The Only Place To Begin

I remember reading a story about a driver who was lost in the countryside of England. He asked a farmer how to get to London. The farmer said, well, if I was going to London I wouldn’t start from here. This is Bryan Fischer with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. If we’re going to get to where we want to go in life, we have to start at the right place. Solomon tells us in Proverbs 1:7 that “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” If we want to get the only kind of knowledge that truly counts in life, we must begin with the fear of the Lord. This is a not cringing fear, but an awesome reverence for God. Solomon wrote Proverbs as a training manual for his own sons.
