At the young age of 30 and during her residency, Dr. Boham received a shocking breast cancer diagnosis. She was well-educated in health and doing “all the right things.”
It changed everything for her. She started focusing on true preventative medicine that provides balance and focuses on creating body terrain that doesn’t give cancer (or other health issues such as dementia or infertility) a chance.
Make sure to bring your notepad to this listening session because it is packed with wisdom and hope. Also, for a deeper dive into Dr. Boham’s healing philosophies and insights, please download her free book: Breast Wellness—Tools to Prevent and Heal from Breast Cancer.
Your body doesn’t make mistakes—rather, it responds to its environment—something you (for the most part) have control over. It's not about the tumor, it is about the terrain. This is the terrain-centric approach (compared to tumor-centric) that of Nicole Saleske, NP. I’m delighted to have her on the podcast because she has seen remarkable success amongst her patients since focusing on the terrain awakens your innate ability to heal.
According to Nicole, you are not cancer. You are a person who is having a "cancer-ing" experience, but it is not WHO you are—because it is not yours to keep!
Tune in to learn how your body's terrain can create an environment that is hospitable to cancer. However, since I am a woman of solutions, Nicole and I also discuss specific things you can do to prevent cancer from rooting down into your body's soil—now and forever.

Award-winning writer and producer of “bOObs: The War on Women’s Breast” and investigative journalist Megan Smith, M.S., dedicates her career to better the lives of those with health afflictions.
Her latest documentary, “A New Standard of Care: Alternative Cancer Therapies” (watch for free), investigates the area of non-conventional cancer therapies used worldwide. Even though I had thoroughly researched the topic, I furiously took notes the whole time. Therefore, I highly suggest listening with your notepad so you can join the women’s health + seaweed movement with me!

How critical is healing emotional trauma and stress for cancer prevention?
Honestly, if I were to start over with the 7 Essentials System®, I would put Essential #4 (Heal Your Emotional Wounds) as number one because it's that critical for healing.
Emotional trauma and stress are triggers that can initiate the development of cancer in your body. Over and over again, I hear from women in the BCC community that they can pretty much pinpoint the trauma and stress that led to the development of their diagnosis. However, healing emotional wounds from trauma is tragically sometimes the last thing people think about when receiving a breast cancer diagnosis.
Today, join me on a journey of learning about how your emotional and physical health is directly connected, and practical ways to let the healing begin!
How can meditation help if you have been diagnosed with breast cancer?
Countless studies on mediation have shown positive effects on decreasing psychological stress, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and fear of recurrence. Even more, cancer cells have receptor sites for adrenaline.
Therefore, you CAN stop fueling cancer by getting into relaxation mode (meditation) daily. It’s free, effective, and can be done at any location at any time!
Listen to this short podcast to learn more about the best meditations for Breast Cancer Conquerors and a few types of meditation techniques you can do right now.
Keep calm, and carry on!

First, I want to clarify that hormones do NOT cause cancer! If hormones did cause cancer, every hormonal teen would have breast cancer. We need our hormones for healthy brains, bones, immune systems, and cardiac health—they're an essential part of healthy functioning bodies.
However, there are TOXIC “hormones” called Xeno-estrogens or chemical estrogens lurking around your home and the outside world that CAN cause cancer. Tune into this short podcast to uncover where you can find these damaging Xeno-estrogens and actionable steps you can take today to clear them out of your life.

Trauma healing is not one-size-fits-all. Unhealed trauma can also lead to many diseases and, of course, the diagnosis of breast cancer can be incredibly traumatic for a woman and everyone who loves her. I know—I have been there, too.

She is extraordinarily brilliant and well educated as a Double Board-Certified Medical Physician: Preventive and Addiction Medicine, and she holds two Master’s degrees in Biochemistry and Public Health. Holistic pain management, sleep, anxiety, anti-aging, inflammation, and tissue healing are challenges you simply can’t put a Band-Aid on. This is why I interviewed Dr. William Pawluk, MD, MSc. He is considered the foremost authority on the practical use of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy in North America and focuses on healing the cause of the problem—not the symptoms.
After 25 years of medical practice, academic positions at John Hopkins and the University of Maryland, and training in a wide variety of holistic health including acupuncture and homeopathy—Dr. Pawluk decided to step out of the traditional “house of medicine.” He learned that cancer grows best in an inflammatory environment. The adenosine receptor is in control of inflammation and PEMFs stimulate the adenosine receptor.
Therefore, PEMFs (along with your diet, sleep, stress management, etc.) are powerful tools to reduce your inflammation and therefore prevent cancer from spreading. This journey leads him to discover the power of PEMFs—safe, non-toxic, self-directed, self-controlled, and at-home pain and cellular health management.
As a special gift to all listeners, Dr. Pawluck offers this free guide to Magnetic Field Therapy For Pain.

She is also a health and wellness journalist with a master’s degree from Columbia University. Sharon teaches mindfulness courses online, at corporations and studios, and with private clients as a mindfulness coach.
Listen in as Sharon discusses the power of finding equanimity and how it helped her with the side effects of conventional treatment. People think it's their circumstances that determine their happiness, but it's actually one's reaction to their circumstances that determine their happiness and wellbeing. Additionally, Sharon discovered that it was not having cancer that caused her suffering, but the REACTION to having cancer that caused suffering.
Full acceptance/releasing resistance to what IS is the key to release suffering, especially when the circumstance is not able to change (such as metastatic cancer). The mindfulness practice of equanimity reduces reactivity; therefore, reducing suffering. Join us as Sharon leads us through an equanimity practice. Francine van Broekhoven became a certified medical thermographer after her mother passed away from Breast Cancer. She is an expert in the field of breast health in combination with a thermography report. By the year 2019, Francine had made over 5000 thermograms in The Netherlands and Belgium. Additionally, she is the author of the book: Breast Health handbook and Medical Thermography.
Francine has become an advocate of healthy breasts. According to Francine, there are so many things women CAN do if they would only know. Thermography is just a part of the whole package; women should get information about what the bra is doing with their lymph and how their breasts can benefit from dry brushing and breast tissue treatments. Francine also points out that Thermography is not about detecting breast cancer, but about giving very personal information to a woman about the health status of her breasts.
No woman should have to go through the sorrow and fear which Francine and her mother experienced. Francine wants to take away the anxiety of breast cancer and give trust and knowledge back in the hands of all women around the world.
