The Marie Geneviève Show is an LGBTQ+ podcast hosted by Marie Geneviève. On this podcast, she is analyzing the LGBTQ+ representation in films, tv-shows, webseries, books, and plays. The goal of this analysis is to build an understanding of how sexual and gender diversity is portrayed through time and space. In each episode, a particular work of art is analyzed. There is basically a weekly case study.
In this episode, I discuss the LGBTQ+ representation in the play Hosanna. Written by Michel Tremblay, it came out in 1973.

ABOUT ME
My name is Marie Geneviève. I am from Montreal, Canada. In December 2020, I completed a bachelor's degree in Anthropology. I've decided to take a gap year following my graduation to explore various creative outlets. I have several projects like books, webseries, movies, podcasts, and documentaries. The Marie Geneviève Show is the first part of this undertaking.
One of the topics that I am very interested in is the LGBTQ+ community, as I'm part of it. I don't solely focus on that topic in my projects, but it is a prominent one. Through most of what I do, I aim to document the many experiences, perspectives and realities of the LGBTQ+ community. The reason why I want to do so is that I want to get more involved in my community. The Marie Geneviève Show is part of that undertaking.

In this episode, I discuss the LGBTQ+ representation in the movie Claire of the Moon. Written and directed by Nicole Conn, it came out in 1992.

EDIT: I just noticed that I've made a tiny mistake. The movie 'But I'm A Cheerleader' was first released in 1999 at the Toronto International Film Festival, not in 1992, as I said in the episode. It was then in theatres in 2000. Sorry about that
