Hi girls and boys !Managed to compile another vinyl recorded set, yet again with different musical styles. First the title is a phrase out the Santana song - I'll Be Waiting - beautifully remixed by DJ genius Orlando Voorn at the end of this set. This mix starts with an upbeat version of a Sade banger. Also you can find tracks in this from the man that helped create the Daft Punkt sound back in the day mr. Benjamin Diamond. You can find as well some of the original Italian house sounds from back in the day when they were recorded in professional studio's with real instruments and vocals giving a Balearic vibe, not the crappy Italo they produce nowadays. Don't want to spoil more so just listen. Don't be too critical of the mixing in this set because mixing these genres together can be a hard job with my old gear and don't be shy to use your equalizer to your own taste.Kind regards, enjoy .......VRETT a.k.a. Managed to collect a pick of freshly pressed vinyl to complete a new set for Soundcloud as usual. Some just came out, some are collectors. Hi guys and girls,it took me a while to save some new records to compile a new set. At the moment there are so many styles and moods in music and it is difficult to make a choice resulting in a set not always in the same vibe as a whole.Luckily I use my Soundcloud mainly as an archive for myself because I am not good in remembering titles and where to find them between the thousands of items I own. For my new vinyl recorded set I sorted out new and older edits of various bangers. Some are even better then the originals, although the quality of some of the recordings used by the editing artists show a few bumps sometimes.This one is a little differentthen the previous set but you know I love the variation.Anyway, enjoy ...... peace <3 VRETT
Another set I put together of new vinyl that appealed to me the last few months. Together the vibe sounds quite steady this time, not something I am used to do because I love to like different vibes in my sets. Describing music genres nowadays is changing in a fast rate and seems not that important as it seems, like it always was to myself. Describe this new set that I just recorded with fresh vinyl as a vibe of clubbing in a future disco, a concept that already is used by the exclusive parties at the Pikes hotel in Ibiza. It's been a while since my last set, but collecting bangers take a while. Actually you can divide this set in a part 1 and 2. The second part is kind of an ode to the eighties synthesizer music which vibes and sounds are re-invented aware or not aware by nowadays artists like .... This fresh recorded vinyl set is partially a celebration of spring and a reliving of he first set to vibe at the VIVRE II party on the 11th of March 2022. This time VRETT's mix is more of an instrumental housy one, with deeper synthesizer filled tunes ending with a classical analog outtro. My advice is to set your volume much higher because the recording was recorded at lower volume. Just listen and maybe it will make you a happier chap during this ungoing lockdown. ENJOY !

Just succeeded to record a mix of fresh tunes just before the ending of an historical year to lift you up for a fresh start tonight. Latest vinyl and edits in a mid-tempo style this time containing various artists as usual reaching heights for instance with a housey Burt Bacherach edit to some deep jazzy house grooves and others, even ending with a sweet Brazilian boogie. It takes a little while till you have bought and gathered again some new vinyl gems that you love and mixed in a new set that is to your satisfaction. This time I start with a lovely low tempo re-edit recorded with a lot of depth to go over in old school Detroit mode combined with some funky tunes and Chicago vibes. I did blend in one of my favorite wave records, a re-edit of Prefab Sprout's song "Bonny" a rare vinyl done by Leo Zero. This is such a dope "deep version" that takes you to a high, never to come down. Sounding like the "tremelo" device on classic electric guitars this record created epic memories.
A new vinyl set recorded Vrett and digitalised to mp3 later while digging the crates of my extensive private vinyl collection travelling back in this set until the seventies filled up with some new housie tunes I loved to hear at the moment. A musical tour letting you hear a minuscule part of the tunes picked up while dj-ing in at least 4 decades and still going.
