We begin the week with Veteran's Day, which coincides with Søren Kierkegaard day. Andrés Albertsen, Adjunct Instructor in Religion, acquaints us with the writings of college-aged Kierkegaard. Tuesday's talk by Eva Knee '20 is a tale of a chance encounter and forgiveness. On Wednesday, we were visited by Ann Peterson, from the Southeastern Minnesota Synod. We wrap up the week of chapel services with Elliot Kadrofske '20, a senior from Michigan.
This week began with Ross Grant '20, speaking on the topic of grief. In celebration of First-Generation Day, Hadia Mohammadzadah '21 and Luis Almanza '20 spoke on their experiences as first-generation college students. On Founders Day, David R. Anderson '74, President of the College, commemorated the 50th anniversary of the forming of the Paracollege. Rabbi Shosh Dworsky closed out the week on Thursday with Thanksgiving wishes.

This week we heard from a St. Olaf staff member, a guest from our ELCA synod, and two senior students. William (Mack) Austin, custodian of Boe Chapel and Pastor of God's Revelation Church in Minneapolis, spoke on Monday. On Tuesday we were joined by Emily Carson, Director of Communications for the Southeastern Minnesota Synod. Our two student speakers, Andrew Reuter '19 and Holden Miller '19, finish off the week.

College Pastors Matthew Marohl and Katherine Fick share sermons and music selections from St. Olaf's Holy Week celebration in Boe Memorial Chapel. We begin with two sermons on Maundy Thursday, a Good Friday homily, music and a reading from the Vigil, and end triumphantly with Easter morning. This week we hear from two students and Pastor Katherine Fick. They discuss discovering the grace all around us and applying to our daily lives. Also, a special treat! Prof. Anna Deveare Smith was on campus this week to accept an honorary degree. During her remarks she spoke about discovering a grace-full way of experiencing and creating art as a connection point for humanity.
Students from month-long Interim trips to France reflect on their study abroad and how it informed their faith. Next, Father Alex Busuttil from the Alto Cayma Mission in Arequipa, Peru speaks on transforming faith into service to others. Finally, Kayla Carlson '19 brings us an inspiring talk on body positivity.
