Thabang has worked at his company for three years. Lately, several of his colleagues have been asking him how much he earns. At first, he politely avoided the question, saying he wasn't comfortable discussing his salary. However, they kept bringing it up, insisting that employees should be open about their pay to make sure everyone is being treated fairly. Thabang believes everyone has the right to privacy, but he also understands that discussing salaries can reveal unfair pay gaps. He now feels caught between protecting his personal information and giving in to the pressure from his colleagues.
Sandile has been in a committed relationship with his partner for five years. A few months ago, he discovered that his partner had been unfaithful. After admitting to the affair, his partner ended all contact with the other person, took full responsibility, and has been doing everything possible to rebuild Sandile's trust. Some of Sandile's friends believe that everyone deserves a second chance if they show genuine remorse and are willing to change. Others believe that once trust is broken, the relationship can never truly be the same and that staying only delays the inevitable. Sandile still loves his partner. He doesn't know if choosing to stay is a sign of strength and forgiveness, or if walking away is the healthier choice.

She took to social media regarding the severe financial strain and funding shortages facing national athletes in South Africa. Her statement sparked widespread public outcry over the disparity in sports funding ahead of the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup in Belgium and the Netherlands. Unarine Rambani, known as Una Rams, is a genre-fluid producer and singer-songwriter from Limpopo, South Africa. Una Rams was announced as Apple Music's 'Up Next South Africa artist in 2021, a local version of their global emerging artist platform. Una Rams has a number of exceptional accomplishments under his belt, including collaborating with renowned international DJ Black Coffee on the song 'Flava', which was later reclaimed for Black Coffee's sixth studio album, Subconsciously, holding a Grammy. Una Rams has made his mark on the South African music community as a pop sensation, featuring on hit songs like DJ Speedsta's "No Stress". His work has made its way to talented producers like Muzi and pH Raw X, among other well-respected musicians in the country. Born to religious leaders, Una Rams grew up in Makwarela, Limpopo with music as an integral part of his life. He formed part of the church's music ensemble with his brothers, creating the perfect environment to learn about music production. Una Rams' parents also stressed the importance of education within their home, nurturing his curiosity and interest in science and technology. Through his family's guidance, Una Rams was able to simultaneously pursue his music career and graduate from the University of Pretoria with a BSc in Computer Sciences.

Lindokuhle Sobekwa is from a generation of South African photographers born after the first democratic elections of 1994. Through his participation in the Of Soul and Joy photography education programme in Thokoza in 2012, he realised that the medium of photography could be an essential tool to tell stories and interest him.
Sobekwa exhibited for the first time in 2013 as part of a group show in Thokoza organised by the Rubis Mécénat foundation. His photo essay Nyaope (2014) was published in the Mail & Guardian (South Africa), in Vice magazine’s annual Photo Issue and in the daily De Standaard (Belgium). In 2015, Sobekwa was awarded a scholarship to study at the Market Photo Workshop. That same year his series Nyaope was exhibited in another group show, Free From My Happiness, organised by Rubis Mécénat for the International Photo Festival of Ghent (Belgium). The exhibition toured additional sites in Belgium and South Africa. A publication edited by Tjorven Bruyneel included a selection of works.
Sobekwa was selected by the Magnum Foundation for Photography and Social Justice (NYC) to develop the project I carry Her photo with Me. In 2018 he received the Magnum Foundation Fund to continue his long-term project Nyaope.
In 2023, Sobekwa’s work was included in the group show Against the Grain at Goodman Gallery Johannesburg. His work was presented alongside Ernest Cole, David Goldblatt, Ruth Motau and Ming Smith. In 2021 Sobekwa completed a residency at A4 Foundation in Cape Town, culminating in a two-person exhibition with Mikhael Subotzky titled Tell It to the Mountains. Sobekwa opened his first museum show in 2022 at Huis Marseille (Netherlands), featuring the body of work Umkhondo. Tracing Memory as part of the summer programme, The beauty of the world so heavy. His hand-made photobook, I carry Her photo with Me, was included in African Cosmologies at the FotoFest Biennial Houston (2020), curated by Mark Sealy.
Sobekwa was named an official member of Magnum Photos in 2022 and has recently been awarded the inaugural John Kobal Foundation Fellowship.
Lebohang Msiza is an actor who hails from Kwa-Thema where his passion for the arts began. Lebo has indulged in every aspect of the performing arts, including music, modelling and dancing until he finally found his passion in acting. Lebo has acted in numerous shows and is determined to become a leading man in the entertainment.
Although he started out as a dancer, Lebo has always been passionate about acting and only started to pursue his dream in 2014.
The talented actor gained popularity after he became a finalist on SABC3 talent search competition series The Final Cut, in 2017.
His big debut role was on Generations the Legacy in 2015.
Azanda Nyangintsimbi is an artist living in Pretoria, Gauteng. Specialising in drawing with charcoal, Azanda is currently a student at Pretoria Boys High School. His work focuses on capturing the essence of our surroundings, encompassing the emotions we experience and exploring the depths of identity and individuality. Themes of history, skin, and bodies are a common thread in his work, often emphasised through the use of light and shadow to convey depth and emotion.
He is loved and celebrated by many across the globe, when you talk about modern African music, that’s rooted in Mzansi but really for the world, you absolutely can’t not mention Empangeni born musician, Muzi. It’s been wonderful to follow his musical journey, watch him collaborate with international brands and perform on world stages. It’s a busy and exciting time now and I’m super glad he could make a stop at 5 Nights.

For that reason, he would love to create socially conscious enterprises to ameliorate the lives of the less well-off. He has developed the Geyser Flicker in order to provide a low cost, context-specific solution for low-middle income homes that are trying to manage their electricity consumption. They aim to use this as a platform to create even more low-cost entrepreneurial breakthroughs for people on the African sub-continent and beyond.
