This is a first for the podcast... Ben and Claire recording in-person! Why? Because Claire's here for Ben's wedding to Jason. Obviously there's some discussion about the grand event which includes Claire being a groomsmaid, unexpected crying, dancing too much, and more :) Oh yeah, we also review The Idea of You, a Claire choice for once (and not at all because of Nicholas Galitzine...) with discussions over how real it is, cute moments, fashions, and more. So it takes us about 42 minutes to actually review episode 3 of The Last of Us because we go off on sooooooooooooo many tangents (love triangles, hot guys, wedding planning, age gaps, spoilers about old shows (QAF, Ugly Betty), etc.) Why this episode though? Because "take a shower, Bill" is iconic, and we love Murray (not Marty) Bartlett. It's a bit of a live episode minus all the silence when we're engulfed in the beautifulness of this episode. It's not remotely SKAM adjacent, but it's still loads of fun, we promise :)
Heads up, this is Part 1 of 2 of our review because the actual episode is a bit long and we're just tangent-filled.

We've referenced him so many times, but this week I have the pleasure of bringing on Tumblr's finest, skamenglishsubs to dissect episodes 7-9 of Druck Season 1. Yes, he's not German or even Norwegian, but this Swede is a treasure trove of SKAM knowledge and trivia. Hanna's drama really ramps up in these episodes as she tries to figure out her identity, but luckily, there's some resolution on the horizon. We're back and missed you all. Happy 2021, everyone! This is one rollercoaster of an episode, Alt Er Lovers. There's the iconic opening montage with soft boi cuteness, gushing over yellow curtains and parallel universes. It's basically what we and Evak have all wanted. But then it all goes downhill from there... We're disappointed in our smol bean for his comments on gay people, but are super glad King Eskild is there to school him in the most mature and composed way. Isak has a lot to learn with this hell week he's neck-deep in! There's such nuances in the way Even speaks, so major props to Henrik Holm. We go off on our trademark tangents, but they're related to the depiction of gay males in the media, our personal lives, and more in this week's episode review of season 3, episode 5!
Also, Ben did get a new fancy mic, however he's an idiot and used it the WRONG WAY. So despite raving about it, the irony is that his audio sounds off at parts. It shall be fixed next week :p

Can you believe it, we've finally reached the finale of season 1?! There's so much to talk about from dealing with Vilde's bomb from the last episode, that Noorhelm moment we're not big fans of (come at us), the beautiful Yooonas/Eva breakup scene, and that last smol bean reveal.
