In 1984 a body is found on Calder Road in Galveston, Texas. Originally thought to be one murder becomes multiple as more bodies in the same area continue to be found. The open, non residential land is known as 'The Killing Fields'. The murders trace all the way back to 1971 as the hunt for a new serial killer begins.
Darya Nikolayevna Saltykova was a noblewoman of Russia who lived in the 1700s. She had everything she could want, money, land and power. But Darya liked to abuse her power over her serfs so much so that she would later be called 'The Tormentor'. Her brutal treatment of her serfs gained attention from the Empress herself, Catherine The Great. This case became a turning stone of the new 'Enlightened Russia' for nobles under Catherine The Great's rule.

The case of the Rostov Ripper was a groundbreaking and historic case that happened in the 70s and 80s. The Rostov Ripper is to this day Russia/ Ukraine's most prolific serial killer. So why is his name not widely known elsewhere? The politics, beliefs and lack of media/investigation training in the Soviet Union play a large part in this case and why it is so important to criminal history along with the brutal nature of the murders.

In 2018, a sleeping bag with human remains in it was found on the side of an interstate. David Carter was murdered and left behind by his girlfriend Tamera Williams. Despite the evidence against her, Tamera had a way of dodging police.
The Cell Block Tango and the jazzy female criminals singing 'he had it coming' were made famous from the hit musical 'Chicago' but the two leading ladies were made famous by real life women. Reporter Maurine Watkins visited Murderess Row in the Cook County Jail in Chicago, 1924. She wrote down the stories of four women accused of murdering their boyfriends/husbands and immortalized them by turning them into characters in her play. The true crimes they committed and the crazy, 'razzle dazzle' trials of jazz age crime are what captivates audiences to this day.
Charles Cullen was a respected, well liked and by all accounts, good nurse. His coworkers thought he was talented, kind and helpful to his patients. But detectives are able to connect Charles to a string of suspicious deaths of recovering patients from hospital to hospital. Nurse Amy Loughren helps detectives catch him before he 'ends suffering' at another hospital.
For a whole decade, a prank caller pretending to be a police officer terrorized employees of fast food restaurants across America. By pretending to be an officer, the caller would get unsuspecting managers to conduct strip searches on 'a suspect' that escalated into sexual assault on the young victims. It went on for a decade until two detectives were finally able to make way in the case.
In the last part of the 'Victim F' case, Aaron and Denise finally see justice as they push for Matthew Muller to get the ultimate sentence for his crimes against them. We see their lives as time passes and what they are doing now.
In part three of the 'Victim F' case, Denise and Aaron reunite and attempt to get their lives back on track. A new detective, Misty Caruso, helps in an investigation that finally identifies the 'Voice' and makes him the prime suspect rather than Aaron and Denise themselves.

When Denise is kidnapped, Aaron is left to try to convince the police to find her, but the police believe Aaron murdered her. In the last episode of A Sprinkle of Sugar, a Dash of Murder, we discuss the mystery of two 'unsolved' strange cases. The first is about the Dyatlov Pass, where 9 experienced mountain hikers all died in a gory, horrific and unexplained manner that leads to theories of radiation poisoning, avalanche or even the Yeti. Anna became the first woman in Ohio to be put in the electric chair for her serial murders of her boyfriends.

Dorothea Puente was a woman who was loved by her community for her charitable deeds, giving nature and generous donations. But she was secretly capable of theft, poisoning and murder. Dorothea took in people with no family and was able to pass as the 'friendly grandma' until someone finally asks questions.
Slenderman is a horror character that blew up in 2009 and inspired a video game and hundreds of stories and posts. In 2014, two twelve year old girls who were inspired by Slenderman took an obsession too far when they were inspired by Slenderman to attack another classmate.

The second case in our Doctor/Medical series is about serial killer neurosurgeon, Dr. Christopher Duntsch. Or as he is more commonly known, Dr. Death. Dr. Duntsch performed 33 surgeries with disastrous results. He mutilated, maimed and killed patients with no consequences for many years, leading to an investigation not just into him, but the medical community.
In part 2 of Dr. Cream's case, we flashback to Cream's earlier crimes in North America. Inspector Jarvis looks into what happened with Cream in London, Ontario in Canada, Chicago and Garden Prairie, Illinois.
