🙏 Ep. 350 Count It All Joy✝️ Faith in Action📖 James 1:1–2How can a believer have joy in the middle of trials? James doesn’t suggest it—he commands it. True, biblical joy isn’t based on circumstances, but on what God is doing through them.In this message, we’ll see three reasons we can count it all joy:1. Because He Commanded Me – God calls us to rejoice, knowing He is working all things for good Romans 8:282. Because I Am Conditioned To – Trials produce endurance and strengthen our faith James 1:33. Because of Confidence in My Salvation – Our security in Christ gives us unshakable hope John 10:28🔥 Trials are not meaningless—they are shaping you, strengthening you, and pointing you to eternal glory.Join us as we learn how to respond to suffering with joy rooted in Christ.
🙏 Testing Your Faith✝️ Faith in Action📖 James 1:1–2Trials are not random—God uses them to grow and refine our faith. James calls us to “count it all joy” because every test has a purpose. In this message, we’ll see how God uses trials to:• Strengthen our faith 1 Peter 1:6–7• Humble our hearts 2 Corinthians 12:7• Turn us from the world 1 John 2:15• Fix our eyes on eternity 2 Corinthians 4:16–18• Reveal what we truly love Deuteronomy 13:3• Equip us to serve and help others 2 Corinthians 1:3–6• Advance the gospel Philippians 1:12–14🔥 What you’re going through has purpose. His Exaltation – The crucified Savior is now exalted above all Isaiah 52:13; Philippians 2:9–112. His Humiliation – He willingly suffered for our salvation Isaiah 52:14; John 19:1–33. His Rejection – He was rejected by those He came to save Isaiah 53:1; Acts 13:27–284. His Substitution – He took our sin so we could receive His righteousness Isaiah 53:4–6; 2 Corinthians 5:21Jesus took your place—come and behold the cross and the risen Christ.
🙏 Ep. 437 Christ is King The Triumphal Entry✝️ The Supremacy of Christ📖 Matthew 21:1–46As Jesus enters Jerusalem, He does not come quietly—He comes as the promised King. In Matthew 21, we see His authority, His purity, and His rightful claim over every heart. The crowds praise Him, yet many still misunderstand Him. This chapter calls us to examine how we truly respond to Jesus. In this message, we will see four key truths:THE KING DESERVES OUR PRAISE“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” (v. 9)THE KING DEMANDS HOLINESS“My house shall be called a house of prayer…” (v. 13)THE KING EXPECTS FRUIT“May no fruit ever come from you again!” (v. 19)THE KING REJECTED BY MAN WILL JUDGE ALL“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone…” (v. 42)Jesus is not just a Savior to admire—He is a King to submit to. 🙏 Ep. 436 Secure To The End✝️ The Supremacy of Christ📖 Hebrews 6:11–12True believers are called to persevere in faith until the end. In this message from Hebrews, we see that spiritual security is not passive—it is expressed through a life that continually responds to God’s Word. The writer of Hebrews warns against drifting, doubting, dullness, despising, and defying the Word of God. Instead, believers are called to remain anchored in Scripture, guard their hearts, grow toward maturity, and faithfully obey the voice of Christ.Because of the finished work of Jesus and the sealing of the Holy Spirit, those who truly belong to Christ are secure—but that security produces perseverance, diligence, and faithful obedience.Join us as we examine how a believer stays secure to the end by living a life that continually hears, trusts, and applies the Word of God.
🙏 Ep. 435 My Prayer for You✝️ The Supremacy of Christ📖 Hebrews 13:20–25As the book of Hebrews closes, we are given a powerful pastoral prayer and blessing. This prayer reveals God’s heart for His people—that He would equip us, transform us, and work through us for His glory through Jesus Christ. In this message we will see four things the writer of Hebrews prays for believers:🔧 That God Equip You With Everything GoodGod, the Great Shepherd who raised Jesus from the dead, provides everything we need to live faithfully and serve Him.🧭 That You May Do God’s WillThrough Christ, God works in us so that our lives align with His perfect will.❤️ That You May Do What Pleases GodA life of faith, walking in the Spirit, and obedience to Christ is what truly pleases the Lord.✨ That You May Do What Glorifies GodEverything we do—our actions, our words, and our lives—should ultimately point others to the glory of God.Join us as we look at this final prayer in Hebrews and consider what God desires to accomplish in and through His people.#BibleTeaching #BookOfHebrews #TheSupremacyOfChrist #Faith #JesusChrist #NorthparkBaptistChurch
ThanksgivingHebrews 13:15 reminds us that our worship is not occasional — it is continual. Through Christ, we offer the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that confess His name. Our gratitude is expressed in worship, bold proclamation, joyful thanksgiving, and faithful witness (Psalm 107:22; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; 2 Timothy 4:2; 1 Peter 3:15).2️⃣ Offer Compassion and CareTrue worship overflows into tangible love. Hebrews 13:16 teaches that doing good and sharing with others are sacrifices pleasing to God. Genuine faith expresses itself in compassion, generosity, hospitality, and practical holiness (1 John 4:20; James 1:27; Romans 12:13).3️⃣ Comply With Your LeadersGod has appointed spiritual leaders to shepherd His people. Hebrews 13:17 calls believers to obey and submit, recognizing that leaders will give an account before the Lord. We are to remember, consider, and imitate faithful leadership (Hebrews 13:7; Ezekiel 3:17; Jeremiah 13:20).4️⃣ Offer Prayers for a Clear ConscienceHebrews 13:18 highlights the importance of prayer for spiritual integrity. We pray for boldness in proclaiming the gospel and for lives marked by honor and a clean conscience before God and man (Ephesians 6:18-19; 2 Thessalonians 3:1; Acts 24:16; 1 Peter 3:15-16).Join us as we study how to respond rightly to the finished work of Christ — with praise, love, obedience, and prayer.
📖 Ep. 433 – WE HAVE AN ALTARThe Supremacy of ChristHebrews 13:9–14In a world full of religious systems, rituals, and substitutes, Scripture reminds us: we have an altar. Not a physical structure—but a Person. Jesus Christ is our altar, our sacrifice, our High Priest, and our only hope.🔎 1. JESUS IS THE ONLY ACCESS TO GODThe old covenant pointed forward as a shadow, but the substance is Christ. The law and sacrifices could never perfect the worshiper—but Jesus can. He is the greater and more perfect tabernacle, and as He declared in [[John 14:6]], He alone is the way to the Father.🩸 2. ONLY JESUS CAN ABSOLVE SINChrist suffered outside the gate, fulfilling what the Day of Atonement foreshadowed in [[Leviticus 16]]. His sacrifice was once for all. No repeated offerings. No additional payment. His blood sanctifies completely.🔥 3. GOD DESIRES ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCEThe call is not merely belief—but identification. “Let us go to Him outside the camp.” True worship is not empty ritual but a broken and contrite heart. Obedience is better than sacrifice.🏙️ 4. JESUS IS THE ONLY ADMISSION INTO HEAVENThis world is not our lasting city. We seek the one to come—the heavenly city whose builder and maker is God. Through Christ alone we are sanctified and welcomed into that eternal kingdom where the Lord Himself is the light.Join us as we continue through Hebrews and magnify the supremacy of Christ—the only altar, the only sacrifice, and the only Savior.
Ep. 432 – Remember the Word of GodThe Supremacy of ChristHebrews 13:7-9In a world filled with spiritual noise, shifting doctrine, and persuasive voices, believers are called to remember, guard, and stand firm in the Word of God.Jesus repeatedly warned that false prophets and false christs would arise to deceive many (Matthew 7:15-16, Matthew 24:4-5, [Matthew 24:24). The apostles echoed that warning, urging the church to watch carefully, test everything, and hold fast to sound doctrine (Acts 20:29, Romans 16:17, 1 Timothy 6:20, 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22).How do we remain steady?1️⃣ Belief in the Incarnation of JesusTrue doctrine begins with the right confession of Christ.Jesus Christ has come in the flesh (1 John 4:2).He is the eternal Word who was with God and is God (John 1:1).To deny the Son is to deny the Father (1 John 2:22-23).Orthodox Christology is not optional — it is essential.2️⃣ Genuine RegenerationThose who are truly born of God persevere in truth.“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).True believers continue in what they heard from the beginning (1 John 2:24).Departure from apostolic truth reveals an unchanged heart (1 John 2:19).Saving faith produces spiritual discernment.3️⃣ Information from God’s WordTruth is not subjective — it is revealed. All Scripture is breathed out by God (2 Timothy 3:16).Men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21).The safeguard against deception is not charisma, emotion, or novelty — it is Scripture rightly understood and faithfully remembered.Join us as we study how to remain anchored in Christ by remembering and guarding the Word of God.
📘 Ep. 431 — Living What I Have LearnedThe Supremacy of Christ📖 Hebrews 13:1–6What does a life shaped by Christ actually look like? Ep. 430 How To Stay Focused📘 Ep. 430 How To Stay Focused👑 The Supremacy of Christ📖 Hebrews 12:18–29In Hebrews 12:18–29, we are reminded that our focus is not on what is temporary or unstable, but on Christ and His kingdom. As believers, we belong to a spiritual kingdom, an eternal kingdom, and an unshakable kingdom. Because of this, we are called to live with gratitude, reverence, and faithful worship as citizens of heaven in a shaken world.

📖 Ep. 428 Divine Discipline Pt. IIThe Supremacy of ChristHebrews 11:5–11How should God’s children respond when the Lord disciplines them?Scripture is clear: God’s discipline is not something to be ignored, resented, or resisted—it is a gift of grace from a loving Father ❤️. Yet Hebrews warns us that we can “regard lightly” the discipline of the Lord by hardening our hearts, complaining, questioning God’s wisdom, or simply growing weary. In this message, we will examine the dangers of responding wrongly to God’s correction ⚠️ and the rich blessings that come when we humbly submit to it. The Bible shows us that divine discipline produces life, holiness, and the peaceful fruit of righteousness 🌱—results that could never grow apart from the Father’s loving hand.Even when discipline is painful, it is purposeful. God trains His children so that we may share in His holiness and experience true spiritual fruit 🍎. Do not lose heart—what God is doing in you is far greater than the moment you are walking through.Join us live as we continue to exalt Christ ✝️, trust our Father’s wisdom, and learn how endurance under discipline leads to lasting peace and maturity 🙏.
📖 Ep. 427 Divine DisciplineThe Supremacy of ChristHebrews 12:4–7Why does God discipline His children? Is it punishment—or something far deeper?Tonight we will see from Scripture that God’s discipline is never random or cruel. It is purposeful, loving, and rooted in our identity as His children ❤️. Through trials, correction, and even suffering, the Lord works to keep us from sin, grow us in holiness, and draw us closer to Christ. The Bible reminds us that the Lord disciplines those He loves, just as a faithful father disciplines his children 👨👧👦. Even when discipline is painful, it is evidence that we belong to Him and are being shaped for His glory.Join us live as we exalt Christ, trust the Father’s loving hand, and learn how divine discipline produces spiritual maturity and lasting hope 🙏✝️.
