Professor Semir Zeki (UCL Neuroesthetics) talks to novelist Dame Antonia Byatt about the importance of literature for the study of the brain in the emerging discipline of neuroesthetics. With a particular focus on how love can be examined from both literary and neurobiological perspectives, they will explore the kind of insights each discipline can offer the other.
