I've been following Ryan's content for about a year now, and his articulate and inspiring messages from the Word of God have been truly impactful. Ryan's content saturates viewers with God's Word and exemplifies what it means to be a godly man, which is why I'm excited to have him on the show.

In this episode, we delve into Ryan's compelling story, exploring the complexities of masculinity and godliness. We'll discuss the current state of masculinity and how listeners, both men and women, can apply these insights to their lives. Ryan's ministry focuses on mental health, addressing anxiety and depression through a godly lens. His dedication to loving and caring for people shines through in his work with his coaches.

Ryan shares his journey from growing up in a highly successful family, feeling like an outlier, to finding his true calling in ministry. Despite early failures and struggles, Ryan's encounter with Jesus at a young age set him on a path of sharing the gospel with unwavering passion. He faced significant challenges, including dealing with societal prejudice and personal insecurities, but through it all, he found strength and purpose in Christ.

We also explore the radical teachings of Jesus and how society's obsession with self and validation contrasts with the biblical call to selflessness. Ryan's insights into meekness, derived from his experiences taming wild Mustangs, provide a profound metaphor for Christian discipleship and masculinity.

In this podcast episode, Nathan Mansfield shares his transformative journey through Christian counseling and therapy, particularly focusing on a technique called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Having been in therapy for about a year, he emphasizes the importance of being open about mental health struggles, highlighting how vulnerability fosters trust and self-awareness.

Nathan reflects on a near-suicidal period three years ago and discusses the common issue of men masking their problems with pride, creating false images and burdensome emotional prisons. He believes that expressing and releasing emotions is crucial to overcoming mental health challenges.

He delves into his recent experience with EMDR, a therapy that mimics REM sleep to reprocess traumatic memories. By revisiting a painful childhood memory involving his abusive stepfather, he describes how EMDR helped him reframe the experience. This session led to a profound spiritual encounter where he heard God's voice affirming his worth and responsibility to break generational trauma for the sake of his children.

Through EMDR, he experienced a powerful shift from dark, painful memories to enlightened, positive ones. This transformation has altered his belief systems, enabling him to view himself, his past, and his future differently. He emphasizes the importance of addressing mental health issues to prevent passing trauma onto the next generation and to improve relationships, business, and spiritual life.

Nathan encourages others, especially men, to seek therapy and confront their traumas rather than remain victims of their past. He attributes his healing and growth to his faith, emphasizing that living for the Lord brings conviction and transformation, unlike the fleeting pleasures of the world. He concludes by inviting listeners to engage in the discussion and support his channel.

In this deeply personal episode, Nathan opens up about his current struggles and the profound realizations he's facing. Sharing a candid reflection from his Instagram story, Nathan delves into the roots of his behaviors and motivations, tracing them back to his childhood experiences of neglect and abuse. He discusses how the relentless pursuit of success and validation, often stemming from a place of brokenness, can lead to temporary fulfillment but never true satisfaction.

Nathan explores the societal pressures that reward hard work, achievement, and outward appearances, and how these can mask our inner battles for love and acceptance. He emphasizes the importance of being honest with ourselves about our true motives and the need to reconcile our actions with our deeper, God-given purpose.

Join Nathan as he vulnerably shares his journey of self-discovery, the constant tug-of-war between seeking worldly validation and fulfilling God's purpose, and the steps he's taking to live more authentically. This episode is a powerful reminder to look within, confront our patterns, and strive for genuine, purpose-driven lives.

Are you setting yourself up for chaos or paving the way for tranquility? The answer lies in the order we create in our lives - a structured lifestyle that fosters peace. This episode unravels how consistency, discipline, and structure can transform chaos into order, and subsequently, peace. We also shed light on self-awareness, emphasizing the need to understand our tendencies and fears, key components in our life's navigation system.

The next part of our discussion pivots towards an equally compelling topic - finding purpose and meaning in life - a powerful antidote to the regret of wasted potential. We challenge the notion that a family and bills are the sole motivators in life. Instead, we highlight the importance of discovering a purpose that ignites passion and catalyzes action. As we conclude, we ponder over the choice between purpose and regret, echoing Tony Robbins' words of wisdom that "Discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons". So tune in, gear up, and embark on a journey towards a purposeful life, free of regrets.
