In this episode of the Girls 4 Greatness podcast I have the privilege of chatting with Alison Hall, founder of Change Agent Coaching For Women. Alison and I are discussing not only her journey to be the influencer she is today but also the importance of understanding just how powerful true self-assessment is.

For more than 10 years now Alison has also been using her financial expertise and in-depth understanding of human behavior to help women make smart, informed financial decisions around divorce and other life changing events, including starting their own businesses.

Alison’s mantra is, “Knowledge is power,” and with that in mind she educates women about personal finance and business creation and development so that they’re empowered to navigate life and career transitions confidently, lean into their strengths, find their purpose, dump the ‘shoulds’ and self-doubt, and reinvent themselves to create the lives they want and deserve. Alison empowers her clients to seize opportunities and think beyond the expected to get what they really want. Alison taps into her own experience as a burned-out corporate grinder turned successful business owner to inspire women to embrace life-affirming change.

Today I am having a conversation with someone who is all about community, so much so that she created her own community to empower women who were also wanting connection and the tools to move themselves forward in business and in life.

Janene King is the founder of Empower Her Co., a membership based community that provides support and resources to female entrepreneurs. It is my hope that this interview will inspire you to want to build your own connections with other women who are on a similar path. It is my hope that this interview also serves as a push to get you out of your comfort zone if you find yourself hanging out there these days. After all, we are all capable of so much more!

Female rivalry is something I think all of us as women have had to deal with in some way shape or form. I think we all have likely had a moment or two where our intuition was telling us that something may be off with someone. I also think that we have all had to deal with our own inner “she bully” as this week’s guest puts it. We have let the “she bully” win us over to comparison rather than focusing on what we know to be true.

I invite you to listen in to this week’s episode with the amazing Amber Tichenor, someone who actually specializes in the area of female rivalry. Amber is a female rivalry coach for other high performing business women, empowering them to embrace change and competition. Amber’s To Be Coaching and Consulting company allows her to work with her clients to remove their obstacles and create full, successful lives. Amber is super passionate about promoting collaboration over competition.

In this episode of the Girls 4 Greatness podcast Amber shares her own experience with rivalry in the workplace and how she used that experience to inspire the work she is now doing. We dive into the power of owning your own voice and the importance of truly owning who you are. I have no doubt that you will be inspired to continue to work to remove the obstacles in your own life in order to live a more fulfilled life.

Please be sure to check out all that Amber is up to by heading to www.tobecoachingandconsulting.com. You can also connect with Amber over on Instagram under @ToBeCoaching or on Facebook under To Be, Coaching + Consulting. Amber can also be found on LinkedIn under Amber Tichenor.

Cherie is a mother of 6, an author, an international speaker, and the host of the Women Seeking Wholeness podcast. Cherie is also an avid researcher and teacher of the Divine Feminine. She has written and produced audios, training programs and led transformational retreats all on this subject as well.

Cherie and I talk about the importance of actually waking up to who we really and truly are and the importance of tuning into our senses. We also discuss how our mental wellness is wrapped up in so much more than just the thoughts we think.

I have no doubt that Cherie’s wisdom and truth will challenge and inspire you to take a deeper look at not just the way you think, but how your own self-care plays such a vital role in your overall wellness.

This week on the Girls 4 Greatness podcast I am doing something a little different. I have decided to add in the occasional Real Life. Real Talk. podcast, a podcast all about topics that we can all relate to. These podcasts are conversational in nature vs. being more interview or solo cast style.

For my first Real Life. Real Talk. Podcast I have decided to ask Minessa Konecky to join me in a conversation all about boundaries. If you are a regular listener of this podcast then you may remember Minessa. She was a guest on episode #42, Leaving The World Better Than You Found It, 1st http://girls4greatness.com/episode042/.

Minessa has since become a dear friend and we regularly keep in touch inspiring and encouraging each other. Minessa was one of the first people to come to mind when I had the idea of starting this podcast. I am thrilled to be able to share this fun, candid conversation all about the ways in which we often struggle to put the right boundaries into place and to own those boundaries without apology.

Be sure to find and follow Minessa on IG under minessa.konecky and on facebook at www.facebook.com/businesbydesign. In my interview with Lila, we talk all about how she went from singer and actress to the creator of The Say Things Better Method of Intentional Communication. Lila not only shares the struggles she has encountered along the way and all it has taken for her to get to where she is today, but she also shares some fantastic insights on how we can all be better communicators.

Not only is Lila the creator of Say Things Better but she is also a You Map Certified coach, a messaging consultant to entrepreneurs and thought leaders, and an international public speaker! In short, Lila is a master at communicating, and I have no doubt that you will have some wonderful takeaways from this interview!

Please be sure to take Lila’s advice and find her on LinkedIn at www.linkedin.com/in/lilasmith or www.linkedin.com/company/saythingsbetter/ You can also connect with her on Instagram under @lilalasagna or @saythingsbetter. Also, be sure to check out all she has to offer through her Say Things Better program at www.saythingsbetter.com.

I am thrilled to be starting off season 2 of the Girls 4 Greatness podcast with my first ever solo cast! I invite you to listen in as I dive into the topic of guilt and how it is often something we ourselves allow to take root. I talk about how I have personally struggled with guilt in my own life and how I have decided to instead embrace what builds my self-worth.  It is my hope that these solo casts will give you more insight into who I really and truly am and also serve to inspire you to be more of who you really and truly are! I want these episodes to empower you to unapologetically live life on your own terms and realize that perfection is not a requirement for sharing your own greatness with the world.

Please be sure to find me on Facebook and Instagram under @girls4greatness.

In case you missed Part 1, in honor of celebrating the launch of the Girls 4 Greatness podcast a year ago, I have decided to end season 1 with a two-part highlight series. Last week’s episode featured some highlights from the first 25 episodes, and this episode will feature some highlights from the last 25 episodes.

I have no doubt that you are about to get your daily dose of positivity, motivation, and inspiration as I highlight some of my favorite takeaways from the latter part of this season. I know I said this when I released Part 1, but it was truly so difficult to just focus on a few of what seemed like so many highlights. Honestly, I have learned so much from each guest I have had the honor of interviewing over this last year. Every single beautiful woman I have interviewed has had so many powerful, inspiring words to share. If you would like to check out the full episodes of those I have chosen to highlight then please be sure to check out the episodes listed below.

Episode 30- The Power Of Embracing Your Pain With Felicia Gummi

Episode 36- Letting Go Of Perfect With Sara Dean

Episode 37- Reimagining Success With Anna Lundberg

Episode 42- Leaving The World Better Than You Found It With Minessa Konecky

Episode 47- Living A Life Of Wholeness With Yiema John

Episode 6 - Becoming Your Own Greatest Hero With Delane Cooper

Episode 7- Embracing Change With Tara Massan

Episode 15 - The Power Of Surrender With Shannon Jamail
