91 Days; Countless Nights is a the story behind the devastation. recovery, and rebirth of Monmouth and Ocean County New Jersey from Hurricane Sandy. This podcast will act as a narrative to accompany the photographs that Kevin R. Burkitt took during a three year period from 2012 through 2015. Listen to Kevin as he tells his unique story of how, why, and where he documented the destruction from the storm for over three years.

On July 6, 2017 Kevin was interviewed by Melissa Ziobro, Specialist Professor of Public History and Anthropology at Monmouth University about his project 91 Days; Countless Nights for a crowd sourced project at the Monmouth County Historical Association.
This interview was subsequently installed in the Monmouth County archives and was used for a large gallery display titled "Tracking Sandy: Monmouth County Remembers" The group exhibition includes oral histories presented on listening devices, interactive activities, artifacts, internet and print resources, and preparedness education.
Four of Kevin's images along with his oral history are installed as part of a larger group show at the Monmouth County Historical Association and will run through 2018.
