In this chapter, Jesus was criticized by the Pharisees and scribes because his disciples were eating bread without washing their hands. Jesus pointed them back to what the laws say about honoring your father and mother, implying that they were putting all of their time into the temple and would later have no energy to help their parents. Jesus could see deep into their thoughts and hearts. They wanted to test him, but as God in the flesh, he knew how to respond and referred them back to the law that they knew.Jesus healed a Canaanite woman's daughter because he saw her great faith. After Jesus made a comment about giving to his children before or instead of the dogs first, she responded with great faith, saying that even the dogs can be satisfied with just a little bit of the crumbs that fall from the masters table. [Paraphrased verses 26 & 27]At this point, she was willing to accept even the smallest thing Jesus could give her for her daughter to be healed. This shows us that as Gentiles, our faith is recognized in heaven and does not go unnoticed. So today, I encourage you to exercise your faith. We are put in situations that only God can fix so that our faith can be tested, and in doing so, we grow spiritually.

Matthew 14:1-36; Exodus 20:14

In today's message, we learn about Herod, who was so aroused that he had innocent John the Baptist killed. Herod beheaded John because he was committing adultery with his brother's wife. John the Baptist confronted him because, as we know from the Ten Commandments, we are not to commit such acts. This command was true then, and it remains true today.When Jesus walked on water, He told Peter to come to Him, and Peter was able to walk on water as well. However, he became distracted by the wind and began to doubt, causing him to sink. When Jesus commands us to do something, it is for our best interest to follow His instructions. It's important to remember that Jesus will not ask you to do something that contradicts His Word. Therefore, it's crucial to assess if what you are asked to do aligns with His teachings.Today, I urge you to refrain from all sexual sins, including sexting, cybersex, phone sex, adultery, and pedophilia, as they offer no eternal or future benefits. Instead, focus on doing the things that Jesus commands and that align with His Word.

Matthew 24-30, 36-43, 44-50; Romans 8:29-30

It is a privilege to know that we are predestined. God has selected his children who will enter the kingdom of heaven. For that reason, we ought to share the treasure of the word, leave everything behind for it, and also share it with everyone we encounter, for we can't decipher the tare from the wheat from our horizontal view.

So, today, I encourage you to share the gospel with someone and leave everything behind to follow God's kingdom.

Matthew 12:22-28; Isaiah 38:1; 1 Corinthians 14:33

In the following verses, Jesus speaks about how he was able to cast out demons by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. He explains that if he had cast out a demon by the power of Beelzebul, it would create a divided kingdom, as it would mean that Satan's kingdom is divided against itself.We can apply this principle to our own lives. Our homes, businesses, countries, and relationships must be united in purpose. Any division or conflict within them can lead to collapse or failure. Just as in civil wars, alignment with God's truth brings strength and restoration. Therefore, it's important for our homes to align with what is true and with the Spirit of God, who has the power to cast out demons, heal the sick, and perform miracles.Today, I suggest and remind myself to actively pray for our divided homes, businesses, countries, and relationships. We should ask God, through Jesus, to cast out the forces that oppose what is good and holy. Prayer is our tool for aligning with God's truth and seeking His intervention.

Matthew 11:1-30; Malachi 3:1; Isaiah 40:3; Psalm 4:8

In this chapter, Jesus confirms to John the Baptist and his disciples that Jesus was the one for whom he prepared the way. John was the messenger spoken about in the Old Testament.Jesus provides peace and safety for his followers. His yoke is also easy. By yoke, he means our work for Him here on this earth, for His word is easy to share, and some principles are easy to apply daily.Today, let us not be entangled in the rat race of overworking to share the gospel. Instead, let us share it from the depths of our hearts, with a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), which only He can bestow when we find solace in Him. In doing so, we will not only experience the benefits in this life but also in the life to come.

Matthew 10: 1-2, 5, 8, 13, 18-20, 26-28, 37-38; Romans 1:16

In this chapter, Jesus, in His wisdom, called the apostles from various walks of life, demonstrating that His message is for everyone, but initially for the Jews. He instructed them to go out and preach what they had seen done through Him, showing them what can be achieved when we have Him in our lives. He will provide all that we need, whether earthly things or spiritual strength and boldness to proclaim Him, even when being judged. Today, I encourage you and me to proclaim the gospel without fear, for He will bless you and the people receiving the message. Moreover, you will be honored by Jesus in the presence of His Father.

Matthew 9:1-38; Psalm 103:3; Hosea 6:6; Ephesians 2:16

In this chapter, we learn about how Jesus first forgave and then healed, as he saw the great faith people had in him. Jesus wants us to be well internally before we can be well physically.Jesus recognized the faith people had in him and responded with forgiveness and healing. This highlights the importance of faith in our relationship with him. He values our faith and trust in him more than any physical sacrifice, as it is the first step towards compassion and loyalty.Let's place our faith in Him, as He is the only one with the power to heal and restore our health. More importantly, He alone has the power to forgive sins, as it was His mission to redeem us and reconcile us back to the Father when He obeyed Him and died on the cross.

Matthew 8:1-34; Mark 1:44-45; Leviticus 14:4, 10 & 12; Psalm 89:8-9.

In this chapter, Jesus continues his public work by healing and casting out demons. He demonstrates his might and deity, and even the demons recognize him as the Son of God.Jesus has the power in his tongue and hands to heal and restore. He allowed Gentiles and Jews alike to come to him without reproach to be healed.In today's terms, we are called to invoke the name of the Lord for healing. Though he resides in Heaven, his power to work miracles in this world is channeled through the Holy Spirit, our Counselor and Helper. Whether you find yourself in a sickbed, in prison, or at home, he is capable of performing his wonderful work.

Matthew 7:1-29; Galatians 5:22-23

In this chapter, Jesus shares one of his first parables. He instructs us to help others, to ask, seek, and knock, and to treat others as we would want to be treated, following the golden rule. Jesus also emphasizes that if we are a good tree, we will produce good fruit, but if not, we will be thrown into the fire. He warns that performing miracles does not necessarily indicate sanctity, as even false prophets can perform miracles without knowing the Lord. Jesus advises us to build on solid ground, symbolized by the rock, so that we will not waver. Finally, in this chapter, Jesus demonstrates his authority and knowledge of the kingdom of God. Throughout this, he encourages us to remain close to him, help others, and live the godly life he desires for us.

Matthew 6:1-34; 2 Corinthians 9:7; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Ecclesiates 5:2; 1 Kings 18:26; Luke 17:3-4.

In this chapter, I would say that God wants us to apply seven principles or Christian core values: giving, prayer, forgiveness, fasting, sight, service, and not worrying.

They can each be applied correctly, and in this chapter, Jesus instructs us on how to do it. Giving silently, in another scripture says ungrudgingly; Pray in a quiet place and another scripture says without ceasing; Forgive so that we may be forgiven and later in the scriptures seven times seven; Fast not with a gloomy face; Sight is the lamp of your body; Serve only one Master, God; Worry not about tomorrow, for he supplies.

So, today I encourage you to seek the Lord in all these values. When we do, they will not only enrich our lives, but also bring us closer to the abundant life that God has promised us.

Matthew 5:1-48

In this chapter, Jesus explains the beatitudes, which mean blessings and a series of other norms that benefit everyone.

He talks about how we ought to live as Christians so that others may see Him in us, how to treat others, our enemies and opponents in a law case, how to love our enemies, and how we can be adulterous by just looking lustfully at someone and many other norms that help us grow, mature, and live like Christ in this world.

I encourage you to adhere closely to these norms, for in the end, when we face the Lord, we will be rewarded greatly. Our adherence will not only benefit us but also inspire others to follow in our footsteps and be rewarded, too.

Matthew 4:1-25; James 4:7; Hebrews 2:18 & 4:15; 1 Corinthians 10:13

In the book of Matthew, we learn that Jesus was tempted, just like we are, but He did not sin.Every day, we face the enemy's temptations, feeling cornered and without escape. But let's remember, we worship the Creator, not the created. The word of our Creator holds immense power, a power that can effectively combat the temptations we face.Today, I encourage you to learn a verse you can use when tempted. The enemy tempts us time after time with the same sin or thing, but the word of God has the power to battle him.

Matthew 3:1-17; 2 Kings 1:8; Isaiah 40:3; 1 John 1:9

We are tested and tempted every day, and sometimes, this pulls us to sin, but if we confess, as the verse in 1 John says, we will be forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness.

John the Baptist, a significant figure in our faith, came to the Jews with a powerful message. He urged them to seek forgiveness and confess their sins, essentially, to redirect their lives. The act of baptism, a tangible symbol of this forgiveness, was a powerful representation of this transformative journey.

As humans, we are tried and tested every day, but Jesus's sacrifice at the cross opened up the upward route to the Father. So, today, I encourage you to ask for forgiveness and repent so that you can be redeemed by the Savior, our Lord Jesus.

Matthew 1:1-23; Micah 5:2; John 1:46; Jeremiah 31:15

Here, God's protection for his son is vividly seen. God tells us to follow his voice and obey, just like Joseph and many other people in the Bible.

When God speaks, it is crucial for us to act. This is not only for our own benefit but also for those whom God has spoken about. Often, God does not immediately reveal the reasons behind his instructions, as he did with Joseph on his command to go to Egypt. However, in due time, we may come to understand the wisdom in his commands.

Just like Abraham and Joseph, in this case, we ought to listen to and follow God's instructions, for we will reap the benefits later on.

Matthew 1:1-25; Mark 2:14; Luke 5:27; Isaiah 7:14

Matthew, also known as Levi in Hebrew, was a tax collector. This chapter details Joseph's lineage, which ultimately leads to Jesus's genealogy. The individuals listed in this genealogy were Jews or followed Jewish teachings, which is why I believe they are included here. The word of God is not merely a collection of teachings, but the very foundation of our existence. It is through His word that we find guidance, and He desires that we align our decisions with His divine wisdom. Nations should adhere to what is effective and beneficial for all citizens. In His word, there are values that can save a country and its citizens.

Here is a quick overview of the New Testament.

The New Testament, a testament to diversity, was written in Greek by a group of Jewish writers between 50 and 120 CE. These writers include Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, James, Peter, Jude, and Hebrew (an unknown writer).

The New Testament is divided into the Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, Epistles, and Apocalypse.

Malachi 4:1-6; Matthew 11:14; Mark 9:11-13; Luke 1:17

Here, God promises the coming of his son, and foretells the role of a preparer, a role that John the Baptist would later fulfill in a transformative manner in the new testatment.

The last verse of this chapter says that God will restore the children's hearts to their fathers and vice versa, and the only way to do so is if we pray for them. We are to pray for the most challenging people in our lives, such as relatives, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances, so we will be ready when Jesus comes.

Stay playerful so that his coming will be soon, and he receives a bride ready to see him.

Malachi 3:1-18; Genesis 14:18-20; 1 Timothy 5: 17-18; 1 Corinthians 16:1-4.This passage from the book of Malachi is well-known among most Christians because it discusses the concept of tithing in detail. God asks us to entrust him with the first 10% of our income, promising to open the windows of heaven and bless us in return. Tithing is also important because it supports preachers and teachers, and helps sustain the church leaders. When we give the first 10% to God, the remaining 90% will be multiplied to cover all our needs. By giving 10% or more to the church, we acknowledge God's blessings and trust in his provision, knowing that he can exceed our expectations.

Malachi 2:1-17; 2 Corinthians 6: 14; 2 Chronicles 31:4; Ruth:16-17

In the second chapter of Malachi, the Lord teaches the Israelites to serve Him with all their heart and to abide by His law.The priests served God with hollow reverence, not their hearts, even though they were to be an example to the Israelites. In that way, the Israelites would follow Him more closely.Marriage is a sacred covenant that God wants us to honor. It is the first institution God established, and He wants us to honor the vows we made in front of witnesses at our weddings, and be an example of a couple that brings glory to Him.Today, I urge you to embrace God's law, not just because it is for our good, but as a testament to our unwavering commitment to walk alongside Him. Let us demonstrate to the world, believers and unbelievers alike, our steadfast devotion to Him and His word as we ought to.

Malachi 1:1-14; Genesis 25:23 and Romans 12:1

In Malachi chapter 1, God questioned the Israelites' sacrifices brought to the temple. He wanted to show them His faithfulness and love as His chosen nation. God wants us to bring the very best offering to Him, not what's leftover. At this present time, we don't bring sacrifices to a temple, but we bring tithe, offering, and our services to the church. We aren't to bring our last penny or our last amount of energy, but our best. Also, this sacrifice needs to bring honor to God, not for others to see, but as a service that would glorify Him, not ourselves. Remember, the joy and fulfillment that comes from offering our best to God is immeasurable. The sacrifice we bring to God is the sacrifice that ought to costs us the most, for He is our heavenly Father who gave His One and Only Son to die for us as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. I encourage you to do your best at work and while serving at church, and to bring the best offering when it's time to collect an offering for Him.

It's unknown who wrote the Book of Malachi, which was written 100 years after the Israelites returned to their land after the Babylonian exile.

Malachi, a pivotal text, was penned 400 years prior to the advent of the New Testament, marking a significant period in biblical history.

The Book of Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament, the final book of the 12 minor prophets that started with the Book of Hosea.

In Malachi, we will see six arguments or claims by God, and the Israelites disagree with or question God's responses. These arguments are in chapters 1-3.

Zechariah 14:1-21; John 8:12; James 1:17-18; Revelation 19:14

In today's scripture in Zechariah, we see the light of the world ruling, not forcing people to worship, but indicating that if it's not done, he will not provide rain, which means no crops or life. We don't have to worship God, now or ever, but if we do, we will reap a harvest of a good life. God does not need us to worship him. He has his angels to do so, but he desires us to see his goodness in our day-to-day life, and out of this overflow of his goodness, we would yearn to worship with all we are.God can fill us when we feel lost, disoriented, or helpless. He is skilled at bringing life to the most barren places, satisfying our needs even when we are unaware. In our darkest moments, he can bring laughter and hope that can illuminate our valleys with his light if we allow him to.Today, I encourage you to follow the light. Follow where there is no darkness, and that is in Jesus. He is the light of the world. He still shines, and He wants us to receive a bit of that light in our hearts today to complete us.

Zechariah 13:1-9; Matthew 24:21-22; Jeremiah 30:7; John 3:16.

In this chapter, Zechariah reveals a profound truth. In their human weakness, the disciples deserted Jesus in the midst of his torture, beating, and accusations. Yet, Jesus' life was not taken from him. No, he offered it up willingly for his children, for us, His chosen ones. Let us reflect on this sacrifice with gratitude and humility.

The disciples scattered when he needed them the most. Don't worry; God will not leave you alone when you need the most help. He is a compassionate God who wants his children to come to him, ask for repentance, and acknowledge that he is the only one who can cleanse them from all their unrighteousness.

Today, I encourage you to ask for forgiveness and repent from your heart. God yearns to walk with his children so they can reap all the benefits of his great love and compassion toward us. Also, pray for your enemies so God can work on their hearts.

Zechariah 12:1-14; Psalm 122:6; Romans 11:26; 2 Chronicles 35:22-25

In this chapter of Zechariah, the Lord presents Israel's future salvation and how they will mourn for Jesus, the one who was pierced for them.

The surrounding nations of Israel are for their destruction, but God says he will prosper the nations that love Israel as an ally. The United States needs to remain in that position and protect God's land.

Therefore, I urge you today to demonstrate your faithfulness by actively praying for the peace of Jerusalem, for it is through this act that protection from the Mighty One will flow to those who do.

Zechariah 11:1-17; Matthew 26:15; Matthew 27:3-5, 7; Daniel 9:27

Let us delve into the profound prophecy of Zechariah, who foretold the fate of the thirty pieces of silver that would be used to betray our Lord, a revelation from God Himself. This prophecy, now fulfilled, is vividly recorded in the writings of Matthew.

God is so gracious to us now that we have his complete instructions as to how we should live and who we are to follow and not to follow. His scriptures were written for us to be guided and prevented from the unfolding future.

Today, be guided by God's word, which he graciously gave us to live by and be alerted of things that could happen in this world and to us.

Zechariah 10:1-12; Cornerstone: Psalm 118:22-23; Isaiah 28:16; Matthew 21:42; Matthew 7:24-27; 1 Peter 2:4-5; Acts 4:11; Tent Peg: Isaiah 22:23-24; Bow of Battle: Isaiah 63:1-4; Every Ruler: Revelation 19:16.

Today's passage by Zechariah paints a vivid picture of Jesus as the cornerstone, tent peg, bow of battle, and every ruler. These powerful metaphors underscore his unwavering strength and stability, making him the only foundation that can sustain any building. As the song goes, he is 'the rock in which we stand.'

The enemy may blow on us, but he can't destroy us, for Jesus is the rock and the sustainer of his church.

I encourage you today to place your faith in Jesus so that when hard times come, you can withstand any attack and blow. He can cease any wind, as he did when the storm was hitting the boat when he was with the disciples.

You will never regret placing your trust in Him.

Zechariah 9:1-17; Matthew 21:1-11; Psalm 118:26

The Lord fulfilled a prophecy, his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, which Zechariah saw.

Jesus, our King, while on earth, was a humble king compared to no other king.

Today, he is an accessible king who wants to have an intimate relationship with us. We can do that when we come humbly to him and surrender our lives to him.

He came humbly, and in his humility, he calls us to be humble. This mutual humility allows us to achieve great things for his kingdom, guided by his power and our humble surrender.

Zechariah 8:1-23, Matthew 19:26, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Proverbs 18:10, Psalm 91:1-2

The Lord showed Zechariah the future blessing of our communion with others in the new city of Jerusalem, where Jesus would rule.

Jesus, with His transformative power, will change us from within, instilling in us a love for one another that mirrors His own. Our behavior towards His people will reflect His teachings and example.

Today, I encourage you to give your life to Christ and ask him to transform you into his likeness, for his ways are better than our ways. With this change, we can serve man and Him with a heart full of gratitude and awe of his love.

Zechariah 7:1-14, Exodus 22:22-24, Ephesians 6:6-9

In this chapter, the Lord of Host revealed to Zechariah how the people are to serve him and do things that honor him.

We ought to serve God wholeheartedly and with great joy, in service to the widows, fatherless, strangers, and poor.

Our devotion to God should be a reflection of our innermost being, whether we are in prayer, serving at church, fasting, meditating, or praising God. It should be our genuine desire to please him, not to gain the approval of those who observe us, that should guide our actions.

Today, I encourage you to do something nice to someone who is oppressed and going through a hard time. Seek God to see what you can do to make someone smile.

Zechariah 6:1-15, John 15:5, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 2:19-22.

God desires us to follow His rules and commandments so that we can constantly renew and strengthen our bodies in His temple, which is the Holy Spirit. In this chapter, we witness the amazing revelation of Jesus as both a priest and a king, possessing unparalleled authority and wisdom to rule. Therefore, I encourage you to stay close to Jesus and allow His word to govern your heart, so that the process of sanctification can begin in your life. Those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior can continue to grow and prepare their bodies as a dwelling place for Him, which will bring honor and praise to Him.

Zechariah 5:1-11; Exodus 20:15-16; Proverbs 6:16-19; 14:5

In this chapter, Zechariah had another vision in which he saw a flying scroll. The scroll contained instructions for people who steal, are perjurers or have lying tongues. These things are detestable to the Lord because stealing takes from our neighbor, and lying or swearing by His name is a form of falsifying His name. God is light, and in Him, there is no variation or shifting shadow as it says in James 1:17b. Jesus also declared, "I am the Light of the world" in John 8:12a.Furthermore, in this chapter, Zechariah saw an ephah with a woman and a weight that represented wickedness, according to the Bible's commentaries. At that time, the people of Israel who had returned from Babylon had a materialistic mindset, indicating their lack of trust in God, the Creator of everything.Let us reiterate the profound lesson from this chapter: the act of lying or swearing by God's name is never acceptable, and it is an act that He despises. Our God is the embodiment of truth, and it is our duty to uphold and reflect His truth in all our actions and words.

Zechariah 4: 1-14 and Luke 16:10

Zechariah was shown a vision, and the Angel of the Lord of Host explained its meaning to him. It is important to remember that every task, whether big or small, should be done with dedication, and presented to God. Through His Spirit, we are empowered to achieve great things, even in the smallest of tasks.Never underestimate the value of starting small in your project. God, in His infinite wisdom, recognizes your full potential and desires for you to trust Him in the little things. As Luke 16:10 reminds us, "The one who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and the one who is unrighteous in a very little thing is also unrighteous in much." Therefore, you should entrust your small resources to God, for He is the master of multiplication.

Zechariah 3:1-10, Exodus 28:36-38, Isaiah 64:6, John 15:5, Hebrew 4:16, John 14:6.

In this chapter, Zechariah envisions Joshua, the high priest, being accused by Satan in front of God. However, God had a better plan. He changed Joshua's filthy garments and placed a turban on his head, perhaps with the engraving "Holy to the Lord", as used in Moses days.I am fascinated that God wants us to bring our filthy garments in exchange for a brand new life and a garment of righteousness. We receive this garment when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. For He took the sins of the world upon His shoulders so that we could have full access to heaven, even to the Father Himself.We can do many charitable works on this earth, but if they don't align with a right heart connected to the Father through Jesus, those "righteous deeds" are useless and do not have any value in the kingdom of heaven.Today, I encourage you to find Jesus. He is accessible anytime and anywhere. He wants to redeem all who come to Him with an honest, humble, and genuine heart, like that of a child.

Zechariah 2:1-13, Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 18:4-5, John 3:16

We are witnessing a beautiful display of God's love for Israel and his adopted children. Jesus will govern his nation and will bring forth the perfect government as the light. God's strength is so powerful that he can shake his hands, and his enemies will fall. He loves his children and his nation, Israel, deeply. This is why he wanted them to leave their enemies' land, so they would not feel his judgment. The Lord considers his Holy Land as the apple of his eye, and He takes care of it lovingly and dedicatedly. Today, let us remember that God's love extends to us, his chosen nation, Israel, and to us, his lovingly adopted children. He would move heaven and earth for us, as he did when he sent his son to this earth. He opened the heavens and sent His son who took on human form and rose on the third day. We are truly the apple of his eye.

Zechariah 1:1-21 and James 4:8

In this chapter, we learned about how God is always on the side of his people, the Israelites. Zechariah had visions where angels and even Jesus himself spoke to him. We also discovered that God has a purpose for his people. He wanted them to come closer to him so that he could show them what that purpose was. Even though they faced many obstacles, God wanted to bring prosperity to them. Additionally, the nations that caused suffering and hardship to the Israelites will soon be judged for their actions. Today, let us remember the powerful words, "Draw near to God and he will draw near to you," as stated in James. Drawing near to God strengthens our dependence, stability, and assurance, as we trust in the creator of our life who always knows what is best for us.

In this book of Zechariah, we will see many prophecies about our Lord that will give us an overflow of hope.

Zechariah means Yahweh Remembers.

He preached during Haggai's ministry and is believed to have preached until early 840 BC, before Ezra and Nehemiah.

Because of his lineage, Zechariah was a priest and prophet.

Zechariah's book is a rich tapestry of prophecies, discussing the first and second coming of Christ, the rejection of the messiah by his people, the judgment of sin, cleansing and restoration, and the promise of God to rebuild his people.

Chapters 1-8 were written during the temple's rebuilding, and chapters 9-14 were written after its completion.

Haggai 1:1-23, Philippians 4:19

In this chapter, the prophet Haggai encourages his people to keep building the temple, as God is the owner of all earthly resources.In our lives, we should not lose hope, for God knows the purpose intended for each of us on this earth and knows exactly how to provide for our needs to fulfill any promise he has given us.It's important not to compare ourselves to others. We are all unique and made in God's likeness, so we are beautiful in his eyes, especially those who have been called by him to receive the work of the cross in our hearts. Comparison can rob us of our joy, desire, and strength. Don't let negative circumstances hinder you from doing what God has for you to do on this earth for his glory, by comparing your work to that of others.

Haggai 1:1-15

The book of Haggai is about the prophet who redirected the purpose of the people of Israel. The 50,000 people who had returned from the Babylonian exile had started building the temple, but their focus was not on God first. As a result, their desires dwindled. It is essential to remember that it is God's purpose that should guide us. When we align our desires with God's purpose, we find true fulfillment.If our desires do not align with God's purpose, they can cause harm to us. It is imperative to realize it soon enough before they start wrecking us. God can provoke drought, lack of finance, manpower, and strength, but if we reroute back to God's purpose and plan, we can live in peace and harmony with God and man.Therefore, it is crucial to refocus your plans today and allow God to be the center of your life before your plans misguide you or cause harm.

This book shows how the minor prophet encouraged the Jewish people to build a second temple.

They listened to Haggai's encouragement and built the temple, completed in 515 BC under the leadership of Zerubbabel, a Jewish leader and Persian ruler of Davidic origin.

The first temple, a symbol of Jewish faith and unity, was erected by King Solomon. Its destruction by the Babylonians during the exile marked a significant turning point in Jewish history, paving the way for the construction of the second temple.

Today, only a portion of the temple's outer wall remains, and it is presumed that behind it was the Holy of Holies, where God's presence abide.

Zephaniah 3:1-20

In the final chapter of Zephaniah, God offers hope to the people of Israel that their nation will be restored with the presence of Jesus, our "Victorious Warrior". This chapter also deals with the issue of judgment for Israel. The prophets and priests, who were expected to guide God's chosen people, had led them astray, resulting in severe judgment.As we continue our day, let us remember that God is capable of mending and restoring any relationship, especially our relationship with Him. He will rejoice and celebrate when we are reconciled with Him. This life is merely a test, and we are just passing through. As the song goes, "His kingdom will know no end". God has emotions, and He will delight in us once He restores us.

Zephaniah 2:1-15, 2 Corithians 6:2, Luke 21:36, James 4:6In this chapter, Zephaniah discusses the consequences of not repenting and the judgment that will befall the nations surrounding Judah, which have oppressed God's people.God has a unique way of judging people, and sometimes, He brings down people so that they can humble themselves before Him and accept that He has complete power over this world. He judges our enemies as well as the people with whom He wants a relationship and who are far from Him. It is a blessing to be under His shadow, as Psalm 91:1 says: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty." We can remain under His protection when we repent, rest, and trust Him, for who can fight the Almighty?Today, let us remember that God, in His wisdom, will judge our enemies in His own way. Therefore, we are encouraged not to seek revenge, as He is more than capable of dealing with them on our behalf.

Zephaniah 1:1-18

In the opening chapter of Zephaniah, he meticulously traces his lineage, a lineage that boasts of kings who were unwavering in their faith and devotion to God.

God has given time for man to repent because "the day of the Lord' will soon come, suddenly "in a blinking of an eye." He has given us many warnings of his coming. He has provided a manual for us to live by. He is not quick to judge but great in mercies, for he does not want anyone to perish but that all have eternal life, as is referred to in John 3:16. God also, and very importantly, provided His son as the ultimate sacrifice for the redemption of our sins.

So today, if you are far from God, come to him suddenly, for overthinking about your wealth or terrestrial things won't buy you a ticket to eternity. Only by knowing Jesus can you.

Zephaniah 1:4-13; 2:1-3; 3:7-20

Zephaniah means "Yahweh Has Hidden"

This week, we will explore how the Lord will bring judgment upon the people of Judah and the nations surrounding it. However, if they repent, they will be restored. Zephaniah prophesied that the Lord will gather people from all nations to serve and be saved by Him. We serve a God who adores all nations and has provided a way for us to be saved by Him.

Habakkuk 1:1-19

Habakkuk prayed to God for a revival. Despite having heard back from God in the previous two chapters, in this prayer he simply admired God's strength and power. Habakkuk recognized that only God had the authority to bring about a revival in the land, and that He had done so in the past. Habakkuk also knew that judgment or wrath was coming, so he asked God to remember mercy even in His wrath.Today, we should not forget the profound guidance that we can receive from God when we live in submission to the Holy Spirit. God knows what is best for us, and when we embrace this submission, life can be as beautiful as 'hinds' feet,' allowing us to walk carefree and elevated, as if in the clouds.

Habakkuk 2:1-20, Romans 1:17, Hebrew 10:38 and Galatians 3:11

In the text of Habakkuk, God wants us to understand and follow what has been written by the prophets, apostles, and disciples. They wrote these words so that we would not be satisfied by the things of this world, but by what He says in His Word and run with it and by it. The Lord provides for all our needs in every aspect of our lives, whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual. A Christian song from the 1990s says, "There is a God-shaped hole in all of us." This means that only God can fill and satisfy the cravings we have in our lives. We should not be content with the temporary satisfaction that the world offers. Instead, we should hunger for more of God. He wants us to seek Him, to marvel at His glory. The enemy seeks to satisfy himself with greed and pride, and he tempts us to do the same.

Habakkuk 1:1-17, Isaiah 58:9 (a), Isaiah 65:24, Jeremiah 33:3, Isaiah 40:13

In the first four verses of the book of Habakkuk, the prophet complains to God about the destruction and terror ruling the hearts of the Israelites amidst the Assyrians and the future Babylonian captivity. He asks if God can intervene. The Lord answers him in the following seven verses, showing that He hears and answers our prayers. God tells Habakkuk that the Assyrians will be held guilty for their treacherous ways because their "strength is their god".God brought judgment to Israel through the Assyrians and the Babylonians to make them realize that they needed Him more than ever, for He Himself was their King.Sometimes, we find ourselves in trials and pray fervently for a change in our circumstances. In such moments, we must remember that God's timing is different from ours. These trials, although difficult, serve a purpose. They strengthen our perseverance, and as it is written, "knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance" (Romans 5:3(a)).Therefore, take heart and continue to pray, for God will soon answer.

This book is about a prophet named Habakkuk who was a professional in the Book of the Law. Habakkuk was among the 12 minor prophets and lived during the reign of the evil king Jehoiakim. At that time, the Babylonians had invaded the land and taken control of it. Habakkuk feared that God's people would lose the land that God had bestowed upon them. He observed the situation and prayed to God, the only one who could restore the land.

Nahum 3:1-19, Psalm 73:17-19

In Chapter 2, it was revealed that God would bring destruction upon the Assyrians, and He did. The Assyrians had led God's children astray, and so they were punished. This principle holds true today as well. If anyone tries to harm one of God's children, He will seek vengeance on their behalf at the right time and in the right way. No sin goes unpunished.If someone is spreading lies about you, it's important to remember that God sees everything and will take action when the time is right. It is our duty to pray for our enemies and forgive them, but we should not take matters into our own hands. Ultimately, it is God who will be the judge.

Nahum 2:1-13, Romans 8:13 and Psalm 41:11

So, God has the upper hand on things that happen in our lives. He has done this in the past, and he does it again today.

The Lord brought judgment to Israel through the Assyrians, but God took them off the Land by the Babylonians, another enemy of God's children.

Today, I would like to remind you that God is for us, His children, who have accepted His son Jesus, and He is for His people in Israel, His chosen nation. As it says in Romans, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" No one knows how to judge our enemies like God. He will bend their needs.

Today, I encourage you to pray for Israel and for yourself, knowing that God will not allow our enemies to triumph over us, Psalm 41:11. He is just, and at the right time, he will judge our enemies.

Nahum 1:1-15, Isaiah 52:7

The Lord will judge both his people and his enemies. He will not allow the enemy to add more pain to his children by trying to prolong their suffering through evil means. God has the final say on when judgment needs to be stopped in our lives. We can take comfort in the fact that no harm can overtake us, and no sin is too great for the Lord to forgive. The enemy may cause turmoil but cannot separate us from God. While God may allow hardships in our lives, they will not persist forever; they have an end date. Therefore, God uses difficult times to purify us and bring us out better and stronger than before. God desires our return so that sin does not permanently separate us from Him. He has provided a way for us to be reconciled with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ, the King. Through Jesus Christ, our sins can be eradicated.

The name Nahum means "comfort," and scholars debate his origin. Some suggest he hailed from Elkesh, which later became Elcesi in southern Judah. Others propose he was from Capernaum, a village near the Sea of Galilee, which literally translates to "village of Nahum."The book of Nahum describes the invasion of the Assyrians over Israel and Judah. This invasion is believed to have occurred 100-150 years after Jonah had gone to Nineveh to preach to them about repentance. It is said that the Ninevites did repent at that time, but years later they returned to their evil ways and conquered Israel. The Assyrians were known for their cruelty, and this invasion happened during the reign of King Manasseh, who did evil things in the eyes of the Lord. The Ninevites encouraged the people of God to practice idolatry and turned their backs on God. However, God soon brought judgment to the Assyrians by bringing the Babylonians to dominate Israel.

Micah 7:1-20

In the final chapter of Micah, he reveals his trust in God despite their struggles with famine, bribery among princes and judges, and even conflicts among relatives. Micah knew that God would show compassion and provide for them once again. Our God is like no other, who restores and replenishes, provides for us, and takes us out of our sufferings. He promises to take us out of our valleys and showcase His greatness to others. God made a covenant with Abraham, our forefather, that He would bless him and multiply his descendants, and that all families of the earth would be blessed through him. If you're experiencing difficult times, trust in God. He never abandons His children, but instead pulls them out of darkness and blesses them with a new perspective on life.For "who is like Yahweh?

Micah 6:1-16, Numbers 22-24, 1 John 1:9

In this chapter of Micah, the author presents a scene where people stand before God in a trial. Despite their many sins, they still hold onto hope. However, God reveals to them the consequences of their actions, showing them why they will lose if they don't repent. Just like them, we all sin on a daily basis. Yet, God's desire is for his children to experience the transformative power of repentance, to surrender to him and ask for forgiveness, offering a path to redemption and renewal.

God's love for his children is shown in the story of Balaam. He protected his children from being cursed because of his immense love for them. His love is so great that He sent His son to die on the cross for all our sins. This is the only way we can be reconciled with the Father.

So, if you turn to God today, you will experience His love and protection. He loves all his chosen people, the Israelites or Gentiles, who come to Him and ask for forgiveness. Once forgiven, his protection and guidance will be forever.

Micah 5: 1-15, Matthew 2:5-6, Revelation 22:13, John 17:5 and 24, Philippians 2:10-11.

In this passage, the prophet Micah reveals the birthplace of the world's King, Messiah, and Savior. Bethlehem may have been a small town in Judah, but the Lord brought forth our deliverer from it. God values every individual and every place, regardless of their size or significance. He has the power to lift people out of poverty and make them prosperous and well-known. Many famous people who may not have known Jesus as their savior have still experienced God's protection and blessings in their lives. If God can do this for them, just imagine what he can do for his children who walk uprightly with him. Jesus is a perfect example of how victorious we can be when we walk with God, Him, and the Holy Spirit - the Trinity. So, if you come from a small town and are struggling with poverty, take heart. You too can achieve greatness if you choose to walk uprightly with God.

Micah 4:1-12 and Isaiah 2:1-3

In this chapter, Micah talks about both past and future events. He mentions the Millennial reign of Christ as well as the time when the people were in captivity. During Micah's time, Isaiah was also a prophet to God's people, and they both prophesized about the same things in their books. It is interesting to note that sometimes the Lord speaks to two people about the same things, and they receive confirmation from each other. We are united to God by one Spirit, and He speaks to each one of us so that we can be in sync with Him.

Micah 3:1-12, Numbers 26:25, 1 Corinthians 14:3, Jeremiah 26:17-19.

Judah and Samaria's kings and prophets were doing and prophetizing the wrong things to the people. We are to follow our leaders, but we must decide what to do if these leaders' hearts are far from God. Leaders such as prophets should "edify, exhort and encourage and bring consolation to the people, in the word in 1 Corinthians 14:3. The kings and prophets of Judah and Samaria were leading their people astray by giving them false guidance and prophecies. Although we are supposed to follow our leaders, we should be cautious when their hearts are not aligned with God's will. As per 1 Timothy 2:1-4. The verse says, "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness". We must pray for our leaders to ensure that we can lead peaceful lives.

God's hierarchy involves leaders and authority figures, followed by pastors, prophets, and lastly, us. We must always strive to follow God's path by living in His presence through the Holy Spirit. This way, we can obey our leaders and do what is good in the eyes of God.

We are to constantly live in God's sight through the indwelling of His Spirit in us as part of the new covenant that we follow and obey what is good in God's sight expressed to us by our leaders.

Micah 2:1-13, Exodus 20:17, Philippians 4:19

The Lord does not want us to plan or plot sinful actions, as it is a terrible thing to do. When we do this, we are reacting negatively to someone's behavior towards us or even coveting their possessions. Even if we have not been offended, we may feel the urge to covet what our neighbor has, and we might start planning how we can take it from the comfort of our own bed. However, covetousness is the gravest sin, which is considered idolatry in the New Testament (Colossians 3:5), and even worse in 1 Corinthians 6:10: "It can exclude us from heaven" as we will not "... inherit the Kingdom of God". Therefore, let us stop being envious of other people's blessings and start being thankful for what God has blessed us with. We should appreciate every bit of it and be content with what we have.

Micah 1:1-16, 1 Peter 4:17

In the first chapter of Micah, God judged the people of Israel and Jerusalem, both in the north and the south kingdoms. The judgment came in the form of an invasion by the Assyrians in 722 BC. As a result, the Assyrians took over the land, and the people who were not expelled from the land were called Samaritans.God brought judgment on his people through the Assyrians as a way of disciplining them. However, he also brought judgment to the Assyrians themselves because of their arrogance. We should remember that when God disciplines us, it is for our own good, and ultimately, it is better than his rejection.

In this book, we will explore how the prophet Micah prophesied about Samaria and Jerusalem and how the evil kings oppressed the people. As a result, the judgment of God was upon them through the invasion of the Assyrians. The book also talks about two other important points, namely the millennial reign of Christ and the birthplace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Micah wrote this book while he was living in the countryside of Moresheth Gath, which is about 25 miles southwest of Jerusalem. He was a contemporary prophet alongside Isaiah and Hosea. According to Micah's prophecies in 4:3-4, the land will be at peace and secure during Christ's millennial reign. Additionally, Jesus' birthplace was foretold and it came to pass, exactly as prophesied about 700 years earlier.

Jonah 4:1-11, Luke 15:7

May you have time to reflect today on Jesus's sacrifice on the cross. It is Good Friday, a day when he gave his life for sinners like us.

In today's reading of Jonah, we find a Jonah who was very upset about the forgiveness God extended to the Ninevites. He knew God was and is a compassionate father and does not want anyone to perish.

The Ninevites were cruel people, just as we are today. Still, God brought hope and salvation to them through Jonah, which Jonah did not like because he knew they were perverse and evil people who deserved death, but God here showed his compassion for them as a gentile nation, so there is salvation for Jews and us wicked gentiles.

On a day such as this, Christ died on the cross for all humanity for all the 8. plus billion people in the world, and so he did then with the Ninevites to save over 120,000 people and flocks.

Today, extend grace to your enemies, for it might be the person God may use to bring even more people to salvation. God's plans are great, just as he is Great.

Jonah 3:1-10, Genesis 19:25, Hebrew 4:12

The people of Nineveh, from the greatest (their king) to the least of them, believed in Jonah's message.

The word of God is "active and sharper than any two-edged sword," as it stays in Hebrew 4:12. This means it can change the direction of a person's life and even nations, as we see here in Jonah chapter 3, where the nation of Nineveh repented. The people believed in Jonah's message sent by God to them, and the Lord saved them. He relented from the harm and destruction he was going to bring to them.

When we allow God to use us to deliver a message to someone, it is not our words that change that person, but God's substance and active word that can change that person. We are to speak His truth, for we never know who is actively listening, analyzing in their heart, and is determined to change. So, today, let us tell his truth, and He will do the rest of convicting people through his word.

Jonah 2:1-10, 1 John 1:9, Matthew 12:40, Proverbs 28:13, Psalm 86:5

The Lord is gracious with us. He does not use force for us to ask for forgiveness, but with his gentleness, he reminds us of a time when we had a peaceful and close relationship with him to bring our hearts back into repentance.

I encourage you to ask God for forgiveness, no matter where you are physically located. If you are alive today, you have a chance to reconcile with the Father. He is always ready to hear our repentant hearts.

Jonah was in this big fish or whale for three days and three nights and was submerged in water and debris of the sea. In his moment of distress, Jonah asked God to forgive him, and God heard his cry for help. So, it is with us today. God is not far away; he is right here with us. We do everything in his presence while living on this earth, for nothing is hidden from him.

Ask God for forgiveness today; he will reconcile your life and change your trajectory completely.

Jonah 1:1-17, Luke 8:24, Matthew 12:40

Jonah wanted to hide from God, but we can't hide from God's presence, for He is everywhere. Jonah thought that by going in a different direction, God would excuse him from going to Nineveh. But God had other plans, and He was seeking Jonah's repentance for his reluctant attitude.

During Jonah's reconciliation with God, God sent a great storm, but Jonah slept on the ship's hold. Perhaps there, Jonah asked for forgiveness, but the storm continued. Then, the sailors noticed that their gods were not helping in the outcry, and they threw lots. It felt to Jonah the true living God was causing the storm. In the process, the sailors were saved from their storm and recognized the true God.

In order for the storm to stop, the sailors threw Jonah outboard, and a great whale swallowed him. Jonah was there three days and three nights. Jonah perhaps had asked for forgiveness from God on the boat while he was asleep, for God did not allow Jonah to perish once thrown overboard. So, as the word says, "...not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 This includes Gentiles, and that's why God sent us Jesus; thus, in this instance, God saved Jonah and the sailors.

2 Peter 3:9, Romans 1:16 and Jonah 4:11

In this book of Jonah, God shows his most significant compassion towards unbelievers and even to other nations regarded as His enemies. Jesus is the bridge that brings salvation today. Back then, it was through sacrifices and by priests and prophets to get his word of salvation. God is not slow about Jesus' second coming, but He desires all to be saved.

We can't hide from God's presence, for He is omnipresent, meaning he is everywhere. In this book, Jonah tries to hide from God, but God is with him the whole time; he is in Jonah's next move. So, is God with us now? Yes, he is, and we can't hide from his presence. As it's stated in this verse in Psalm 139:7-12: "Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there, your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast".

Summarizing God's redemption opportunity is for all people of the earth, first to the Jews and then to all Gentiles like the Nineveh people. And all our sins are laid bare before our God as stated in Hebrews 4:13, for He is everywhere.

Obadiah 1:1-10, 15-18 and 2 Chronicles 20:1-27 (praise led battle).

In this case, the Lord sent Obadiah to prophesy against Edom—the Edomites, descendants of Esau, Jacob's brother. Because of their pride the Lord brought this prophecy to cut them off forever because of the pride they had in their land and wisdom.

Proverbs 16:5 says, "The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished." Thus, the Lord really did not like their attitude, for God was the one who provided them with their land and wisdom.

This applies to us in the sense that we are to be humble people. Nothing we have comes to us from our own doing, but it comes from God's hand. No earthly wisdom or material possessions can be obtained if they are not freely given by God. God is the provider of all.

Amos 9:1-4, Deuteronomy 28:15, Leviticus 26:23-25a

In this final book of Amos, the Lord showed his way of dealing with the sins of his people, Israel, and how we can find forgiveness in the person of Christ Jesus under the new covenant.

The people of Israel tended to hide from God, but there is no place on earth where we can escape God's presence, for he is Omnipresent.

As Gentiles and Jews, we can find salvation and redemption for our sins in Jesus, for Jesus is the God who has died for sinful people like us. He is our redeemer and our refuge. We can only escape God's wrath if we are under his umbrella. Ask God to forgive your sins today to become the new person God intended you to be from the beginning of times.

Amos 8:1-14, Hebrew 6:10, 4:12, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, Matthew 4:4, Luke 19:40, Romans 1:20

We ought to profess the word of God, so if not, "The stones will cry out," as it says in Luke. In this chapter of Amos, the people of God were going to go into a dry season, a season of not hearing the word of God being preached, and thus, Amos prophetizes that to God's people. In this instance, it is as if we go through a dry season or enter into a time in the wilderness when everything seems dark and dry in our lives, but we ought to crave the word of God even more in this moment for it to quench our thirst.

The word of God is "alive and active," as it says in Hebrews. It performs work that we need to be made aware of. It always redirects our lives and stops us from sinning. For this reason, we are to share His word with unbelievers at all costs so that they can revive, become new in God, and change their ways of living. I encourage you (and me) to profess his truth with someone today or during this week.

Amos 7:1-17, James 5:16-17 and Genesis 18:32

As the title gives away, a prayer of a simple yet righteous person avails much. In this chapter, Amos prayed to God for compassion towards the people of Israel twice, and the Lord changed his mind twice. A straightforward prayer can turn away the wrath of God in a person or land in this case. So, don't stop praying for a person who does not follow God now, but continue to pray fervently, for God hears the prayers of his chosen.

Amos was a regular and ordinary "Joe" like you, and thus, he continued to do his daily labor and remained close to God's heart. As regular people of faith, we have immediate access to the Father. We live in his presence daily, and we ought to remember this in our daily walk on this earth. If we live according to his word, we should not fear His wrath, for as his children, he will protect us.

Amos 6:1-6, Matthew 11:28-29 and Revelation 14:13

In chapter 6 of Amos, the people of Israel relied on their strength to live their lives. They trusted in the high mountain of Samaria to protect them from attacks from their foes. Their self-reliance led them to believe that they would not face the day of calamity that Amos prophesied to them. They were so sure in their peace that they had a lot of self-love, even to the point of drinking from the sacrificial bowl, anointing themselves with the finest of oils, and making music as David did.

In our world today, we may find ourselves doing the same things. We may rely on our money, our education, and even our health to live our lives without acknowledging or giving thanks to the creator or maker of our lives. Our trust should be in him, for he has the authority and power to give and take away.

Work hard for God's kingdom today to find eternal rest in heaven.

Amos 5:1-27 and Matthew 5:23-24

The Israelites would be judged by their wrongdoing; even so, their offerings did not mean anything to God, for their hearts were not in it.

So, it is the same with us today. We ought to reconcile with God with a sincere heart, but if we have offended a brother, we ought to first forgive them and then come to God to receive with him; in today's world, we would bring our hearts to God for Him to mend it, accept us and forgive us.

Today, ask God to search your heart to see if you have offended someone you might not have forgiven. Forgive them, and then come to God to restore your heart and relationship with him.

Amos 4:1-13 and Psalm 22:12

The Lord here showed his people the need for repentance and how he was slow to pass judgment on them.

People were oppressing the poor and bringing sacrifices that did not satisfy God. For their hearts were far from God, and thus, they would bring sacrifices that were leavened, and it was an act of mockery before God.

When we repent, God reroutes our lives. He picks us up where we left off in our walk with him and guides us on a new trajectory, where the final goal is our viewing of him for eternity.

Amos 3:1-15, Exodus 22:10-13, and Isaiah 43: 1-4, 7,10-11, 13,15, 21-22, 24-25, 27.

In these verses, God shows his love for Israel. He wanted them to represent him among the nations.

God declared Israel's prophecies through prophets before they occurred so the people would be warned and remember his love. In some situations, they did not believe in the prophet, and God allowed calamity to strike them.

But God displayed his love of Israel through his protection from attacks and invasions from other lands; He chose them above all the different people and lands. We, as Gentiles, are chosen, too, if we accept the love of Christ Jesus in our hearts.

Amos 2:1-16, 1 Corithians 3:13-15, Number 6

We ought to remain firm with our beliefs even if the culture around us presses us to change according to their beliefs.

The people in the time of Amos committed sins, and we are not too far off from committing them, but the light of God has come to this world to show us a better way of living through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

As believers, it is easy to be persuaded by the culture, but we must remain solid and firm with the light we have found in the knowledge of Jesus and live the life he wants us to live. I encourage you to stay faithful, for he will test our fruits, and let those fruits not be consumed, for he will reward us accordingly.

Amos 1-15, 2 Kings 16:9, Genesis 32-33

1 So the Lord used a common man like Amos to deliver a message to the nations around Judah and Israel and also to these two nations.

God can use ordinary people, like you and me, to do astonishing things if we let him. He is faithful to his children who have a willing and repentant heart. When we let him, he polishes and transforms us to be used powerfully for his glory.

Just as he used Amos, God has assigned people in our lives for us to be his representation, him in us. So, today, let him use you and be guided by him to do tremendous things in this world.

Seven points about the book of Amos:

His name is spelled with an 'S' at the end, not to be confused with Amoz with a 'Z,' who was the father of Isaiah (Isaiah 1:1).
Amos means: Burden or Burden Bearer
He prophesied about the coming judgment of Israel and the surrounding nations, which is the reason for the meaning of his name.
Amos was a regular man. He used an ancient Hebrew (sheepbreeder) word to describe himself because he might have wanted to emphasize that he was a regular, common man used by God to bring a message to Israel and the surrounding nations. It's believed that he did not want to be confused as a symbolic shepherd (guide) but a true, regular human God used to do great things, as the disciples did.
Amos was from Tekoa, about ten miles from Jerusalem. He delivered his message in Bethel, the most southern city of Israel and not too far from Tekoa.
His ministry was around 760 BC and 750BC
When he was a prophet, Israel was divided into two nations for over 150 years—Judah to the south and Israel to the north.

Joel 3: 1-21, Numbers 25:1-3

The Lord all mighty is a God of judgment who avenges on behalf of his children, for they have suffered greatly.

God will judge the people who were against his children in Israel and also his adopted children, the church.

This time of judgment is coming, and the church should wait attentively. It might take a while, but it will happen. God's children fight a battle between good and evil daily, but in the end, we will reign victorious, for the Lord will defend us.

Joel 2: 12-13, 28 and Romans 2:4, Acts 2

The Lord spoke to Joel about an invasion or battle that would have happened had the people of Judah not repented with their complete hearts. We ought to repent sincerely so that God's rich compassion abounds in us freely. Don't repent with lip service but from within. God is so compassionate that his kindness leads us to repentance, as it says in Romans.

Joel predicted the outpouring of God's Spirit on mankind, and it was fulfilled in Acts, in the upper room. So, not just the special people with a specific duty like David or a priest, but all who came to him. Thus, if you desire to learn and pray more to God, you can have his Spirit ready to help you do these things. He is gracious to us, for he provided a Helper and Counselor to help us walk this life.

Joel 1:1-20

In this first chapter, Joel presents an unprecedented event in the existence of Judah. We see how the land was devastated by locusts and how this plague devoured the fruits of the fields.

This devastation impeded the people of Judah from bringing an offering to the Lord's house and even feeding their flocks.

In this event, Joel redirected the people and the priests to cry out to God so that this devastation could stop.

In our days, we go through dry seasons, which is called wilderness. When we are going through it, we don't recognize it as such until we see it or admit God can't heal or refresh our wells. So, our existence depends on him, for we are frail and weak.

Minor prophet Joel

Joel's name means The Lord is God.

It was written around the mid-ninth century BC.

It was written to guide back the Israelites to prayer and fasting. It is believed it was written in the pre-exilic era, and the prophet Elijah was alive.

In the first chapter, we will see what prevented the Israelis from bringing an offering to God.

This book of Joel has a futuristic essence as well. It talks about the eschatological day of the Lord and how God will pour out blessings on the repeated ones and judgment on the unrepented.

Hosea 14: 1-9, Galatians 5:22-23

The Lord wants us to turn to him so that he can restore us and allow us to produce fruit and fruit that is as luxuriant as he is.

We have a God-shaped hole in all of us, a sanctuary that we must guard, grow, and protect but also nourish so it can expand in the knowledge of God.

In this chapter, God showed Israel what they would have in him if they returned to him, and Israel also recognized that God's ways are better than the ways they were living.

Hosea 13, 1 Corinthians 15:54-58

The people of Israel, Ephraim, and Samaria, the northern kingdom, were disobedient, but God once again wanted them to turn from their evil ways and recognize him for all that he had done for them in their wilderness.

God is the only one that can satisfy us to our core. We all have a sanctuary in our hearts that only God can fulfill. It is his dwelling place in our life.

In God, we must recognize that there is no power in death or hell, for Jesus conquered it all at the cross for us. We can be at our lowest; if we call upon him, he will rescue us and satisfy our thirst.

Hosea 12:1-6, Genesis 32:24-30 and Isaiah 55:8-9

So, just like Jacob, we tend to be dishonest and even crafty to get our way. But the Lord wants to trust the process even if it's taking forever in our own eyes.

Jacob fought for a blessing, and he got it. So, it should be with us to fight life until we see that blessing God has ordained for us.

God may redirect our lives so we don't break in the process. He wants our complete trust. At age 45 or 50, it is not considered too old for God to fulfill his promises to us: "For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside" Psalm 84:10.

Hosea 11, Matthew 2:14-15, Romans 8:38-29

The Love of God is accessible to all humans.

He draws near to us, for no man can come to him unless he draws near to him. He pursues us with his great Love.

I encourage you today to draw near to Him, for he desires to guide your life and take it to the next level.

He is faithful in providing a clear path to your next plan or desire. We just need to hold onto him tightly. He has us held tightly or fastened in his cords of Love, but as he keeps us close to him, he also lets us breathe freely. He does not force; He is a gentleman. He wants our relationship with him to grow and solidify, but he longs the most for our complete dependence to be set solely on him.

Hosea 10, John 15:1-3

The Lord intends for us to walk side by side with him as our lives go from season to season; for example, when we are starting a project, we want God to bless it, and later, when the business is prosperous, we walk away from God for we think we have the formula to continue to prosper our businesses or projects. But God sees that project's future and desires us to turn to him even though our project is thriving. A project goes from starting to growing, and in all those steps, God wants to be the center of us, for he blesses us with wisdom and visions to excel in our projects. So, as your business grows, grow with God.

Hosea 9:1-17, 2 Kings 2:1, Hebrews 8:12 and 10:16-17

We are to be thankful for the new covenant that we are living in. Unlike the Israelites who lived in the Old Testament, they had to follow the law, and there are around 613 laws; imagine who can follow them. But in this text of Hosea chapter 9, the people of Israel, specifically Ephraim, wanted and wandered to worship other gods because they were going through a happy and prosperous moment, and so they thought God was not going to see or mind their evil deeds of serving other gods. In this circumstance, Hosea prayed that the women would be barren and dry their chests so that they wouldn't multiply and that new children would see or follow their fathers' actions.

So, today, I encourage you to move to the light, where God dwells, for he desires to guide your steps and the plans you put into his care. He is the true God we must follow, for all other gods are not alive as He is.

Hose 8 1-14, Matthew 22:37-39, 1 Corinthians 2:14

As humans, we are weak and easily maneuver. If we allow the things we see to guide us, they will break us. For what we don't see has greater power, for they have an eternal reward, just as it says in 2 Corinthians 4:18: "We look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal". Things we build as our god and worship as idols will derail us to the point that we don't recognize ourselves. And as we give more power to those idols, our energy to follow after God will diminish.

So, today, I encourage you that if you have an idol that is breaking your relationship with God, come to God broken and humble and submit your worries, concerns, and guilt to God, for he desires to love on you and redirect your life.

Hosea 7:1-16, 1 Corinthians 7:9 Jeremiah 31:34

Our Heavenly Father longs for us to have a personal relationship with him, meaning a vertical relationship, before we have a horizontal relationship with men.

Israel, like us today, desired to do their own thing, but God wants us to talk with Him so he can guide us on the right path. We often see the wrongdoing of Israel and say: wait, they did not see how God rescued them time after time, so why don't they return to Him?" So it is the same with us today. We think God doesn't desire a relationship with us after sinning, but he passionately wants our hearts to be healed and renewed so we can walk on this earth safely. The people of Israel committed many sins like us today. Still, he has given and demonstrated his grace (love) to us through Christ so that we would be cleaned of our sins so that we gladly would walk and talk to him graciously and in awe of his power and divine authority to save and rescue us from our route to evil.

Hosea 6: 1-11, Matthew 9:13, 12:7, 10:28 and Romans 12:1

The Lord desires a submissive heart that surrenders to Him. He does not delight in the sacrifice that we could give him but only in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. The sacrifice of Christ broke the veil, allowing us to have intimate and direct access to the Father.

Romans 12:1 says, "to preset your bodies a living and holy sacrifice...which is your spiritual service of worship." It means we should have our hearts in the right place and serve God with them. He wants all of us, not just what we can do with our hands and body but with our inner being, spirit, and heart that dwells in us.

I encourage you to reel back to God today, for he is our rock, fortress, shield, and solid ground. He wants our heart and all our being.

Hosea 5: 1,11,15

The Lord desired the people of Judah and Israel to seek after him and not after men, For men can not heal our spiritual wounds.

God desires for us to go to him first when we find ourselves in trouble or discouraged instead of finding an easy remedy at the suggestion of other people. God is the only one who can restore a weak heart who feels lonely and discouraged. Also, he is the only one who can forgive our sins.

Some leaders may misguide us, but God is faithful. Even in our distant relationship with Him, he lovingly asks us to return to him and to seek him with all our hearts, for he is the only one who can renew us. He has provided his word so we can learn more about him and have an intimate relationship with him instead of following leaders who will lead us astray.

Today, trust God and seek his face.

Hosea 4: 1-19, Mark 2:21-22 and 1 King 12:31

The people of Israel polluted themselves with idols that drove them to sin even more deeply than ever before.

In today's world, we have many facilities to help us increase our knowledge of God, but the world's desires and loftiness cause us to sin evermore.

It is essential to read God's word regularly, for it prevents us from seeking after things that will put a halt or separation on our relationship with God.

Hosea 3:1-5, Deuteronomy 24:1, Jeremiah 30:9

God wants us to know that He loves us with all His heart. He shows time after time that he would go the extra mile to seek us. Hosea represents how God pursues us even though we go in the opposite direction. He desires us until he finds us and repurchases us. He repurchased us with the sacrifice of Jesus at the cross. He is a saving, rescuer, and loving God willing to take the extra step for us.

Gomer here represents the people of Israel and us who wander off wishing to find love like God's in other people, but only God can provide us with this solid and permanent love. He seeks after us until we are found.

Hosea 2, 1 Samuel 15:22 and John 15:15

The Lord wants to pursue us with his loving-kindness. He pursued Gomer, Israel, and also us if we allow him. He is gentle and wants us to see that his ways are better to seek than ours.

Israel loved other gods, but when he decided to bring them back into a relationship with him, he did not shy away; he pursued them as it says in the words, "allure her." He technically loved them even when they did not see his love. He puts a hedge of protection around us and makes us invisible to the things and the people who would intentionally harm us.

Seek his love, for he is at the door knocking and waiting for our answer.

Hosea 1:1-11 Romans 9:15

In this book, we see the redemptive work of God. You see Israel's kingdom on the north, and Judah's on the south. God used Hosea's story to show his people that "he has mercy upon whom he has mercy."(Rom 9:15) Why? Because Israel was bottomless in idolatry at the time of Hosea. They put other gods first.

And so, through Hosea, God showed his people how they were prostitutes by serving other gods before him. I bet it was hard for Hosea to take on this task of marrying a prostitute, but God showed his love for his people by redeeming them and us.

We tend to go our way when we think our ways are better, but God is always watching to see when we will give up on our stubborn hearts and follow only Him. It's easy to say but hard to do, but if we are submissive enough, God will show us that his favor is way better than anything this world can offer.

Daniel 12:1, 3-4,6,8-9,11-13

In this final chapter of the book of Daniel, God revealed to Daniel many things that will happen in the future.

God comforted Daniel by telling him not to worry until that time came and to live his life one day at a time (v9).

Now, since we know what is to come and have the whole scriptures at our disposal, we need to use it to share with other people how lavishly comforting his word truly is so that we may shine brightly when God's truth is shared.

This day, take time to share God's truth with someone you come in contact with and do not be afraid of the things that are to come to this world, for God's children will be saved from his wrath coming to this world.

Daniel 11: 1-4, 37-39,45 John 16:33

As children of God, we ought to remain encouraged, for God gave His son to die on the cross for us to have hope in the future, in his second coming, and that is before the antichrist starts ruling the earth. We are to remain tranquil but alert, for we don't know the day or the hour of His coming but not have fear of the antichrist.

Today, I encourage you to trust God more and let fear outside, for it shouldn't have a grip on your heart. God loves his children very much and wants us to love Him back, for He gave the ultimate sacrifice for our rescue, and that is Jesus. Jesus has redeemed us by his cross sacrifice, which is true if you are His follower. So, today, stay encouraged and hopeful of His coming, for he will deliver us from God's wrath and the enemy's evil.

Daniel 10: 1-3, 5-8,11-13, 18

Daniel was consecrated to God. His heart was set on God, and for that reason, God revealed to him many visions.

At the time of this vision, Daniel was fasting for three weeks, for the armies of satan were troubling him(the Persian army). But God sent help to Daniel to understand God's vision for him that pertained to "the days yet future". This vision was about the end times.

The angelic being God sent to Daniel gave him strength, and Daniel could withstand his presence. When we are torn or lack strength, God sends help for us to sustain our ground at the right time, as he did with Daniel here. Daniel saw an angelic being and fell to the ground. Imagine seeing Jesus face to face, but men can't see God, the Father, and live. Keep praying that God will help and strengthen you at the time of your need.

Daniel 9:1-3, 8,22-27 Isaiah 9:6, Luke 1:31-33, 21:24

When we come to God with great surrender, he listens. Daniel wanted to know about the vision Jeremiah had about the 70 years. And so he prayed with a surrendered heart, fasting, sackcloth, and ashes to hear a revelation from God about these 70 years or weeks.

Daniel knew that God would listen if he came to God with a humble and sincere heart. And so God did and sent Gabriel to explain those years to Daniel. What God can do when we pray is genuinely unique. Time in prayer is divine. Jesus opened the door for us to pray to God directly in His name. So, we have access now to the Father; what an honor it is that we can come and ask God to reveal deep things and intervene on behalf of other people as Daniel did. God gave him more details about this 70 years/weeks through Gabriel.

Let's pray and share the gospel with people, for we don't know when the final days of the 69 years/weeks will conclude.

Daniel 8:1-9 and 17

Daniel was entrusted with this vision of a near future in his time and a far future of the end of times in our future times.

Daniel was very loyal to God, and thus, this is the reason why God entrusted him with a vision such as this.

The end of times is a future time where evil will rule among the people of the earth. For this reason, we are to share the truth with as many as possible, for we don't know when we will depart from the world and evil start ruling among the people. People ought to know about the truth of Christ because he is the redeemer who can unite and reconcile us to the Father. Men seek better so-called administrators, and thus, in the future, they will allow the antichrist to rule because he would have a smooth talk and persuade many to follow him.

Take charge today and share the truth with someone. Love on people with the hope of Christ.

Daniel 7: 4-8, 17 and Ezequiel 5:20

The Lord entrusted Daniel with this vision and dream for what we have read in previous verses in Daniel; he was very loyal to God. The four beasts represent three kingdoms that already had their time in history and one that will flourish in the future: the Roman Empire with the coming of the antichrist. We must stand and share the truth with everyone we encounter, for we don't know when Christ will come and take his chosen away, and those who don't accept Christ will remain here being guided by the antichrist and its afoul dictatorship ruling. Let's be like Daniel and serve God and man with great humility, knowing God's saving grace = love is better than anything man and this world could ever give us.

Daniel 6: 1-3, 5,8-10, 13-26; 1 King 8:30

The Lord was faithful to Daniel because he depended on and served Him. God finds great delight in his children when they are obedient to Him. Daniel was devoted to God, and because of that, God gave him an "extraordinary spirit," meaning that people could see the hands of God in all that he did, whether at work or by being obedient to his prayer life and fellowship with the Father. Daniel represented God so well that even kings of the earth acknowledged the greatness of God and ordered all the people to worship Him. Daniel's fellowship with God is the same one we are to have with God, who is loyal to God and who lives according to his statutes for the world to see His greatness.

Daniel 5: 11, 25-28, 2 Kings 25:27-30, Jeremiah 52:31-34, 39:3, 13

When we remain faithful to God, he remains loyal to us. The first portion of 1 John 1:7 says, "But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the light," God will remain with us. He is a God of love, order, kindness, and insightfulness, and when we obey him and remain faithful to him, he gives us all of these attributes and more. For "No one can fathom his understanding? (Isaiah 40:28). In this chapter, Daniel represented God well; he had built an excellent reputation, and people recognized it. Let's remain faithful until the end, for he is faithful.

Daniel 4: 8, 10-16, 29-37, James 4:6, Proverbs 6:16-19, Psalm 1:3

The Lord spoke to King Nebuchadnezzar through a vision to prevent him from a fall; he just had to give God the glory for his kingdom's success and honor Him. He knew there was a greater power than his god Bel and all the other gods. But his pride prevented him from humbling himself and professing God as the reason for his success. God gave him a year to change after his vision and before his loss of reason by becoming like the beast of the fields, who eats grass, and his nails were like the birds' claws. At the end of 7 years, he learned his lesson, acknowledged God, and his reason returned. God blessed him with "surpassing greatness."

Daniel 3: 1, 7-8,12,16, 25,27 Romans 5:3,5, 12:1-2

When we face trials, we can firmly believe that God will help us. God delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego from getting burned; in fact, the Son of God was with them in the furnace. They resisted the opposition and obeyed God above all things with their bodies as "a living and holy sacrifice," as stated in Romans. It is easy to give up when we face trials, but God wants us to endure for his glory to shine through us. God has the power to stop any storm or opposition in our lives, but perhaps he decides to make us endure it to bring us better than before the storm.

Daniel 2: 1-2, 14-17, 32-33

When we have fellowship with God we can accomplish much. Daniel was determined to follow after God even though he was in another land where the king did not have the same faith as him. The king after Daniel interpreted his dream knew that Daniel's God was God above of gods, and Lord of kings. Daniel and his supported friends were promoted because they prayed to God and he responded to them. They had faith and obedience. Faith to know that only God could give them the interpretation and obedience to know the power of prayer, of an act they were accustomed to.

Daniel 1:1, 1:8-18, Exodus 20:2, Exodus 20:7, Matthew 24:15, Luke 8:22-25.

As it was prophesied God gave Nebuchadnezzar the power to besieged Jerusalem because of their idolatry and for not observing the sabbaths as a holy day.

Daniel is a great example as to why we should not defile ourselves with the world's norms. He obeyed the prompting of God to not eat the king's choice food but to eat vegetables and water and the result of that obedient step was phenomenal that to him and his friends that God gave them "knowledge and intelligence in every branch of literature and wisdom". God's ways bring great results.

In the book of Daniel we will see many things such as the deportation of the israelites from Judah into Babylon and among the deportated was Daniel and his friends. Daniel was very wise and served in the royal court. Daniel remained faithful when he was thrown onto the lion's den. And so were his friends when they were thrown onto the fiery furnace. Nebuchadnezzar trusted that Daniel could interpret his dream and also the writing on the wall. God trusted Daniel so much that he presented Daniel with one of the greatest prophecies and that was the 70 weeks prophecy. Stay tuned as we study the book of Daniel.

Ezekiel 48: 1-2, 35; Judges 18:17-20; Revelation 21:14

In this text God shows his faithfulness to his tribes because even though the clang or tribe of Dan were the first one who started idolatry God will bless them with a portion of the new land in the new millennium reigned by God.

God has many names as we know and in this text His name is Jehovah Shammah which means The Lord is Present.

Not only will the tribes have recognition on this new land of Israel but also the apostles will have a foundation named after each one of them.

Ezekiel 47: 1-6, 13, 22-23, Ezekiel 40:3

In this chapter an angelical man showed Ezekiel the deepest of the river that will flow from the temple of the Lord. Ezekiel at first was able to pass the river and the water would only reach his ankles, then his knees and then his loins, lower abdomen. You see as we dive deeper in God's word we go deeper and this creates a great understanding of God for he would reveal certain things uniquely to us.

Joseph was faithful to God until the end and thus he will be awarded with two portions of the land for his sons Ephraim and Manasseh.

In the millenial reign, aliens or foreigners will be treated equally as nationals. In other words no mistreatment or avoidance of legal inheritance.

Ezekiel 46:1,9, 12-14, 16-18 1 Corinthians 14:33

I believe that we ought to worship the Lord on Sundays for here it clearly says we are to worship on the Sabbath the 7th day.

As it states in Corithians God is not a God of confusion for thus he instructs Ezekiel on how the traffic should flow in the temple.

Then in verse 12 the Lord let us know that the prince he would put to govern the temple will have enough resources to offer a sacrifice to the Lord. He will give to his sons gifts from his inheritance and also to his servants but they must return it on the year of jubilee or liberty. Also, this prince will not seize or snatch the people's inheritance.

Ezekiel 45: 6-12 and 20

In this chapter God instructs Ezekiel how the land should be divided among the Israelites in the millennial time of God's reign. The measurements and portions should be balanced, for everything should be in order. At this time we should bring an offering for our simple/naive and erring sins for the Lord wants to cleanse us from all sins.

Ezekiel 44, John 9:31

In this chapter the Lord continues to show many things to Ezekiel about the future temple. He guides him by letting him know that He himself has entered through the gate of the east and that no one should enter through that gate. I see it as if when God enters a place or onto someone nothing else rules them or should be allowed in them. Continues by showing who should be his ministers and who should be of service in the temple. Only Levites from the Zadok family should and foreigners should serve outside his holy sanctuary. The priests should not wear garments that make them sweat, they should not drink wine, they need to cut or trim their hair, and can only marry virgins or widows of a priest. They will be God's inheritance and possession.

Ezekiel 43:3-7, Ezekiel 11:23, Exodus 13:21-22, Exodus 16:10, Exodus 19:9, 24:15-18.

The Lord showed his presence to Ezekiel perhaps as he experienced him when he was at the River of Chebar in chapters 10 and 11; but there Ezekiel saw a negative sense of God for it was there the glory of God came in judgement to eliminate the city. It is unknown if Ezekiel saw and felt the Shekinah glory of God or a cloud as God had revealed himself to the Israelites in the wilderness, to Moses and to other circumstances.

Ezekiel 42:13-14, Leviticus 16:23, 1 Corinthians 9:13-14

In this scripture of Ezekiel the Lord ordered for priests not to wear the same garments they wore in the holy place out in the outer place for it was a holy place. In our times, by the work of the cross, Jesus allows us to wear that garment in our secret place with the father. The place we use to be in communion with the Father and then go out to the world and represent him to the world. Also, in regards to pastors they are ought to live by the work, for they bring to us the holy word after they have eaten it. After they have gone to the holy place, as the priests did when they went to holy place and ate of the holy offerings.

Ezekiel 41:18-20 and John 12:13

The Lord's description on everything he does is very descriptive and also what he wants us to do. In these verses in Ezekiel he orders for cheribum to be carved with a man's face and a Lion's face, plus palm trees. In these symbols I can see Jesus represented. He was man and is a lion. Palm trees represent the victory we have as Christians over the enemies of our soul. Palm trees were used to adore Jesusas he entered triumphal into Jerusalem in a colt, the people recognized his deity and worship for he is the only that can save us from damnation.

Ezekiel 40

The Lord took Ezekiel on a vision of a temple. There are a few meaning to this vision for example as it is explained online by a commentary that this vision is a temple that was going to be built during Zerubbabel reigned, a temple for the millennial reign of Christ, a temple of worship of Christians todayor even a future and eternal reigned of God. (wikipedia).

I plainly believe that we are ought to take God's instructions and do whatever he asks of us to its perfection so that He can be glorified. Whether it is to do something simple or complicated for He will be glorified by our works.

Ezekiel 32:2-5, 9, 12, 21

The Lord went along with what was in the head of the prince Gog. He allowed Gog to form a great army to attack Israel but- God knew better, for he exterminated them in the field of Israel and showcased His strength there. With this war God brought back his people from all the nations where they have been scattered to see His might and power to destroy anyone that tries to destroy His land, Israel; and for Israel to adore Him for who he is, God.

Ezekiel 38: 8, 15-16 and 19-23

The Lord knows our future, he knows who is going to be against us for this reason He sent His son to save us from the future happenings. On this chapter of Ezekiel, the God let us know that the land of Israel will be once again prosperous and thus, many people will go there to live. However, the Lord also knows of a great and massive army that is going to be attacking His land and territory for that reason he will show his people and the world who really has the final say; by causing a great earthquake and confusing "Every man's sword will be against his brother" verse 21. For this is important to know the Lord Jesus now to save us from upcoming wars or catastrophes that we have no idea when they will happen.

Ezekiel 37:6,9, 26 & 28.

The Lord gave a vision to Ezekiel to revive a field full of bones. After the Lord put together all the bones the sinews that joint together the bones and the muscles and then also the skin were set on these bones as well. Each bone formed its respective person no ramdon bones were connected. The best part is when God asked Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones for them to have one flesh, for in the Hebrew spirit and breath are the same word; therefore this is the same breath God gave to Adam in the garden of Eden and it's still the same breath he gives to us today once we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Now, in the chapter God wanted to lay down how he will unite the people of the north Ephraim (Israel) and the south Judah to be one people, one country. So, thus he wants to do with us today, his children to be united as one church, one body.

2 Kings 3:18a and 22

"This is but a slight thing in the sight of the Lord;" Verse 18a

"They rose early in the morning, and the sun shone on the water, and the Moabites saw the water oppoiste them as red as blood." Verse 22.

The Lord can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, as it says Ephesians 3:20-21, Allow the Lord to let you see your mountains as a plain ground for he is strong and nothing is impossible for him as the scripture says.

Ezekiel 36:26. The Lord wants to give us a heart of flesh that can act obediently for His name's sake. We are not robots but we can do terrible things to ourselves and others. The Lord was going to rebuild his nation for His name's sake so that his name would be exalted and appreciated by his children and for all those who are not his children to see that we adore Him for He is a Holy God worthy of our praise.

Ezekiel 35:5-6, 10-12 The Lord was going to bring judgment to the Edom for their jealousy and animosity towards Israel, God's chosen land and people. They had a grudge against the Israelites that went back to Jacob and Esau's time. But God is the one who judges they once thought that because the land of Israel was desolated that God had stopped protecting the Israelites but not the case He was still protecting His chosen land for the Edomites who wanted to occupy the land. Let God judge and pray for Israel for its God's chosen land and people!

Ezequiel 34:3-6, 14-16, Matthew 18:12-13, Matthew 16:18, John 21:15-17 The Lord from way down when he was instructing his people mainly its leaders to feed the flocks but some were not doing it so. He wants us to be like Peter but also like Him for he fed the flock. He wants to nourish the sheep with heavenly food for man doesn't live by bread alone as its mentioned on Matthew 4:4

Ezequiel 33:12-16, 30-32, Matthew 15:8-9, Isaiah 29:13 We will be judged by the wicked things we do and die in our own life but if we repent from evil and start doing good we have found the forgiveness of the Father. Certainly what Jesus came to do to open away, for He is the only way to the Father. Let us not died in our sin knowing in our hearts the right way to live.

Ezequiel 32:10-12, 18-21, 23 The Lord showed the Egyptians that the only certain thing in this world is God. Since they trusted gods and had a proud full heart he brought them down with the cruelest soldiers of the world at that time the Babylonians. Also, their neighbors who supported them received their punishment. Don't be guided by pride and arrogance but be transparent to the only true God so he can establish your steps as it says in Proverbs 16:9.

Ezequiel 31:9, 10-14, Proverbs 16:18 it's important to stand and shine for all the great qualities God has made us but to use it with arrogance it's a different story. The Lord handed over both Egypt and Assyria to Babylon because of their pride. "Let's walk humbly with your God" as it says in Micah 6:8.

Ezekiel 30:8, 12, 19, 26. Isaiah 55:8. The Lord was against Egypt and all the nations who were on Egypt's side. When The Lord speaks something He makes it happen even if it's years later. We are ought be careful of who we join it for the may be an enemy of the Lord. Trust what God says always.

Ezekiel 29: 4, 9-10, 16,21 Romans 1:19-20 Men can try to take the recognition of creating something but God shows himself to the world through nature for he alone should receive the honor and glory not ourselves. The king of Egypt thought he was alone on earth to make the assumption that he made the Nile river but God punish him and his people for making such a assumption.

Ezekiel 28:2-4, 7, 16. Proverbs 16:18, James 4:6. The king of Tyre thought God had left the building but he was surely wrong. The Lord punished this king because he thought he can be a god because of his riches and because Israel at that time was destroyed and in captivity.

Ezekiel 27:10-12, 17, 30-36 The city of Tyre was destroyed because they wanted to be like Israel or its ability to trade goods, and now that they have fallen Tyre wanted to take the opportunity to be the center of the world. But God showed His people for a reason to show the world through them how they can walk side by side the Maker. The Israelites had or have this honor and now so us gentiles who walk with God by grace, The sacrifice of Jesus at the cross.

Ezekiel 26:2-3, 12, Exodus 20:5. The Lord God is a Jealous God because His children are the apple of his eye. He is sovereign and he is in the business of protecting his children no matter what. First the Jews then us the gentiles saved by grace.

Ezekiel 25: 3, 6, 10-11, 15-17 The Lord is a great Father He doesn't like when His children or his instructions are ridiculed.

Ezekiel 24:3, 15-17, 21. The Lord God told Ezekiel to tell the people a story to the captives in Babylon about the people left in Jerusalem and Judah and what's going to happen to them. It's key to obeying the Lord in our worship of Him for He is the only one who deserves our worship, not idols made by human hands.

Ezekiel 23:1-47b These to daughters of God that represent Samaria and Jerusalem prostituted themselves for they wanted to be like the other nations around them. God wants us to obey Him with what He has already shown to us and the treatment he can give His children who truly obey Him. He is a great Gid and desires obedience from us.

Ezekiel 22:1-12, Psalm 103:10 The Lord is merciful and doesn't punish us as our sins deserve. He is so merciful that he brought us the King of the universe to die for us while we were sinning as it says in Romans 5:8. He gives us a new day every day to turn around and to follow him just as he was to guide us daily.

Ezekiel 21:18-23, 27, Romans 11:36. The Lord gave permission and permitted the king of Babylon to attack Judah and Jerusalem. The people were going to be surprised by this attack but the king of Babylon will remind them or give the reason for the attack by telling them of their rebellious acts.

Ezekiel 20:27-34, 47-49 So, the people wanted to keep on worshipping in high places their made idols and even made cruel sacrifices for example sacrificing their children which never came through God's heart. The Lord wants to start a fire within us that will never extinguish through the Holy Spirit for can guide us to complete and true worship of God.

Ezekiel 19:10-14, Jeremiah 22:10-12. So, the Lord brought judgment to His land of Israel because of their many sins but in the end, He gave them a chance to thrive in another land for a little while after repositioning different king and land.

Ezekiel 18:1-3, 23, Exodus 20:4-6, Matthew 23:35-36, Romans 3:23. So, The Lord will not judge us based on the sins of our previous generation. He is an individualist God. He sees us on our daily go about doings and will judge us based on that. God is so fair that he wants the wicked to repent and be saved. " For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God".

Ezequiel 17:1-2, 13-15, 22-24 So try not to break an agreement that has been established to help you. Ask the Lord today if you're break any promises between you and Him. For His plans are better than ours.

Ezekiel 16:4-10, 38, 59-60,63. Jeremiah 9:6, Mark 14:24, 1 Corinthians 11:25, Genesis 1:27. The Lord is a Father of the covenant. He sent His Son to reunite us back to the Father. Jesus prayed for us in John 17:9 the ones that are selected to bring glory to him, that have been chosen by the Father. God is the God of feeling he doesn't want for us to oppress them but to bring to Him so that the Holy Spirit the Helper will counsel us.

Ezekiel 15:1-8, John 15:1-11 So the people of Israel at this time were compared to a vine. Since they were not producing any fruit they were going to be judged. A vine that doesn't produce fruit it can only be used to ignite a fire for it has no fruit. So, with us if we don't have fruit God cuts us off. For Jesus is the vine and He wants us to represent Him by abiding my in him and producing fruit to bring more people to the knowledge of him so that our lives fine meaning and purpose.

Ezekiel 14:6-8, 21. Put away any idol worship for it deters us from walking the customized life God has for us. He wants to make our lives unique for we all are different and by our differences, He makes us special and allows us to live a life unique for his glory by walking side by with Him.

Ezekiel 13:17-23 So for pieces of bread and barely false visionaries were misguiding the people of God in a chaotic moment in the lives of the people of Israel. They were taking full advantage of the situation to ruin the lives of the innocent and elevate the reign of the wicked.

Ezekiel 12:10-14, 21-28, Jeremiah 39:7. When The Lord makes a promise he does not delay but He brings it to pass at the right time. If it's not from it just does not happen.

Ezekiel 11:2, 16-21, Romans 8:5 & 12: 2. We wandered for a little while but when the Lord opens our eyes he brings us back to a renewed mind a new way of living and praising Him.

Ezekiel 10:6-7. The Lord is strong and faithful to walk with us when we feel inadequate, without strength or hope. He has put his life on the line for us so we must trust him that He will walk with us in difficult situations that are out of our control or level of influence.

Ezekiel 9:2, 4, 11, John 17:4 The Lord may be upset with what dishonoring people do but take heart all who are blessing His name by doing what is right.

Ezekiel 8: 2, 10-11, 14, 16, 18. The Father wants us to worship Him alone not the things he has created. He forgives us when we genuinely ask for forgiveness and turn 180 degrees. The people were using the Lord's house to worship created things instead of Him. He was really upset with this action from the people and even elders who were supposed to guide the people to worship the Father alone. Let us not carve or built idols in our life.

Ezekiel 7: 1-4, 13, 19-20, Ephesians 3:20. The Lord brought out the destruction mentioned to His people because of their sins. The silver and gold could not satisfy their hunger or change the situation of judgment brought to them for their many sins but today if you know Jesus as Lord and Savior and are rich you have the best of both worlds. For one without the other cannot fill the void that can only be satisfied with the love of the Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. Three in one, God.

Ezekiel 6:3-10, 12. So the Lord was going to eliminate his people living everywhere they worshipped idols: mountains, hills, ravines, and valleys. For the Lord is a jealous God and his Glory cannot and should not be shared.

Ezekiel 5:1-4, 8-12. The Lord is a God who walks with us even in our days when we have dethroned Him as our guide and we become self-sufficient or create an idol for ourselves. We can always run back to him when we realize how good we have it when we give Him the place in our hearts and minds He alone deserves.

Ezekiel 4:9-17 Ezekiel was to hold the many sins of the people of Israel and God allow him to lay on his side for 390 days but Jesus God's purest sacrifice caught our sin for 3 days. He held sin on him and destroyed sin at once and for all who desire to be his children and avoid sin for we can become a new creation in Christ.

Ezekiel 3:3-9, Proverbs 16:24, Psalm 18:28. Allow the sweetness of God's Word to be in your mouth every day to be preached to all people so we are not held accountable. Let's preach this sweet message to all who would listen.

Ezekiel 1-2, Romans 8:26-27 The Lord is victorious and able to lift us by His Spirit. With His Spirit, He straightens Ezekiel to do amazing things by proclaiming His word to his children who might not receive it. He can lift us by His Spirit and His Word. He is amazing at what he does through us when we think we cant preach or do his work nonetheless bring a message to people who are distant from Him

Ezekiel 1: 4-9, 22-24. Ezekiel's name represents God's strengthening and so the Lord is the only one who can strengthen us when we fall or are living a distant life away from the father or falling short from the true life he so desperately desires us to have.

Lamentations 5: 4-7, 15. So when we have no peace we have no rest because of the calamity we might be facing. The sin that started even before we arrived on this planet, done by our ancestors. We are part of God's perfect plan and puzzle. Be obedient to God's word even if others don't so that we can continue to be part of God's plan and puzzle.

Lamentations 4:13-16 The priests and the elders who were responsible for the people sinned and so the people got deviated and started sinning as well. The Lord wants us to be firm in our devotion to Him so that's why we must have a relationship with Him through the Mediator Christ Jesus, for if our leaders sin we stayed firm in our belief. We are all part of the puzzle we just need to know our part or our place in the puzzle.

Lamentations 3:35-38, 52-66 Jeremiah was put in a pit by his enemies full of water, and they even threw stones on him but the Lord said "Don't be afraid". This is the case we have to take to heart the Lord sees our struggles and wants us to be pulled out from the misery we put ourselves in most times. He calms us with his soothing voice. Allow God to hear your case today and pull you out.

Lamentations 2:8-9, 15, Psalm 48:2, Jeremiah 19:8. So the Lord brought the destruction foretold to Jerusalem and the people who passed by shook their heads in astonishment. If you feel that you are on the ground with your strength call out to the Father for mercy. He hears the brokenhearted.

Lamentations 1: 9,16, 21. So, the Lord brought destruction to His people because of their many sins. The enemy came and overtook the land and took her people captive. The enemy destroyed the land and took all the temple's instruments. Jeremiah wanted his enemies to experience what he was experiencing for the devastation was great. The enemies had won for brink of time but in the end of God's word the people of God wins.

Jeremiah 52:6-7, 11, 13, 16, 18-19, 30. This is how the people of God were taken into captivity by the Babylonians. The Babylonians took all the valuable things made of pure gold and silver and also burned all the important buildings and so the temple. May you have felt strong this year and are appreciative of what the Lord has allowed you to withstand with all that's going on in the world. May this upcoming new year be the year to accomplish all your resolutions and remain faithful and true to the calling of your life in God's eyes. For he never leaves us. Jeremiah 51: 6-8, 11, 15, 35-37. So, the Lord brought the punishment Babylon deserved for they destroyed the Lord's temple, destroyed many nations, and worshipped false gods.

Jeremiah 50:28, 30-36. The Babylonians thought they had God's people in their pockets but God is a strong God, he buys us back time after time; for the Israelites are his chosen people. And so when we come repented to God he takes us in and redeems us for his son bought us back at the cross; we just need to humbling come to him for he doesn't detest the proud.

Jeremiah 49:1-39 It's a historical chapter about Ammon, Edom, Damascus, Kedar, Hazor and Elam. These lands were going to be judgement but two of them were going to be restored.

Pride does not accomplish much for it just inflates our head and heart from the wrong things and leads us to no desire to worship the True King. Pride puts us before God. And He is above all.

Jeremiah 47:1-7. The Lord used the Babylonians to bring judgment to his enemies the Philistines. He overwhelmed and saturated the land of the Philistines with chariots, to make it seen as the sound of a flood. The Philistines were too weak to fight so, their enemies fought them to the end, also they could not resist the fight because the Sword of the Lord was fighting them too.

Jeremiah 46:27-28. He punished his children fairly for The Lord knows how we learn. He wanted his children to have the right heart to serve Him alone.

Jeremiah 45:1-5, Philippians 1:6 and 2:3. God so desires for us to work without expecting recognition from people by to remain lowly for his exaltation is better than any plaque we can receive from men.

Jeremiah 44:18-19, 28. The Lord is a jealous God. He wants us to obey solely to him. For he protects his children from harm that gods bring to his people when they are worshipped. So, let us adore and seek after only the Lord.

Jeremiah 43:8-13 there are times that God tells us what to do but we don't want to do it because we think our carnal solution is best. The of Judah asked for guidance but they did not like what the prophet Jeremiah had to say from the Lord.

Jeremiah 42:4, 7, 18-22. We ask for wisdom yet we don't follow it for we want what our flesh wants. We don't like correction for we think it would hinder our bind us. Believe when the Lord speaks for he has the best intentions.

Jeremiah 41:1-18. The king or governor who was placed by the Babylonians was killed by Ishmael a member of the King's family. We are ought to be careful who we call friends much more who we let be part of our family. For they may get to know our weaknesses, insecurities, and faults.

Jeremiah 40:3, 10, 15 People who are not believers are watching what do and say it's from God. And when something happens they know it's God doing the things only God can do, promises of prophecy. The Lord loves to lavish his love on us, so let's stay faithful to his promises.

Jeremiah 39:4-10 So, in this chapter we see Jeremiah's prophecy fulfilled. King Zedekiah was captured and taken to Babylon and also Jerusalem was set on fire. The poorest stayed in the land. The Lord speaks through people at times to warn us just as He did through the Prophet Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 38:1-28, Romans 13:1-2 We are ought to say the truth and plus obey our authorities, so that it may go well for us. Jeremiah told the king the truth but he did not wanted to obey what Jeremiah had to say for fear of what the people would do to him. So, Jeremiah stayed true to God and king Zedekiah.

Jeremiah 37:6-8, 11-16. The Lord had already spoken through Jeremiah about the land being seized by the Babylonians but the people did not believe it until they saw Babylonian armies roaming through the land and so, where the Egyptian army went through the land but they were there to help the Israelites. When we have a spoken message of the Lord we must act on it meaning the Israelites had time to seek the Lord and turn from their ways before the Babylonians captured it.

Jeremiah 36:6-8, 24-26,30 When the Lord instructs us something we must rush to do so. That was the attitude of Baruch. He was a faithful servant to the prophet Jeremiah and the Lord. We have the complete written message of the Lord we are ought to obey it without hesitation. The Lord hides us from our enemies when they want to seize us.

Jeremiah 35:12-15 The Lord instructed the people of Judah and Jerusalem to obey him and refuse to follow and serve other gods. The group of people from the family of Recabite was instructed not to drink wine, own fields, and live in tents they have obeyed this come that was delivered from a man named Jonadab and yet the Lord spoke through prophets to his people and still they disobeyed time after time. The Lord wants us to obey Him more than we do to people especially his written commands.

Jeremiah 34:4-5, 16, 18-20. The people broke their promise to free their slaves. For this reason and many others, the Lord handed over the kingdoms of Jerusalem and Judah thing Nebuchadnezzar. This king was going to seize the kingdom of Judah and Jerusalem and burn it down.

Jeremiah 33:3, 6-9, 11, 25-26. The Lord promised and He will bring it to pass for He is faithful and true. God has deep thoughts and understands better our situation to bring to pass what's best for us. He promised something and he delivers for He is a God of kindness he is that ruling to trick us.

Jeremiah 32:17-20, 23-30 The Lord wanted Jeremiah to trust Him by buying land from his cousin in the amiss the Babylonians attacking the land. For God will restore the land of Israel once again.

Jeremiah 31:13, 26, 33-34 The Lord is righteous. He tests our willingness to follow Him. He tested His people when He sent them to captivity in Babylon but he saw how they were mistreated and decided to hear His children's hearts. He brought them back and told them how he will restore their sadness with happiness. But better yet He created a new covenant.

Jeremiah 30: 9-16, 18, 24 The Lord brought the people from captivity but He also punish them for their many sins. But the Lord also punished the enemies of his people. The Lord wants us to honor Him with all we have and not deviate from His truth, trust, and the comfort he alone provides.

Jeremiah 29:5-8, 10-12. On this Thanksgiving day pray for the land where you have been planted for if we do this we will be blessed and so as the land. Thanksgiving is a beautiful holiday that helps reroute our focus back to God as we should everyday.

Jeremiah 28:3-4, 10, 15-17 We ought to analyze what people prophesied to us for not all the messages people say are from the Lord. Some people tell us things so they can be famous and gain our trust but we need to analyze what is being said to us. Hananiah was a false prophet and Jeremiah knew so but not the people. Hananiah's message did not come to pass for it was a false message he even died before the time his prophecy was supposed to come to pass as told to Jeremiah by the Lord.

Jeremiah 27:9 & 16. Filter the opinions of people for we must rest and allow the Sabbath to restore us. If we rest on the Sabbath we are being obedient to God.

Jeremiah 26, Proverbs 9:10, Proverbs 1:7 So, Jeremiah was about to be killed but it the not happen because Ahikam did not hand over Jeremiah for he supported him. So, when we obey new doors of opportunity open and can see right through the clouds or fog.

Jeremiah 25:5-11 When we apply what we learn and are obedient to The Lord good things happen. The Lord in this chapter told the of Judah and all-around what was going to happen because of their lack of obedience. Destruction comes when we go and do our own things without presenting them to the Lord. Especially when we start worshipping idols or things that occupy the place of God in our hearts.

Jeremiah 24:9-10, 21:9-10 When The Lord instructs is because He knows what's best. When He says go it's because He has already arranged better things as opposed to those who decide to stay.

Jeremiah 23:3-6, 11-14, 22-24. Great prophecy for the people of Israel, for the Lord, will sit on His throne and judge righteously. If we are far away He wants to draw his people closer to Him. For He is a God of nearness. He wants us to come to him boldly with all our concerns for he loves to guide us to him.

Jeremiah 22:13-16, 28-30, Luke 10:7. As an employer don't abuse your employees by paying them less or no wages than what they deserve. It's important to do what is right and fair so life can go well for us.

Jeremiah 21:7-10, 13-14, Matthew 22:37. The Lord fought against His people because of their stubbornness to follow after other gods. Who he demonstrated to them who had no power as Yahweh does. He pursued the people of Israel to in fact go out of the country for he was going to destroy their home country. So, we are out to believe in the Lord for he knows what's best for us.

Jeremiah 20:3, 9, 12 So Jeremiah had a burning fire inside him that it did not stop him from sharing the news of God, for The Lord test the heart and mind of people. Even after Jeremiah was beaten he could not stop from sharing the message of God.

Jeremiah 19:1, 5, 10. While in the potter's hand The Lord can shape us but when the jar is used for something else then its original purpose God breaks it. We were made for a purpose and purpose is To Love God With All Our Hearts.

Jeremiah 18:1-23. The Lord wanted to mold the lives of his children but they did not want to allow it. They wanted to continue doing evil and listening to teachers and prophets who only spoke things they liked. The Lord elongates and molds us for our best, so let's allow him to shape our hearts, minds, and lives.

Jeremiah 17:19-27. The Lord wanted Israel to be the example of what it means to obey the father. So, that other nations and homes would want to adore Him. Obedience and morals are instructed at home as my Father says.

Jeremiah 16:8-15, 21. The Lord was upset with his people for worshipping lifeless gods created by human hands. He told them how they were going to be acquired by the Babylonians for worshipping false gods.

Jeremiah 15:2, 6-9, 15-16, 18. 2 Kings 21:1-18. The people were going farther and farther from the Lord. Jeremiah was feeling empty but the Lord asked to return to Him so that he will not feel dry like a brook or not running like a spring.

Jeremiah 14:7-9, 17-22 The drought came to God's people because of their many sins but God's eyes were filled with tears. He is a God of understanding but firm for his people decided to believe false prophets that were not appointed by God. The Lord is a God of lessons. He wants us to learn the best possible way so we don't face drought or calamity twice. Jesus was a teacher but He was also God in the flesh who can to teach us so we don't suffer as our ancestors did or the people of Israel. He teaches us to wait, not the right decision or just something better is coming.

Jeremiah 13:1-11, 18. The Lord wants us to be so tight to Him as a belt is. To depend on Him for movement, fasting, and straight posture. The people neglected to hear from Jeremiah from all levels of society, the king and the queen so, if they did so how much more the regular individuals.

Jeremiah 12:1-2, 5-6,10, 14-17. So Jeremiah was disheartened but the Lord encouraged him by giving him hope and to remain strong in the pursue of people for the ones he is after are not as strong as horses.

Jeremiah 11:13, 17-19, 21-23. The Lord was made with His people for the way they had gone to worship as many idols as there are towns in Judah and built altars as there were streets in Jerusalem. But God was with Jeremiah to guard his life from the people who were against him.

Jeremiah 10:3-13, 16 Idols made by skillful craftsmen cannot help us for they are created by humans but we out adore the true living God, who created the heavens and the earth with his wisdom and understanding. He made us adore him not human-made created things.

Jeremiah 9:23-24, 1Corinthians 1:27-28,31. The Lord was disappointed about his people how they neglected to worship Him only because He provided to them with their land, saved them from many wars, protected them daily by providing to the life. But they chose to worship small g gods instead of the One who provided them with the good things of life. The true living God adored his people and He wanted them to see it. For He revealed Himself only to them in the world first.

Jeremiah 8:4-12, 19b. The Lord wants us to be honest, right in our hearts. He wants us to be scared to do harmful things. He wants us to return to him with a sincere heart, so we can do the right things.

Jeremiah 7:23-24, 31; 1Samuel 15:22. The Lord wanted His people to move forward not backward as their ancestors had done for not obey Him. When we obey the Lord, He lets His Holy Spirit help us and guide us to all truth. Let's move forward with Him today and every day.

Jeremiah 6:10-20 The Lord clearly showed them about the destruction coming their way because of the way they have decided how to worship the Lord and how they would rather listen to people who are lukewarm than the prophet who genuinely wants the best for Israel and his people. They wanted to do the abomination the foreign lands were doing instead of worshipping God who has cared for them since their beginning as a nation.

Jeremiah 5: 1-5, 8-9, 17, 19, 22-23. The Lord's timing is perfect. We can not rush Him for he brings the rain and the harvest at his appropriate time, every time. The Lord judged his people because they did not believe God would judge them for worshipping gods. Made by their own hands and by taking an oath falsely. He took his people to a foreign to worship foreign gods because of their disobedience.

Jeremiah 4:2-4, 14 God wants our sincere hearts and mind, not a heart that plots evil or it's not truthful or honest, nor right. For He can see our hearts. He is ahead, for He is, He was and is to come. He is the Alfa and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

Jeremiah 3:11-14 Romans 6:23. Romans 6:10. No god has come to forgive our sins but Jesus came and die a sinless death to take on Him the sins of all unfaithful people. He died once and for all. Sin is baggage that God doesn't work us to carry. Allow Him to forgive you, for He knows what's best for us.

Jeremiah 2:13; Jeremiah 17:13; John 4:10. The Lord is the only one that can bless us with eternal life by giving us living water while we are on this earth. Trust Him today for he is the only God who promises this living water.

Jeremiah 1:1-6, 9-16 The Lord touched Jeremiah to be a prophet for He had chosen him for even before he was in his mother's womb. The Lord can be trusted when he appoints us to a task. He backed us up when we go about to do His will and calling on our life. We put excuses when God calls us but before we even desire or imagine doing a task He has already layout the path we are to take. Don't be slow to do His work for we are backed up by the Almighty!

Isaiah 66:3-6, 19-24; Psalm 51:17 The Lord wants our genuine hearts and conscious mind. Don't just do what comes automatic but we are to think and do accordingly what God has instructed us in his Word. For the Lord wants a broken and contrite heart.

Isaiah 65:1-6, 11-15, 17-25. The Lord is there ready to bless the people who obey his commands. Who doesn't worship gods, who do despicable things and pretends to be holy? We are to turn around and repent from the wrong we are doing. In other words, submit to the only God maker of heaven and earth and follow Jesus our Redeemer. For He is faithful and true. The only one trustworthy with our soul.

Isaiah 64:1-4, 7-8; Romans 3:10-12. If only we have faith as a mustard seed size we can undertake any duty and allow the Lord to take precedence and hold of our projects, we will outperform in that project or task for the Lord will see our faith in Him and won't let us go.

Isaiah 63:2-3, 8-10, Revelation 19:13-15. In Christ alone, we find redemption for He is the only God that has set a path of saving and to be drawn near to him. He put His own body on the line to save us. No other god has died or come to save his people.

Isaiah 62:1, 4, 12 The people of God will be sought after, the city God wants because he is a keeper of his promises. He will not delay in preparing his bride to be perfect and ready for her bridegroom, Jesus. The people of Israel and so also the gentiles who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior will have a place with Jesus.

Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:16-22 The Lord Jesus fulfilled this prophesy written hundreds of years before his birth. God is a God of plans. He planned and orchestrated life and since we have free will and naturally don't seek him, He bore a savior to reroute us back to Him.

Isaiah 60:10-11, 13, 18-19, 22 The Lord will rest, light, and bless Israel with many beautiful things. From precious woods to gold, to camels and He will be the light that radiates during the day and night. The sun and the moon will be replaced.

Isaiah 59:7-9, 15-18; 1 Thessalonians 5:8. The Lord brought salvation to his people because of the injustice that was been done to the people who refused to do evil. He covered Himself in goodness so we can be reconciled back to the Father, for he wanted for us to see his goodness above all the corruption and evil done on earth.

Isaiah 58:3-8, 11-14; John 4. In This chapter, God wants us to be right with the people around us and then come to him in worship and adoration and fast. He correctly guides us so that our prayers can be heard by Him. So, we will be a spring that never runs dry. In John 4 Jesus presents the term living water. God showed his people then and Jesus presented it again in this chapter of John for He alone can satisfy us.

Isaiah 57:1-6, 9-13, 20, Revelation 21:1. So, is believed this chapter of Isaiah was written before the exile because people were committing sins as before the Babylonian exile. The Lord rescued and showed mercy to his devoted followers and found rest in death. The new heaven and earth and will not have a sea as it says in Revelation. For it represented evil people in this chapter.

Isaiah 56:3-5, 7. Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, Luke 19:46 The Lord is the God of all. He wants to include everyone. For His Son came to die for all. We may feel excluded but if we are obedient to His command He will change our name to His and add us to his family.

Isaiah 55:1-2, 6-7, 8-9 &10-11, John 6:32-59 When the Word of God speaks does not return void. Jesus is the bread of life that satisfies every inch of our body. Our God spoke about this satisfaction that only becomes from Him. He feeds us, satisfies us with His Word and that Word became man and die but it resurrected for us to bring us closer to the Father.

Isaiah 54:1, 4-5, 8, 16-17 The Lord is our husband He protects His Children from the destroyer's weapons. God has an arsenal, He is the maker of all weapons so nothing, no weapons the enemy brings to our path will not prosper. We are His children which He protects.

Isaiah 53: 1-3, 5, 9,11-12; Matt 26:63, Mark 14:61, John 19:9, 1 Peter 2:23. Jesus never did anything wrong and never lied. He grew up in this sinful world but that never affected Him. For He came on a mission and fulfilled every prophecy. The punishment of death we were supposed to get and the correction from the Father, was given to Jesus. We need to adore Him for he brings healing and salvation to our soul.

Isaiah 52:1-6, 7, 13-15. Luke 22:63-64. The Lord was beaten on his face so, Isaiah's prophecy of this many centuries before it would happen. The Lord appeared to many and some could not recognize him. The Father's great love for us is so great that he delivers us from our enemies time after time. We see how he rescued the Israelites from the Egyptians, Assyrians, and in this case the Babylonians. To map out the eternal and permanent way to the Father, Jesus His son laid down his life to the point of beating in the face and was left unrecognizable by many but brought glory to the Father by reconciling our debt. He is amazing. Even though it would cost Him his life He laid down.

Isaiah 51:6-8, 12&13, 17, 20, 22-23. Life is a matter of decisions right or wrong. Since we don't know what's best for us we should allow God to decide for us. By asking The Holy Spirit to instruct us in the best or optimal direction.

Isaiah 50:1-3, 4, 6. The Lord remains faithful even when we walk out on Him. He pursues us with His love. He has appointed ministers like Isaiah to help us depend on Him and not on our own fire or strength.

Isaiah 49:2-4, 7, 23 The Lord brought His children back to their land, He gave strength to Isaiah to speak to his children who were out of their land go, to go back for God will provide and guide them. They were many but yet God provides them with food even in bare hills.

Isaiah 48:1,9,11,13 The Lord is the master who controls everything but yet He allows us to think and make choices on our own. He is aware of our shortcomings reason why he wants us to trust him. He is a true father of compassion who has put everything in motion by his might and power so, that if we genuinely trust him he comes through all the time.

Isaiah 47:4,6-7, 12-13 The Lord all Powerful brought judgment to the Babylonians for their abuse to the children of God. They had no mercy on them, they even abuse the old people of Israel by making them work hard.

Isaiah 46:3-13 In this chapter The Lord clearly emphasizes his strength over idols. He wants to know there is no God but Him or like Him. His might goes beyond measure. No man-made idols change or deviate from our life plan. He has made it easy for us to have communion with Him. He near the broken-hearted as He says on His word. Take courage and trust the one true living God.

Isaiah 45:14-18, 20-22, Ezra 1:2. The Lord prophesied 200 years ago how He was going to protect his children the Israelis. He used Cyrus a nation that did not follow God but yet He used to be glorified and for His children the Israelites to see that He never leave them alone and without protection. He used a nation that was not believers in Him but then they realized He was with them because He destroyed many people and kingdoms were give into their own hands.

Isaiah 44:6-8, 15-21 People who worship man-made idols are blind. With their own hands, they make something, a doll or statue to worship without realizing it is only a toy with no intrinsic power. It's made by someone that has no power how can it be more powerful than he who created it.

Isaiah 43:1-4, 10-13, 18-19, 25 Jesus is surely shown here in this text. He is the true Messiah and He also is God. Who gives everything to save His chosen people. Jesus is God and will always be on his throne nothing or no god can move Him from there.

Isaiah 42:1-4 6-7, John 14:6 In this chapter Isaiah prophesied about our loving Christ who was humble, kind, loving to give sight to the blinds, to free us from darkness but more importantly to reconcile back to the father. For as it says He is the Way, The Truth, and Life, no one comes to the Father except through me". John 14:7.

Isaiah 41:4, 27-29 The Lord has been with us since the beginning of time and we can be confident he will continue to rule until the end of times. He is smart and no idol can outstand the magnitude of his wisdom. Trust Him for he is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

Isaiah 40:1-8, 12-13; John 3:28 The Lord made peace with his people of Jerusalem, and John made the way of the Lord in Salim(peace). No one has the mind of the Lord. No one can give him advice or instruct him for He is all knowledgeable. Come to the maker of your heart today for he longs to hear from you!

Isaiah 39:1-8 it's a vivid description of what innocently we do when we show our enemies or covered up people our skills and abilities. We are to be careful who is sneaking in to steal our ideas and abilities. Sometimes these enemies come covered up and with a smiling face.

Isaiah 38:2-5b, 16-19 So, Hezekiah cried bitterly for the Lord to spare his life and so He did by adding 15 years to his life. Hezekiah wrote in praise to the Lord for adding 15 more years to his life and saving his people from the hands of the Assyrian king. When we cry in humility the Lord sees our vulnerability and our fragility and so he does the unheard he adds life to our weak bones.

Isaiah 37:5-7, 14-17, 27,36-38 The king prayed to the true Living God and The Lord delivered his people but before he prayed he received confirmation from Isaiah the king of Assyria was going to be kill but this this the power of prayer the king Hezekiah ran to God when he felt weak and The Lord killed the king of Assyria by his own sons just as Isaiah mention he was killed by the sword.

Isaiah 36:8-10 Vivid description of how wild their minds were to think that The Lord Almighty was with them to attach his children. Very far from the truth, for God allowed all those other nations to be an attack because most of them were far from the God of Israel although Judah was attacked because it was prophesied time before for the idol worship. But no God will no tempt his people.

Isaiah 35:1-10 picture perfect of how we will live with joy in our hearts. Our lives will be restored to the likeness of the Father, "holy for He is holy". In the new Jerusalem no fools or evil will be there only joy. Every weakness of hands, knees, fears, blindness, deaf, crippled, or those that can't speak will restored to their new likeness.

Isaiah 34:1-4; Luke 21:36The Lord will bring judgement to the world to all His enemies. To those who have neglected to walk humbly before him and those who refuse to accept Jesus as Lord and savior. For His kingdom will last but to those who ignore Him judgement will come.

Isaiah 33:3,6,15-24; Matthew 9:1-7; Mark 2:1-12. The Lord is great and He has saved us to take us to His new Jerusalem. Our new home. Home of the saved, where Our Mighty will reign forever. Be encouraged and uplifted for salvation is for all who have been redeem by the "Lamb who takes away the sins of the world".

Isaiah 32:9-15, 20 There will be times of calamity but we have this hope that when The Lord pours down his Spirit the earth will be restored. And there will be a great joy! Allow the Lord to restore your life to his fullness intended. Go to Him at full speed.

Isaiah 31:1-9, 2 Kings 19:35 The Lord is capable of defending His people with just one arm outstretched. The Israelites tried to find refuge from the Assyrian by going to Egypt but the Lord reminded them that they might be many in horses but they are not spirit who can't analyzed their plans or schemes for the Lord is above power, wisdom or the ways of man as the songs says.

Isaiah 30:1, 6-7, 20-21 So, the Lord wants to surely depend on Him for guidance and trust in every decision we are about to make. He is Sovereign enough to know the right way for our life. If we listen calmly we can hear him say "This is the right way. You should go this way..." as in verse 21 saids. He still voice is strong enough and subtle to guide us the right way when we ask.

Isaiah 29:1, 13, 16, Matthew 15:8 The Lord brought judgement to Jerusalem for they worshipped Him with their lips but their hearts were far away from Him. The is the maker of it all, He is the potter, the maker, not the clay. He alone brings judgement but if we recognized our wrong he can restore and heal our hearts

Isaiah 28:7,16. The priests and prophets and got drunk with wine and beer and they did not trusted in the the Father and more for they felt far away from the Father they even started trusting the devil, in death. But God promised them that he can be trusted for he was going to send a rock that will guide their life and that rock is Jesus! The lamb who takes away our sins and draws us closer to the Father even when we are not perfect.

Isaiah 27:1, 7, 12-13 The destruction of the enemy is eminent. Jesus rose from the dead and that's the first step in killing the enemy. As children of the Great and Awesome Father he will not judge us as he would our enemies. For the Father loves us unconditionally. He wants to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can as an image. The Father cares for us. He will brings to our home the new Jerusalem by gathering children one by one.

Isaiah 26:3,9 & 15. Tyre was the place for people to go and make their purchases. It was a harbor who had everything but God saw their hearts from far away and noticed the pride of this city, to the point that he made those proud people unimportant. If you feel proud ask God to forgive you for he dislikes a proud heart, For God was humble enough to leave his throne and die for sinners such as us. He walks with his children daily to give us courage, freedom and certainly peace. Don't let pride destroy your communion with the Father.

Isaiah 22:9-11, 15-16, 22 The Lord doesn't like when we make plans for ourselves without His divine guidance. The servant Shebna was making plans to perhaps allow people to worship him when he passed away. God opens and closes doors for our best in mind. He wants us to depend on him daily and with everything.

Isaiah 21:9, Revelation 18:2 The Lord brought judgment to the people of Babylon, Edom, and Arabia because they did a lot of damage to His people the Israelites. He will in the future also judge the rulers who have oppress his children around the world.

Isaiah 20:1-6 We are to trust the true living God when we are cornered by enemies. In this chapter of Isaiah, The Lord showed the people to trust in the one who can fight our battles and not trust in people or things we think are stronger than Him. Today and always trust in the True Living God!

Isaiah 19:1-25 The Lord brought destruction to the Assyrians, Egyptians, and Israelites for trusting gods and spirits of the death. But because the Lord came for all He will transform these three nations and allow them to see who is the true living God. After they will worship for he is All-Powerful and might God. Jesus Himself will be the guide of those nations. This happened and is also a prophetic word for this nations.

Isaiah 18:1-7, Acts 8:26-40 Sometimes the Lord doesn't allow to join forces with others because he wants and yearns to reveal himself to us. The Lord knows what's ahead so he allows what He allows in time for us to deeply depend on His knowledge.

Isaiah 17:1-14 The Lord the All-Powerful God brought destruction to the land of Damascus and Israel for worshipping idols they have made with their own hands. Damascus current day is Syria were enemies of Israel. During their destruction, they could not rely on or steal from Israel for they were going through judgment too.

Isaiah 16:6-8 Proverbs 16:18 When we become proud it separates us from the Father. And because of that separation, the covering we have with the Father is removed for we are to praise Him alone. Don't allow pride or conceit to rule your heart walk in submission together with the Father of protection of our soul.

Isaiah 15:1-9 How the Lord brought destruction and judgment to the land of Moab. For some time they were protected but then the Lord brought judgment to them. They were part of the Israelites because their founder can from Lot and one of his daughters and even David protected them for he was one-quarter Moab from his grandmother Ruth.

Isaiah 14:1-2, 5-8, 12-15 The Lord is strong. He has control of the whole world. He had it then and he has it now. He taught a lesson to the Israelites by being taken captive to Babylon because of their worship of gods. But the Lord saw how much they suffered so He brought them back to their land to rule over their enemies. The enemy of our soul thought his plan of captivity was supreme but the Lord shut his plan down and him.

Isaiah 13:1-3,17, 19-22. The Lord brought judgment to the Babylonians because of what they did to his chosen people, the Israelites. The Israelites worshipped idols so the Lord brought judgment to them through the Babylonians. The Lord gets bad with us when we worship idols to the point of destruction but he loves deeply and for that reason, he does not wipe us out completely. He brought judgment to the Babylonians with the Medes He destroyed them through them. If you are worshipping other things then God returns for he loves and cares for you deeply.

Isaiah 12-6 This chapter is a chapter of praise for how the Lord will rule the world and how he is not angry with us anymore because and especially when he comes back and takes his throne. For Jesus accomplished His great mission to draw His children back to the father when he died on the cross. He is coming back to take his throne and put everything in order. So, we would see that the father is not angry with us anymore.

Isaiah 11:1-16 The Lord will take his rightful place when he comes back to judge us with fairness and love. Not by what he hears but what he knows in his heart. Nature will be as desired, wild animals will mingle with humans and other animals.

Isaiah 10:6-14, 20-27. The Lord brought judgment to His very own family for worshiping idols but then his anger ceases and uses his anger against the ones that brought judgment to his people. The Lord is sovereign wants us to worship him alone. For He alone is the true living God.

Isaiah 9:2-7, 15-17. The promised Counselor came to draw us back to the Father and He is coming back again to rule from His throne in Jerusalem, David's throne. Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever. He will bring order to this world because He first came in humble means to show is his love for us but his second coming He is coming to rule.

Isaiah 8:10-14, 19. In verse 20 I also want to point out how the mediums have no power for they can't speak the words of the living God. Only God who made us for His purpose can guide us in the appropriate direction. No medium can do that. God knows the future and we are to cling to Him for He is a loving Father.

Isaiah 7:1, 7-8, 10-14. When the Lord puts a burden in your heart to ask for a sign about how to solve an issue ask Him for he knows the best strategies. He is God indeed, for that reason he wants us to trust him. Just as the Lord spoke to Isaiah about our Messiah, he recommended Ahaz to request a sign because the Lord knows best. Especially when we are nervous and have no idea of what to do. God aligns our thinking to His.

Isaiah 6:1-13 The Lord wants to make us holy because He is holy. He allowed Isaiah to be clean and make him holy to be ready to embark on the ministry set ahead for him because of his willingness to satisfy his soul and certainly to accomplish the purpose set by God for his life. Just a single touch of Jesus can heal us and clean us from any impurity.

Isaiah 5:7, 12-13, 15, 24-25 The Lord Loves us deeply he wants to prune He wants us his vineyard to produce great fruit. He allows captivity to happen to His chosen people because he wanted to let them see how good they had it when God was guiding them. The Lord died to reconcile us back to the Father for his tremendous love for us.

Isaiah 4:2,5; John 15:5; Exodus 13:21-22 The Lord Jesus Christ protects us when we walk in dark days and in light days when we know Him personally that is. He is the fulfillment of the hope we so desire and need every day in this life.

Isaiah 3:5-7,16-18 2 Kings 24:14 After The important people had been taken into captivity. Youngsters and women were left but they were all poor. The women tried to flirt with their eyes and with things that made them beautiful, but the Lord took everything away from them. The Lord sometimes takes things away that would push back from His will and the purpose of our lives.

Isaiah 2:1-4, 8, 11-12, 17-18, 22 The Lord will rule from his mountain on the last days. He is strong and sovereign. He is above any idols we may create with our hands that have no feeling or better yet power as our Lord does. Allow the Lord to be your saving grace for He suffered for you and me so we would know what true love is by laying down His life for a sinner such us.

Isaiah 21-23, 25-27, 29-31 The Lord saw what his children were doing. They were worshipping gods that had no power nor wisdom. He demonstrated his love for his people then and today by giving us a chance time after time to draw near to Him. Today we can do it by adoring and servicing Jesus and by accepting Him as our Lord. Israel was far away but the Lord brought them back to Himself with great love.

Isaiah was a prophet in the years of 740-680 for about 20 years. He was a contemporary of prophets Hosea and Micah. He prophesied about the coming Messiah in the time when Israel was divided into two kingdoms Israel to the North and Judah to the south.

Song of Songs 8:8-10 This young girl confirms that she has saved herself for marriage. Her brothers have protected her with cedar boards meaning put an end stop to sexual activity if she was an offender of this type of activity. She confirms she has saved herself for the right man to come by being mature and strong-willed.

Song of Songs 7:6, Proverbs 5:19-20. The Lord wants us to enjoy our youth mate for a lifetime and to admire his or her beauty physically and mentally. Admiration of true beauty is indispensable. Is not a sin to admire your mate's physical attributes and it's even better when we admire the mind as well and are not ashamed to share it with the world but mainly with one another.

Song of Songs 6:5-9 This is a beautiful display of how a woman should be praised and admired by the man in her life. Other women admire her as well for what she is beautiful and smart. Men praise your woman for her beauty but also for her brightness. Let others hear you praising her.

Song of Songs 5:9-16 This young lady defends her ground by giving details to her friends as to why he is in love with the physical beauty of her mate. In verses 2-8 she shares a vivid and descriptive dream she had of her boyfriend. The Bible did not omit any details as to how she feels about her sexual desire for her mate in her dream. We have no control when we are dreaming as God says.

Song of Songs 4:2-5, 7, 9 & 10 Most women like to hear compliments. Women like to hear genuine compliments that are from their significant other. Most women dress up for themselves but like to hear good compliments that come from the heart they love. Admire the woman in your life by giving her good sound and true compliments.

Song of Songs 3:5 & 11. When love is reciprocal you end your sentence of one another, you levitate and have a sense of security with one another. Don't allow just anyone into your heart but allow only kind, sweet, and reciprocal love into your heart.

Song of Songs 2:1-17 Courtship is beautiful, especially among those who love each other with the same intensity. Love is beautiful when is reciprociated with the same deepness, profoundness, and sincerity of hearts. Don't be awaken by any fool, young ladies only wait for the right one!

Song of Songs 1:6-17. This book is a beautiful dance between lovers. Some regard this book as the love of Solomon for the Shulamite lady, or a courtship between a shepherd and a beautiful young girl but others relate this book to the relationship we ought to have with Christ. Just genuine and full of love. Where we give and take love from The Lover of our souls.

Ecclesiastes 12:3-5, 14 Time flys by here on earth. We become old fast. Our bodies get shaky, our teeth fall off, our hairs become white and our eyes will get dim. Perhaps we may ask why life, why are we created. We are created to worship the Lord, to draw ourselves and others to God. To contribute to life in everything that we can. God so grants life to us to have an experience with men but to honor him in every shape or form we can while we live, to bring honor to His name. To let others see how good and caring He is. So, let's enjoy life to the fullest and bring honor and praise to His name for He deserves all.

Ecclesiastes 1-5, 9 God wants us to take advantage of every good opportunity whether to invest our time, resources, or our lives. He is still amongst us. He continues to do works every day. He has not left the building sort to speak. He wants young people to take advantage of their youth and to do it in a responsibly good way. Invest in things that come your way for it may open the door to your passion and mission of your life.

Ecclesiastes 10:1-2, 4, 10, 16-17 &20. It is best to remain at peace and calm when trying to solve an issue with a tremendous negative impact. Deep breathing can solve it because you will be serene and your mind will be more clear to tackle the issue from its roots.

Ecclesiastes 9:7, 10-18. Life can seem unfair to some people but only if you let fleetingness of thought control you. Everything you do in life gives you the very best so that there won't be remorses and that you may be remembered for your courage and strength of thoughts than by your unwillingness of action. Ecclesiastes 8:1-17 The Lord commands us to do what is right here on earth for no one can tell us the future. God has given us 24 hours in a day because we can only take so much. He knows the future in the meantime since we can not see far ahead he wants us to enjoy life to the fullest. He is the supreme King, he knows what to bring to our life when to do so. The world revolves around the sun every day to bring a new day to everyone everywhere in the world. A new chance to draw closer to God. To walk along the side of the King; who can bring the right things to our life. Don't look at what others are doing stay focus on your lane for God can surprise you at the right time.

Ecclesiastes 7:3-5, 7, 12, 14-19, 25 &29. Wisdom needs to guide us. For money can accomplish many things but if we have wisdom as well it can multiply our revenue and use it to help others and ourselves. Let's walk with wisdom hand by hand so that everything we touch prospers and it increases. If you have a goal pray for wisdom to avoid being a fool and dying in the process or perhaps getting discouraged. Wake up today is a good day to start.

Ecclesiastes 6:3, 9, 12 We are only passing through in this life. Some may have riches, wealth, and honor but what good is it if he doesn't get to enjoy it. It's better to enjoy what we have at hand than be covetous of what others have or maybe just desiring more. Let's enjoy life with the little or with great riches but always remember to share with others.

Ecclesiastes 5:3-7, Genesis 15:5, 22:7-8, 15-19. By faith, Abraham found confidence in God. If we go on and on without enjoying life we might think of it as useless or without purpose. Finding mirth in the simplest acts of life brings enjoyment to our hearts. We get merry and celebrate every accomplishment or even negative circumstances of life. Not that our purpose in life is to be only merry but to experience the person of Christ in our hearts here on earth before we go to the heavens and enjoy Him permanently.

Ecclesiastes 1:3 God so profoundly has given us life to choose Him about everything else. To choose His wisdom and understanding in this life. Life is an experience to enjoy with the creator for heaven is our eternal home with the creator, that is if we know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Our hearts can be only be filled by the love of God to find life's meaning and purpose.

The Book of Ecclesiastes expresses the uselessness of life after having tried everything there is to life. It may seem a bit melancholy or pessimistic but we tend to take for granted what the Lord brings to our lives daily. We don't admire or appreciate what he has purposedly allowed us to explore and experience in life. Everything has a meaning and significance in our life. For daily God puts us in a position to be used by Him, to admire Him, and to represent the beauty of Christ to others through nature or by our doings.

Proverbs 31:1-31 it's a good guide on what a prudent wife looks like. King Lemuel was advised by his mother how to find her. What her character looks like. What to look in her for she would support her husband on the home with great strength and enthusiasm. He was advised no to drink too much wine because he might "forget the law". His mother gave him godly advice to search for his wife with a clear mind and not governed by liquor but only with a sound mind, he will find that perfect prudent wife who would the right companion for life.

Proverbs 30: 7-9, 13&14, 25. Proverbs 6:8, Matthew 6:11. Sometimes prosperous individuals need no to just give to the poor but help them fish instead of providing the fish. We can improve tremendously the life of others by pushing them with kindness, love, and affirmation. Help others who are poor to grow don't let them think they are alone in this world.

Proverbs 29:4,7&8, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22-25, 27. When we are under pressure it's best to pray for a moment and allow the Word that has been planted in your heart to work for you. If your tank or life is full of the Word your instinct will not act under pressure but the living Word that resides in you will take over.

Proverbs 28:4, 8, 10, 12. Let thrive to manage what we have been given well. Don't oppress the poor by charging them more for the Lord sees everything you do. Let's not accept bribes or anything that only satisfies our flesh and our temporary temple or bodies. It's great to do what is right every time because it brings freedom to your heart, mind, and body. Oppressing the poor and others will only bring you temporary riches but long-haul well-being. Let's honor the Lord with what we do and how we do it.

Proverbs 27:2&3, 6, 9, 11&12, 15&16, 23-27. Being wise has a tremendous amount of benefits. It stops us from being foolish and managing wrongly our families and our wealth. Wisdom makes us prudent, saves us from foreseen trouble, helps us polish ourselves and others, and helps manage our homes wisely. Proverbs 27:7 "When you are full, not even honey tastes good, but when you are hungry, even something bitter tastes sweet." Drinking too much will make you confused and dizzy. This is not worth feeling. Yes, the Lord converted water into wine but he does not want to indulge in it to the point of being drunk it serves no good.

He so loved us He sent his son to die on a cross so that our hearts would be filled with His unquantifiable, rooted joy, love, and "the peace that surpasses all understanding". He transcends all aspects of time because He is, He was, and will be. Psalm 108 We are ought to rely on God's help to overcome the obstacles if this life. Sometimes God wants you to jump, other times He wants you to roll over something that might be a threat to your well-being.

Psalm 107:1-43 & Mark 4:35 The Lord is compassionate he does not let us drown. He sees the waves raging in our lives and allows us to redirect our faith back to him. He is all supreme and the maker of all He wants us to trust him in everything and with everything. Jesus calmed the storm over two thousand years ago he can calm it today too. Trust Him with your circumstances that are hard for you to handle.

Psalm 88:1-18 This psalm is a cry to God because he was going through a dark time in his life and he knew or had seen the good days that God Almighty can bring about in our life. Even in our distress, we can remember the goodness of God. He can reach down the grave and remove the shackles and the heavy burned the enemy lays on us. We have seen better days and can experience those good days again with God by our side.

Psalm 77:1-20 At times I have felt abandon by God but he is closer than what I think. He will have promised to "never leave us or forsake us". He will never leave the building of our life abandoned. Be encouraged today and allow him to guide you.

Psalm 73:1-28 It is better to walk side by side with Jesus than to look at other people and be jealous of others who may have everything working for them. Jesus is God and is the maker of all things so, he knows how to provide. Other people may be strong but if we walk with Christ we have a pure heart and are free of condemnation and can see Christ face to face. How joyous it's that to walk side by with Jesus the maker of our hearts. He is great provided. Let's look up to Him instead of others.

Let people do what's in their head but God is the one who can punish them. Let God be your Vindicator don't take action into your own hands.

Psalm 68:5,6,16, 35 The Lord wants to live in you. He wants to abide in us, so that we will be full of him and his goodness. He wants to be our force and motivation to live a better life everyday. I invite you to make Jesus the Lord of your life so he can move you with his amazing love and overwhelm you with his kindness.

Psalm 8 God's name is great he created us to rule the things of this earth by trusting in His will and perfect way. He is the one who gives us wisdom to rule but we have to recognize his splendor and power for he created all and still rules. Let's worship him as babies and children do!

Psalm 7. God has given us a faith to trust him with any situation we might be facing. He wants us to pray bold prayers to save us from our enemies because he know how to bring about justice to his children and hear our plea for help. 1 Peter 4:4-8, 16. I know it can be hard to extend grace but Jesus has conquered sin with his body once and for all so that we live righteously and justly by extending grace, wearing his name and loving deeply.

1 Peter 3:9,11,15-17. I know are anxious to find justice for the wrong that has been done but are to do it the right way. God knows we are hurting but he desires to trust Him and do the right things so that he can bring justice in the orderly and right way. Don't seek justice with your own hands but let's seek justice by fixing from the bottom up the court system.

Hebrews 6:9-15, 18-20. Allow God to mature you in your faith and hope. He is faithful to his promises and oath. Jesus as The High Priest goes or intervenes on our behalf to the father for our requests. Go up the ladder of faith gaining more points daily so you can be strong and mature Christians.

The King of glory "who for a short time was made lower than the angels" wants us to find life abundantly in Him by what he conquered at the cross. He conquered eternal death at the cross.

Hebrews 1-4, 14, Colossians 1:16-17 We know the King of this whole world. He rules with great authority. He knows what is to suffer and live in this world but yet without sin. God elevated Him to the highest position. He overcame the world. Everything was made for him and through him. Know he speaks to us and he has also sent angels to help us.

John 20:19, James 3:17, 2 Thessalonians 3:17 Jesus came to give us peace, that "peace that surpass all understanding". He is the only one who can give it not the world or the things if this world. His peace is "all pure, then peaceful, gentle, and easy to please"

1 Thessalonians 1:1-8. Continue to share love for God for "He will give trouble to those who trouble you". This Covid19 has not and it will not stop us from sharing God's love.

Holy Friday

1 Thessalonians 5:14-18 and Jeremiah 29:11. This is the time to be encouraged and encourage others with our love for Christ. Let's be patient, joyful and praying unceasing. No wrong for wrong but good all the way.

1 Thessalonians 4:9-12, Matthew 22:37-39. Live a life of love found in a relationship with Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 3:13, Psalms 62:1-8, James 1:24. "Be made strong so that you will be holy and without fault".

1 Thessalonians 2:2, 13. Hebrews 4:12. The Word of God is actively working in our lives to enrich us, to prune us, to make us brave but more importantly to make us fruitful.

Romans 8:39: "Nothing above us, nothing below us, nor anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

1 Thessalonians 1:7&8, Luke 8:22-25. When we have our focus on Jesus our worries, anxiety and out of balance dissipates. Let's Him make the center by singing praises and with fervent prayer for he hears us.

Colossians 4:2,5-6, 11. Let's me the most of this opportunity and be comforted by the Lord. He along is love and comfort.

Colossians 3:8, 12, 14, 16. Let's love like no other time. Let's stop "anger, bad temper, hatred, saying things to hurt others and using evil words when you talk." Visualize the symbol of the cross with as this our heart (your right hand lifted towards God) to God and (left) hand to men.

Colossians 2:6-8, 15. "Keep your roots deep in him." "Have your life built on him." "Be strong in the faith." "Always be thankful.". God "Stripped rulers and powers of their authority with the Cross." In other words, God shamed them.

Colossians 1:9-12, 16-17. In this text the apostle Paul is expressing to the Colossians how he has been praying for them to grow in knowledge of God so that when troubles come they will be patient. Through Jesus sacrifice on the cross God has given us a share of the kingdom of light. "All things were created through Christ and for Christ." Also, "and all things continue because of him" meaning the world gravitates and produces it's crops, seasons still come and go because of Him. This is the season to grow in patience, love and kindness.

Philippians 4:7 and 17. Jesus offer the peace we need now plus when we give we receive good things.
