Well, it’s been a few months. Quite frankly, Disney’s recent political missteps have really given us a lot to think about. The two of us (Mike and Dave) make this little show because we love the history of the films and theme parks of Disney - but their involvement with funding politicians pushing discriminatory legislation made us wonder over the past few months about whether we could continue supporting them. With the new Jungle Cruise film finally hitting Disney+ this month, we felt the need to dive in. We look at the Easter eggs that point to the longtime attraction, and we discuss our opinion on the movie’s ranking in the Disney attraction-to-film pantheon. Only available as a bootleg on certain streaming sites, this documentary chronicles the making of The Emperor’s New Groove, starting at the very beginning when the cast, script, title, music and director were all completely different. But is there a good reason this movie remains unavailable on reputable streaming sites? Why does Disney not acknowledge its existence?
