So after another weeks delay due to Doc being away in the fantasia that is Butlin's Bognor Regis we are back to talk the knock out stages so far.
Quarters are covered and then we move on to the chalk and cheese of the semis.
Last on the list, a forward look at the final, and we can't contain our excitement.
Have a listen and give us a shot on the social medias and lets look forward to a brilliant RWC final.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So the group stages are done.
Doc and Si digest and discuss all the matches in the second half of the group stages, especially the last one.
They then focus on the quarter finals and give their predictions of the semi final contenders.
Thanks for listening and please spread the word.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
P.S. Look out for Doc's purposeful mistake giving a shout out to Hungary. He must not of been fed!
So week 2 of the RWC is over and Doc and Si review all the matches from it. One in particular cough Japan Ireland cough
All good fun and everything said in jest. We know our comeuppance is on its way.
A slow week news wise but we are just excited for more rugby that's on its way.
Have a listen and spread the word.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So it's finally started. The Rugby World Cup Japan 2019 has arrived.
Doc and Si give the first week the once over and then look on to the next week discussing all the movers and shakers.
The discussion of the referees and the lack of red cards is had. Doc has a lot to say about that.
Have a listen and share. We'll be back next week with a round up of week 2.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So we are back again after another little break. Only a smidge this time.
This week Doc and Si look forward to the biggest rugby event of the last 4 years the Rugby World Cup.
We look at the Southern lot, the Norther not and the rest with absolutely no research and going on just pure gut instinct.
We are now off to get some rest so we can be up nice and early for the start of the RWC on Friday.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So Jamie is on his hols, and that saves our sense of smell as the Wanna Ruck studio is smelling a lot fresher.
Si returns to give us all a master class in back play. Can pretty much be written down on a postage stamp but we like to entertain him.
Games of the week:
New Zealand trouncing Australia South Africa squeaking past Argentina Wales and England boring us in Cardiff
A massive slow news week but we find a couple of nuggets to go over.
Have a listen and subscribe. Let us know your opinions on the social medias.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
We are back!
After a long recovery from Easter Tour we are finally back and we have a new host joining us in the mighty figure of Si, a back of all things.
We cover the latest internationals of merit, England v Wales and Australia v New Zealand
We get down and dirty in the news covering all the World Cup news and all the transfers for the premiership.
Below is the Wade clip on his debut for the Buffalo Bills.
https://youtu.be/I8d11hkDGX8
Have a listen and let us know what you think.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
It's Raining Balls!
So we are back after a week off, one of us spent the week in a pine clad bar entertaining themselves.
We cover the bottom of the table dog fight:
Newcastle v Leicester
Worcester v Sale
Bristol v Saracens
We then cover the news but absolutely nothing has happened, at all (absolutely nothing!), so news is pretty short.
And don't forget only 157 days and counting till the RWC!
Enjoy and share.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So hot on the heels of our last sickly episode we are back to fill your ears with more rugby goodness.
And what great rugby it was. We feature the 4 quarter finals of the Champions Cup and struggle to get over the all French affair.
Jamie's fun time is still here much to Doc's delight.
Have a listen, share the love and tell your mates. If you have a spare moment please leave a review on iTunes.
We'll be back in 2 weeks as one of the crew is off sliding down a mountain on 2 planks of wood.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So the dreaded lergie has infiltrated the Wanna Ruck Camp. Sorry for the delay in this podcast but we pushed through to get it out.
This week we focus back on the Premiership fixtures:
Leicester v Northampton
Saracens v Harlequins
Newcastle v Sale
Jamie lets us know what the Olympic Stadium is like as he was actually at the Sarries match. There is a small discussion on a proposed law change gleaned from Northern Touch which Doc is disgusted about.
The idea of picking England players from the Championship is muted, presumable to stop the exodus from Leicester just in case they go down.
Have a listen, and please share.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
I can't believe we did this but we cover the final round of the 6 Nations but wishing we were watching the Premiership Rugby Cup Final.
We brush over Italy v France, show disappointment with the Irish in Wales v Ireland and all our despair comes flowing out at England v Scotland.
We just about get it up to pick our XV for the tournament.
Jamie has some light hearted news that tries to lift the spirits of the room, literally.
Doc crows big and loud on winning the 6 Nations Fantasy league and keeping the "trophy". Sure this will be brought up again in the future.
Have a listen, enjoy and share.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So round 4 of the 6 Nations.
We show our disappointment with France not managing to get it up. Scotland, so close but no cigar and England - Italy, was there any point.
Jamie upsets the Irish and Doc slags off one of our French listeners.
There is also a quick look at the Nations Championship, another crappy initiative by the IRB. When will they learn that it's all good as it is apart from Italy.
Oh and Doc is still smug sitting pretty on top of the fantasy table, can anyone wipe the smile off his face.
Have a listen, spread the word and let us know what you think.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
A rest week is upon us and gone. We cover 3 of the big Premiership matches and Dave Ward's unstoppable 10 mins.
Bristol - Gloucester
Bath - Harlequins
Leicester - Coventry (Wasps I suppose)
We also chime in on the 4G plastic pitch debate, Docs made it quite clear what he thinks about them.
A little look forward to next weeks results and a small moment of reflection to have a pop at one of our listeners.
Have a listen, enjoy and share.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
Right rest week over so back to full 6 Nations line up.
Doc gives us the low down on his first refereeing appointment and how he, somehow, got injured. Go figure.
We talk over the depression that was England's performance and give kudos to those that deserve it.
New is sparse but we manage to fill the time with a new section that is called "Jamie's fun time!" We can only send our apologies. Going to try to squash that one.
Have a listen and enjoy, spread the word.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So Jamie is again AWOL this week, we'll give him pass as he is sunning himself in Spain. His tan better be good.
The start of the Super Rugby season is upon us and we celebrate by covering the first and last matches of the opening round. We also have a look at the West Country derby.
Fixtures as follows:
Chiefs v Highlanders
Gloucester v Exeter
Jaguares v Lions
Casting our eye over next weeks third round of 6 Nations matches we see who is in and who is out. Also times are nervous with the injuries flying around.
Have a listen and hope you enjoy. Please share and give us a shout on Facebook or Twitter.
Crouch! Bind! Set
So round 2 of the 6 Nations has come and gone. Jamie had gone AWOL, something about a bit of a sniffle. Probably not a rugby term.
We discuss all 3 of the big matches from the weekend and give a nod to the Women's 6 Nation matches.
News is slow but more tears were shed over the loss of Mako for the rest of the tournament.
As ever we hope you enjoy, please have a listen and share.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
It's finally happened. All 3 of us in the room at the same time and what a weekend to do it.
We cover all 3 of the big 6 Nations matches, Jamie has some silly nick name game and we cry a little over Maro's knee injury.
Apologies for the poor quality of Faith's mic. It just got too excited all 3 of us were there and it shot it's load.
Have a listen, enjoy and please share.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
So a week out from the 6 nations and exciting games on the telly were few and far between, so we decided to follow the weather to watch a load of knock ons.
Highlighted games are:
Bristol v Exeter - Premiership Cup (The What?!?)
Cardiff v Connacht - Pro 14
Toulouse v Grenoble - Top 14
As promised we go over the Celtic nation's squads for the 6 nations, well those that we know, and give our predictions for this upcoming weekend's fixtures.
Have a listen, enjoy and share. Find us on FB @wannaruckcast and the twitters @wannaruck
Crouch! Bind! Set!
We're on a roll! Two in a row.
Unfortunately we managed to choose the three worst games of the season to cover. Jamie is completely to blame. He's only been here one week.
We cover:
Edinburgh v Montpellier
Munster v Exeter
Wasps v Leinster
Then on to some news and an in-depth discussion about the recently announced England squad for the 6 Nations. But don't worry we'll be covering the other Celtic nations next week.
Have a listen, enjoy and spread the word.
Crouch, Bind, Set!
So we are back after a little hiatus!
Our main focus games from the weekend's European Champions Cup fixtures are:
Gloucester v Munster
Bath v Wasps
Toulon v Edinburgh
Then after that a little chat about player movements at the end of European seasons and a look at the South African Super Rugby teams special shirts.
It's great to be back.
Crouch! Bind! Set!
A little late but better than never.
This week we discuss the quater finals of the Super Rugby and the fallout from these fixtures, Hurricanes v Chiefs, Crusaders v Sharks, Warratahs v Highlanders and Lions v Jaguares.
We also look into the future and give predictions for the semi finals.
Download/Stream, have a lesson and let us know your opinion.
Crouch, Bind, Set!
So now that a certain world cup is over we can settle back to a proper sport, that of Rugby Football Union.
We can't apologise enough for last week. Doc had a bout of the man flu and Faith decided to have part of his anatomy removed. Very inconsiderate of him.
This week we focus on the last round of the Super Rugby before it goes into the knock out stages. Faith does his best attempt to describe how it works over an apple flavoured recovery shake.
The three games focused on are Chiefs v Hurricanes, Crusaders v Blues and the Warratahs v Brumbies. Some more exciting than others.
Have a listen and spread the word.
Catch you in a weeks time,
Crouch, Bind, Set!
We've finally come down off of that cloud after England's win in the third test versus SA, so sorry it's a day late but the celebrations were epic.
This week we praise the rugby gods for that what is Super Rugby. We cover all the matches as things build up in the Southern Hemisphere and take a closer look at the Blues v Reds, Highlanders v Chiefs taking place in Fiji and Brumbies v Hurricanes.
The news this week is all about retirements, and we don't mean our own.
Have a listen, subscribe and give us some feedback.
Crouch, bind, set!!
So the await is finally over, England won!
Chat this week is mostly confined to the internationals and the main 3 are NZ v Fra, Aus v Ire and the one we were both waiting for, SA v Eng. Eddie's back in our good books again.

Union's answer to State of Origin: Why the North v South game needs to come back
Next week we focus back on Super Rugby, but who doesn't love a bit of that.

Catch you next week.
Another England loss, another depressing week for the 2 of us.
This week the main matches covered were New Zealand v France, same old story there, Australia v Ireland, a tantalising match that evens out the series, and South Africa v England, all stating to look a little bit like deja vous when it comes to the Roses.
Was a slow news week so all we could really touch on was the news that Julian Savea may be off to Montpellier, well he's not getting much action back in NZ

We're off now to go through our family tree, see if we can find some tenuous link to another nation, any will do right now!
So with the prologue out of the way we are now in full swing.
Today we covered the 3 main internationals that happened over the weekend, New Zealand France, Australia Ireland and unfortunately for us South Africa England.
We also discussed why it's not good to jump out of a toboggan while flying down a hill in Prague and the current state of international call ups, not looking in your direction Brad Shields.

The first episode of the Wanna Ruck Podcast.
This has nothing like the format we will be acutally producing and appologies for the fan noise in the background. This won't be there when the first episode hits the data lines.
An episode just to get us out there and registered with all podcast agregators.
