Ms Linda Kasonde is the Executive Director for Chapter One Foundation, a lawyer and civil rights activist. She is the immediate past president of the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) and past Chairperson of the Oasis Forum. Since her tenure at LAZ, Ms Kasonde has continued to advocate for human rights, human rights defenders, women empowerment and social justice. Ms Kasonde is an officer of the Bar Issues Commission and the Africa Regional Forum of the International Bar Association (IBA) She is an alumna of the prestigious 2014 Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellowship. She is also a 2014 alumna of the prestigious United States of America State Department’s International Visitor’s Leadership Programme (IVLP) on Women in Political and Social Affairs and a 2017 alumna of the United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s International Leaders Programme.

Bright Belemu Chinganya is the Founder/Chairman of Carers of Africa which works to improve access to health services for disadvantaged persons from diverse backgrounds experiencing health issues, family and domestic violence and unemployment. Originally from The Gambia, Dr. Christopher da Costa obtained his BSc. in Human Biology from the University of Zambia (UNZA), graduating with distinction. He then graduated MBChB from UNZA school of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Medical Microbiology, Immunology, Wound Management and Hyperbaric Medicine in the UK and USA. His direct patient care experience includes hospital medicine, critical care (ICU), wound care, and hyperbaric medicine. He holds Master’s and PhD degrees in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Immunology respectively, both from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (University of London), and an Executive MBA from Auburn University. He is a Fellow the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
Dr. da Costa has over 30 years’ experience in clinical practice on three continents: North America, Europe (UK) and Africa. He also has 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, primarily in vaccine development.
Dr. da Costa has held several academic teaching and research appointments, including lectureships at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff University), and a Faculty appointment at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in USA. He current works as a vaccine development project leader with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness and Innovations (CEPI), helping to enable global access to vaccines for COVID-19 and several other diseases with pandemic potential, particularly to ensure equitable access for vaccines to people in low resource countries. He is married to a Zambian and is based in the Greater Philadelphia area in USA.
Martin Angel Chikulo a 29 years old dynamic and inspiring youth who was born in Lusaka Zambia. His passion and love to help orphans and vulnerable children started at a tender age. Even at a young age Angel knew what his calling was so he committed himself in indentifying orphans and vulnerable teenagers/youths in different communities and schools in order to support their academics and other personal challenges like clothing, school uniforms, books, food etc. He has taken over 1000 children back to school through his Organisation called TAYA (Teens and Youths Ablaze). His passion is to see many vulnerable children have equal access to education and also empower them in other skills so that they can be financially independent when they leave TAYA programs. One of the program he has at his centre is GOAT farming in Kabuko village. He encourages young adults to learn how to rare goats and become Entrepreneurs in the future. He aslo works with children with Albinism by giving them an education and fighting for their rights. He has advocated on some Radio shows and TV as well.
Angel organises food drives, clothing drives and many more. And at his center, he caters to all ages including widows as well. Angel also runs an orphanage house called HOME OF LOVE were he houses and supports various vulnerable children from different back grounds of life. He currently only accommodates six young adults and the oldest twins are 20 years but still in 9th grade and the rest of the children only come for meals and educative programes. Angel also takes the challenge of visiting street children and supporting them through basic needs and spiritual support

Ayanah is an 11 year old that will be starting 6th grade in the fall of 2020. The daughter of Carl and Sarah Hill, Ayanah is a State/National/International Karate Champion, who trains under Sensi Jeff Kohn at North Shore Dojo in Glenview, IL. She has been training since the age of 5 years old and received her black belt at the age of 10. In addition to Karate, Ayanah also enjoys swimming, reading, drawing, and gaming. Ayanah aspires to one day be a Karate World Champion and an action movie star!

It does so through the tragically high numbers of black people who are in prisons and jails, in the disproportionate rates of incarceration of black people, in the violence of the tactics that governments have used to police communities of color, in the frequency with which black people’s encounters with the police end in death and in the infrequency with which police officers are indicted and convicted for killing black people.
Proof of this country’s racial hierarchy is everywhere. May we dismantle it in all its cruel, life-ending forms.

Anotida Chikumbu is a PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of History at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He currently tutors the history of ''Power and Violence in South Africa. He previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Economic History at the University of Zimbabwe where he taught ''Economics for Economic Historians'' and ''Labour History''. His broader research focus is on aspects of 20th century war economics, colonial military and labour history. He is particularly interested in the nature of internal conflict and the processes of post-conflict transition and particularly as they relate to states in sub-Saharan Africa. His primary research interest is the disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration (DDR) of ex-combatants, given the critical importance of (DDR) to the consolidation of post-conflict security and development. One of his most notable published works is Re-integration of Ex-combatants into Civilian Life: The Case of Southern Rhodesia, (Colonial Zimbabwe), 1939-1955. Chikumbu is currently working on the publication of a book entitled ''From Combatants to Contractors'' with the US Naval College: Rhode Island.
The activities pursed in Lukamantano Village are: • Educational project with a school where over 500 students (from preschool to grade 9) study and receive a daily meal, for many of them the only one of the day; • Health project with a Day Hospital, a mobile clinic that goes around villages to vaccinate children between the age of 0 to 5 years, a home care service and a service center for people with HIV / AIDS with administration of antiretroviral medication; • Social project that includes many activities aimed at creating employment and self sustainability such as carpentry, tailoring, milling, farming, a women club, youth club, distance support of vulnerable children and the creation of cooperatives among small farmers.
