1 Corinthians 10:31 - Many churches have stalled because they have forgotten their purpose - to glorify God inside the church and in the community - to be doers of the Word and not just hearers.
2 Corinthians 1:8-10 Jesus is more than enough to meet our needs in the trials and circumstances of life.
Romans 16:25-27 The gospel message must be preached to all because it is the power of God unto salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

Romans 12:1 As believers, we are to daily surrender ourselves totally to God as He is our Lord and Master.
Romans 11:1-10 God has His people - there always has been a remnant,there is now, and will always be because of His grace, even in the most hostile countries.
Romans 8:28-39 - Believers ought to serve God out of gratitude because He loves and forgives us - He is for us and not against us.
Romans 10:16-21 Many hear the gospel but don't truly "hear" it - that is they do not listen to the gospel message leading to true saving faith. Faith is an action word-trusting in Jesus for salvation.

Romans 10:5-10 Salvation comes not by our own effort, but when we place our faith in the Lord and by His Grace we are given the gift of salvation.
Romans 10:1-4 Paul’s desire is to see Israel saved. He wants them to know that righteousness does not come through self effort, but only through the Grace of God.
Romans 9:6-29 Some were saying because not all Israel was saved, God had failed. Paul proclaims that God has His chosen ones from Jews and Gentiles. God is Sovereign in salvation.
Romans 9:1-5 Like Jesus, believers ought to be burdened and sorrowful for the lost, leading to prayer and sharing the gospel with them.
Romans 8:35-39 God’s love holds us fast and no one or nothing can separate believers from His love.
Romans 8:33-34 The answer is that while many may accuse those in Christ, God does not! The issue is settled with God.
Romans 8:30-32 For those in Christ Jesus the Scripture says that God is for us. This message examines just exactly what that means.
Romans 8:28-30 We have a great promise, that while bad things are not good, God works all of these things for our good. He is the author of salvation, He calls us, draws us and saves us.

Romans 6:1-4 We should strive too sin less because the text tells us we are dead to sin in that we do not practice sin as a lifestyle any longer.
After Paul had already dealt the Gentiles lost state, he then turns to the Jews who had placed their faith in their status.
Romans 1:18-32- When man refuses to listen to God and will not acknowledge Him and continues to run toward sin, God gives them up!
Romans 1:16-17- Salvation is the greatest need of the hour and God is the God of Salvation.
Romans 1:8-15 As Christians we are to spread the Gospel of Christ and rejoice when others do so as well.
Mark 14:1-9- A Woman comes and annoints Jesus with a very costly ointment. Some do not understand, but Jesus understands it as a preparation for His coming death.
Judges 3:7-31, Israel had a cycle of spiritual ups and downs. In this text we examine the first of the Judges in Israel.
Mark 13:14-37 Jesus tells of the future when He will return. We must be prepared for that coming!
Judges 1:1-2. 2:1-4. 16 This message deals with cycle of Israels relationship with God. They go from obedience and blessing to rebellion and judgement.
Mark 12:13-27 Once again the religious leaders are trying to trap Jesus. Jesus' answers to their questions amaze them and make them even more decided that something had to be done about this man.
Mark 12:1-12 Jesus tells a parable that makes it clear that the religous leaders have rejected Messiah just as Israel had rejected the prophets.
The final message in the series of 1 John. This message deals with assurance in Christ Jesus and how to deal with sin.
Mark 11:20-25 Jesus is preparing His disciples for the coming week. Once again He is explaining what is to come and tells them to "Have faith in God".
This passage deals with the basis of our prayer life that if we pray in accordance with His will our petitions will be answered. We also have the responsibility to pray for our brothers and sisters in the faith.
Mark 11:11-21 Jesus curses the fig tree and cleanses the Temple. These two events seem unrelated at first glance, but they both give a picture of the coming destruction of the Temple and judgement upon Israel.
1 John 5:6-12 This messages addresses the testimony of the water, spirit and the blood.
Numbers 15:37-41 A brief communion message that urges us as we come to the Lord's Supper to remember.
Mark 11:1-11 On the last week of Jesus' ministry He enters Jerusalem. Gone are the days of laying low, this entrance is the event that triggers the resolve to have Jesus killed.
John helps us define love as sefless and sacrificial. He explains how this love comes from God, flows through Jesus on the cross to us and then it must flow through us as beleivers to others.
The Disciples of Jesus were arguing about who was the greatest. Jesus used the opportunity to teach them what true greatness looks like for the follower of Christ.
Jesus questions his disciples about who people say that He is. He then asks them directly who do they say that He is. Peter proclaims that Jesus is the Christ!
Job 12:23-25 Job's understanding of God is that He is sovereign and over all things. Not matter that he may not understand why Job continues to place his trust in the Lord. Though you slay me my hope is still in you.
2 Samuel 23:8-39 David's fame went out and he was recognized as a great leader and King. David was not alone, he was surronded by mighty men who were willing to give even their lives to serve him as their leader. We need mighty men in the church today. We need men to stand up for God and be the husbands, fathers and sons that they need to be.
Job 2:11-13, 4;1-8, 8:1-6 & Chapter 11 Jobs friends all share with Job why they believe he has suffered all of his pain and calamity. They believe he is the cause and his sin has finally found him out! But what does God say about Job?
John writes concerning the spirit of antichrist as manifested in the lives of some who started out looking like believers but ended up as anitchrists.
This second installment continues with the reality of suffering in our lives even as believers and then takes up the issue of God's Sovereignty over all, including suffering.
John gives practical information as to how a Christian is to live in this present world.
This message looks at suffering in the book of Job and how it relates to our lives as believers. No easy answers or bumper sticker Christianity here!
Mark 7:1-23 Jesus deals with the Pharisees and Scribes to teach them that their traditions had bred legalism and hypocrisy.
Jesus explained what the miracle of feeding the multitudes really meant. He told them "I am the bread of Life"
The Shepherds were chosen to receive the announcement of the birth of Jesus the Messiah. They rejoiced and then went to see this child that was in Bethleham.
Joseph played an important role in the Christmas story. He trusted the Lord and was faithful to the task.
This session deals with the importance of evangelism and missions from the local churches perpspective. These are not optional, but commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ and confirmed by the Bible.
This session deals with eschatalogical issues for the church. There are some basic scriptural events that will take place that we as Baptists can agree.
Luke 1:26-45 The Angel of the Lord appears to Mary and gives her the news that she will bear son and he will be Jesus. This message looks at who was Mary and what significance should we as Christians place on her life.
Luke 1:5-25 - Zechariah and Elizabeth were childless. God heard their prayers and an angel told them they would have a son and they would name him John. This child would grow to pave the way for Messiah.
Mark 6:14-29 - Herod makes a foolish promise to Herodias' daughter, Salome, and ends up murdering John.
Mark 6:7-13 - Jesus sends out his disciples by twos and gives them a commission and the authority to preach, heal and cast out demons.
This study deals with the Lord's Day and issues such as Sabbath Observance and the practice of the early church concerning these issues.
Mark 6:1-6 - Jesus returns to Nazareth where He grew up. The people were scandalized at the teachings and works of Jesus. Jesus marveled at their unbelief and limited his work and left.
