As we traverse through the Old Testament book of Malachi again today, we will continue to hear God rebuke the Priests (the spiritual and community leaders in Judah and Jerusalem). In Malachi 3:1-18 we see the Lord point out the difference between "Pure vs. Impure" priests. This passage will help us see: (1) the true character of God, (2) the qualifications and consequences of being impure, and (3) the proper conduct of people who have been made pure by Christ.
We are back into the Old Testament book of Malachi today. We pick back up in Malachi 2:1-17 and will study "The Heart of a Leader" from God's instructions.Everyone is a leader in some capacity (in the home, at work, in the church, in school, in the community), and God gives exceptional guidelines on how to lead well with the proper heart.
We will be jumping into our new series in Malachi this today, a message from Malachi 1:1-14 called "Pleasing or Profaning the Lord." We are all capable of profaning God, and life is better when we live to please God. We will see the things that Scripture says for both so that we can live how the Lord designed. To follow along with the sermon notes, and to catch up with the ministry of Freedom Bible Church, follow the link below:https://church.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=8911e78cced852ebe715d1dbb&id=719851eb48&e=0480e2b904

Today we continue our 8-week series in the book of 1 Peter. We saw last Sunday that God was/is at work to save us and sanctify us (conform us to the image of Christ).
Today we will see in 1 Peter 1:13 - 2:3 that as a result of God's work, we are to "Live as Strangers" in this world. We are citizens of heaven with a different set of values and priorities than this world.
