Football on the Farm is a podcast created for the avid Husker Football Fan that wants to hear the honest truth about the Cornhuskers in the form of an opinion of 3 college students and frequent guests of Starr Street that want the best for their listeners
And we're back! Football is back on the farm. Just like Jordan Belfort, we're not freakin leaving. We open the season with Ohio State. We wanted Bama, but the Buckeyes will do. Can the Huskers put a season together better than George Bush can make a presidential speech? Maybe. Can Scott Frost handle anymore criticism? Probably. Do the Husker hype videos look amazing? Hell yeah they do. Go Skers. That is all.
The grand finale to a less than average season. Getting this one posted late, but hey, we did it. Who would've thought we'd make it this far? Not me. See ya next season folks, if we ever do it again, because some of the greatest media accomplishments didn't need a sequel.
We lost to Wisconsin. Again. ScoFro got a contract extension, and the team started to resemble the tenacity of last year. We break down the games this week and rank the teams of the B1G after this crazy week of events.
Bye week = Happy week. Our record didn't get any worse this week and we couldn't be more ecstatic. Wisconsin at home this week, will we win? Probably not. Will we think that we have a chance of winning come Saturday morning while we're shotgunning a beer after waking up at 8 am, in order to drink enough to not remember the game? Hell. Yes. Go Skers.
Husker nation is hurting, but here on Football on the Farm, we're still bleeding red. We talk about the Purdue loss, the current state of the program and we discuss some other successful coaches that started off pretty $hitty. Go Skers.
Scott Frost is unhappy with the press. We're unhappy about the loss. To Indiana. At home. We talk football this week on the pod, and get off topic frequently, but let us know what you think, because just ok isn't good enough.
Nebraska had a bye. Wisconsin lost to Illinois, laugh out loud. We talk football. You listen.
Minnesota beat Nebraska. We're not happy either. Short episode this week due to byes, so we preview some other genius ideas for our listeners to get excited about. Also, we play in Ireland, so that's pretty neat.
We won. That's all that matters. But not to these podcasters. Northwestern put up a fight, but that's why you always make sure you have a walk on kicker to go 2/3 and save the day. One win closer to bowl eligibility, so sit back grab a beer and listen to this week's episode of your favorite farm based podcast.

We also talk about what we have going for us as we enter the week preparing for one of the worst offenses in the nation, Northwestern.
