Main Idea:
We love the God of grace, but do we love the God of justice? True worship means praising God for all of who He is—both His mercy and His holiness. The cross of Jesus is the ultimate intersection where God's perfect justice and His infinite grace meet.
Challenge:
Do you love the God of justice? Acknowledge the cry for justice in your own heart. Realize that your personal need for grace and the world’s need for justice are both answered at the cross of Christ.

Main Idea:
One of the strongest measures of character is how you treat those who cannot personally benefit you. When David became King, it would have been culturally acceptable to kill Mephibosheth, but he did the exact opposite.
Challenge:
How do you treat those who cannot directly benefit you? How far would you go to keep a promise? How do we see the gospel in Mephibosheth’s story?

The bronze serpent in the wilderness was originally a powerful symbol of salvation, but over time it became an idol unto itself that needed to be destroyed. Yet Jesus does not minimize the bronze serpent's original intent but rather preaches it accurately.

Main Idea While self-care is a helpful tool for maintenance, true and lasting peace is found only by making God our permanent refuge and centering our lives in His presence rather than in fleeting personal rituals.
The Challenge: Stop relying on "water bottle" self-care to save you from life’s storms and instead unashamedly point others toward the "River" of God’s presence by living with visible joy and persistent faith.

Knowing God's will guides us to walk in a manner worthy of Him, and every Christian should desire to do so. Resist the temptation, throughout your life, to separate knowledge about God from actions for God. No church or Christian can claim to simply study God’s Word without “doing the Word.” Similarly, no church or Christian can build a healthy ministry and outreach apart from dependence on the knowledge of God revealed in His Word. What we understand about God should influence how we live and worship. Commit to seeking God’s will while walking worthy of Him, and you will grow in maturity.

Pray and ask the Lord to reveal areas in your life where you’ve depended too heavily on worldly advice, neglecting biblical wisdom.
Trust Three Things:
1. God’s Word is Sufficient
2. Man’s Wisdom is Folly
3. God’s Way is Refreshing

Pastor Jared and Jeff Patrick sit down to talk about his ministry at the Memphis Union Mission and how churches can minster to the homeless population in our city.
Young people lack wisdom and experience and sometimes make bad decisions when they get early chances to lead, I certainly did. However, my church’s gentle response to me helped me to continue growing and to love my local church as I learned “on the job.” This episode is about creating a church culture that allows young people to try things, potentially flop, and not come away discouraged.
On this day, three thousand people came to the horrifying realization that they had crucified their very own Messiah after a convincing plea from Peter on the day of Pentecost. For those who repented and received Jesus, it was not too late to experience eternal salvation.

Jesus sets us free from the penalty, presence, and power of sin! "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." - John 8:36

God is faithful. He will never abandon us. He is there, he loves us, and he cares about us.
Happiness is impacted by our external circumstances but joy is an internal reality that is based and rooted in our faith in Jesus Christ.
"For this reason I bend my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:14-21

Our desire as we pray should be to honor God, revere God, and align ourselves with His will.
God's heals our broken hearts through his presence, his promises, his peace, his people, and with patience.
