We were told that people are offended with the Christian messages associated with Christmas and that's why you have to tone it down. Everything from public Nativity displays to wearing red and green in some places had to be stopped because someone might have hurt feelings. Yet this year, there's a hug uptick in sale of decor.

A lot of people from all walks of life in this country do not like what is going on. There is a looming threat of Neo-Feudalism on the horizon. Some of these people plan to secede from society altogether. They are not restricted by the law of corrupt aristocracies - they are above them. They've awakened to the fact that what Tolkien said is true:
“The most improper job of any man, even saints (who at any rate were at least unwilling to take it on), is bossing other men. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity.”
They're not wrong. But why don't other Americans wake up? Inconvenience and fear. The latter makes people do very foolish things.
