When God remembers you, change becomes inevitable. When God remembers you impossibility becomes possible. When God remembers you He causes your enemies to be at peace with you.
When we talk about God remembering us it is never a matter of "if" but a matter of WHEN!
Opening Text: [2 Corinthians 12:8-10 NLT]
Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. [9] Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. [10] That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
PROMISE Verse:
[Psalms 55:22] Cast your burden on the LORD [Release it], And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit (allow) the righteous to be moved
This morning I want to focus on “Developing Your Confidence in God” for your Life… Because, many of us believe in God, but we struggle with trusting Him, or at least to a certain point… (Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly)… not to a certain point!
Opening Text: [Psalm 5:11 NKJV] But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.
[John 12:9-11 AMP] A large crowd of Jews learned that He [Jesus] was there [at Bethany]; and they came, not only because of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead. 10 So the chief priests planned to kill Lazarus also, 11 because on account of him many of the Jews were going away [from the teaching and traditions of the Jewish leaders] and believing in Jesus [following Him as Savior and Messiah].
There is so much going on today, and in this current dispensation of time… that can and has caused us to become distracted and worried about what is going to happen next… It can be quit daunting! Trying to figure out why is all of this happening to you, why so much lose, division, corruption, hatred, uncertainty, and so on… [Jon Courson stated in his Application Commentary, that] “Whenever we find ourselves full of anxiety about the future, it’s most likely because we don’t remember how faithful God has been in the past.”
David urges us not to forget any of His Benefits… But, Our problem is that we didn’t know we had any or didn’t see them as such…
This morning I want to focus of on Shifting the Course of your life by Growing Spiritually; by bearing the fruits of the Spirit in our Hearts and Sharing them with the world – Fruits such as: Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control…
Understand that God created us for His Glory and He knows the plans for our life… He knew us before we were born… He knows where he wants to position us… So, we must Get into His word and Keep his commandments and Take the Test! The Test do not Define Us; however, they will Refine You! Test will Cause you to look different, walk different, talk different, and all around be different! Remember, Joseph’s Brothers did not Recognize Him!
Your response to life is key to your outcomes or rather how you come out. Everything around you is waiting on how you respond to life around you. Because of the dominion God Gave you over everything. The bible says in [John 16:33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
We need His Guidance In our Lives, in my marriage, in our household, in our finances, at our job, in our relationships, in our business endeavors... Understand that God is Omnipresent (everywhere at all times) – Now, why would we not Go with HIM for Guidance!
Yet, Many of us are struggling in different areas of our lives because we chose to go our own way!
You have to understand that Your life is so much more than physical substance… We have spiritual needs, and necessities as well… and Even though we need physical substance it is not or should not be our primary purpose nor priority over seeking God’s Word.
What you speak, what you think, What you reason with… are WORDS (we hinder ourselves with our responses) – We have the Ability to Respond so we must be careful in how we respond in life and to one another (it’s the fruit that we bear)
I want to help you to rise above the hurt, the pain, the grief, the sorrow, the difficulties and the misfortune and Learn to Embrace the adversity that comes your way. Why? Because Adversity is a part of life. It can make you either Bitter or Better. - Your Choice!
