Have you ever wondered why some Network Marketers are more successful than others?
How some people can have great teams and a thriving business, while others with the EXACT SAME skills, training and work ethic struggle?
I have. And a Speaker & Coach since 2001 and author of 7 books (including Winning in Direct Sales & How to Overachieve w/o Over Committing), it turns out that success is LESS about learning something new that works, and more about UNLEARNING something old that doesn't.
And that's a conversation around mindset.
Which is why during this podcast I share some everyday success habits for getting out of your own way - both in mindset and skill set - so you can stop the self sabotage and accelerate your results in the areas of recruiting, team building and the overall growth of your network marketing business…without being pushy or salesy.
We had a chance to talk to Louise Adrian all the way up in the Great North (Canada), about what she's done to be successful in her network marketing business. It's some good stuff. :)
This is something that I personally struggled with (and sometimes still do). :(
But once I realized what was happening I absolutely became more productive (without killing myself in the process)!
And I think you'll be able to do the EXACT same thing! :)
This is a question I've personally found to be SUPER helpful when it comes to growing myself and my business. :)
In my opinion, 80% of success comes from having the right mindset.
Yes, skillset is important. But success in my experience has been derived LESS from what you do and MORE from how you think.
And that has proven absolutely to be true when it comes growing your network marketing business.
So if you're looking to get off to a great start this year in your networking marketing business, how about we step into a mindset of success to get that ball rolling, shall we?
Well 2022 is coming to a close, and with that...a couple (more) adjustments for the New Year that can absolutely grow your Network Marketing Business. Enjoy!

I don't know about you guys, but I was feeling this way just the other day.
So I did an episode on what I did to get back on track. :)
This is an interesting one, as I didn't realize I was doing it until MUCH later on in life. :)
We had a chance to catch up with Jeannie Bellinger as she talked about how to motivate, inspire and talk so others will listen.
If you're a Leader of a Network Marketing Team of 10 or more folks, you'll definitely want to tune in to this.
This is something that REALLY shifted my mindset when it came to sales in general and recruiting in particular.
Now for those of you who know and work with me, you know I'm definitely an energy guy.
I'm all about the energy you put out is the energy / results you get back, and if you're having challenge in your life as it relates to being more successful, that's the FIRST place I look...what I call my signature vibrational energy.
So what's a simple way to get that law of attraction (and vibrational energy) really working for you?
Well stay tuned as its actually not as hard as you would think.
We had a chance to catch up with another guest from across the pond.
Chris Mansfield is a professional networker and has some definite do's and don'ts for those of us looking to build our business through word of mouth.

You might have heard the phrase, "Nice guys finish last".
But in Joy's case, she thinks the exact opposite: That nice people finish FIRST.
And by building your network marketing business through gratitude, you'll absolutely finish ahead of the pack.
Some really good stuff.

I was able to catch up with Jennie Bellinger today as we talk about effective leadership and how to find balance in your Network Marketing life.

Now isn't THAT an interesting thought?
Having balance WHILE building your network marketing business.
Well, that's EXACTLY what we talk about as Carolyn Russ shares her story of success and growth over the past few years.
How does a singer, songwriter and poet stay organized?
Great question.
And one we answer - and relate back to your networking marketing biz - in our latest interview w/a good friend of mine, Alice Osborn.
We all know how busy we can be throughout the day.
So how can you overcome the overwhelm and move forward in your network marketing business?
Here's a quick tip for doing just that.
Ahhh, the inner critic.
You know who we're talking about. :(
Well today we talk about a real practical way to silence that inner critic inside of your network marketing business. :)
Well we are in for a REAL treat today, as I got a chance to sit down with #1 Affiliate (SendOutCards) Jordan Adler!
And of course, we had a really good convo about what it takes to be successful in your network marketing company.
You'll definitely want to tune into this.
Let's face it: Half the battle when it comes to moving forward in our network marketing business is just getting out of own way enough so we can be successful!
So with that in mind, I went ahead and highlighted something that affects ALL of us...and what we can do to stop.
Enjoy.
Brian gets into a personal story around how he had been asking the wrong question in the past, which has lead to some (not so) successful results.
But when turned around and done "right" can actually have an extremely positive result in attracting your very next super star recruit.
This is an episode you'll definitely want to listen to.
As a sports person, this is something that really differentiates playoff and championship teams from their less successful counterparts.
Winning plays.
And it's a mindset that when done properly, can literally turn you into a championship caliber team.
And the same thing is true in networking marketing.
Best-Selling Author & Speaker Brian Hilliard explains.
With everything that's going on in the world today, it can be a little hard sometimes to have the right mindset for moving forward as a Network Marketer.
Well David Andrew talks about that and what he suggests you can do to find more balance and peace in your life.

Has this ever happened to you? You have an hour to work in the business. Maybe it's after work, or at lunch or maybe just a Saturday morning before everyone wakes up.
Regardless, you go into the office, start answering email, responding to texts, then next thing you know you're on Facebook and 35 mins have gone by and you STILL haven't done what you originally wanted to do?
I know I definitely have...and so have others I've worked with.
Here are some thoughts on how you can aviod this from happening and more be productive (and less stressed) in the process!
We had a chance to catch up with Kathy Mays as we talked about some everyday success habits for network marketers.
I have a simple question for you: Is your mindset "showing up" in the right way to be successful? Because if you're looking to move your business forward, but seem to be stuck at a certain income level or team size or whatever, then your mindset might actually be the thing holding you back.
We had a chance to catch up with my good friend Gail Stolzenburg, who's one of my longest running friends I met through business!
Anyway, he's been in network marketing for the last 20+ years, and we had a really good conversation on what you need to do to be more successful in the network marketing biz.
Really good stuff. :)
I was feeling reflective the other day and started thinking, "If I was able to boil it all down, what's the one thing that has really allowed me to be more successful and more productive in my business life?" And the answer was actually a lot easier than I thought. :)
This actually is a little counter-intuitive because you hear people say all the time, "Tell your story, tell your story, tell your story."
And that is certainly well meaning and in most cases great advice.
But as I was telling one of my clients recently, there is a little bit of a darkside with leading with your story all the time which can be counter productive for growing your network marketing business.
This is something I hear a LOT.
"Brian, I'm trying to grow my biz but I feel like I'm all over the place and quite frankly just overwhelmed with everything I need to do."
"How can I grow my business AND maintain balance with my family?"
Great question and one I answer right here.
This is a question that I didn't personally develop, but is one that I personally use ALL the time in my own coaching business. With terrific results.
You ever wonder why some Network Marketers are more successful than others?
Why some have thriving teams and growing businesses, while others with the EXACT SAME skillset, training and work ethic seem to struggle?
I know I have and here's one of the reasons why.
This is something that a LOT of people do (including myself sometimes), but is an absolutely killer when it comes to growing your network marketing business.
We had a chance to catch up with Louise Adrian and this was some good stuff! We talked about communication skills as it relates to recruiting, leadership and getting more of your social media posts actually read.
Definitely something you don't want to miss.
I don't know about you, but finding the time to get stuff done - especially the high impact work that takes up more time but has a definite bigger bang for my buck - can feel quite overwhelming.
Well here's a little trick that I have personally used with great success, and is something you might want to consider as well.
We had a chance to catch up with Michael LeBlanc as we talked about mindset, work ethic and all sorts of other things as it relates to being successful in business.
This is one you won't want to miss.
So Dr. Randi is actually a little bit of an introvert. Or that's how she started out in her Networking Marketing journey. But somewhere between signing on her first client and leading a team of dedicated team of network marketing professionals...something changed. Tune into to her story.
We had a chance to catch up with Shannon Mains as she talked about some specific success principles that she used to be one of the top earners in her Company.
We also had Michelle Slavney-Trovato join us as a Guest Interviewer...needless to say we had a blast!
Let's face it: We ALL live in a world where its go, go, go...push, push, push.
And that can be detrimental to your physical and overall emotional well-being, no question about it.
So here's a little secret I like to keep in mind which helps me manage my energy better through out the day.
We had a chance to catch up with Adrian Chenault to talk about generating word of mouth referrals from networking, and how as Network Marketers we can really excel in area where some people seem to shy away from. :(
Anyway, you'll definitely want to hear Adrian's take on all of this.
This is something that I've actually been using in my own life for at least the lat 3 or 4 years, but it came up with one of our clients in the Fast Track Success Mastermind Program so I wanted to share it with you guys real quick.
Enjoy.
So I've been super productive lately and felt a little tired, but NOT exhausted.
And as I was on my way to getting something to eat I was thinking to myself, I wonder why that's the case.
Which lead me to this quick hitter video on how to reach your goals - and be more successful - without feeling, exhausted, depleted and completely worn out. :)
Ahhh, the inner critic.
That familiar voice inside our head that does everything it can to let us know how unworthy we are of just about everything.
Needless to say we need to stop that constant nagging before we can even begin to have a conversation about stepping into our true potential.
So here's a good first step.
This is something that I picked up from Shirzad Chamine, developer of Positive Intelligence and it is absolutely awesome if you ever get a chance to read his book.
Anyway, it's something I wanted to share with you guys since I think its absolutely vital for at least understanding how you can get out of your own way.

If you're not as successful as you want to be doing what you're doing...maybe you should think about doing something different. :)
I call that making some adjustments and that's what I was actually doing on the golf course as well!
So we've ALL had a very different, and for some, life changing past 18 months. But what can you do as a go getter as we head into 2022?
Great question and one that I personally answer in this latest Everyday Success Habit.
This is actually an area I personally struggled with.
As a go gather I would do all of these things, engage in all of these activities, and then once I got to my goal, I would just...not really celebrate. :(
And not because I wasn't happy for reaching my goal, but because I was so focused on the next thing that it just got lost in the shuffle.
Sound familar?
Well if so, this is a definitely a video you'll want to look at, because NOT celebrating my success, was actually counter productive to the very success that I was so focused on reaching.
Interesting.
I don't know about you but as a go getter and someone who is definitely an A Type of personality, I certainly can have my challenges when it comes to relaxing.
I used to do a ton of work during the week, and then can have some challenge allowing "down time" over the weekend.
So instead of relaxing I'd either keep working or felt guilty because I wasn't working, then go right back into the week again to do it all over again.
Sound familiar?
Here's what I do now to get around all of that.
As you guys know, I'm a big sports fan, and more specifically with the NBA (basketball).
And one of the things they say is that in the Playoffs, the team that can make the best adjustments wins...always.
Not necessarily because they were the better team per se, but because they adjusted to what the defense was doing on a consistent basis, and from there found away to rise up despite those circumstances.
I think the same thing is true with success.
As a Type A Personality myself, one of my challenges was learning how to relax over the weekend. I'd do all of this work through out the week, and I'd have this gravitational pull to keep working.
And if I didn't, I'd feel guilty for not being "productive"!
Obviously that's not necessarily the best thing for your long term health, so here's a real simple adjustment I made that has made ALL of the difference in the world.
This is something I actually got from T. Harv Ecker "Secrets of a Millionaire Mind" and I thought it might be something you'd like to hear.
Here's the thing about success...
You can have it and still NOT be happy.
That's what I call the "dirty little secret of success" because a lot of people don't think about this.
They think that once I get more [fill in the blank] then I'll feel better, and that's simply NOT the case.
Anyway, tune in as Coach & Best-Selling Author Brian Hilliard breaks it down in his latest podcast.
We had a chance to have Michelle Slaney-Trovato stop by the studio to talk about success, mindset and what she tells others who are looking to create success on their own terms.
It's a good one!
This is something that I actually knew about, but for whatever reason fell off the reservation for a little in terms of really being intentional about it...
But now I'm BACK doing it on a consistent basis, and I wanted to share with you one of my everyday success habits.
One of the things that I don't think gets talked about enough is the idea that there isn't just 1 way to be successful.
In other words, you see all of these different folks on television and online saying you need to do it THIS way or you need to do it THAT way and that's all well and good. And not to disrespect them at all, but that doesn't mean that's the ONLY way to be successful.
That's the way that worked for them and potentially hundreds and thousands of others who they coached, but that doesn't mean that it will work for you.
The point: Look at your options and find the right way that works best for you. Which is what I talk about during this latest video.
This is something that I see a LOT from go getters who really are trying to get stuff done and be productive, but in their zeal to move forward as fast as possible...they wind up stressing themselves out in the process.
Sound familiar?
Anyway, tune in to see how Coach & Best-Selling Author Brian Hilliard deals with this someone chronic issue.
Brian was hitting the links today and ran into a situation where he could implement one of his 3 favorite words for success:
Close.
Out.
Strong.
You'll want to tune in for this one.
When it comes to success, there are soooo many things that you hear people say we need to do.
Work hard.
Get up early.
Be a man or woman of your word.
And ALL of those are 100% correct. But today I wanted to talk about something that seems fly under the radar as it were and actually just happened to me recently.
I was out on the golf course the other day and had a chance to hit the old "Texas Wedge". Now what does that have to do with accelerating the success and growth in your business?
Turns out a lot more then you might think.
Normally I tell people NOT to take things personally.
But it turns out there are some situations where taking it personally is EXACTLY what the doctor ordered.
We had a chance to catch up with Maria Ritchers as she talked business success, along with some actions/ideas she's had along the way.
(And yes it's in English...she knows 4 languages.)
This took me a LONG time to finally get...but boy has it made ALL of the difference in the world.
With soooo much to do and soooo little time, how do you stay focused on be successful with the high impact items WITHOUT getting derailed by the "small stuff"?
Great question and one that answer with a very familiar tool.
Something I don't think gets talked about enough is the role that positive energy can play in your overall success.
In other words, when I get up and feel energetic and motivated and just really ready to go...THAT's when I tackle some high priority items that can have a real impact on my overall success.
A lot of people do the opposite...try to get more of the "small stuff" done in an effort to clear more stuff off their to do list. :(
Anyway, tune in to hear me talk real quick about some practical applications for making this principle work in your business life.
People sometimes ask me: So how is that you're able to get stuff done at work, get out to the golf course and do all of these other things without seeming so stressed?
What's your secret?
Great question and one I answer very simply: Concurrent work.
I explain inside!
I was out on the golf course the other day and had a chance to hit the old "Texas Wedge". Now what does that have to do with accelerating the success and growth in your business?
Turns out a lot more then you might think.
We had a chance to catch up with Nikki Whitlock, a massage therapist and practitioner of the Hendrickson Method, as she talks about what it takes to be successful in her business and just life in general.
Come on in and join us...the water is just fine.
I can't overestimate how important this has been for me over the years.
Whether its me getting ready for a big presentation (as pictured here), or a big call / project, getting my mindset right by setting the foundation is absolutely huge!
Here's how I do it.
What's a good way to set yourself up for success and become more resilient in the process?
I'm glad you asked! Stay tuned as Coach & Best-Selling Author Brian Hilliard shares how he does EXACTLY that.
This is actually something that came up during a recent interview I was doing with Tracy Baum, and the point was so good, that I went ahead and did a quick.
Enjoy.
We've all been there...don't have a lot of time, so we start "knocking out" a bunch of stuff.
Except a large majority of that stuff is the "small stuff".
Which makes us feel good for having "gotten stuff done", but not so great at the end of the day, because we still don't feel like we've "gotten anything accomplished".
I call that the "tyranny of the small" and is one of the biggest ways people get into their own. Well no more!
Listen in as Brian talks about 3 Ways to avoid the "tyranny of the small" and what you can do to get out of your own way and start getting more good stuff accomplished.
I had a chance to catch up with JR Jones the other day, and boy did he have a WEALTH of good information (no pun intended), as it relates to his own everyday success habits.
Good stuff
So this is something that I didn't even know existed as a category until within the last 2 or 3 years, but once I realized what it was - and how to avoid them - boy did this help me stay focused and get more stuff done!
If you're not sure what I'm talking about...you might want to tune in real quick and find out.
Hear Callie's story of how she went from starting out in the network marketing business' bottom rung and then actually won her companies affiliate of the year in 2020!
And of course, some lessons learned along the way.
If you're not as successful as you want to be doing what you're doing...maybe you should think about doing something different. :)
I call that making some adjustments and that's what I was actually doing on the golf course as well!
It's that time again...you know what I'm talking about...
New Year...New You!!!
So with that said, here are 5 things that I'm personally doing to move forward as we head into 2022.
