This podcast is focused on the farming organization North American Sustainable Farms and the new projects and campaigns that it is focusing on this year.
Community funded agriculture and indoor farming are two things that are a requirement for the future of sustainable agriculture. Why is that you may ask?
This is because more and more food is being needed in higher and higher densely populated areas and yet more spaces within these population dense cities are being converted to larger and larger food deserts.
Food deserts are places that are void of most main stream supermarkets which actually provide real food products such as produce, meat, milk, and other whole food items. With our I.C.F.C.s we plan on creating a dent in the development of food deserts as well as building a central hub for community development and education.
From mushrooms to latest in agri-careers, the goal of this show is to promote sustainable agricultural practices for a better future.
