  • When those values are not honored, we feel pain.

  • We can often see what we value most deeply, by looking at the things that bother us or cause us pain.

  • Looking at the opposite of that pain can reveal our deepest value.
  • Sometimes, when there is too much pain, we act out of that pain instead of staying true to our heart.
  • Learning to identify our deep heart values can help us live from them even in the face of pain and malfunction in ourselves and others.
