Coinbase is adding 50k users per day, which is a crazy amount of people. The market took a huge price fall overall, but has seem to have recovered slightly at the time of recording. There are people predicting Bitcoin to $65k with the recent jump in price. I do not doubt that this is a price that can be reached eventually, I am just not as bullish as others. Congress had two crypto hearings today. There was some good and bad. So let's look at both.
Bitcoin made a big move today, breaking the $6800 resistance level. Awesome to see. There is something even better and more interesting than that though. Bitcoin volume increases substantially in less than 24 hours. I doubt it’s a lasting bull run, but shows people thought it was at a good buying price.
Third world countries using crypto is going to help get it accepted quicker. Binance just launched its first fiat trading in Uganda instead of a more developed country. This is interesting and shows where exchange leaders see the best way for growth.
The Endless is an amazing movie that people should watch. And a bonus movie from the same directors because I watched it right after watching the endless.

Goldman Sachs may trade cryptocurrencies, which is really good news. Rapper Akon is creating a coin called Akoin and wants to have a crypto city. Another hack with Bithumb losing 30 million. Lots to cover.

An ICO scam got me for 2 Ether. Going to be upfront about how it all happened so you can try to avoid the same thing. Talk about the real problem and how we can get rid of ICO scams.

When most people diversify they just buy more than one coin. This is what I did in the beginning. AboveCrypto is a group I am in, and with their help we came up with a better way to diversify. We broke the crypto world into 5 industries, with coins grouped into these industries. It allows you for a better portfolio diversification.

Coinrail was hacked over the weekend. This is the 99th largest exchange, so not very big. It did 2.6 million in trade volume the day before the hack, so not that much. CNN Money is blaming this for the fall in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency over that past couple of days. This it total FUD (fear uncertainty doubt).

I got an overdraft fee from my bank. First one in about ten years. It got me thinking about all banking fees and how crypto can help that. Also Coinbase had an update that is a little confusing so I called them to figure it out.

Had the pleasure of talking with David L. Yermack. He is the Albert Fingerhut Professor of Finance and Business Transformation at New York University Stern School of Business. He serves as Chairman of the Finance Department and Director of the NYU Pollack Center for Law and Business.

Had the chance to talk with AZ Representative Jeff Weninger about the crypto bills they are trying to pass. Since I talked with him the FinTech Sandbox Bill HB2434 has passed. But the bill to allow Arizona to accept crypto as tax payments did not.

I always thought that a crypto having a working product was a really good thing. It was one thing I always looked for when I evaluated a coin. Now I may be changing my mind.
FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) is real and it can get you into trouble. I go over some ways I try to deal with it.

After a big day of gains the market corrects. It can't go up forever as much as I wish it could. This is why starting with small amounts and learning is a good way to start.

Crypto markets are volatile, but don't let this scare you. With volatility come a chance to make a profit. Here is an example of why you should look at taking profit when it runs up. Also, a way to look at investing instead of just concentrating on price.
