Our Vero Beach airport is flying high! Breeze, American and JetBlue Airlines supply non-stop service to some popular cities, including Boston and Raleigh, NC. In the coming weeks, the townfolk are invited to voice their opinion on some expansion ideas now being discussed. A new food vendor has been added to the airport and outside seating accommodations as well.
Our Indian River Lagoon is a precious addition to our lifestyle. Facing environmental problems in 2011, we have learned so much about seagrass's impact on keeping the lagoon healthy and vibrant. Doctor Melissa Dean overcame so much with faith and so much intervention from people who told her, "You shouldn't be here!" Turning her life into giving back and helping people came about because people gave her hope. Many of those people started out as strangers. One policeman stood by her time and again and 20 years later he contacted her to receive her good news and shared that he was glad to've known her because now he was dealing with his own daughter's disintegrating life.
