Hi, My Name is Rohit, I am a Science policy and science communication enthusiast with a PhD degree in chemical science and post-doctoral experience in Nutraceutical product development. Here I will try to decode complex science in simple words so that people can understand science better.
Hi All, in the first episode of this series, I discussed with you about the myth of boosting one’s immunity, how our immune system works, and how we can keep our immune system healthy to fight infection by eating a balanced diet. As promised in the first episode, I discussed various dietary resources that one can include in their daily diet in a balanced way to keep one’s immune system healthy.
I like to remind you to take nutrients discussed in this episode in a balanced amount. As the deficiency of one or more of these nutrients can increase the frequency and severity of infections, secondly, some of these nutrients in excess can increase susceptibility to infections. Therefore, a balanced diet is key!
