In this month’s podcast episode, Sanford School alumna and NAU Assistant Professor Sonya Xiao talks about immigrating to America from China, teaching empathy to children, and extending kindness to others.
Sonya, who holds a PhD in Family and Human Development, also discusses her ongoing PBinJ (Prosocial Behavior in Juveniles) project with iBay Lab, which explores how children 11-14 years old learn kindness in the context of youth development.
