Photonic therapy is an advanced form of traditional complementary therapy using a specific light to stimulate recognised acupuncture points.
We do not use needles but a safe, low-frequency red LED light (not laser) which alleviates pain and supports the healing of acute and chronic conditions and injuries in any living animals.
In the new series of: How did red light healing start? The Photonic Journey of an Outback Veterinarian.
I talk to Rob McLaren, a happily married man and father of 2 beautiful young girls, a passionate horseman and lives in South-East Queensland. He is also the son of Dr. Brian McLaren, former CEO of Advanced Photonic Therapy and a published author.
Questions:
Lison: Hi, my dog will need a TPLO surgery. Does your Photonics Therapy can help him with pain before and after the surgery? Thanks Lison
Sonia: The red light is it best not to look at the light?
Joanna: Hi Eva you mentioned a small animal online curse in July but I do not seem to find information about it to register. Can you help?
Petra: How long do you have to treat the scar, so that it doesn't interrupt the flow anymore?
Claudia: How to prepare a dog for the fireworks? Juan-Barbara: Dear Eva Servais, what protocol would you suggest to help a dog with leishmaniosis. He has received treatment with Milteforan and is in good shape now. He is taking 1 pill of Allopurinol to prevent the disease from reactivating again. We have to control the levels at the end of the month since it will be one month after the end of the Milteforan. We are thinking about doing the standard points daily but would like to know if there are other points that could help in this specific case, for boosting his immune system and help to fight against the parasites. Thank you in advance for your answer. Hugs from Belgium.

QUESTIONS:
Nancy: I bought the new laser light a month or so ago. I was just had a couple of questions and I didn’t know to set up the one line consultation that was with the purchase of the light, or because of the time difference if I can ask them in an email?
Iris: Hi Eva, I need your help. We just rescued and foster this little puppy that has no hind leg strength (possibly swimmer puppy) and this nasty wound on his paw. I bought your torch and all the books. It says in the wound care book to put the light on for 1 minute. Is that enough or should I do it more often each day or longer? Also, which level should I use? And after the light treatment should I cover it up or leave it open? We also torch the standard points to help his overall well being. We don't know what happened to this little guy. Thank you in advance for giving me some guidance.
Jane: Hi Eva, I read the other day on the page of your rescue center that Tommy started walking again. That is fantastic. What did you do? What points did you stimulate and how long did it take for him to walk again?
Deborah: Hi Eva, I saw your message about you doing the Certificate courses again as of July. I am so excited as I was too late to join you in January. I have to choose though I can only do one of the 2. Can you please tell me a bit more about it.
In the episode of today, I am talking about Brujo, a black Spanish Stallion, who suffered a dozen colics, vasculitis, laminitis, navicular syndrome, sacroiliac injury... and still recuperated to be a dressage horse again.
Today I am talking about Fibromyalgia and how I got my life back, can do more than ever before, and don't have to suffer anymore.
Laminitis in horses...it happens too often and too many do not know enough about it so I thought about sharing Dr. Brian McLaren's info.
In this episode, I will talk about the signs of illness in birds, specific symptoms of certain diseases, notes for veterinary acupuncturists and the conditions in birds for which we use Photonic Therapy.

QUESTIONS:
Therese: Is it ok to torch standard points on a horse or dog every 2 or 3 days all year round for general maintenance? What would you recommend? Thank you!
Diane: I want to use the torch for an extruded and swollen lumbar disk and 3 vertebrae surrounded by much scar tissue. The disk is swollen soo much it is putting tremendous pressure on the sciatic nerve. Can not move because of pain. Dr is doing epidural injections. cortisone Does that keep the light from having any effect?? How long after injection will the light help? What effect does the pain med have on the light?
Lisa: Hello, I was wondering if you have any documentation on how I would use red light therapy to help my horse recover from surgery? I have attached the vet report which explains the procedure carried out.
I purchased the red light to treat him for colic but didn’t know the cause of the colic at the time. Hopefully, now that he has had the surgery he will be less likely to colic (although in saying this horses that have had colic surgery are more susceptible to future colic episodes. He is coming home tomorrow hopefully.
Eliane: Hi Eva, I have a question regarding the battery in the torch, do we have to exchange them after some time because after I have charged it, the light does not stay strong for more than 30 minutes. Or is it something else. Thanks
Paul: Can an infrared light therapy panel do much for an extensively torn shoulder labrum and frayed rotator cuff or for an inguinal hernia or groin injury? If not what non-invasive non-needle options would help?
Yes I know... this topic should have been the first to do... Nevertheless, here it is... an Introduction in Photonic Therapy

Lahluna: 1. I don't seem to be getting any relief using points for carpal tunnel. I have been torching every second day for almost two weeks. Should I be seeing some results yet? I will keep going with it...I am also being very aware of my posture and holding of stress in shoulders (which is the cause of it).
Jan: I have 2 questions, I have an older Red Healer dog with a wart between his toes. Are there any points you would recommend? 2nd, my cat Rosie has diabetes. She is on insulin, twice a day. What points would help her? Thanks.
Lyris: My 95# boxer mix who just turned 5 is starting to have issues with sitting. He seems to struggle a bit and if he has been laying down too long seems to be very stiff and at times limp. Claudia: I would like to help a friend whose cat has been diagnosed with a spleen deficiency by a vet who does acupuncture. I am hoping she might decide to use your photonic therapy.
