In life as you journey towards destiny, you are going to meet so many people and discover so many things, some vital and a lot of them trivial. The earlier you discover the vital few, the quicker you will drop the trivial many. The greatest guide and helper in this regard is the Holy Spirit.

This sermon is a continuation of the series "All Men and All Things are Not Equal," which in itself is a continuation of the Dominion Partners Annual Conference Theme: “The Secret of Good Success.”
Last Sunday, after reading three major texts of scriptures: Matthew 17:1-9 [MSG] Romans 9:1-16 and I Corinthians 9:24-27 we established 3 significant facts about life:
God deals with us differently - because we respond to Him differently - as He deems fit and other times as we deserve because there is no partiality with God. I Samuel 2:27-30; Cf. II Samuel 22:21-28.
The fact that men and women are born into the same family does not mean that they will end up in the same position or status in life. This is clearly evident in the lives of Cain and Abel who though were siblings from the same womb ended not receiving the same acceptance and recognition from God Almighty, due to the type of offering each one brought to the Lord [Genesis 4:1-5].
People may start the race of life on the same spot, but not all of them will be crowned [I Corinthians 9:24].

Can we then say that Jesus dealt with all the disciples and Apostles equally? How will you classify Paul who was born out of due time? [I Corinthians 15:1-10]. Paul laboured abundantly more than they all, why? The grace of God was with him. Grace makes a difference in our lives.

We are continuing where we stopped last week with the message titled: “The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create it.” Within Biblical context, God is the only creator because He created many things out of nothing. Nevertheless, as His creation, God endowed humanity with creative abilities to make things that did not exist out of what He Himself had created [Exodus 35:30-35].
We must not only find our purpose; we must also discover God’s hidden purpose within our purpose [I Chronicles 14:1-2; Philippians 3:12-15]. The under-guarding forces of evident productivity in successful people are the unseen forces of purpose and priority. Therefore, take it or leave it, there cannot be productivity where purpose is not known or understood and priority is not set.

From the life of David, also that of Joseph, Moses, Esther and other heroes and heroines of faith, it is clear that the discovery of purpose is the entrance examination into “SOP” - The School of Process. There is a hidden purpose in your purpose, you will need to go through process before your progress can be evident to all.

Focus is a critical factor in the success equation. God does not expect less from those who worship Him [Matthew 6:22-24]. Get rid of multitasking as a philosophy of life or work ethics. Stay focused and finish one thing before you start another [Mark 7:31-37]. By so doing, you will amazingly increase your productivity.

This sermon is all about the pleasant surprises we have heard and exciting discoveries we have made in the course of our transition to The Citadel [Proverbs 4:14-19]. The established pattern is simple; many of the things we do in the now have been pre-determined by God in the past. God wrote the script; we are his actors on the stage of life. Sometimes, when we take pride in our abilities and talents, we simply forget that they were given to us in the first place to serve and fulfil God’s purpose on the earth.

In this sermon we will look at the 3rd Component, the two pillars in the Citadel logo, both materially and theologically.

We all need to have the character of God, in order to access God’s provisionary plan for our lives and to exercise spiritual authority in our domain of influence.
The logo of the CGCC and its significant components:
-- The golden square represents the 4 corners of the globe. This is similar to the ark of the covenant with four corners which facilitated its being carried by four men of equal stature. In scriptural numeric, 4 is the number of the earth. This is why it is constant whenever the earth is mentioned in this regard [Ezekiel 37:9-10]. From The Citadel, the knowledge of God will spread to the four corners of the earth and His Glory will be declared among the nations. This implies that all genuine Citadelites are carriers of God's glory [I Chronicles 16:1-2; 7-14; 24-31]. -- That the square is golden is symbolic of our strategic progression as a ministry with global impact blessed by God to inherit the labour of the nations and disposes them of their idols.
The lone star is also symbolic of two things:
-- It was spoken about in the Old Testament and it manifested in the New Testament. This lone star is the star of Bethlehem, the Bright and Morning Star [Numbers 24:15-17; Matthew 2:1-12; 2 Peter 1:16-21; Revelation 22:16]. -- It is important to also know that other stars are incorporated in the lone star. The lone star has both the global and the community aspects of our ministry. Since Christ is the head of the Church and we are His body, incorporated in the lone star therefore are the shining stars in the firmament symbolic of soul-winners and the morning stars given to all overcomers as promised by the Lord, Jesus Christ [Daniel 12:3; Revelation 2:25-29; II Peter 1:16-21].

In order to succeed in what God has called us to do in life, each one of us must recognize our gift and know our goal. When you are clear about your gift and you know your goal and are committed to both, then you need to demonstrate two qualities: discipline and determination.
As we transit into The Citadel, where stars will be born, and futures will be created, where by God’s grace we will all experience new beginnings with new possibilities:
-Recognize your gifts -Know your goal -Dedicate yourself to the process no matter how long it takes -Trust God to bless your efforts.

For the past three Sundays, we have focused our attention essentially on lessons from Church history; an anchor to the present and a peep to the future. From all we have learnt one thing stands out “any living church that is blessed with visionary leadership can re-invent itself and bounce back, again and again despite great persecutions and the attacks of the enemy.”

We established that our focus after 30 years as a church is to build an enduring institution, rather than playing church or just having church activities and ad-hoc routines, rituals and programs. Institution building has much more to do with what goes on inside an organization than the physical structure housing the organization.

It is said that the best way to predict the future is to create it. As we transit into the Citadel, a vertical city with very broad horizontal proportions, our desire and propelling force is to:
• Grow Up • Grow Big • Grow rich • Grow Together
Consequently, our focus in this transition period and beyond is institution building. We are going beyond membership drive to making disciples of every nation beginning with ours.

In this sermon, we are back to our unfinished business, the last segment of the series titled “Hear, my Children, the Instruction of Your Father.” Towards the tail end of last year, we received the first of three sound instructions. In the first instruction, we were encouraged to dare to dream. In the second instruction, we were cheered to prepare for the future NOW! Today’s instruction is also very simple “Identify Your Opportunities and Seize Them”.

God almighty who prepared Joseph for 30 years before He thrust him into rulership and prepared David for 30 years before he became king over Israel. This same God has held us in check and prepared us for 30 years. It is a new day, the future we once spoke about is here. The shadow of the old has given way to the sunlight of the new. There is no going back, The Citadel Global Community Church is a NOW reality.

There are two sides to the word exponential. It’s a mathematical term that involves an exponent. That is a quantity representing the power to which a given number or expression is to be raised. However, when used simply as a noun, an exponent is a person who supports an idea or a theory and tries to persuade people of its truth or benefits [Deuteronomy 1:6-11. Cf. Daniel 1:3-9; 11-21].

Since the beginning of the Year, we have concentrated on where we are going without abandoning where we came from and where we are at presently. To deepen our understanding of the times and seasons we are in, we have used the acronym “The Old, The New & The Now”. May this present truth be internalized until we are completely changed and transformed by the same in Jesus Name, Amen [Romans 12:2 NLT].

Welcome to the Citadel Inaugural service. Today is the beginning of our transition into the Citadel. We have since stepped out of the OLD into the NEW and we are about to experience "THE NOW" [Isaiah 43:18-19].

In part 3 in the series "The El-Shaddai Anointing" Pastor, 'Tunde Bakare teaches on tithing principles. Some hold the view that payment of tithe is an old testament practice, rooted in the Aaronic priesthood and should be discarded because it is obsolete. That way of thinking couldn't be further from the truth. The payment of tithes or the giving of first fruits and offerings is not God's way of raising money for His Church, rather it is His way of raising His people out of the grip of greed, covetousness and the attendant poverty.

Nothing activates the El-Shaddai anointing like obedience to God and nothing perpetuates its flow like honouring God and being rich towards Him [Genesis 17:1-8]. The critical word in Genesis 17:1 is obedience; this became the legacy of Abraham the father of faith and the friend of God [Genesis 26:1-6; Hebrews 11:8-12; 17-19].

In the past thirty years, we have stood on this platform at The Latter Rain Assembly, in line with our God-given mandate, to birth timely interventions towards the making of a great nation. Our contributions have been shaped not by changing public opinion but by an unrelenting commitment to the dominion mandate. Therefore, from the priestly to the prophetic and the princely, we have held the fort as nation builders for whom Nigeria is the primary place of assignment.
Successful people are those who do with excellence the things God calls them to do. In God’s value system, success is not what you have done compared to what others have done; that is competition. Success is what you have done compared to what you are supposed to do. Good success cannot be without true prosperity, they are two sides of the same coin and have very little to do with material possessions. Neither Eliazar nor Joseph had material possessions of their own, nonetheless, both prospered and were successful. Therefore, there must be more to success and prosperity than material mesmerism.
Materialism camouflaging as true success has eaten the soul of the church. That is why today there is very little difference between the world and the church as the thin line between miracles and magic and between revelation and divination has become blurred. The greatest need right now is for the true church of God to emerge so that the synagogue of satan can be put out of business.
2019 is our year of "God's Bountiful Blessings - GBB." In this year the captives of the mighty are going to be delivered and the citizens of this nation are going to be set free; they will arise and the veil over the nation will be removed.
There is no better time to preach this message than now as we prepare ourselves for 2019 Our GBB Year. In Matthew 11:11&12 The Lord Jesus spoke some thought-provoking truths. "The Kingdom of God has been forcefully advancing and only the forceful can lay hold of it." (NIV.) If you care to know the thrust of the Prophetic Anointing carried by John especially is to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. The preparation here has to do more with your character than your skills, talents, abilities or competencies. Prepare now! Deal with every dream thief, dream killer and deal with all the termites of destiny before they destroy and eat you up.
Certain outcomes in life are fixed or pre-determined but our choices as free moral agents are contributory factors; God did not create us as zombies [Jeremiah 29:8-22 Cf. Romans 8:22-32].

Today’s Message is the beginning of a new series themed “Children, Hear The Instructions Of Your Father.” Through this new series will bequeath to us some extremely important and powerful instructions; whichever direction you are looking in life, these instructions will guide you.
Ministers of the gospel are not just stewards of the mysteries of God as servants of Christ, they are also expected to be good stewards of the manifold grace of God [I Peter 4:7-11].
These qualities must also be in parents - as priests of their home over God’s heritage [Psalm 127:3; I Peter 5:1-4]. One standard to which all stewards will be held is “accountability”. Everyone will give an account of their stewardship to God someday [Luke 16:1-2].
Success without succession is a failure. It's our responsibility to pray from Psalm 37:4 and Job 42:12-17 "Lord show us what and when our end will be and grant us the grace to put our houses in order."
Speech by Pastor 'Tunde Bakare at The State of The Nation Broadcast on Sunday, October 7, 2018.
In the final day of our Nation Builders Prayer Summit, Pastor Bakare capped it all off with a teaching about ‘Rebuilding Ancient Ruins.’ In it we learned that true and genuine nation builders can only succeed in their assignment by following God’s example [Isaiah 51:1-6]. He has the pattern and prototype, He knows how to rebuild ancient ruins, thus we don't need to reinvent the wheel. Righteousness exalts a nation, therefore it is only to the saved and the righteous that God will give and commit His word for the rebuilding exercise [Isaiah 51:15-16].
In Day 5 of our solemn assembly, Pastor Bakare began by instructing us to reflect on who we are becoming. It is worthy to note that everyone around you has the potential to influence who you are becoming, either positively or negatively [I Kings 21:25-26]. Without the manipulative role of Jezebel in the issue of Naboth’s vineyard, Ahab had no intention of killing him over his land. However, her scheming with the evil elders and nobles to eliminate Naboth attracted a death warrant to the wicked couple [I Kings 21:17-24]. He rounded up the sermon by showcasing two kings who started well but finished poorly because of compromise.
“The day when everything begins to change in Nigeria is today.” Day 4 began with Pastor Deolu Akinyemi guiding us in a discussion about ‘Our Role In Enforcing God’s Will In Our Nation.’ Hitherto, we may have been doing some of those things without paying attention but it is important now more than ever for us to have a mindfulness of what we ought to do; the things that will bring into effect what God has in store for us. To cap off the evening, Pastor Dele Osunmakinde taught on the 12 attributes nation builders need to be well aquatinted with, and the need for visionary youth to arise and key into the God-given dreams of our fathers.
Day three of our Nation Builders Prayer Summit had Pastor Shola Adesoye starting us off by contemplating in prayer the mind of God concerning us as a nation. It is human that when we’re confronted with certain realities for our hearts be gripped by fear, however, it is how we respond to that fear that matters. Jehoshaphat responded appropriately by declaring a fast to seek the face of God [II Chronicles 20:1-17]. To round it all up Pastor ‘Tunde Bakare taught and prayed around the theme ‘The Cause of National Calamities and Their Antidote’
On the opening night, we spent time examining the Mt. Carmel challenge between Elijah and Ahab along with the prophets of Baal. These wicked men and their king, as well as Jezebel, had derailed and confused Israel to the point of not knowing who the true God is. Elijah asked them a question “Why are you faltering between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him, and if Baal, follow him.” In this sermon, we will be relating this to believers and examining the possible reasons why people falter between two opinions.
On this opening night of the Nation Builders Summit, this teaching is set to explain what we can expect “when kingdoms clash” as they are about to in Nigeria [I Kings 18:1-2; 17-40]. Elijah stood on Mt. Carmel addressing a crowd that spanned into the distance. He cried aloud and asked a relevant and timely question “How long will you falter between two opinions?” The challenge was clear “If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.”
Without controversy, those who operate in wisdom must think of their end and put a succession plan in place. It is for this reason people write their wills before they die and it is for the same reason that good people raise and mentor those who will succeed them. As Kings and Priests to our God, examples abound for us in the Bible so that we can put our houses, our ministry and our businesses in order. To ignore this is equivalent to failure. This is the whole thrust of Apostolic Succession and is clearly evident in the lives of the patriarchs as well as notable kings and leaders in the Bible.
As we discovered in last weeks sermon, not only are our times in the hands of God; our stories did not begin with us and will likely not end with us. We all are links in God’s continued prophetic chain that began in eternity and will unfailingly and in eternity. With that understanding, we can begin to recognise the dynamics of prophetic progression as we examine God’s word to Abraham regarding his descendants. A key to unlocking the blessings that come with prophetic progression is understanding that “known unto God are all His works from eternity” and that “He watches over His word to fulfil it.”
God's work did not start with us, and it won’t end with us either. We are simply privileged actors at different stages of God's long chain of prophetic activities. Our resolve as individuals should be to ensure that we are not weak links in that chain. To achieve that is no small feat as it requires our Obedience, Patience to hear what God wants for us individually, and our Prayers to know when He wants us to take prompt steps in the direction He is leading us.
In this sermon Elder Wale Lasenide teaches the importance of sticking to the timing of God and not trying to figure things out on your own. Psalm 31:15 [a] "My times are in Your hands."
In continuation of our theme ‘Prophetic Progression and Apostolic Succession’, this message is aimed at highlighting principles to live by especially as it relates to the changing tides in life and the situations surrounding them.
If your dream is God-given, then know that you don’t have what it takes to bring it to pass. Only God can bring His dream to fulfilment. Joseph was such a man whose dream was given by God and he had to go through the refining process of betrayal, slavery and imprisonment before God brought that dream to pass. Just like Joseph, if you have been given a dream by God, this refining process is a time of confusion which will lead to wandering. This period comes when there are more troubles than solutions.
