A new foreman who has just started at US Steel where Arthur has been employed for over 20 years decides to test Arthur by telling him to cover for an employee who called off sick and the foreman wants Arthur to run the Conveyor. When Arthur declines the foreman becomes irate and becomes disrespectful to Arthur all hell breaks loose.

A new foreman who has just started at the steel mill plant where Arthurs is employed employed decides to test Arthur by telling him to cover for an employee who called off sick and the foreman and the new foreman wants Arthur to run the conveyor machine that nearly cost him his life several years ago when a malfunction occurred during Arthur operating the machine.
When Arthur declines The foreman becomes irate and disrespectful to Arthur and then all hell breaks loose.

This play is a story of triumph and a lesson intended to guide our community into an empowered way of thinking. Its intent is to demonstrate the importance of taking charge of our own children’s education, as is vital to the survival of us as a people. It is the only thing that can reverse the self-hating mindset which keeps us turned against one another, rather than allowing ourselves to work together for collective benefit. We hope that the audience will clearly see and understand, not only how and where the mistakes were made, but how we can move forward in the future.
