Altar of the cross CCC 1366 - The Eucharist is thus a sacrifice because it re-presents (makes present) the sacrifice of the cross because it is its memorial and because it applies its fruit: [Christ], our Lord and God, was once and for all to offer himself to God the Father by his death on the altar of the cross, to accomplish there an everlasting redemption. Wherever our cross is, there is our altar of sacrifice. There is where our offering during the consecration of the Mass becomes real, our sacrifice as real flesh, the real pain of our suffering WITH Christ’s. To come to the altar of sacrifice in the Mass without having lived my daily sacrifice in the altar of my home or work is a sterile sacrifice to the Father. The words of the Mass -through Him, with Him and in Him- must be lived daily in the ordinary and tediousness of my life, in the sacrament of the moment. It is only in this way that my sacrifice is truly pleasing to God and made perfect in Jesus’ sacrifice of perfect love. We have been chosen, called, by God to enter the most hidden life of Christ. This hidden life is in the depth of His Most Sacred Heart. This hidden life of Christ IS the continuation of His agony for souls. The deep suffering of the Heart of God cannot be expressed with words, but only in groans. Just as the Lord taught us that we can enter His wounds through our wounds, we can enter His groans through our groans. The shattered and broken lives of those we love the most causes in our hearts a pain so deep that we too cannot express it in words, but only in groans. It is in these moments of our lives that God permits that the Holy Spirit comes to draw us into the groans of Christ. It is then that we can perceive the groans of Love, and we are given the opportunity to participate in His groans for the transformation of humanity into Love. This MUST become the work of the MC and MOC. This work of participating in God’s suffering of love is the work that produces a hundredfold because it is the work of Divine Love! (Cf. Mt 13:9)

My remnant victim souls united as one with Me, Victim, with all the past victim souls and those of the future will battle the Beast in and through the power of My Cross. Persevere, My little one, in leading the few who have responded. Be ready to suffer with Me in this decisive battle for the salvation of countless souls. The Lord begins this message by letting us know that the “great battle for the salvation of the world has begun.” He wants us to be “steadfast in our mission and identity.” Our mission from the beginning has been a battle mission; warrior men and women. We have been formed through The Simple Path to Union with God as His victim souls for this great battle. And He lets us know that the victory has already been won. The Lord is again reminding us how we battle the Beast in the victory of Jesus’ death and resurrection, united as one with Mary. My remnant victim souls will battle the Beast in and through the power of My Cross The preposition “In” is of the utmost importance. A preposition sits before a word (noun or pronoun) to show the words relationship to another word. Therefore, the Lord is revealing to us the relationship that He wants us to have with Him.
The Lord desires us to be “in” the Cross. That means in Jesus crucified. In His Sacred Heart, crucified on the Cross. He does not want us next to Him, nor to remain at the foot of the Cross outside of Him. The entire Simple Path is the work of the Holy Spirit with Mary to bring us to be one with Love crucified, no longer two. To live “in” the Cross is to be a living Host, a living chalice. Therefore, to live “in” Christ crucified is to live continuously in the power of the Mass. Many people attend Mass at least once a week on Sundays, but few live the Mass continuously. It's the same as reading the Simple Path versus living and becoming the Simple Path. "The prayer of Moses responds to the living God's initiative for the salvation of his people. It foreshadows the prayer of intercession of the unique mediator, Christ Jesus." (CCC 2593)

Women of Courage Called to Battle MOC cenacle, 8/7/21 “I soon after saw Mary and Magdalen approach the pillar where Jesus had been scourged; the mob was at a distance, and they were partly concealed by other holy women; they knelt down on the ground near the pillar, and wiped up the sacred blood with the linen which Claudia Procles had sent. John was not at that time with the holy women, who were about 20 in number.” (The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Anne Catherine Emmerich, p. 225) White Cloth, 6/22/06 As I was praying the rosary, I began to see Mary interiorly, on her knees, soaking up the Blood of Christ. I then saw myself kneeling next to her, imitating her. Suddenly, I was prostrated on the ground over the Blood. I felt like if my body became the white cloth, and my body was now soaking up the precious Blood. I then saw Jesus laying on the ground, the way He looked in the movie, The Passion of the Christ, right after He was scourged. My right hand was extended forward as I laid there. I could see Jesus, but I could not seem to move. Mary then knelt between the two of us and placed the hand of Jesus on top of my hand, and she remained kneeling between both of us. White Cloth Soaking Up the Blood of Christ, 2/28/11 It was in the scourging that I lost the greatest amount of Blood. I was beaten by the hatred of the past, present, and future. I received the hatred of the world upon My Body. I, the perfect, pure Martyr of Love, took upon Myself all the hatred of humanity. The only antidote for hatred is love. My Mother soaked up My Precious Blood with towels representing her body as My living chalice. Mary Magdalene imitated her. You, My Mothers and Missionaries of the Cross, are also called to imitate My Mother. Allow your bodies to prostrate themselves on My Precious Blood, soaking up My Blood with your lives, thus becoming My living chalices. How, my Lord, do we do this? By loving when you are misunderstood, laughed at, judged, persecuted, condemned, ridiculed…. During your days, instead of talking so much, contemplate My Precious Blood on the ground and your bodies as My Mother’s living cloth soaking it up.
2/24/14 As I prayed before the Blessed Sacrament, I saw interiorly myself kneeling as I gazed at the face of Jesus crucified. Then Mary came next to me and placed a veil over my head, and she began to teach me about the meaning of the veil for women. I was not writing as she spoke; I was only listening. This is what I wrote of what I remember:
Veil – consecrated to God; pure, silent, consolers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus · We (MOC) receive the precious Blood that fell to the ground; the Blood discarded by hardened souls. · Mary collected the Blood on the ground (as in the movie, The Passion of Christ), the Blood that was going to be trampled, forgotten...This white cloth that Mary used soaked in the Precious Blood of Jesus is the veil of the MOC. · We wear over our heads the Blood that is being rejected by souls. · We suffer hidden in our hearts the hardness of hearts of many souls. · We are covered, anointed, by the precious Blood rejected by hardened souls. · We live consumed in these hidden sorrows, which are the groans of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. · We gaze at Abba as He gazes at His daughters consecrated in the rejected Blood of His Son, and we supplicate in Christ’s groans for grace for the most hardened souls.

The Pope and Remaining in the Bark Fr. Jordi Rivero, November 5, 2020 –updated 7/2021 Jesus gave Peter the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven and, even though He had to severely rebuke him, He confirmed his call. We need to remain with the pope in bark, even if we are troubled by some of his statements. The Lord has spoken to us many times about “remaining,” but not in the sense of remaining in the lazy comfort of a couch. St. Paul urges us to remain in the race to win, giving ourselves fully, even while facing what may appear to be impossible opposition. The tendency of the flesh, the temptation, is to give up or to despair. Today, I want to focus on a particular doctrine of our faith that is under attack: the supreme authority of the pope in matters of faith. As the storm becomes more threatening, sometimes due to the confusion generated at the Vatican, we may be tempted to abandon the bark or to close our hearts to anything that comes from the Pope. The devil is a brilliant strategist. St. Ignatius teaches that he studies our defenses to discover our weak points. The devil learns what doors are easiest to pry open to enter our hearts. If we are firmly pro-life, he is not going to attack us there. He knows where we hurt, what is disturbing us, and that is where his lies are most effective. He will then cause a problem and will try to make us react without trusting in God. When the Israelites saw the Babylonian army advancing on Jerusalem, they were terrified, so they went to Jeremiah seeking guidance from the Lord. He told them: “This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘If you are determined to go to Egypt and you do go to settle there, then the sword you fear will overtake you there, and the famine you dread will follow you into Egypt, and there you will die.” (Jer. 42:15-16). The Israelites did not listen. They saw a real danger and did not trust in the Lord. They did not remain in Jerusalem. Today, many Catholics are troubled by some shepherds who seem to be asleep as the wolves ravage the flock. They feel abandoned, and the enemy seizes the opportunity to plant doubts in their hearts. The result is that Catholics who not long ago would say, “we are with Christ if we remain with the pope,” are now separating themselves from the pope. What happened? They are being shaken by the storm within the Church. They were ready to battle against the world, but now they are facing a storm within the Church. Many are troubled by some of the pope’s statements. Satan then comes to set the trap by offering false solutions. I’m receiving messages of people who are aware of the spiritual battle going on and, finding no guidance from their shepherds, are seeking solace in messages that resonate with their concerns. But some of those messages are themselves problematic, and down the road incite anger and separation from the bark of Peter. Archbishop Viganó, for example, says true things, but also claims that, at the Second Vatican Council, “hostile forces” caused “the abdication of the Catholic Church” through a “sensational deception.” He further claims that “The errors of the post-conciliar period were contained in nuce (in a nutshell) in the Conciliar Acts,” thus accusing the Council of overt error.[1] He also refers to Pope Francis as “Bergolio” to avoid referring to him as pope. Let us be clear: If we only accept the popes we like we have become judges over the Church and do not believe that the Holy Spirit guides the Church. Even though the Second Vatican Council was pastoral and did not declare any new infallible doctrine, it is part of the Church’s magisterial teaching. Living in the Comfort of the Sacred Heart, Lourdes Pinto, June 10, 2021. The PATH teaches us how to unite our sufferings to the Cross, thus drawing us to share more intimately in the sufferings of the Sacred Heart. It is here where we receive the warmth of His comfort and come to know His love. Then our darkness is unveiled as we are purified through our sufferings and become the sweet aroma of Christ that comforts those around us.
In the Unity of the Trinity, Jn 17 Lourdes Pinto, 5/20/21
John 17 is a unique opportunity to see the nature and heart of Jesus. “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you” (17:1) It is the cross (see John 12:27-33, 13:30-33, 21:18-19) that will glorify the Son. The cross was utter humiliation to the world, but it was an instrument of glorification in God’s eyes. This is an aspect of the foolishness and weakness of the cross (1 Corinthians 1:18, 1:23-25).
“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.” (17:19) Jesus sanctifies (consecrates) Himself for us, meaning He sacrifices Himself to the Father for us. This perfect consecration of Jesus opened the curtain so that we can participate in the oneness of the Trinity. Yet, this entering into the unity of God is only possible if we, as the Body of Christ, voluntarily choose, for love of God, to participate in His consecration which is His sacrifice. Only through, with, and in Jesus crucified can we enter the inner chamber, which is the Heart of Christ, to live in the embrace of the Father with the Holy Spirit. “To men, the cross appeared an instrument of shame. To Christ it was the means of true glory.” (Morris) “But rejoice insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, so that you may also be glad and shout for joy when his glory is revealed.” (1 Peter 4:13)
“I am now rejoicing in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am completing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church.” (Col.1:24) “I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” (17:26) The prayer of Jesus in John 17 reveals Divine Love, the Trinity. It is the Holy Spirit, received from the pierced Heart of Jesus crucified, that brings us to KNOW the love of the Son and the Father. It is the Holy Spirit that brings me to PARTICIPATE in the deepest prayer and longing of the Son as I also pray: “Father, glorify your daughter as one with your Son so that your daughter may glorify you.” “And for their sakes I sanctify myself through Christ, with Christ and in Christ, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.”
I listen in SA at times to brothers and sisters complaining of their suffering, a tendency that I also see in myself. Yet the Spirit always moves me in spiritual accompaniment to see the glory of that suffering in Christ. If I am suffering great mental and physical exhaustion and this suffering in Christ is bringing graces to my LC family, is it not worth it to me? Is it not an opportunity to glorify the Father and Son? If someone is suffering physical ailments and that suffering saved their soul, is it not worth suffering in gratuitous love? If that physical suffering suffered through Christ, with Christ, and in Christ is saving the souls of their family, is it not an occasion to rejoice? Then why is it so difficult for us? We are complicated because of sin, and God is SIMPLE. The way to unity is simple, but for us, it’s difficult because of our brokenness, woundedness, self-centeredness, etc. Let’s journey the Simple Path from its beginning to the summit of unity in the Trinity to understand how God has been guiding us through His Spirit to union in Him—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Mystical Incarnation, Fullness of the Holy Spirit Lourdes Pinto, 5/13/21 “Unless one is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” (John 3:5) Abba, our beloved Father, did not send us His only begotten Son only to forgive our sins; He did not send Him only to open our eyes to see the Kingdom of God, but also to take us, through Christ crucified, into the Kingdom of God. It is not enough to want to see Jesus. John 12:21 – “They came to Philip and said to him, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” Jesus answers in a way that can seem odd to us: “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.” (Jn 12:33) It is not enough to see Jesus. Many people saw Jesus; they saw Him perform great miracles, and yet they didn’t become “witnesses.” They didn’t follow Him. “Though he had done so many signs before them, yet did not believe in him.” (Jn 12:37). To partake in the hour of Jesus is to ALLOW the Holy Spirit to unite us to His crucified love. The Holy Spirit desires to purify us so that we can ENTER the Holy of Holies; enter the union of Love. Jesus to Love Crucified: This mission is My thirst in the depth of My Sacred Heart for unity in Love. That is, unity in the love of the Most Holy Trinity. 6/12/12
A thick curtain separated the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place. This curtain was known as the “veil.” The word “veil” in Hebrew means a screen, divider, or separator that hides. What was this curtain hiding? Essentially, it was shielding a holy God from sinful man. The presence of God remained shielded from men behind a thick curtain during the history of Israel. However, Jesus’ sacrificial death on the Cross changed that. When He died, the curtain in the Jerusalem temple was torn from the top to the bottom. We can now boldly enter God’s presence, “the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.” (Hebrews 6:19-20) “Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body …let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.” (Hebrews 10:19-22) The Catechism CC #1239 teaches us concerning baptism: It (baptism) signifies and actually brings about death to sin and entry into the life of the Most Holy Trinity through configuration to the Paschal mystery of Christ.
It is the Holy Spirit that brings us into the Holy of Holies by uniting us to Jesus crucified. As we become one with The Crucified, which is becoming one with Love, through Him, with Him, and in Him, we enter the Holy of Holies into the Father’s loving embrace. We begin to possess the Trinity through Christ’s mystical incarnation in us. This is what it means to “enter the Kingdom of God.” This is “Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.” Jn 12:32 “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” The era of the Holy Spirit is approaching Message of Jesus to LC:4/21/21 The Holy Spirit is not known yet, but the era of the Holy Spirit is approaching. He is one with the Incarnation of Jesus on earth. The incarnation takes place through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father and Son; they are inseparable. When Jesus is Incarnated in Mary’s womb, the Holy Spirit is present as one in Christ. It is through the incarnation that Mary receives the fullness of the Trinity. She is the first to live the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. The Incarnation of Jesus brings the mystical (indwelling) of the Trinity on earth. This reality of the Holy Spirit is still not known, yet it is the reality that God’s saints of the end times will live to usher into the world the Kingdom of God. The Spirit at Work in the Shake-Ups of Life- part II Lourdes Pinto and Fr. Jordi Rivero 5/3/21 The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to us from His pierced Heart on the Cross where He hung as a total failure in the eyes of the world. The Holy Spirit is our closest divine Companion. He is our guide, teacher, spiritual director, friend, help, light … He is the Transformer. He is the one that consumes us in His fire of love bringing forth our death in Christ crucified so that we can then be raised with Christ as a new creation. As long as we hold on to our expectations about what constitutes our success, our being useful, even our holiness, we are blocking the Spirit. Think of your lives as a candle. Until the wick is lit, it is useless; its true purpose has not begun. When we “rekindle the gift of God that is within” (2 Timothy 1:6), we are set on fire with the Holy Spirit. He begins to consume us as a candle is consumed before the Blessed Sacrament. The Holy Spirit melts our pride, self-love, vanity, desires, plans, expectations, control, and attachments until our self has melted. We no longer live, it is Christ who lives through us, with us, and in us. The Holy Spirit transforms us into living hosts, and the Eucharistic Reign of Christ triumphs in us and through us. This is the great gift of the Holy Spirit. Our shake-ups, crisis, trials, burnout, whatever we wish to call it, is a BLESSING. A priest may be tempted to think that his greatness is measured by his abilities as a homilist, administrator, counselor, healer…. that, to be born again, to be a great priest, he must achieve the expectations of his superiors, or most often, his own disordered expectations. Yet God calls all of us to excel in a different way, by humbly embracing our misery, our brokenness, by accepting humbly our limitations. St. Faustina believed she was offering Jesus everything when she said: 1318 O my Jesus, in thanksgiving for Your many graces, I offer You my body and soul, intellect and will, and all the sentiments of my heart. Through the vows, I have given myself entirely to You; I have then nothing more that I can offer You. Jesus said to me, My daughter, you have not offered Me that which is really yours. I probed deeply into myself and found that I love God with all the faculties of my soul and, unable to see what it was that I had not yet given to the Lord, I asked, “Jesus, tell me what it is, and I will give it to You at once with a generous heart.” Jesus said to me with kindness, Daughter, give Me your misery, because it is your exclusive property. Perhaps that is the hardest to give the Lord. Yet the Lord loves us as we are. He knows our brokenness and will make us saints through our trusting surrender. To receive the gift of the Holy Spirit is to allow Him to complete this work of redemption in us with no resistance as the candle allows itself to be consumed by the fire. “You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit.” Acts 7:51 Holy Spirit, consumes all, transforms all, into Love, Message of 2/16/12 I Am the Light of God. The Fire in the burning bush that Moses saw was the Fire of the Spirit of God, the third Person of the Most Holy Trinity. It is My Fire of Love that consumes all and draws all into union with the Father through the Son. The gaze of Jesus is My Light penetrating your heart and being. The Words of Jesus are My Fire consuming you in Love and blessing you with wisdom, understanding, knowledge and fear of the Lord. Jordi Rivero, 5/3/21 John 3:1-15 “Unless one is born anew, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” (3:3) “Unless one is born of water and Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” (3:5) To see and to enter the Kingdom of God is our greatest desire. We pray daily, “Thy Kingdom Come!” But, like Nicodemus, we are tempted to doubt that we can really see or enter the Kingdom, given our brokenness and our sins. We have tried for years only to find ourselves frustrated and disillusioned. Jesus tells us that we enter the Kingdom by being born anew of water and Spirit. But we have been baptized, confirmed, ordained… and still do not seem to experience the promised new life. Those sacraments are essential, but something else is needed. We received the Holy Spirit through them, but we now need to allow a spark of His grace to release all that power. We learn from the saints who also had their trials, struggled, and experienced defeat. It was when their human efforts were exhausted, including their well-intended hard work for the sake of the Kingdom, that they finally abandoned themselves to God in a way that they were previously unable to do. God permits the shake-ups for a powerful release of the Spirit. You have suffered trials, and you may feel defeated. You are in good company. Look at Saint Ignatius of Loyola. He had lofty dreams, but his good plans were rooted in his ego, just like it happens to us. God blesses him with a great “shake up” and his life dreams are shattered. At first, he lived in anger, blaming, resentment and self-pity, but eventually, through the grace of God, he opens his heart for the Spirit of God to start a fire within him. A new vision, a new direction in life. The graces of his sacraments begin to be released in a new powerful way. He is “born anew.” His Spiritual Exercises, which you know well, are his experience of the process of dying to self y rising to a new life in the Holy Spirit which transforms him into a new creation in Christ. His Spiritual exercises are not a technique. St Ignatius believed that the Spirit guides the process and we need to learn to be attentive, listen and to let go of our expectations and control. It is a path of faith towards being born anew, to receive the first fruits of seeing and entering the Kingdom. The key to holiness is to trust in the Lord as He allows our own crisis in life to shake us up. Another exemplar of this grace is St. Alfonso Rodriguez. He was inconsolable when his wife and three children died. Then he lost his business and saw himself as a failure. The widower spent sad and lonely years in prayer, not knowing what good could come from his life. But God used this crisis to draw Alfonso into an intimate relationship with Him. He then wanted to give himself to God as a Jesuit but was rejected due to his poor health and limited education. He spent two years seeking the education necessary to become a priest, but again the fathers who examined him came to a negative conclusion. Finally, the provincial recognized his holiness and permitted him to enter the Society of Jesus as a brother. Did he finally achieve recognition in an influential position? No. Instead, he spent the rest of his life as a humble doorkeeper at a school. As St Alfonso abandoned himself to accept God’s will for his life, his daily seemingly monotonous and tedious work gave glory to God. Alfonso saw everyone who knocked at the door as the Lord himself. By letting go of his expectations for his life, he allowed the Lord to transform him according to God’s desire for his life and not his own. He became a saint who influenced many, including St. Peter Claver. God allowed St. Alfonso to be recognized as a saint so that we could discover the value of trials and the hidden life that all of us live, yet
You Always Resist the Holy Spirit (Acts7:51) Cenacle 4/22/21 “You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit.” Acts 7:51. St. Stephen, like Moses (Ex Ch 33-34), calls the Israelites “stiff-necked people.” They think they are God’s people because they are circumcised in the flesh, but Stephen points out that they have uncircumcised hearts. That is why they resist the Holy Spirit. The same is true for us. To be able to receive the Holy Spirit, our hearts must first be circumcised. God has given His mustard seed The Simple Path as the path for the circumcision of our hearts. This is the only way to become and grow as God’s people. A circumcised heart is open, exposed, and docile to the guidance of the Holy Spirit that can then take us into the Kingdom of God (JN 3:5), into the Holy of Holies, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to be consumed in the Trinity. It is the heart within us, not the exterior flesh, that needs to be circumcised. That is why God has not formed us with many exterior practices, such as endless novenas, consecrations, 40-day fasts, etc. It does not mean that we do not benefit from those practices. In fact, to begin The Simple Path, we prepare for 33 days for our consecration to Mary. Many in our community are consecrating themselves to St. Joseph. All these are indeed beneficial but are not enough. The Pharisees had many exterior practices, many prayers, cleansing rituals, fasts ... yet, Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit, calls them “stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in the heart that resist the Holy Spirit.” In our broken humanity, we can perform many exterior pious practices and live opposing the Holy Spirit because, interiorly, our hearts remain hardened and in darkness. All of us, to some extent, resist the Holy Spirit because of our self-willfulness, even though we are not conscious of it. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.” Mt 23:25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which on the outside look beautiful, but inside they are full of the bones of the dead and of all kinds of filth.” Mt 23:27 “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.” Mt 15:8-9 To live totally docile to the Holy Spirit with no resistance is to accept all, the good and the bad that comes to us, with complete abandonment and trust. This is to live in the will of God. We can only do this when we believe in God’s love for us, expressed in His passion and Cross. “The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Jn 3:8 JN 6:35 “I am the bread of life, he who comes to me shall not hunger and he who believes in me shall never thirst.” It is beautiful and significant that the Church united these two scripture passages, Acts 7:51 and Jn 6:35, in the liturgy of the Mass. What do they have in common? In order for us to believe that Christ IS the Bread of Life, we each must ALLOW the Holy Spirit to circumcise our hearts. The Holy Spirit desires to prepare our hearts so that the “Bread of Life” can enter our hearts. The Holy Spirit desires to empty our hearts so that the “Bread of Life” can fill our hearts. The Holy Spirit, according to our docility, consumes us in Himself so that we can love and desire Jesus Eucharist with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. The Holy Spirit is the Person of the Trinity that performs the circumcision of our hearts, thus preparing our hearts to be transformed through Jesus Eucharist into His living hosts. “He who believes” (Jn 6:35) What is required?...
Calm Dignity Amidst Great Adversity Lourdes Pinto, 4/15/21 Calm Dignity, Message of 3/16/21 The time is quickly approaching in which you will be judged as My followers. Do not be afraid, My little one, for I have walked this path before you. You too will approach your persecutors with “calm dignity.” The time draws near for the great sifting of mankind. All will have to choose to believe and follow Me or forsake Me and walk away. The few that remain faithful to their God and Savior will usher in the Eucharistic Reign of My Kingdom, but before this takes place, much blood will be shed. My little one, prepare My mustard seed for the great shake-up so that my remnant of followers can give Me testimony through their calm dignity amidst great adversity. Know that I am with you, guiding you and filling you with My life. Continue to persevere as My prophet of these end times… A Reflection on Jesus’ Calm Dignity: The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Anne Catherine Emmerich "He (Jesus) would have been perfectly unrecognizable even to her (Mary’s) maternal eyes, stripped as He was of all save a torn remnant of His garment, had she not instantly marked the contrast between His behavior and that of his vile tormentors. He alone in the midst of persecution and suffering looked calm and resigned, and far from returning blow for blow, never raised His hands but in acts of supplication to His Eternal Father for the pardon of his enemies." (p.187) "The brutal guards dragged our Lord up the marble staircase and led Him to the end of the terrace, from whence Pilate was conferring with the Jewish priests. The Roman governor had often heard of Jesus, although he had never seen Him, and now he was perfectly astonished at the calm dignity of deportment of a man brought before him in so pitiable a condition." (p.194)
Jesus is entirely abandoned in His Father. He lives consumed in the Father’s love—receiving His love fully and fully returning love to the Father. This divine embrace is the Holy Spirit, the fire of consuming love, the zeal of Jesus’ Heart. He knows the Father’s love and His perfect plan of Salvation. Jesus knows who He is as the Father’s Son. He also knows His purpose as the Son of Man: to fulfill the Father’s will through His death and resurrection. In this act of love, He glorifies the Father by making Him known to us so that we be saved. This consuming love is His driving force to complete His mission. His consuming desire is to draw each of us to Himself when He is lifted up on the Cross so that we can become a new creation. This fills Him with calm dignity. His calm dignity is expressed in His silence, a silence that holds within an intense and consuming love, a silence that is an expression of His agonizing prayer of intercession for us before the Father. His silence is His perfect Fiat to His Father and complete commitment to our Salvation. Through His silence, in His calm dignity, we can see and enter His gaze. It’s as if, His silence and calm dignity force humanity to enter His gaze, which draws us into His Heart, to be touched by Mercy. Jesus’ calm dignity during His passion reveals to humanity how He lives the commandment He gave His apostles during the Last Supper. "I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" (Jn 13:34-35)
This new commandment to love is placed in John's Gospel between Judas’ foretold betrayal and Peter’s denial. Jesus is teaching us, His disciples, that we must choose love as He did, in our most extreme pain, betrayal, and abandonment. The love of God will stretch your love beyond your physical capacities. The expansion of the tent of your hearts is a most painful process.
The Virtue of Poverty VI Poverty of Persecution Holy Week 2021 Lourdes Pinto & Fr. Jordi Rivero We have a Choice The rich young man, we read, “went away sad.” He had good reason to be. He had been loved by Christ, sought out by Him. He had received from Christ a silent declaration of love, in a single glance: “looking at him, Jesus loved him” (Mk10:21). His wealth prevented him from receiving it. (Poverty p.52) The choice is still open. The living, risen Christ is still walking by and calling people. It is up to us to choose between the two destinies: that of the rich young man or that of the apostles. (Poverty, p.53) “You cannot serve God and wealth.” In the account of Jesus’ birth, we see two starkly contrasting worlds: one symbolized by the inn, the other by the stable where He is born. The first world is all light, comfort, and activity; people are eating, drinking, enjoying themselves. Rich people dressed in lavish clothes, with heavy purses on their belts, dismount from their horses and come and go at will. In the Second World, on the other hand, all is poverty, darkness, cold, and discomfort. A young woman, silently accompanied by her husband, is about to give birth to her first child. They are forced to share bed and board with the animals. (p.59) Christmas is a mystery. His presence alone reveals two different worlds. And we are called to take a stand, to decide which of the two worlds we wish to belong to. (p.60) The Gospel never condemns earthly goods and riches in themselves. One of Jesus’s friends is Joseph of Arimathea, “a rich man” (Mt 27: 57). What Christ condemns is attachment to money and goods, trust in them as if “one’s life depended on them” (Lk 12: 15). Such wealth is variously called “deceptive” (Mt 13: 22), “foolishness” (Lk12: 20), an obstacle that brings the threat of “woe” (Lk6: 24). (p.62) An English businessman wrote: “Money is a tainted thing, and the only way in which I will not be tainted by it is to use it honestly and generously. I must see it as a means to do good for others and not as the foundation of my own happiness and security. I am only a steward called by God to use the talents and wealth that he has loaned me to build his Kingdom here on earth. I shall be judged for my stewardship and not for my wealth. I cannot use money to pay for a better lawyer, nor to bribe the judge. I can only use it to lay up treasure for myself in heaven by every little act of love and unselfishness towards the least of Jesus’ brothers and sisters whom he sent to me for help.” (p.70) We must live the virtue of poverty and let it challenge and judge us. Spiritual Poverty of “First World” “You say: ‘I am rich, I have prospered and I need nothing” (Rv 3:17) Today, behind that “you” lies an entire civilization glorying in its breathtaking technological achievements. It too is tempted to think of itself as rich, in need of nothing, not even God. This is why the risen Lord’s reply is for our world to: “you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked” (Rv 3:17). This is exactly the spiritual poverty of our so-called “First World”! Fr Raniero Cantalamessa, Poverty: Poverty and the Cross Poverty has followed Christ even unto the cross. It was here that He really “espoused” poverty. Henceforth one cannot choose the one without the other: neither Christ without poverty, nor poverty without Christ. (p49) If we observe the lives of the greatest lovers of poverty in the history of the Church, we see at once that love for Christ- the desire to “follow the naked Christ in nakedness”- as The Imitation of Christ says- lies at the heart of everything. (p50) In the light of all this, poverty appears not so much as a virtue or a council, or an aesthetical ideal, or even only as a charism, but as an intimate sharing in the mystery of the person of Christ, and by that very fact, in the mystery of His Bride, the Church. Poverty, the treasured Pearl · “the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field which someone has found … he goes off joyfully, sells everything he owns and buys the field” (Mt 13:44). Jesus says that the man sold everything, not in order to look for treasure, but because he had found it. Poverty is not the price we must pay in return for the Kingdom. It is the effect, not the cause, of the Kingdom’s arrival. (P.44, Poverty) · I have found the Pearl of great value- poverty. Jesus Christ, our God, becomes poor. The perfect expression of His poverty is his obedience unto the Cross. He is crucified naked. His nakedness is the ultimate expression of his poverty. He voluntarily allows Himself to be stripped of all his glory and power. The poverty of his nakedness reveals our pride, vanity, sensuality, self-love… When the treasured pearl of poverty is found in Jesus crucified, the soul must be willing to sell everything in order to possess this pearl. I must allow and cooperate with the Holy Spirit to strip me of everything that is mine – material things as well as the more difficult interior things: desires, expectations, securities (worldly as well as talents…), opinions, plans, reputation, knowledge, a total abasement. This can only happen through the burning flame of the Holy Spirit. – St John of the Cross calls spiritual poverty “nakedness,” which he defines as the renunciations of those goods which can remain in the soul, such as desires, appetites, and consolations. (p113, Poverty) – 2nd Nail of Purification: Simple Path To Union With God * Now we no longer feel His consolations as we used to, and we must walk in the darkness of faith in perfect trust. We still have emotions, but now, having experienced profound intimacy with God, our union is no longer contingent on consolations (2nd degree of poverty). The virtue of Poverty IV Lourdes Pinto, 1/30/18 Diary of a MOC, “Mission of the 12” (Mathew 10:1-24) My little one, I have chosen you to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God on earth. The mission is not easy, for the ways of God are never the ways of the world. All who are chosen by God to fulfill His plan on earth are hated by some, rejected by others, ill-treated, persecuted, for I came upon the earth to set one against another, for the ways of God will never be accepted nor appreciated by those who live for the things of this world. You have been asked by God to bring Him victim souls. A victim soul must fix his eyes on Christ, must desire with all his being to become one with his Master, must be willing to learn from Him and imitate Him. He must be willing to fight against all his disordered desires. This requires certain disciplines for my disciples: 1) “take no gold, nor silver, nor copper”- that means detached from the riches of this world, trusting that God will provide. 2) “no bag for your journey” –that means that My disciples must allow My spirit to detach them from all disordered attachments. (my Lord how do we know what a disordered attachment is?) Anything that weakens your desire for Me, distracts you from loving Me, takes your gaze from Me. 3) “nor two tunics”– My disciples must live simply as I did, poor, never in excess. 4) “nor sandals”– a life dedicated to sacrificial love, penance, renunciation. 5) “nor a staff”– My disciples lean on Me; I become their support; I lead the way. My disciples wear My yoke-the wood of the Cross, united to Me. I am their All. My disciples are the men and women consumed in love and desire for Me. They choose to live this way of life for love of Me and the consuming desire to be made perfect- which is to become Love. Only in this way will My disciples reflect the face and light of God in the world. These are my victim souls that possess the power of God on earth. Fr Raniero Cantalamessa, POVERTY The Old Testament introduces us to a God who is open “for the poor,” while the New Testament shows us a God who Himself becomes poor. Only the gospel tells us About God who makes Himself one of them, choosing weakness and poverty for Himself: “Though he was rich, Jesus Christ became poor for your sake” (2 Cor.8:9). The two essential components of the ideal of biblical poverty are now made clear: to be “for the poor” and “to be poor.” John Paul II combined both aspects in his catechesis on poverty: “The Church feels ever more strongly the impulse of the Spirit to be poor among the poor, to remind everyone of the need to conform to the ideal of poverty preached and practiced by Christ, and to imitate Him in His sincere and active love for the poor.” (p27)
Poverty in the Life of Christ (p36) - “Although (Christ) was rich, yet for your sakes, He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.” ( 2 Cor 8:9) - St Thomas comments: “He endured material poverty in order to give us spiritual riches.” Christ’s poverty is an aspect of His self-abasement in the Incarnation. - “became a victim for sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Cor 5:21) - Blessed Angela Foligno explains Christ’s three kinds of poverty: “Christ’s poverty was of three kinds: Christ, the way, the guide of our souls, exemplified the first degree of the most perfect poverty by choosing to live poorly and to be poor, bereft of all earthly possessions. TESTIMONY of Lilian Giraldo February 25, 2021 JESUS VISITS MY HEART VIRTUE OF POVERTY In the fourth week of our 2020 Lenten retreat, I had an enlightenment of sorts. I woke up one morning with great clarity about my wounds, took a notebook, and wrote sheets and sheets of them all. I was able to name each one and write down the lies and tendencies that stemmed from them. One wound, in particular, came to me with its disordered desires included. Before going into it, I would like to comment that the Lord has healed me a lot in this wound because I no longer react from the flesh but in His Love. I react from compassion and charity, knowing that my parents were also wounded and their parents too, and so on. God desires to restore humanity wounded by sin, and through this process, He has not only healed me, but He has also healed them. The Lord is doing wonderful work in my parents, and my soul moves in love and much gratitude to our Lord for it. This is the wound: It is called “I lost my voice.” Description of the wound: I experienced abandonment, neglect, rejection, violence, fear of being unprotected, and insecurity. I grew up as a very quiet child, adolescent, and young woman who could not express my feelings, worries, frustrations, and fears. I learned to live my pains in silence and solitude. The lies that stemmed from this wound are: No one listens to you, you have nothing important to say, no one cares about you, fend for yourself, be strong, don’t complain, don’t cry, you have to be someone in life, so you don’t depend on a man or anyone. Tendencies from the wound: It bothers me that they don’t value what I do, that they ignore me, that they reject me, that they don’t recognize me, that they don’t listen to me, that they ignore my look when I talk to them. Related disordered desires: I desire to be admired, recognized, seen, flattered, noticed, applauded. In that same Lenten retreat in 2020, the Lord let me know that he was crucified for me. It was very painful and revealing. It was a very real and personal experience. The knowledge we have of this was really embodied in me. During one of the retreat talks, Lourdes and Father Jordi spoke to us about Envy and Pride. I remember thinking “pride yes”; in fact, many times I have confessed it, but “envy no!” and when we were taught to all the unpleasant things that came out of it, I thought that I could suffer from it much less. These are the things we were told that a person feels in whom envy dwells in his heart: · Envy is a hidden reservoir of ingratitude and resentment that secretly applauds the downfall and sorrow of others. · The envious person becomes resentful if he perceives that his peers receive preferential treatment. · He attacks others through slander or gossip. · Brings tension in families or communities. · It pits the person against God’s will.
So, after hearing this, I said to myself: no, not envious! And here, the Lord was beginning to show me my false identity. The Lord has taught us that we have all made ourselves into someone we are not and that “The Simple Path to Union with God” leads us to find the truth of who we are. I was then receiving the gift of deep self-knowledge in this regard. And here I would like to share the following from pg. 45 of The Simple Path to Union with God - volume I: “The soul that receives the gift of self-knowledge and sees the hardness of its heart comes to a decisive point: it accepts this gift, or it remains in darkness. Receiving the gift of self-knowledge hurts; it feels like a sting.” Well, it took me almost a year more to accept this deep self-knowledge. The Lord continued to dig subtly in my heart, and in a recent accompaniment, he enlightened my companion so that we could deepen our understanding
Lourdes Pinto Growth in true poverty must involve both the works of mercy and the purification and emptying of our hearts. This reflection focuses, through the Gospel of Mathew 6:1-18, on the difficult process of the purification of our desires and the hypocrisy which lies hidden in all of us. Virtue of Poverty II 2/18/21 Poverty brings forth chastity, and chastity brings forth obedience, which is the essence of Love. (Simple Path #66, p.204) I. 63. THE PURIFICATION OF YOUR DESIRES —DIARY OF A MOC. P.187 The purification of your desires is the first stage of purification in My Sacred Heart. You begin to move only according to My desires and not yours. You no longer do what you want to do, nor go where you want to go, but now, you go only where I take you. You choose to live each day according to what is most difficult, not what is easiest. This will require a greater discipline of your will, greater silence, and stillness of soul in Me. • Saint Augustin- Our heart longs for God: - The entire life of a good Christian is, in fact, an exercise of holy desire. - By desiring heaven, we exercise the powers of our soul. Now, this exercise will be effective only to the extent that we free ourselves from desires leading to infatuation with this world. Let me return to the example I have already used of filling an empty container. God means to fill each of you with what is good, so cast out what is bad! If he wishes to fill you with honey and you are full of sour wine, where is the honey to go? The vessel must be emptied of its contents and then be cleansed. Yes, it must be cleansed even if you have to work hard and scour it. It must be made fit for the new thing, whatever it may be. •The virtue of poverty requires SACRIFICE because we must be willing to RENOUNCE to many things our flesh desires. – Example: 1st level of poverty - buying clothes and then returning them… – “Poverty consists in large measure in sacrifice. It means knowing how to do without the superfluous. And we find out what is superfluous not so much by theoretical rules as by that interior voice which tells us we are being led by selfishness or undue love of comfort.” (Interview with Saint Josemaria Escriva on the virtue of poverty) – “Detachment is the key. Are we attached to the material things we have, or do we entrust our riches totally to the Lord, knowing that He gives and He takes away? Practicing virtue requires hard work and sacrifice. Practicing poverty as a virtue does not necessarily mean ridding ourselves of everything we own of which we’re fond, but it does require a deep inward dive to ask an honest question: how would I respond if this phone, cherished book, painting from a child, picture of a deceased loved one, treasured necklace, workshop, car, house, etc. were taken away? We might think the Lord would only ask us to spare the things we have in surplus – clothes, books, toys, the extra-full pantry – but He often asks us to give or let go of that which is precious.” (Embracing the Virtue of Poverty in Your Own Life, By Kenzie Key) • 110. (Simple Path #66, p.204) I. 1/14/21 Aspire to be Poor in the World My ways are not the ways of the world. Meditate on My life and the life of the Holy Family. We were rich in the graces of ABBA, our Father but always poor in the things of this world. You cannot aspire in your hearts for both; that is why to follow Me, you must leave everything. You must aspire to be poor in the world and rich in virtue. · Luke 12:13-21 Parable of the rich fool • “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” (12:21) • Catechism of the Catholic Church 2547 The Lord grieves over the rich, because they find their consolation in the abundance of goods.340 “Let the proud seek and love earthly kingdoms, but blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.” 341 Abandonment to the providence of the Father in heaven frees us from anxiety about tomorrow. 342 Trust in God is a preparation for the blessedness of the poor. They shall see God. • Luke 12:29-31 “Sell your possessions, and give alms; provide yourselves with purses that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (12:33-34) • Luke 8:3 “and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who were contributing to their support out of their private means.” • Luke 11:42 “But woe to you Pharisees! for you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God; these you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.” • “True poverty should be an expression of faith in God and a sign that the heart is not satisfied with created things and aspires to the Creator; that it wants to be filled with the love of God so as to be able to give this same love to everyone.” (Interview with Saint Josemaria Escriva on the virtue of poverty)
II. DESIRES • 1/30/18 Diary of a MOC, “Mission of the 12”, Mathew 10:1-24 A victim soul must fix his eyes on Christ, must desire with all his being to become one with his Master, must be willing to learn from Him and imitate Him. He must be willing to fight against all his disordered desires. Do I truly desire with all my being to become one with my Master, one with Love crucified? What other desires are in the way? The mortification of the passions of our flesh is not enough in and of itself. This desire to mortify our disordered desires is the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, awakening in us the desire to grow in holiness, which is good and important, but our hearts still lack PURE LOVE. Our desires must be purified in the fire of the Sacred Heart of Jesus until our desires are one with His—the burning desire for the Cross solely for love of God and the salvation of souls. This ONE DESIRE—The Cross—is the perfection of all the virtues because it is pure love. Luke 12:49-50 “I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled! I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how I am constrained until it is accomplished!” Example: MOC moving close to her parents…. 63. THE PURIFICATION OF YOUR DESIRES —DIARY OF A MOC. P.187 The purification of your desires is the first stage of purification in My Sacred Heart. You begin to move only according to My desires and not yours. You no longer do what you want to do, nor go
Do I really want to repent? –Fr. Jordi Rivero v Repentance does not come naturally. Ø Without grace we do not see how incapable we are of knowing God and ourselves. Ø If we do not see we cannot repent. v Jesus asked His disciples, “who do people say that I am?”. Ø But not even the disciples knew. Ø Finally Peter says, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Mt 16,16. Ø But immediately, Peter reverted to his human thinking and objected when the Lord said He must go to Jerusalem, suffer and die. § Peter recognizes that Jesus is divine, but then argues with Him! Ø Jesus then tells him: “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance[https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+16&version=RSVCE#fen-RSVCE-27870i (i)] to me; for you are not on the side of God but of men.” v At the Last Judgement many who called themselves Christians will be condemned. Ø Mt 7:22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’ Ø Mt 25, 44 They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ Ø They knew God, they performed activities in His name but they were not of one heart with God. They had come to their own interpretations. v Today among practicing Catholics. Ø How many interpretations of what is right and wrong! Relativism. Ø What good is my opinion if it is a lie that keeps me from repenting and turning to God?
v To repent and turn to God we need: Ø 1-knowledge of who God is. § God wants to show Himself to us. § The problem is that we think we already know Him. § We have our opinions set.
Ø 2-knowledge of who we are and our true condition. § Only Christ can reveal to us our identity. § Until He does, we have a very distorted understanding of ourselves. § But He cannot reveal it to us unless we are willing to accept a truth that will shatter our false identity. § The love of Christ must pierce our fears and self-justifications. § Allow JESUS to bring our sin to the light. § The more we do, the more that Christ can heal.
v Repentance is not complete until we choose to change. Ø This can only be done with the power of the Cross Ø This means to choose to enter battle as ONE with Christ. Ø Christ conquered by persevering in love and obedience through suffering. Ø No other way.
v Our tendency is to avoid the battle and instead of repenting and allowing God to change us, we justify ourselves with exterior practices of the law.
v Paul writes: Phi 2,12 “continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling” Ø He knows the magnitude of the battle. Ø He understood the price paid for His salvation: CROSS. § Ponder the Cross. § The Cross reveals the gravity of sin AND the love of Christ. § Do I believe that my fallen condition is such that Jesus had to die for me?

Jesus reveals the Kingdom of God by revealing His heart but only those who remain as disciples through trials and ultimately the cross and are willing to renounce their expectations can receive the radical novelty of the Kingdom. What it takes to REMAIN and PERSEVERE Cenacle 1-28-21 Mark 4:10-12 (at the end of the Parable of the Sower) As soon as He was alone, His followers, along with the twelve disciples, began asking Him about the parables. And He was saying to them, “To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but for those who are outside, everything comes in parables, 12 so that “while seeing they may see, and not perceive, and while hearing, they may hear, and not understand, otherwise they might return and it would be forgiven them.” His followers remain when the crowd leaves. Ø They ask questions… Ø To them, the mystery is granted: the heart of God & His plans. § Mystery cannot be grasped by natural human ability: § “hidden from the wise and the learned” § The mystery not only is beyond human expectations, · But contrary to them. · The Kingdom is established in a hidden, unexpected way- through suffering and the Cross. v Is. 6:9. Context: God warns Isaiah that His message will be resisted. v God will not block their eyes and ears… they will block themselves to avoid hearing what they do not like. The implications of Jesus’ words are painful. There were only a few from the large crowd who were willing to REMAIN and GO DEEP with Jesus. It is to these who received the MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. While Jesus was on earth, the multitudes followed Him out of curiosity or to receive something they wanted from Him, but few remained and persevered with Him allowing His teachings to penetrate their hearts and bring them to repentance and conversion.

It is the same for you during these times of tribulations and great darkness – My hidden martyrs of love living in the knowledge of Divine Love through the Mystery of the Cross will shine like bright stars during the darkness of the great persecution. Persevere living as My hidden martyrs of the end times. “Fear no longer had a hold on them” doesn’t mean that we don’t fear, but that our fear no longer controls us. Divine Love moves us through our fear!

The time has come. The principalities of darkness will consume the face of the earth. Jerusalem will weep, for she failed to recognize the time of her visitation. All will suffer; many will be lost. It is time for you to get up and walk with Me, for I have prepared you to enter this battle. You will hold tight the sword I have placed in your hands. This is the sword that Satan fears; My sword of righteousness. (I asked the Lord how I am going to fight in this battle... I do not understand what these words mean...) In the same way I conquered this battle through the power of the Cross. My Cross is the sword of righteousness and everyone that enters in it (conquers) with the power of God.
In this reflection on “The Pieta” we discover our identity as women–Mothers of the Cross–to live the hidden martyrdom of the heart as Mary, our Mother of Sorrows. Like Mary, we must sacrifice our maternal hearts and participate as ONE in the sufferings... the pains...the tears and sorrows of Our Beloved— Love Crucified. We are called to enter and remain in the Mystery of the Cross, in the silence and hiddenness of our hearts.
Summary Christ's Blood is the gift of Himself, which contains the power of His love. It saves, restores, heals, and gives new life, it is present at every Mass, yet it has not been received. It has been trampled on. The world offers Satan more innocent blood. We are called to unite the blood of the martyrs with the Lord's, to be ONE with Christ, our Spouse, to shed tears of pure love with Him. This is the power that casts out evil and propitiates a New Pentecost for the salvation of the world. Message from the Lord: You are My beloved spouse of My Most Precious Blood. It is My Blood that refreshes the soul and brings forth new life in the Spirit. My little one, My Blood, poured out for mankind, has been trampled on. It has not been received as My gift of Myself to humanity. At every Mass, My Blood is present to you (pl.), to receive into your own hearts. This Blood is the power of My love for you (pl.). This Blood is sacred, for it is the Blood of the Lamb of God who voluntarily laid down His life for you (pl) so that you can be free. Yet My Blood has not been received. Your tears are one with My tears and Mary’s, for the wrath of God is upon the earth. My Blood saves, restores, heals, and brings forth new life. Yet the world has chosen to give their good God the blood of the most innocent, My little ones in the wombs of their mothers, and the blood of the slaughtered innocent ones on the streets of the world. This is the blood of Satan, the blood of evil. You have been chosen by the Father to bring to God the blood of My martyrs of love; the blood shed with tears of pure love as one with Me. This blood hidden to the world has the power to cast out evil and usher in the reign of peace. Continue to unite these pure martyrs of My Divine Love to save the world from utter destruction.
United to Jesus in His groans we speak the truth in love. Part II Warn and Awaken My People in the Spirit of Love At the “deepest recesses” of our hearts are our intentions. The Sword of the Spirit, Jesus Christ, desires to expose our true intention; to become naked to ourself and God; an intention that is no longer veiled with falsehood—lies, disordered desires, fears, malice, evil. · “Remove from me the way of falsehood” –Psalm 119 This episode from the life of St Paul (1 Cor.5:1-8) reveals his intentions of heart and those of the Christians of Corinth. St Paul acting in Christ as the “sword of the Spirit” exposes the intentions of the people and at the same time witnesses pure love as a man transformed in Christ. The spirit of love vs. the spirit of the world Spirit of love “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23) “Let us have no self-conceit, no provoking of one another, no envy of one another.” (Gal.5:26) ⇩ ordered tendencies ⇩ Sincerity & truth- transparency, open & fully exposed to Christ, tears of mourning(groans) for my personal misery & for that of others (“In the pure groans of Christ there is no criticism, murmuring, envy, resentment, but only love” Hector Ramos), silence VS. Spirit of the world “Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness (promiscuous), idolatry, sorcery, enmity(state or feeling of hostility), strife(angry or bitter disagreement over fundamental issues), jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension(disagreement that leads to discord), party spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing” (Gal. 5:19-21) ⇩ disordered tendencies ⇩ malice &evil - murmuring, gossip, hiding, separating, complaining, criticism, control, talk too much, judgments without mourning ≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈ The hypocrite has the spirit of the world but pretends to have the spirit of love. He keeps his intentions hidden even from himself, and of course from God. He lives in DENIAL, and therefore, stuck in his own darkness, chained in his own lie, he is unable to be set free. Jesus taught us to “live wrapped in the gift of self-knowledge”, and in this way, in a PERMANENT STATE OF REPENTANCE! In order to live in the groans of Christ we must live in the groans of our misery. A litmus test to know if we are truly living The Simple Path led by the Holy Spirit is whether or not we find ourselves more and more in a permanent state of deep repentance. The sorrow of our hearts knowing and suffering our misery is expressed in continuous groans. When we sit before our Lord in adoration and the tears of our hearts swell to the surface because of our inability to love unconditionally with pure intentions, then we have come to know the groans of Christ for us and are able to live His Words, “RECEIVE MY TEARS.” We can never separate ourselves from humanity. We cannot read Galatians 5 and see others in the category of the “spirit of the world” and ourselves in the category of the “fruit of the Spirit.” This is hypocrisy. We must live in the knowledge that the spirit of the world is in each of us and that even if we have grown greatly in the spirit of Love, we can easily fall back into the spirit of the world; this is our misery. Questions that can expose the condition of our hearts: · Is it difficult for me to confront others with truth, to be sincere and transparent? Specifically, with who? Why? · When the sins and disorders in others wound me, do I feel intense sorrow for them or is my tendency to judge, condemn, get angry, resentful, frustrated, separate from them? Am I able to see that same sin in the other person that wounded me in myself?
This reveals the condition of my own heart—the darkness of evil or the light of love. It is
Jesus: "Can you hear My groans that come forth from the depth of My Crucified Heart? The groans of My agony of love. Listen to My groans of love. “WARN AND AWAKEN MY PEOPLE” 9/24/20 Part I – Groans with Christ 1 Corinthians 5:1-8 “It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and of a kind that is not found even among pagans; for a man is living with his father's wife. 2 And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. 3 For though absent in body I am present in spirit, and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment 4 in the name of the Lord Jesus on the man who has done such a thing. When you are assembled, and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, 5 you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed. 8 Let us, therefore, celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” St. Paul admonishes the Christians of Corinth because they are acting from the spirit of criticism which St. Paul calls “arrogant” (5:2), “boasting” (5:6) and the “leaven of malice and evil” (5:8). St. Paul sees the impurity of their intentions. They are condemning and judging the sinner without profound mourning of heart for the death of the soul of their brother because they lack love— “Ought you not rather to mourn?” (5:2) Listen to My Groans —Diary of a MOC. p.225 Can you hear My groans that come forth from the depth of My Crucified Heart? The groans of My agony of love. Listen to My groans of love. (3/11/12) Living Tabernacle of God —#78 Diary of a MOC.[1] To be one with Me means that you become the living tabernacle of God. My loving, pulsating Heart lives in you as one with you. You feel My sorrows and participate in My groans for the fulfillment of humanity's transformation into LOVE. · Example: the episode of The Chosen in which a Pharisee listens to Jesus teach the crowd, but he is stuck in his own perceptions, understandings, hardness of heart and therefore calls the Roman officers to arrest Jesus. Yet Jesus gazes at him with “tenderness in mercy” which flows from the groans of His Sacred Heart. · It is first and foremost from Jesus’ Heart suffering the intense groans of the condition of the hearts of the Pharisees that then He is able to speak the truth with sincerity and boldness: In Mathew 23: 13-36 Jesus speaks the word “hypocrite” 6X confronting the darkness in the hearts of the Pharisees. He also calls them “blind guides”, “whitewashed tombs”, “dead men’s bones” directly to their faces. He speaks in LOVE the truth: “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." St. Paul’s words, in the aforementioned letter to the Corinthians, reveal his restored manhood in Christ moved by the Spirit of Love. He admonishes both the community and the sinner severely, “you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh” (5:5). He excommunicates the man. This might seem very harsh to us, but the severe punishment was in order to humiliate the man, to bring about the taming and eradication of his lusts so that his spirit could be saved. Our vocation is to adore the Eucharistic Jesus. Evil grows in the world due to indifference towards the Eucharist. EUCHARISTIC REIGN Lourdes Pinto, Cenacle 9/10/20 The sin of indifference to the Eucharist. 3/7/15 As I adored Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, He allowed me to see Him crying. I was moved to a profound sorrow of heart as I gazed at His tears. "Why, my Lord, are you crying?" I asked. He cries for the sin of indifference to His presence in the Eucharist. He explained that there is an even greater darkness than the darkness of all the evil of the terrorist, and that is the darkness of the indifference to Jesus alive and present in the Eucharist. This darkness leads and opens the way for the darkness of evil to spread and grow. Because of this sin of indifference to His Eucharistic life, we will live a time when we will not have Jesus in the Eucharist.
Love Crucified has the mission from God to prepare ourselves and the world for the new Pentecost that will bring forth the Eucharistic Reign of Christ. What is the Eucharistic Reign? Jesus tells us in His message 11/27/18 to the Love Crucified community: My Eucharistic Reign will be a time of peace in which My presence will be seen through My living hosts. These lights in the world will shine brightly, and many will come to know and love Me in the Eucharist, thus making My Eucharistic presence the center of their lives. I will be known, adored, and glorified in My Eucharist through the impulse of the Holy Spirit.
The Lord in that same message tells us that "The Path has been entrusted to us by God as a gift of His Divine Mercy to prepare us and the Church for what is to come." "This Path is the preparation of the saints, the victim souls who will endure these end times and usher in the Reign of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Christ's Eucharistic Reign." The Path is the grace of Divine Mercy to awaken, illuminate, purify and transform us into the Light of God in the world, His living hosts. That is why the Lord encourages us to "recommit ourselves to live with greater faithfulness and zeal the Simple Path to Union With God." The Eucharistic Reign is the reign of Love, and it is expressed in the radical Gospel of Luke 6:27-36 – Love for Enemies: "But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. 29 To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. 30 Give to every one who begs from you; and of him who takes away your goods do not ask them again…32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them… (You have to choose to love those most difficult to love. You must always choose love, patience, and tenderness and never give in to anger and resentment. Path p.294) 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish. 36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

There is only ONE intercessor before the Father: Jesus. But He gave His life so that we be ONE with Him, thus intercessors in Him and with His power.
Your power of intercession lies in your willingness to suffer ALL that I permit in your lives as ONE in My sacrifice of love
The intercessory attitude is proper to the saints who, in imitation of Jesus, are ‘bridges’ between God and his people.
The Lord wants to prepare us to be prophets and prepare others for the illumination, but we must be focused and allow Him to transform us.
Prepare your hearts and souls in deep prayer, silence, and in the love of pure suffering, for the time of God’s justice is at hand. PRAY UNCEASINGLY; FOR THE BATTLE HAS BEGUN Lourdes Pinto, 6/25/20 Mathew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?’ 23 Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.’ Jesus' message, cenacle of the first Saturday of June MOC– 6/6/20 Jesus spoke these words in my heart to all the MOC: The time has come in which the principalities of darkness will consume the earth; the terrible day of the Lord. The demons have no power over you (plural) and My followers. My mothers (MOC) must remember that during these dark times, your prayers lived with perfect trust in Me have the power to aid in the protection and salvation of many souls otherwise destined for hell. The battle is fierce, but My little one, you hold the Sword of the Spirit. Your hearts purified, emptied, and formed as My victims of pure love, one with My Mother of Sorrows, is the power of God to cast into hell the principalities of death. Give yourselves to prayer and silence as My warriors preparing and saving souls, for the moment of judgement is upon the world. Do not waste time with any frivolity for the decisive battle has begun. Pray, pray, pray, pray unceasingly, for your prayers, as one with My Mother’s, have great power before the throne of our Father. He hears the cry of the poor.
Your Life Is a Prayer —Diary of a MOC. #97 –Simple Path p.278 I say your life is a prayer, [I mean that] your life is an offering. To offer Me your life is the perfect prayer. Your thoughts directed to Me, directed to love, is a prayer. Your desire to know Me, love Me, and serve Me is a prayer. Your touch is a most beautiful prayer. Your words of encouragement and love to others are a prayer. Your efforts to bring peace and unity to your families are a prayer. Your smile is a prayer. But your most perfect prayer is your pure suffering united to Me and My Mother. The prayer of pure suffering is the sweetest fragrance that reaches and delights the Heart of our Father. This is also the prayer that produces an abundance of fruit. This is the prayer that is most united to Mine as I intercede before the throne of My Father. This is why My Mother’s suffering of solitude produced and continues to produce showers of graces upon the world. I wish the Mothers and Missionaries of the Cross to be perfected in the prayer of suffering. But my Lord, what about contemplative prayer and the prayer of praise? It is through contemplative prayer that you come to know Me and the prayer in which I fill, guide, and form you, but it is the prayer of suffering in which you honor, console and love Me, and participate in the redemption of souls. In this talk, we come to understand the importance of preparing ourselves to embrace, and even come to desire, the tribulations of our lives as opportunities to grow in deeper union with the love of the Most Holy Trinity. The union of sorrows will bring you into the union of Love… Jesus compares the life of His followers to a woman in labor pains. The labor contractions are a wave of highs and lows. The contractions peak =–pain. But then they come down = rest. Our life on earth is meant to be lived in desolations and consolations. During labor, it is the painful contractions (desolations) that bring forth the child's birth. It is the mother’s love in her willingness to endure the pain that brings forth new life. This also applies to life; it is mainly in the times of desolations that we are purified, grow in virtue, come to know the goodness of God and to know ourselves, and grow in dependence and trust in God. It is in times of desolation that we are able to prove our love for God. The desolations lived in union with Christ, with trust and hope, bring forth a new creation in us, but also, it is the means to bring new life to others. Desolation United to Me —#69. Diary of a MOC. p.210 In times of desolation, your life has the greatest power and is most fecund. In My desolation on the Cross, My life shone most brilliantly the love of God the Father. My desolation made My faith in My Father radiate its perfection. -Through My desolation, I gave birth to My Church and all her sacraments. -Through My desolation, I gave birth to all My sons, My priests. -Through My desolation, the Holy Spirit expanded the maternal Heart of My Mother to embrace all of humanity. -It is in your times of desolation that the Holy Spirit and My Mother wish to unite you more intimately to Me. -It is in your times of desolation that you are given the opportunity and grace to suffer with Me. -It is through your desolation that you can come to know the pain, suffering, and love of My Heart. -It is through your desolation united to Mine that your life will also be most fecund. My desolation was so important for the salvation of the world that the Father willed for My Mother to continue suffering My desolation on earth. Her suffering of solitude was her continuation of My desolation, and it produced and continues to produce a shower of graces for the world. I desire for the souls who love Me to live their times of desolation united to Me and completely abandoned to the Holy Spirit. A solemn (serious, sincerity) promise, fortified by an oath, concerning future action. The oath might be expressed in words or in symbolic action. A covenant is more than a mere impersonal contract, in which two parties agree to an exchange of goods and services. A covenant binds persons together beyond the mere contractual agreement. Marriage obviously binds two persons in a unique way, but all covenants bind persons together in some way.
Lourdes Pinto — The Lord's message of 3/21/20 Receive My tears as one with Mary’s. The world continues to live detached from God. This state of humanity is what is empowering Satan and all his dominions. The darkness is Satan and all his lies. The darkness is his evil that only desires to destroy lives. I shed tears as I continue to watch humanity not turn their gaze towards Me. My little one, the world must be brought to its knees. When they lose everything, then some will turn to Me. This is the time of great mourning, but also of hope, for the God of Mercy will intervene and give humanity a last chance to repent. I desire My faithful mustard seed to cry with Me and suffer as one with Me to obtain the graces of repentance for many souls who otherwise will be lost for all eternity. Do not fear, for I am with you. You (LC) have found favor with God and He listens to the cry of your hearts. Remain faithful to all I have taught you; Remain faithful to how I have formed you, for the power to defeat Satan and all his principalities is only through Love. Remain steadfast as I continue to guide you on the path of total transformation in Me, and you(LC), along with My faithful remnant, will defeat Satan and cast him into hell and usher in My era of peace. Remain faithful in living and teaching My path to the few willing to be transformed into Love. Remain to console My Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of My Mother as the Light of the world is hidden for a certain amount of time. It is now the time I have prepared you to be My light, for I live in you (plural). Be at peace as the darkness grows darker, for God will save the world through His little remnant of victim souls. Tell My community to seek Me and find Me hidden in their hearts, for I will reveal, at the designated time, My light through My living hosts. Know that I am pleased with the few that have responded to My call for these end times. Know and rejoice that you are counted among the few, therefore, continue to persevere on the path of crucifixion so that the salvation of the world can be fulfilled through you, with you and in you—My apostles of the end times. I bless you (pl.) with My precious Blood and My Mother’s tears for the fulfillment of My mission.
At a time where many churches throughout the world are being closed, the Lord is forming and preparing us to be His living hosts in the world. He desires our homes and families to become His sanctuaries, where He is adored and glorified so that His presence can be truly alive in our hearts and in the world. As St. Joseph and the Blessed Mother, let us live united to the Will of the Father, in hidden prayer and deep silence as God's pure victims of love to pierce the darkness that surrounds us with the Light of Christ!

Let us enter this season of Lent, a time of mourning, a time to delve into a deep purification of heart and sincere repentance before God. Only by coming to know our true misery, can we begin to be transformed more perfectly in Love. Let us not just pray the Stations of the Cross, but like Mary, live the Stations as ONE with Jesus, in His agony, His cry, His silence, and in His humility. SUMMARY We are invited to ponder each station of the cross during lent, living them with Jesus. The first station is used as an example. PURE INCENSE The prayer of the saints Revelation 8 • Only the Lamb (Jesus) is worthy to break the seven seals and open the scroll that contains the revelation of God’s rescue of His people and the establishment of His kingdom. It was the Lamb who accomplished it at the Cross. • The response to the breaking of the seals and the revelation of the Lamb’s victory is to adore silence – as during the consecration at Mass. • Seven angels prepare to blow trumpets: The trumpet blasts herald the events that will follow. (Think of Jericho’s wall coming down when the trumpets were blown) • But before the angels blow the trumpets, • The saints’ prayers are offered before God’s throne in a censer. The saints are participants in the victory of the Lamb because they gave their lives with Him. Rev 7:14 “These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Now they are like pure incense pleasing to God. • The prayer of the saints have a powerful effect upon the earth (thunder, rumblings, earthquake) • We are called to be among those saints. While not all shedding blood, we can share in the interior martyrdom of the Lord. 39. Martyrdom of the Heart —Diary of a MOC. The martyrdom of the heart is the martyrdom of suffering with Love and for Love. My daughter, if you could only understand the fruit of the martyrdom of suffering, you would desire nothing else on earth. The hidden life of suffering with Love and for Love is of far greater worth than great and small works tainted with human recognition. Believe in the hidden force contained in the martyrdom of the heart. This is the purest fragrance of love that has the power to conquer the enemies of God. (11/9/12) • Like the prophet Ezekiel (2:9–3:3) and John (Rev 10:9)), we are called to “eat” the scroll: to assimilate the scroll (What Jesus has revealed, the power of the Cross) until we become one with Him and become witnesses to the truth it contains even though it may be bitter before it tastes like honey. • Likewise, to live our covenant fully in Love Crucified, the Simple Path, pg. XVIII tells us: “You have to “eat” The Simple Path like Ezekiel ate the scroll in the presence of God.” • Prayer is: Silence, praise, “eating” the Word. — Prayer is not only words: our life must be a prayer. — It is a new life in Christ, giving our lives to the Father as victims of love — This is to be poor in Spirit. — Faithful during trials — Believe in the power of our prayer because Christ continues His work through us. —The process of living the Path is to achieve this.

You (plural) are My saints of the end times united as one with the holy saints in heaven. Because My saints on earth are united to My sacrifice of love in your abandonment to suffer with Me, your prayers are powerful before the throne of Abba. Know, My little one, that your prayers are continuously before the throne of our Father as pure incense. He delights in your prayers, and He hears the cry of the poor. The poor are not only the poor of body but also the poor of spirit – those who have died to themselves so that I can live in them and through them. Much affliction must take place on earth because of the rebelliousness of the human heart, but God, in His infinite mercy and goodness, will bless the prayers of His saints –past, present, and future -- and establish His Kingdom on earth. Be at peace with complete abandonment to the God who loves you and listens to the cry of the poor. Persevere in your own crucifixion for the glory of God and the establishment of His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Go in peace to be My Light in the world. · Pope Benedict XVI: Simple Path p. 275 We see in this image that God is not indifferent to our prayers; He intervenes and makes his power felt, and His voice heard on the earth. Lourdes explains, through the life of St. Faustina, how the light of God wants to reveal to us our misery so that, through this knowledge, we may enter His mercy. When we come face-to-face with our misery we begin to live totally dependent on God and the fruit of this grace is freedom and joy. MISERY DRAWS US INTO MERCY Cenacle October 17, 2019 I. Fr Ron's teaching on TRUST (9/17/19): - "The distrust of a chosen soul causes me even greater pain." #50 St Faustina - We who want to be one with Him, to suffer with Him, can then be the cause of His greatest pain if we do not trust. - EXTRAORDINARY TRUST – We cannot have a half-hearted trust - No answer or an answer we do not want is also an answer from God if we trust in Him. Trust doesn't mean that everything I want has to work out that way from God. - Continuously check our barometer of trust. · In what areas have I failed God through mistrust? · EX. – my not trusting – doubt – in what God said to my heart in my weekly silent retreat · What is the level of my trust in Divine Mercy? · Signs of lack of trust § Anxiety/worried § Overanxious in situations in families, work, community… § Doubting § Discouraged § We always get caught up in the horrible things that could happen… child leaves church… I hope we are discovering that it is IMPOSSIBLE for us to have PERFECT TRUST through our own doing. It is the work of the Holy Spirit. II. Knowing our misery draws us into Mercy - Coming to receive the self-knowledge of our lack of trust brings us to know our misery. (You must live wrapped in the gift of self-knowledge) · #56 St Faustina's Diary: I know very well what I am of myself because, for this purpose, Jesus has opened the eyes of my soul; I am an abyss of misery, and hence I understand that whatever good there is in my soul consists solely of His holy grace. The knowledge of my own misery allows me, at the same time, to know the immensity of Your mercy. The Spirit of God moves the pure and humble of heart to serve as handmaids of the Lord in the awareness of who God is and in the immensity of God’s love. Mary our mother, most perfectly manifested the tenderness of the Father through her silence. Her gaze reflects the gaze of the Father. God desires for us to come to this same intimate knowledge of Him and through silence become like Mary, His gaze of love in the world!

Þ Today we shall focus on how to correct our hypocrisy Þ Our victory over hypocrisy will never be a victory at the outset. Unless we have reached a very high level of perfection, we cannot instinctively avoid feeling the desire to appear in a good light, to make a good impression, and to please others. Our weapon is the correction of our intentions. Righteous intention is attained through constant, daily correction of our intentions. The intention of the will, not an inner feeling, is what makes the difference in God’s eyes.
Þ Living the Simple Path brings us to an ATTENTIVENESS OF OUR HEARTS so that we can correct the intention of our hearts. Notice that all our disordered tendencies flow from impure hearts.
Þ Ex: a MOC shared that her tendency is to enter resentment and revenge and act from those emotions when her expectations of people are not met. Correcting her intentions means she: 1st - must be attentive to her heart and docile to SEE this impurity; 2nd – enter SILENCE to deny herself - “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23 –CRUCIFY HER DESIRES -- those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Gal.5:24)
- The Purification of Your Desires —Diary of a MOC. p.187 The purification of your desires is the first stage of purification in My Sacred Heart. You begin to move only according to My desires and not yours. You no longer do what you want to do, nor go where you want to go; but now, you go only where I take you. You choose to live each day according to what is most difficult, not what is easiest. This will require a greater discipline of your will, greater silence, and stillness of soul in Me. What desires in me need to be crucified? Can be disordered tendencies such as: Desire to separate, Desire to act on resentment, Desire to “bite” -- If, however, you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another. (Gal.5:15) Desire for comfort, Can be good desires that God has not willed to grant us: Desire for intimacy of heart 3rd – Third step: Repent before Christ – TRANSPARENT/ NAKED – Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Þ This is INTERIOR WORK that is REAL, and that authentic people do, and because of that it is very pleasing to God. It is what Fr Cantalmessa says in these words: “The intention of the will, not an inner feeling, is what makes the difference in God’s eyes.” Þ If hypocrisy consists in making a show of the good that one does not really do, an effective remedy to counter this tendency is to conceal the good that one does, to favor the hidden gestures that will not be spoiled by any earthly gaze and will keep all their fragrance for God. St. John of the Cross says, “God is more pleased by one work, however small, done secretly, without desire that it be known, than a thousand done with desire that men know of them.” Jesus persistently recommends this practice: “Pray in secret, fast in secret, give alms in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you” (see Mt 6:4-18). Jesus also says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Mt 5:16). The issue is discerning when it is good for others to see and when it is better that they do not.

Þ The opposite of purity of intentions is hypocrisy, and the opposite of purity in morals is the abuse of sexuality. “When you give alms, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do. . . . When you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. . . . And when you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites. “(Mt 6:1-18)
Þ It is surprising that the sin of hypocrisy—the sin most denounced by Jesus in the Gospels—enters so little into our ordinary formulations of examinations of conscience. Not having found in any of them the question, “Have I been a hypocrite?” I had to add it in there myself, and rarely have I been able to go past it to the next question without being convicted. The greatest act of hypocrisy would be to hide one’s own hypocrisy—hiding it from ourselves and others since it is impossible to hide it from God. Hypocrisy is, in large part, overcome the moment it is recognized. Þ A person, wrote Blaise Pascal, has two lives: One is his true life, and the other is the imaginary one he lives in his own mind and the minds of other people. We work hard to embellish and conserve our imaginary being, and we neglect our true being. If we have some virtue or merit, we are careful to make it known somehow so as to attach it to that imaginary existence. We would rather separate a virtue from our true life and join it to the imaginary one: we would willingly be cowards in order to acquire the reputation of being brave, even to the point of giving up our life as long as people would talk about it. This is who he has become, but it is not who he is. I see him as who he is and suffer who he has become. 1/14/18
Þ Origin and the meaning of the word “hypocrisy.” It comes from the language of the theater. The exterior words and attitudes do not correspond to the inner reality of the heart. What appears on one’s face is not what is in one’s heart. The ancients gave it the meaning that it really has: pretense. What was negative in stage fiction was transferred to the word “hypocrisy.”
Þ The origin of the word puts us on track to discover the nature of hypocrisy. It turns life into a stage where we perform for the public; it means putting on a mask and ceasing to be a person in order to become a character. A fictive character is nothing but a corruption of an authentic person. A person has a face; a character wears a mask. A person is completely bare; a character is completely wrapped in clothes. A person loves authenticity and reality; a character lives a life of fiction and artifice. A person follows his or her own convictions; a character follows a script. Conchita writes about her dying daughter, Teresa, who was a religious: (Conchita: A Mother’s Spiritual Diary, p.77) “As for me, the main thing was that she receive Jesus! How fervently I asked this. She recognized me and said to me. ‘My dear little mama!’ Poor child! My soul burst, my heart was shattered on seeing her suffer so much! She repeated to Jesus: ‘Behold my body...’ ‘Behold my blood.’ I looked at her, and I wept, offering her to the eternal Father, begging him to take her if that was His will.”
These words from Conchita reveal how she lives the mystical incarnation. As the Father gives the world His only begotten Son to be sacrificed, we see the same Spirit in Conchita that moves her to offer her daughter through Christ, with Christ, and in Christ to the Father. Here we come to understand the motto of Love Crucified: “Suffer all with me, no longer two but one in My sacrifice of love.” Jesus told me. ‘Just as I am your hope, I am equally your way. He who follows Me never walks in darkness, but the way I represent is the Cross. He who wishes to come after Me must deny himself, bear his cross and follow Me setting his feet on My bloodstained tracks…’ He assured me that the Cross is the dwelling place of perfection, that it contains all the mysteries, gifts and fruits of the Spirit” (Conchita: A Mother’s Spiritual Diary, p.116). “Such is the end and essence of My Works of the Cross; a likeness of victims united to the great Victim, Myself, all pure, without the leaven of concupiscence. Many will be lost because their pride kept them from believing in Me, the God of heaven and earth. Persevere in the mission I have entrusted to you. What would move John the Baptist to confront Herod with the truth, knowing that Herod is a pagan and would not receive his words, and would probably have him killed? What makes him God’s bronze wall? - John the Baptist knows who he is and his mission in life – bring souls to repentance as the means to prepare for the coming of Christ. - Courage rooted in the love of God and zeal to complete the mission of God given to him. Courage moves him through his fears to act. Herod, on the other hand, is controlled by fear, his ego, pride, arrogance… He is the “people pleaser”, more concerned about looking good, powerful, and in control before his guests. Therefore, he acts like a coward. We also have the mission of John the Baptist that requires great courage in a world that has become dark and pagan, but the qualities of Herod are also at work in us. The more we can see the traits of Herod in our hearts and come to the foot of the Cross in repentance, the more we will be able to grow in courage to do what is most difficult for us to fulfill our mission. What part of me is still bound, like Herod, as a “people pleaser”, or arrogant & prideful to look good, successful, important, prestigious, intelligent, in control…? The mission of a Missionary of the Cross requires great COURAGE and ZEAL. What is the mission of a MC? ¨ Prophets that prepare the way for the coming of the Lord...
The vocation to be a victim soul is a total oblation to the Father in Christ. It is not based on having great sufferings. There are persons who suffer much and do not have the call to Love Crucified. This vocation is lived and confirmed by living the Simple Path to Union with God.
Fr. Jordi Rivero The root cause of scandals is a crisis of faith The Camino to Santiago that I just completed was a time of grace: 1. I realized, at a deeper level, that we are living a great apostasy. -Everywhere we could see the roots of Christian Europe. Even the smallest towns have a church in their center. But today they are mostly closed, vestiges of another era. -Relatively few on the Camino had a Christian motivation. What used to be a pilgrimage seeking repentance and conversion has become simply an adventure, a sport. -Even the older persons in the towns, there seems to be only a remnant of the faithful left. -I had the practice of, Instead of saying goodbye, I saying “see you in heaven” -the response often was “if there is one” or just a puzzled look. -I had the sense that there is a radical loss of faith, profound indifference. -The result is a huge apostasy and the resulting darkness in the hearts that still is being masked by a culture absorbed in entertainment and consumerism. -To see this is grace because we need to know the battle at hand in order to respond.
2- The fruit of the Camino for me was a profound awareness of the grace we have received in Love Crucified through the Path, the constant teachings, and having each other to help us live it. -This brought me to repentance for my lack of resolve and focus on the mission that the Lord has given me. I saw occasions even in my recent past where I acted as a good priest but not as the Missionary of the Cross, as if my identity and mission is something that can be put on and off. -The physical demands of walking to the next goal each day became a sign of the spiritual discipline that the Lord is asking of me to allow Him to transform my heart.
St Paul: “where sin increased, grace abounded all the more” Rom 5:20 He did not minimize the devastation caused by sin, he suffered it daily, but he resolved the more to give His all, trusting and proclaiming that Christ’s grace working in Him is stronger than all evil and will bear great fruit. Actually, he saw the suffering as a blessing. Our confidence is not in the world, that things are not too bad, or that we humans are going to somehow fix the problems. Our faith is in the love of Jesus crucified who lives in us as victims of love.
Are you going through a hard time? Are you concerned about the future? Don’t minimize the problem, but know and proclaim this: Rom 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Notice that these things DO separate most people from Christ… But Paul is proclaiming that Christ wants to give us the power to conquer and not be defeated. But we must be willing to embrace the cross. St. Paul knew that remaining steadfast was only possible through the Cross.
Paul goes on to say: "For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Lourdes Pinto — My Dear Sisters, Saturday at our Mothers of the Cross Cenacle, the Lord wanted to come to us as Jesus bound by the hands and sentenced to die. Zilkia brought this statue to our Cenacle; it is a pilgrim statue from the Trinitarians used to pray for persecuted Christians. As you gaze at the image, remember the words from our Blessed Mother to the MOC concerning our mystical bridal gown: Around your waist is a rope. This represents the rope tied around Jesus' hands during His trial. You unbound Him with your love and the rope, now around you, symbolizes your union with Him in His agony and crucifixion. Through Him, with Him, and in Him, you will help unbound many souls, especially priests, from the bondage of sin. Below are the words Jesus placed in my heart during adoration for the MOC: I need you. I need each of you to bring My tenderness in mercy to the world. It is love, manifested through the tenderness of God, that has the power to touch the hardened hearts of many souls. My little ones, learn from Mary, the Mother of God, and your Mother. Her tenderness is manifested in Her silence as the love and mercy of God radiates from her gaze. Her gaze is the gaze of God, and her gaze has the power to penetrate the darkness of Satan. God the Father desires that each of you become the gaze of Mary upon the earth. How, my Lord, do we become Mary’s gaze? By learning to live My tenderness through silence. My little ones, the eyes are the window of the heart, and it is I who dwells in your hearts. You must believe that through your fiats to be My victim souls, I have taken My abode in your hearts. Allow My merciful love to radiate through your gaze through the power of silence. The power of God radiated through Mary through the power of her silence. Remember what I taught you about silence. May we REMAIN in SILENCE GAZING into the Heart of Jesus as we participate in His SILENT CRY for souls.

Part II Lourdes Pinto Isaiah 7:2-4 When the house of David was told, "Syria is in league with Ephraim," his heart and the heart of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake before the wind. And the LORD said to Isaiah, "Go forth to meet Ahaz… and say to him, `Take heed, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint.
I. TAKE HEED – To be attentive to our hearts and to God – During the storms of our lives we are also shaken, and our emotions can be so intense that we too become confused, scared, and react in those intense emotions. 1. We need to be attentive to what is happening in our hearts, so we need to BE QUIET – PRAY, and ask the Holy Spirit & Mary to enter our hearts with us. – Simple Pathpp.106-107, Being attentive and going deeper by asking, “Why?” – What is the piercing I am feeling? – What is the pain? Name it. – Why am I feeling such intense sorrow? We need to begin to dissect the pure pain from the emotions of resentment, anger, revenge, hatred, disappointment, frustration & discouragement by asking the questions in prayer and journaling the answers. This process will begin to quiet our hearts so that we can become attentive to the movements of the Holy Spirit guiding us through this process. – What negative emotions am I feeling? Be transparent with God. – Why do I feel so much resentment, anger…? – How have I reacted? What did I say? How did I gaze? Simple Path, #105, p.292 By being attentive to how you use your hands or fail to use your hands, how you gaze at others, and how the words flow from your lips, you will come to know the sin that remains in your hearts. My Mother is forming each of you to be My living chalices.
2. Give the negative emotions to Christ and REMAIN in the PURE PAIN. If I reacted in anger, REPENT. First, to the person I hurt and then in confession. 3. Suffer the pure pain WITH Christ, NOT ALONE! See our sorrow in Him. Jesus cries in the Eucharist with us and for us. - Allow the Holy Spirit to be our Spiritual Director through The Simple Path. - Simple Path, 3-A-4, Tears, p. 124-129 - Simple Path, #34, p.104 Be attentive to each person you encounter in your life. I live in them. I suffer for them and with them. This is My Body (Mt 35:31-41). My little one, have the docility of heart to receive the brokenness of all people into your heart as ONE with Me. This is participation in the love of the Trinity: to receive the wounds of your brothers and sisters and to give the sacrifice of your life, as ONE with Me, for their salvation and sanctification. This is Love.
Simple Path, p.117, Fruit of Healing One of the fruits of healing the core wound is that you find your heart freer. You can feel emotions that you had only read or heard about, and feel to a more profound depth the emotions you already knew. Another fruit of healing is that we come in touch with our interior life, with our hearts. We come to know ourselves and to be attentive to what is taking place within us. We no longer live disconnected from ourselves and others. When we lived in our wound we were unhappy, afraid, depressed, in bad moods, we lived according to our emotions but were not aware of what was taking place within us. A healed person is “tuned in.” This sensitivity becomes the means to live as victim souls receiving the wounds of others and participating with Christ in their redemption.
- During the storm our hearts can feel wounded as if pierced, and at that moment when we are feeling wounded, hurt, vulnerable, scared, confused, angry, frustrated, discouraged, or resentful when we’ve been “shaken” like the Israelites, the blessing of the grace...
Lourdes Pinto God loves us and His mission so much that He desires to make our faith PERFECT. For our mission to be ESTABLISHED firm, each of us MUST BELIEVE what the Lord has said to us. Our FAITH must be witnessed in the way we live the storms, piercings, and thorns in our flesh. If any of us continue to believe with our minds, but not in the way we act in our daily lives, then our mission and community will not be firm. Correlation between Faith and Repentance: 1. Faith: Isaiah 7:1-9 2. Repentance: Mathew 11:20-24 Isaiah (7:2): “Aram has allied itself with[a] Ephraim”; so the hearts of Ahaz and his people were shaken, as the trees of the forest are shaken by the wind.” God permits this storm to enter into the lives of His nation, Israel, SO THAT their faith can be strengthened. By the way, they acted, the condition of their hearts is revealed, so God tells Isaiah to tell His people four things to do: “Take heed, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint.”(Is 7:4) At the end of this Scripture passage, God speaks powerful words to us: “If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.” (7:9) (Another Scripture translation reads: “Unless your faith is firm, you shall not be firm.”) During our trials, we are tempted to contradict Jesus. Our deepest thoughts come to light. The trial reveals the condition of our hearts to ourselves. How we respond will be our rise or fall. Simeon told Mary (Lk 2:34-35) that Jesus “is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted (and you yourself a sword will pierce) so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Mary stood faithful as her heart was pierced at the Cross. We need, like St. John, to be with her in our trials. Fr Ron asked us an important question: “Am I living my identity as a MOC and MC as God’s hidden victim of love?” He told us that the answer to that question is found in the way we ACT or react to the many daily challenges and trials God permits or wills in our lives. Recently I suffered a piercing that wounded my heart. The Lord blessed me with that suffering so that I could honestly, without self–deception, be able to answer that question: “Im I living as a victim of love?” I was confronted with my pure pain, but I was also confronted with feelings of anger, resentment and discouragement. As Fr Ron said, these feelings are not from God, so I started to dig deep for days before the Blessed Sacrament asking the Lord where those feelings where coming from. Why, beyond the sorrow, was I angry? I was finally face to face with the condition of my heart. I was able to SEE the truth about myself that God, in His infinite mercy, wanted me to see SO THAT I could Repentand BELIEVE. I was confronted with my lack of believing what He has said to me for years: You must believe in the power of your hidden ordinary lives united as ONE to My sacrifice of love as God's hidden force that will renew the face of the earth. I found the truth, naked before God: the reason I was frustrated and angry is that I still lack faith in all that the Lord has spoken to me for so many years about victim souls. I still did not believe enough in the power of my suffering with Christ. I believe with my intellect but I do not yet live it perfectly because I have not believed fully with a pure heart. I still lack trust and abandonment to God’s Will. The piercing I suffered affected me in a good way. It brought to self–knowledge and to profound repentance. Repentance brought me to greater faith. I cannot describe to you the freedom I then felt after the piercing, after receiving the gift of self–knowledge, after getting down on my knees, after I cried and asked God for forgiveness and
Mathew 17:20 - He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Mark 4:30-32 - “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.” Mark 4: 14-20 - “The farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.” A mustard seed is so small, looks so insignificant like a little grain of sand, that from its appearance you would never suspect a large plant with large branches could spring forth from it. A host is also small, insignificant, and seems like nothing, yet, in the small insignificant piece of bread is contained God Almighty when consecrated. Because this Mystery is so great – Christ fully present- Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in a small insignificant Host— our human mind cannot grasp such a miracle of God without His grace. God constantly shows us His ways are not our ways. Jesus has been calling us His “mustard seed” for years. This is not just a nice expression from our Lord, but it contains a great mystery for us, and also, it contains the manner in which we will come to be transformed into God’s living hosts. Therefore, we need to go deeper into its meaning to discover what the Heart of God is truly telling us and desiring from us. Two keywords: NOTHINGNESS INSIGNIFICANCE
“The Lord wants to reveal his glory by taking up our nothingness and our insignificance and turning it into something majestic by the pure force of his love.” (Magnificat 11th Sunday in Ordinary Times 6/17/18) The Path of the Cross brings us to know our NOTHINGNESS. When we live in our infected wounds believing the lies of Satan and living in disorder, we live a fake identity – someone we are not. Our fallen nature wants to be important, seen, heard, powerful and significant. Yet, the Path of the Cross brings us to discover the truth about ourselves and God—we are nothing and God is ALL; we are insignificant and God is Significant. Spirit of Poverty, Simple Path p. 303, #110 The spirit of poverty is lived when you allow the Holy Spirit, My Blessed Mother and Myself to strip you of everything interiorly: your desires, expectations, plans, attachments, securities, consolations in friendships, even consolations from Me, so that you are left completely empty. It is a soul that has been stripped of everything, that is empty and can be filled with My life…
We, Love Crucified, are God’s mustard seed – little, nothing, insignificant-- and in our nothingness is hidden the power of God. That is why God is constantly telling us that we are the “hidden force”. Just as the mustard seed contains the large tree and the Host contains God Almighty, the mustard seed of LC contains the Power of God, the “sword of the Spirit.” The Lord told us: The enemy will be conquered, and all things will be made new but never in the ways of the world. God has chosen to give the sword of righteousness to His little mustard seed. The sword of the mission is...
The Annunciation teaches us about how God relates with us and what trusting Him really means. God, who is almighty and all-knowing, the creator of the universe, asks Mary to participate in His most important plan: the salvation of the world. Then He waits for her permission! We see God asking and waiting throughout the history of salvation. With the few who respond, He does great things. This is God’s way with us. He asks permission to come to us and to work through us. Trust depends on our faith that God is asking us permission to work in and through us. But it also means that we are attentive to give Him that permission when it goes against what we expected and desired. God’s work in us often is often very different than what we expected. It is not enough to want God just as a benefactor, to do our bidding, to give us all the good things we want. Then we pray that all goes as we expect and say we trust that God will come through. That means that if a loved one is sick, they will heal; if I’m looking for a job, a dream house, etc., it will come through as I expect it. Then we can say, “God is good, I trust He will give it to me”!! But do I also pray giving God permission to contradicts my expectations, for the grace to embrace with confidence His will, trusting that it is the best? That is what Jesus did at Gethsemane. He showed us the price of trusting in the Father and why few do. This means that It is not enough to obey the Commandments. That is to live by the law. Christ has given us His Holy Spirit so that we see, desire, and act as one with His heart. That means that God wants a personal relationship with us and wants to direct all the decisions we take, including those of our daily life. The Lord wants to give us His plans, His desires, His love. We are tempted with spiritual laziness I may think that if God wants something from me, He can just tell me, and I will do it. Trusting in God requires the hard work of discerning God’s will for us. We cannot presume we know it. It may be that at times the Lord will come to us in a striking way, as the angel speaking to Mary. But even Mary had to struggle. Lc 1, 26 “she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be.” The angel had to tell her, “do not be afraid”. Mary did not understand and asked questions: Lc 1, 34 “How shall this be, since I have no husband?” Then Luke tells us that “the angel departed from her.” To trust, Mary needed to continue to listen to God, now speaking in the silent movements of the Spirit in her heart. She heard from the angel that Elizabeth was with child but no further instructions in that regard. But in her heart, she listened to the Spirit moving her to do the most difficult, the most dangerous” to go serve. She trusted because her love consumed her, and she was attentive to the Lord, no attachments, no distractions could interfere. The disciples sincerely trusted Jesus; they left everything to follow Him. But their trust had to grow. Jesus lamented that they were slow to understand the signs meant to teach them to trust in what seemed impossible or what went against their natural hopes. Only later they realized the power of the cross and that they had not yet abandoned everything as they thought. They were still thinking as natural men think and not as God thinks. We, too, need to have our minds opened to know the will of God. If our priority is not to listen to God, if we do not expect Him to actually speak, if we do not keep at it in prayer, seeking and waiting upon the Lord, then we will be distracted and guided by other voices. At the Last Judgement, the damned will ask, “when did we see you hungry…” They did not respond to God because they did not see Him in the way they expected. When we die, I think that we will be dismayed to see how much God wanted to entrust to us, how much He wanted to draw us to...
In the world but not of the world Lourdes asked the Lord regarding our community’s relationship with the world. Are we to flee from the world or engage it. This was the answer: 1. My little one (to retreat) is not the way that I am seeking for these end times. Satan will be defeated by heroic acts of love united to My perfect sacrifice of love. 2. I need souls willing to live in the world but not of the world. 3. Souls who receive the brokenness of other souls and suffer for them as one with Me solely for love. 4. Souls immersed in the darkness of this world to fight as My soldiers of Light against the demons of hell. 5. These are My hidden victim souls in the world living through Me, with Me, and in Me. 6. My little one, Satan will try many tactics to move your heart from the desire of My Heart. 7. I am forming you (plural) as My warriors of the great battle. Now I shall reflect on the above seven points: 1) How did Jesus defeat Satan? It was a battle but not as we may imagine. Most of His life was hidden, but living in the world, not isolated. He lived among the people of Nazareth who knew Him. -they thought. Then He lived intimately close to His disciples. Finally, death on the Cross. Every step Jesus lived in heroic love in the ordinary things while being misunderstood, rejected, giving Himself when He had other plans. He takes His disciples to rest only to find a multitude. Even His plans are changed, and He continues loving unto the Cross. Lourdes’s example of how we are to apply this: A husband that returning from work proceeds to be attentive to his wife and children instead of seeking his pleasure (tv, computer....)
2) Willing to live in the world but not of the world. Jesus said: “Do not be conformed to this world” (Rom 12:2). Fr. Cantalamessa comments: “After these words, we would expect to hear, “but transform it!” Instead, He tells us, “but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, “in other words: “Transform yourselves!” Transform the world, yes, but the world within you before thinking you can transform the world outside of you. We are to participate in His mission, and so He goes on to say: “that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Jesus defeated Satan by becoming flesh and loving in the world with a human heart. He came to redeem all that is human, even the most ordinary, making it the locus for our growth in holiness.
3) Souls who receive the brokenness of others and suffer with them as one with Me solely for love When others hurt us, we want to run away! The hurt eclipses our discernment, and we find a pious reason to break relationships. Had we given the Lord time, we could have seen our mistake; we could have seen how we are growing through the trials. When we run from suffering and still want to feel pious, we become fake saints. We want to love those we find lovable.
Mt 5:44 “Jesus said to his disciples: “I say to you, love your enemies... For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers and sisters only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.
How does the Father reveal His perfection? -By sending to us His only Son, while we were sinners.
Jesus reveals the Father’s perfection with His love, receiving the sin, the brokenness, the sorrows of all. He asks us: “Will you be one with Me?” Will you receive My love so that you can love as I love?
4) Souls immersed in the darkness of the world to fight as my soldiers of Light and against demons. Yes, the world is in darkness, but we have the mission to go into the darkness being light. This brings us into the same battle Jesus fought unto the Cross.
5) These are My hidden victim souls in the world living through Me, with Me, and in Me. Our lives are...
“Solomon’s Unfaithfulness” Lourdes Pinto, Cenacle 2/8/18 1 Kings 11:4-13 Solomon goes astray and worships strange gods “When Solomon was old, his wives had turned his heart to strange gods, and his heart was not entirely with the Lord.” (11:4)
What happened? How could Solomon fall so horribly when he possessed the gift of wisdom and had received so many graces from the Lord? Solomon begins with his heart entirely given to the Lord. · Monday- “And when the priests came out of the holy place, a cloud filled the house of the LORD, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD. Then Solomon said, “The LORD has set the sun in the heavens, but has said that he would dwell in thick darkness. I have built thee an exalted house, a place for thee to dwell in forever.” (1 Kings 8:10-13) · Tuesday- “Then Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven; and said, “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to thy servants who walk before thee with all their heart;” (I Kings 8:22-23) · Wednesday- Queen Sheba visits Solomon and is amazed at his wisdom: “Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing hidden from the king which he could not explain to her.” (10:3)
How could his wives turn his heart to strange gods? Why didn’t Solomon see the truth of the darkness in the hearts of his wives and bring them to the light of the true God? *The first message Cf. Luke 10:1-12 Diary of a MOC 1/11/18, Mission of MC and MOC My little one, you are preparing the way for My Second Coming. It is My hidden martyrs of love, crucified through Me, with Me and in Me, that will usher in the reign of My Kingdom on earth. the Gospel says: “No purse” that means be Poor in spirit; “No sandals” that means -detached from the things of this world; a life of sacrifice, hardships, difficulties, uncomfortable, penance (I had the image of people walking up the mountain in Medjugorje barefoot) “no walking stick” -because I will sustain you, strengthen you, support you. I will lead you on this journey. My Missionaries of the Cross must preach repentance again, as did John the Baptist. They must preach My love crucified, bringing souls to know intimately My love. They must be entirely detached from their egos, knowing themselves as nothing and miserable. They must be willing to speak the truth about the darkness within My priesthood. They must be willing to live rejected, cast out, and even stoned to death. (I conversed with Jesus, saying that I do not know how this will be. I see again the image of the red carpet-the women covered in the precious blood of Jesus. My Lord, how do the lay missionaries of the cross live this mission? ) They are priests within their families, and they live in the world. They will need great courage to be My light in the midst of the darkness. My daughter, tell my daughters to persevere suffering all with Me solely for love of Me. Solomon’s heart, through the process of many years, becomes “drowsy”: “But take heed to yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life” (Luke 21:34)

Perseverance through the Love of the CrossFr. Jordi Rivero, Feb 2, 2018 "A scientia crucis [knowledge of the Cross] can be gained only when one comes to feel the Cross radically." — St. Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein) from Edith Stein and Companions. Dear brothers and sisters, Through the years I have seen many persons who were led by the Lord to embrace a way of life that nurtured an intimate relationship with Him, but when a great trial came they abandoned that way of life. They may claim that their love for Christ has not changed, they may justify themselves to avoid the demands of love. If we examine our own life we will find occasions in which we have also fallen in this temptation. This is why St Ignatius warns us that, in time of tempest, we should not make any changes in our way of life and must persevere until we enter a time of calm and consolation. Suffering may eclipse the blessings we are receiving so that we do not see that our cross is setting us free from many things so that we can direct our hearts to Christ. Our flesh desires to run away from what is causing pain. We are tempted to think that we can please God the same by choosing ways to live a devout life that appear to avoid the cross. We then act in haste, without an honest process of discernment, without dialogue with those with whom we have walked thus far. The only way to holiness is perseverance through the love of the cross. This is the wisdom of the Church since the beginning as is testified in the following instruction to the Catechumens by St Cyril of Jerusalem, father of the Church: MAY THE CROSS BE YOUR JOY ALSO IN TIME OF PERSECUTION The Catholic Church glories in every deed of Christ. Her supreme glory, however, is the cross. Well aware of this, Paul says: God forbid that I glory in anything but the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ! At Siloam, there was a sense of wonder, and rightly so: a man born blind recovered his sight. But of what importance is this, when there are so many blind people in the world? Lazarus rose from the dead, but even this affected only Lazarus: what of those countless numbers who have died because of their sins? Those miraculous loaves fed five thousand people; yet this is a small number compared to those all over the world who were starved by ignorance. After eighteen years a woman was freed from the bondage of Satan; but are we not all shackled by the chains of our own sins? For us all, however, the cross is the crown of victory. It has brought light to those blinded by ignorance. It has released those enslaved by sin. Indeed, it has redeemed the whole of mankind! Do not, then, be ashamed of the cross of Christ; rather, glory in it. Although it is a stumbling block to the Jews and folly to the Gentiles, the message of the cross is our salvation. Of course it is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it was not a mere man who died for us, but the Son of God, God made man.... He was not forced to give up his life: his was a willing sacrifice. Listen to his own words: I have the power to lay down my life and take it up again. Yes, he willingly submitted to his own passion. He took joy in his achievement; in his crown of victory he was glad and in the salvation of man he rejoiced. He did not blush at the cross, for by it he was to save the world. No, it was not a lowly man who suffered, but God incarnate. He entered the contest for the reward he would win by his patient endurance. Certainly in times of tranquility the cross should give you joy. But maintain the same faith in times of persecution. Otherwise you will be a friend of Jesus in times of peace and his enemy during war. Now you receive the forgiveness of your sins and the generous gift of grace from your king. When war comes, fight courageously for him. Jesus never sinned; yet he was crucified for you....
Lourdes Pinto Knowing Self and Others in Christ and Satan`s Strategy Lourdes Pinto, Jan 18, 2018 By steadfast attentiveness to the Lord at all times and by remaining in trust and faith under trial, we allow the Holy Spirit to show us our weakness and sin, and we receive the power to be one with Christ and thus defeat the devil. How to win the battle against demons, by St. John of Avila Doctor of the Church. The demons envy our well-being so much that they try all sorts of ways to keep us from enjoying what they have lost. When, in a battle, they are overcome by us, or to put it better, by God in us, they stir up other battles to see if at some time they can find someone careless to devour. They change their weapons and strategies, thinking that those they cannot overcome in one way, they will overcome in another. Christian doctrine teaches us to place ourselves within the most just will of the Lord and to suffer patiently what He (God) sends us, interior or exterior. When they (the demons) have seen that, because of this, they have been unable to ruin us by cunning, they try more open war, in which the one that was before a hidden dragon becomes a ferocious lion (cf. Pt.5:8). No longer does he tempt in one thing in order to end up in another, but rather, he clearly wants to make himself feared and plans to achieve by fear what he could not achieve by cunning. Here he will not be seen as a fox but as a fierce lion that wants to inspire fear by his roaring… When a soul, by the love of God that is the life of faith, despises the prosperity and adversity of the world and believes and trusts God, whom he does not see, there is no way by which the demon may enter. Also, the light of faith teaches us to trust in God's mercy when there are dangers. If the one under attack wants to take advantage of this mercy, he may gain a lot of courage to struggle against the demon, a thing that is very necessary for this war.

The time of the great destruction draws near, many souls will be lost, you will hear the wailing of Jerusalem throughout the world. Bring Me victim souls to suffer with Me to obtain graces of conversion for many souls, who otherwise, will be lost. Believe in the power of your hidden lives of suffering with Me. Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary I – THE ANNUNCIATION Mary gives her FIAT: “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38 Mary’s life becomes her fiat of the Annunciation. We too gave our “fiat” to be Christ’s victim souls at the moment of our Love Crucified Covenant before His presence in the Blessed Sacrament. After Mary’s fiat, great trials, tribulations and sufferings fill her life, yet she remains faithful to her Covenant with God. MOC and MC, REMAIN with Christ as we are faithful daily to our LC Covenant. Therefore, on a regular basis, we must read, ponder and examine our lives according to what we said “yes” to. We must remain with our Lord daily in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, as His victim souls suffering all with Him. We must remain faithful to Christ in our covenant community by attending the cenacles and remaining in LC even when we don’t feel like it, when we’re tired, occupied with other projects, bored, etc.
II – THE VISITATION Path #20, p.66. “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord.” My little one, these are the words from the mouth of My Mother as she enters the home of Elizabeth. Ponder these words with Me. My Mother lived her life in praise of the Father. She lived in the constant awareness of who the Father is. Her soul was in a constant state of awe. In the knowledge of the greatness and majesty of God, Mary also had perfect knowledge of herself; therefore, she states that she is the handmaid of the Lord. My daughter, I desire that you live more profoundly and perfectly in the knowledge of the grandeur, majesty and goodness of Abba, our Father. In this way, you will live more perfectly as My handmaid. The perfect and holy handmaid of the Lord, Mary Most Holy, is moved by the Holy Spirit to serve her cousin, Elizabeth. How is it that Mary knew the promptings of the Spirit and could respond with courage and obedience even when she could not understand fully the Will of God? She REMAINED in SILENCE, PRAYER and PRAISE. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” We must choose to REMAIN IN EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE of our lives – difficult job, difficult relationships, tribulations – PRAISING and THANKING GOD because we are men and women, like Mary, who have come to know personally the love of God, and therefore, we choose to live in perfect faith and abandonment to His Will, present in each circumstance of our lives. Remain in LONG SUFFERING (gift of the Holy Spirit= constancy in trials), in righteousness, trusting God. Long suffering (a fruit of the Holy Spirit –Gal.5,22-23) is perseverance, constancy under trials. Samson - Judges 13:2-5 on the wife of Manoah: “(she) was barren and had no children. TENDERNESS IN MERCY Lourdes Pinto, Cenacle 10/5/17 The Light of Jesus Christ is Love that Suffers All –Path –#88 p. 243 In this first paragraph, Jesus explains what is meant by the “light of Jesus Christ”. He describes how He loves us: Only love radiates the light of God, for His light is Love. The light of Jesus Christ is love that suffers for all and with all: Love in pain and sorrow, Love that enters into the brokenness of humanity and receives her brokenness into Himself to heal and restore her in God. Love receives her wounds and bears them upon His Body to heal her with the balm of His tenderness in mercy. This is the Light of the world. This is Love, the Word Incarnate. We can conclude that the Light of the world is Love, Jesus Christ. He loves us by suffering for each of us and with each of us. It’s a love that is willing to remain in pain and sorrow. It’s a love that enters each of us and receives our wounds and brokenness upon His flesh and heals us with His TENDERNESS IN MERCY. In the 2nd part of this teaching, Jesus explains to us how we BECOME His Light in the world. We must love as He does, only in this way are we truly His followers, for He came to show us The Way – He is The Way! Receive My wounds, the sin, brokenness, and oppression of your brothers and sisters, so that you can radiate My light in the darkness. This is love. The love of the world is self-seeking and self-centered, but the love of God is self-giving. Philippians 2:1-11 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord, and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which was in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The only way we can have the same love and be of one mind is for each of us to acquire the same mind (attitude) of Christ Jesus. St Paul is very specific in telling us what the mind of Christ is: He emptied Himself by becoming a servant – He comes to suffer for all and with all. As a servant, He receives our wounds upon His Body, and He gives us His tenderness in mercy. He humbled Himself & became obedient to death on a cross – “Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered” (Hebrews 5:8). True humility brings us, like Jesus, to accept suffering, for it is ONLY in this way that we can accept the Will of God and follow Christ to the Cross.
Through the Simple Path, the Lord asks us one thing – “Suffer all with Me”, “Cry with Me”. He does not ask us to solve everyone’s problems nor to change anyone, but only to remain with Him suffering with Him. Yet, this one simple plea, this thirst of the Heart of God, becomes so difficult for us. Why? Because to be transformed into Love requires that we not only suffer with Jesus but that we for, and this is how the multitudes suffer, but Christ thirsts for VICTIMS OF LOVE! What does it mean to love with God’s tenderness in mercy? “If anyone wishes to come after me, he must and follow me.” (Luke 9:23) 1– First, I must deny myself and do what is most difficult. Deny acting in resentment, anger, frustration, discouragement…...

Did I respond to grace? • What grace did I receive this month to help my transformation into a “living host”? A grace usually with a profound piercing, a storm, that was unexpected. • Was I able to see this piercing as God’s grace or, like the Israelites, did I enter fear, doubt, discouragement, anxiety, grumbling…? Did I read and forget, or did it become flesh of my flesh? • Many times, we read the words the Lord gives us, but the message remains disconnected from our lives. We read and then FORGET. We receive a teaching and then forget. The messages & teachings, like the Path, need to become flesh of our flesh, one with us. Until this happens in every MOC and MC, we are not transformed into the LIVING PATH, a LIVING HOST. The graces are not what we expected • When I first received this message, I never imagined that the grace of transformation I was receiving from the Lord would come in the form of a category five hurricane. • “We are not able to believe that God will do the impossible with the impossibles. Fear becomes an obstacle to faith. The spirits of fear, doubt, and discouragement quickly spread among the entire community. Was I able to mount my horse with the particular grace I received? *As I now reflect, I realize that, for me, the hurricane itself was not the grace to mount my horse; the grace was rather the trial by fire of my faith: the pain I was living as I witnessed the lack of faith & hope in some of my family members. How many souls I love do not have a LIVING FAITH established upon a personal relationship with Christ....

Numbers 13 & 14 The Israelites, after having lived the parting of the Red Sea, being fed miraculously with the manna every morning and quails every evening, witnessing the face of Moses shining with the Light of God after having spoken to Him face-to-face, seeing the presence of God in a cloud over the tent, finally arrive at the land of Canaan. Upon arriving, the Lord sends Moses to “reconnoiter” (make a military observation of a region) the land of Canaan, and says, “which I am giving the Israelites.” (Numbers 13:1) But after observing the territory, they are frightened because the men of this land are too strong for them. (13:31) Some begin to doubt, and this leads them into Satan’s trap of discouragement, and they begin to grumble against Moses and Aaron: “All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, the whole community saying to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt,” or “If only we would die here in the wilderness! Why is the Lord bringing us into this land only to have us fall by the sword? Our wives and little ones will be taken as spoil. Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” So they said to one another, “Let us appoint a leader and go back to Egypt.” (Numbers 14:2-4)

Form My Hidden Martyrs, #52 Diary of a MOC (p. 165) You must form My hidden martyrs of love, for God the Father is using them to fulfill His plan of salvation during these decisive times. Live your hidden life as ONE with Me in My hidden life in the Eucharist, and you will grow in the power of God, which is LOVE. This is the HIDDEN FORCE that will sweep through the face of the world to conquer Satan’s darkness. The Eucharist is the power of God in the world, and God desires to make you living Hosts. a. Live your hidden life as ONE with Me in My hidden life in the Eucharist. i. We have learned that in each moment of our lives, through our situations, problems, places, and people, we can participate in Jesus’ hidden life in the Eucharist by trusting and abandoning ourselves to His Will. ii. In section 4-D of The Path, Participation in the Groans of the Sacred Heart, Jesus invites us to enter the intimacy of His groans. 2. Listen to My Groans, #77, Diary of a MOC (p. 225) Can you hear My groans that come forth from the depth of My Crucified Heart? The groans of My agony of love. Listen to My groans of love. a. This question is an invitation from the Lord to bring us deeper into His Sacred Heart. Jesus asks us to listen to His groans. What are those groans? How can we hear them? Are they audible?
3. Mt 13:13 ‘they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand. a. Entering the groans of our Lord is a process. First, the Lord taught us in the Path to unite our wounds to His, our pain to His, our tears to His… to suffer ALL with Him as one in His sacrifice of love. This SIMPLE process brings us to know the pain of our Lord, and through His pain, to know His love personally. You can compare this process to the transformation of the caterpillar into a butterfly. The caterpillar is constrained to seeing life around him to just the tiny space it lives in. He can’t see very far nor hear much either. That is how we are when we live constrained in our wounds. Inside the dark pit of our wound, our sight is clouded and our hearing limited. We can’t seem to see beyond ourselves. Our world is all centered on self. When we enter Jesus’ wounds, it is as the caterpillar entering the cocoon. Through His wounds, we are immersed into the cocoon of His Sacred Heart, and just as the caterpillar is not conscious of the transformation taking place, we cannot fully perceive the subtle work of the Spirit transforming our minds, sight, hearing, and heart. b. This process of suffering with Christ gradually and unperceivably begins to transform our entire being. We start to hear and see our own hearts with the eyes of God through the gift of self-knowledge. We begin to perceive our own groans as we WAIT, like the caterpillar, with PATIENCE, TRUST, and HOPE, for our redemption—our transformation into Love. We see our weakness, woundedness, sins, misery… It’s the groans of our souls that desire to be holy —redeemed in the image and likeness of God to participate in the glory of God here on earth— no longer I who lives but Christ who lives in me. Yet, daily we are confronted with our pride, vanity, and lack of trust in God who has loved us to the extreme of the Cross. These inner groans that express our deepest desire to know God and to know ourselves are a grace of God’s infinite love for us.

In this way, I am present to all, for you to contemplate and to receive Me as living Bread. I remained with you to nourish your life with Divine life. To prepare you, to strengthen you, and to become one with you as you journey the path to eternal life in God. I remain in this hidden and ordinary way so that your hidden and ordinary life can be transformed into Divinity and thus participate here on earth in the unity and Divine life of the Most Holy Trinity. The Eucharist is the life of God that has the power to heal and to transform you from within. In the smallness of the Host is revealed the grandeur, majesty, and greatness of God. The Eucharist is the greatest miracle of God for humanity. The Eucharist reveals God’s faithfulness to His people. The Eucharist reveals what each of you is called to become. CCC 1368: The Eucharist is also the sacrifice of the Church. The Church, which is the Body of Christ, participates in the offering of her Head. With him, she herself is offered whole and entire. She unites herself to his intercession with the Father for all men. In the Eucharist, the sacrifice of Christ becomes also the sacrifice of the members of his Body. The lives of the faithful, their praise, sufferings, prayer, and work, are united with those of Christ and with his total offering, and so acquire a new value. Christ’s sacrifice present on the altar makes it possible for all generations of Christians to be united with his offering. The Angel of Fatima told the children: Make everything you do a sacrifice, and offer it as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended and in supplication for the conversion of sinners… Above all, accept and bear with submission the sufferings sent you by Our Lord. In the next apparition, the angel said that those sacrifices and suffering are effective “by offering them in union with the Eucharistic Sacrifice. Before we can enter a PURE PARTICIPATION in the sacrifice of Jesus, we must come to know ourselves: our wounds, disorders, sin patterns, lies, distorted identity, hardness of heart…. If we don’t, our participation in the life of Christ in the Eucharist will also be disordered participation – a participation as the wrong kind of victim – enablers, people-pleasers, codependent…. Do I now notice when the hardness of my heart reacts, and do I recognize it and strive to correct it by CHOOSING to be tender with my words, hands, and gaze? Holy Spirit Received in by Victim Souls – become Living Hosts Lourdes Pinto, Cenacle teaching – 6/15/17 Pentecost Sunday – Bogota, Colombia, 6/4/17 As the LC community was praying the rosary, I had the memory of when I saw the Holy Spirit, in the form of a very large dove, fly out of the center of the Cross, where I saw the Heart of Jesus in the center of the Eucharist. I remembered the immensity of the Holy Spirit’s wings, as extending over the entire world, the sound of the wind, and the POWER of His flight. I then began praying with all my heart for the Holy Spirit to come over the entire world, a new Pentecost, on this Pentecost Sunday. It was in this prayer that I again saw the Holy Spirit as if hovering over us as we prayed the rosary. I could feel His presence, His love, and protection. We were all sitting in a circle with a statue of Mary, Rosa Mystica, on a table in the center. Interiorly I then saw Mary standing in the center of our prayer circle. During the rosary, she said twice to BELIEVE that the HS has been stirred into flame within each of us. In one of the decades, I think the 4th, as Maria Hickein gave a reflection, I saw her hand our Blessed Mother a crown of thorns. Mary then took off her crown of glory and placed it in the center of the crown of thorns. I then saw this crown of thorns with the crown of glory in its center become very large and rise over all of us sitting in the circle of prayer. At the end of the rosary, Mary asked us “to protect the graces we have received.” Fatima Chapel, my baptism of the Holy Spirit –8/28/08 First appeared the Host, then appeared the Sacred Heart inside the Host. Third, the Cross, the Host with the Sacred Heart, was in the center. Then came the HS as a huge and powerful dove flying out from the Host within the Heart towards me. It is here that they will come to know My Sacred Heart… Then there are the few souls that will respond to My love and allow Me to bring them to union with Me in the Cross. These are the souls that receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. If only I could draw to depict what I saw! The HS was HUGE; the wings flopping were massive, and I could feel the power of the wings so strong that I actually felt that I was going to go through the wall behind me. Jesus' wounds radiate divine mercy because they reveal the act of love by which He died for us.
The Gospel story of the Wedding at Cana has a profound mystical meaning. In that sense, the spouses are Jesus and Mary, the New Adam and the New Eve. This is why Jesus calls her "Woman" (cf. Genesis 2) both at Cana and at Calvary. They reveal the redemption of men and women and the new relations now possible between them. Jesus is the God-Man, but He wanted to be helped by Mary. Lourdes Pinto Jesus: "Believe, my daughter, believe." We need the faith of a Mustard Seed, and Jesus will do the impossible through us. "Believe in the power of your ordinary hidden lives lived through Me, with Me, and in Me." The greater the tenderness of our hearts, like Jesus', the greater our sensitivity to love and suffer with Christ.
