Growing up, I always loved doing art, but I never knew what to create. I had this misunderstanding that creativity is either something you do or do not have. Over the last couple years, I have explored new tools and ways of pushing myself to make creativity happen, rather than wait for inspiration to strike. In this podcast, I talk with other creatives of all kinds--musicians, woodworkers, photographers, and more in order to gain insight into what creativity means and how one can foster it. My hope is that listeners will get bits and pieces from each guest that they can put together into their own creative practices.
@VectorBotTim is the creator of the VectorBots 1/1 collection and he’s also working on his generative collection currently. He’s been doing such an amazing job documenting his journey in order to share the behind-the-scenes of his process. He has also had a big role in planning and executing NFT.NYC. I admire Tim for his ability to just be crushing it while also being willing to share his secrets for success and lift others up in the process. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to talk with Tim about the creativity that has gone into his 1/1 collection, his generative collection, and his work at NFT.NYC.
This week, I had the pleasure of speaking with Corso, the Discord manager for VeeFriends! We all know and love Corso for the work he does with VeeFriends, but I wanted to talk about something quite different. For the last few months, Corso has been completing a daily photo challenge on Instagram. It’s been so incredible seeing his growth and watching what he creates. It was great to chat with him about his experience with this daily challenge and the role creativity plays in that.
Mya Parker is an incredibly talented and self-driven artist. She is the creator of Mya Parker NFTs and has her own podcast called the Adaptives. Through both her art and her podcast, she inspires her community to keep learning, creating, and growing.
