Nearly a million Rohingya refugees live in Bangladesh―most in the world’s largest refugee camp cluster in Cox’s Bazar, and some on Bhasan Char Island. They are completely dependent on international aid for survival. Ever since they arrived, Caritas Bangladesh, with Development and Peace ― Caritas Canada’s support, has been providing them shelter, sanitation and hygiene services; food; healthcare; cash assistance; work opportunities; and education and protection services.
