On this bi-weekly podcast, long-time friends Karen (28) and Sirianna (29) discuss race, saviorism, queerness, mental health, adoption, and other topics (some silly!).
This podcast is a way for Karen (a black woman) and Sirianna (a queer Tamil woman) to honor their practice and process of reclaiming the racialized labels they were given growing up, of being “too much” and “too loud".
In this episode, Karen and Sirianna discuss the rise of true crime as a genre, as well as their own relationship to true crime and the problems associated with society’s obsession with true crime.
Content Warning: Sexual assault and other forms of violence are discussed in this episode. Please listen with caution.
