constitution, the law, and even religious exemptions have been ignored illustrates the dire tyranny of the situation. Please get involved. How to not be Fooled by the Lies We see how to not be deceived by the pattern of lies, liars, and lying spirits. We can look around us and see that we , our friends, and a good deal of our nation has been deceived, and badly so. We have a story in the Bible about a liar sent to be used in warfare. His name was Rabshakeh, and he was a captain, sent my a brutal marauding emperor Senacharib, to talk to the men of Judah, get them snookered, discouraged, and confused. Thus, he hoped to make his battle against the easier. Actually, he was pretty good at it. Rabshakeh used a pattern of accusations, lies, and false deals. it might have worked had the Judahites not believed in God; had they not known something about that God was different; had there not been a prophet on the seen and a good king. Isaiah 37( & II Chronicles 36 and 2Kings 18 & 19) Lies, Accusations, Projections, Intimidation, Misleading Deals We are going to look at prophet Isaiah's memory of the incident. he doesn't sanitize the picture that Rabshakeh paints as much as Ii Chronicles. Fear is a weapon. Confusion is a weapon. But hope for normalcy can also be a weapon. Notice that he gives misleading deals, painted with comforting words. The kingdom needed to take a step back and carefully consider. They needed to compare what they were hearing with what they knew. They needed to consult God. is This Really an Attack on the Church? In the final analysis, the attack was on God and God's character. Rabshakeh was only a captain, doing what his emperor was telling him. That emperor worshiped an idol that today we think really was a front for a demon. Anyway, God was personally confronted. Not just the religion; not just the kingdom, not just all the people, but the thing went to the depth. Rabshakeh used God's person name and said over and over that that God could not stand up to the Assyrians.
And so, God took it personally. We see in the end of the story, how God reserved the lat move for Himself. Judah won without fighting this time. Most of the time, they did have to show up. This time, they had to just not be deceived by the lying.
So, today, we focus on the pattern of lying.

Today, we start a 3 part series on the story about Rabshakeh the liar. He was sent to discourage and entrap the kingdom of Judah. Hezekiah was the King and Isaiah the prophet was alive. First we will get 3 major secrets. That's today. Next, we will see the pattern of lying that Rabshakeh used. Very instructive and pertinent. Then, the major news item was that the US federal government had officially directed the FBI to consider parents who complained at school board meetings about inappropriate curricula as.... domestic terrorists.
How many things wrong are there with this picture? First, the parents, the citizens are who the board is supposed to be working for. That is USA philosophy, democratic philosophy, and is true ... unless somehow we switched to tyranny. Second, The federal government is not supposed to be charge of education in this country. That is supposed to be conducted locally or by the state. Thirdly, this same federal administration is no longer considering foreign terrorists as enemies and has welcomed many of them to our soil, even tho those groups have not dropped their plans to overtake our government, our culture, our religion -- and is right now killing Americans and Christians vigorously in their land and also attacking militarily our allies. It makes no sense, unless.... Well, do you think mama bears are going to be okay with intimidation? tyranny? grooming their children for sexual depredation? PARENTS COMPLAINING TO SCHOOL BOARDS Really, this is the current problem in education?!?! Pornographic curricula? Hate and division inspired social studies? Grooming children for depredation? Even cover-up rape, at situation set up by the far left agenda? What?
And the usual method of fixing... parents' (taxpayers) democratically making their wishing known itself is now seen as a problem?
Someone may object that in a few small instances there were parents who were somewhat unruly. Would that in itself be an argument? Get a few unruly and for that reason disallow democracy? Force everyone to be a criminal, even with no violations? What? A great retort to this objection is to ask who was the instigator? Weren't the officials themselves the one who incited unruliness? Standard procedure obstructs and limits citizen input. Indeed, weren't the the officials the ones who started the violence? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH We are tired of lies. All, but the most gullible huddled around the liars, knew there was not one shred of evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians. We all knew that the opposite candidate grossly violated the law with her email/server. Not a few sort of had an inkling that it was she who was colluding with foreign enemies. How could people not have knows about Hunter Biden's laptop, which was not merely a sex scandal, but showed that the Biden family was paid millions, ongoingly, by the CCP. Democrat friends tell me that such knowledge would have changed their vote. How could they not have known???? Is there really that much narrow banding? I knew. I thought everyone knew. EEK! Could people really not see that the corporate media was fear mongering the covid-19? Are people really that innumerate? How is it that people can straight faced say that the mnRNA injection is safe?

What happens when you are attacked? Viciously. Unnecessarily? Good news! God takes care of His. From the lesson of King Jehosaphat -- he sought the Lord he listened to the answers - through the Word, through the prophets he did as told He showed up The Lord fought the battle by setting "ambushments." The enemy killed themselves. The kingdom of Judah was left with spoils of war. Then they had rest, peace.
Notice some of the details in the story! Why did the army have so very many people? Why did they have so very many jewels? Notice that the enemy, which offered to start war, ended fighting with itself. Notice that those who just wanted peace and quiet finally got it. There are lots of lessons here. I leave some quiet time in the reading, so you can think-- and apply it to today.
Some of the aggression we are facing is so egregious that it is hard to even believe. The slander is so ridiculous. The people of God have been altogether too sweet. But the evil always overplays its hand, we say. God in this case, "set ambushments." The Kingdom of Judah had to show up and sent their praise team ahead of their army. The enemy killed each others. Then there was 3 days of picking up jewelry etc. Wow.
Today, too, we should trust the Lord. We will have to show up. "God is in control" is normally a cop-out. Nevertheless, the prophets that I trust have said encouraging things. It is time to continue believing. However, I do rejoice at the news of this weeks, that many more people are showing up.

Great topic for back to school! Confidence for overcoming school challenges is a vital issue for the student who has some sort of learning problem. First, one must start with the right identity or self concept. Then one must say, enunciate positive confessions (both good self-talk and appropriate words in social context.) This is fundamental. Almost always, the process of diagnosis and the school situation gives the bright student the idea that he or she is stupid. From that perspective, they do not find the solutions for overcoming that they need. Faith, here, finds the grace available.
