From the battlefields of Iraq to the dance floor of ABC's “Dancing with the Stars”, J.R. has woven a remarkable tale of resilience and triumph. The Louisiana-born Army Iraq war veteran, and multifaceted talent has defied expectations at every turn, leaving an indelible mark on the worlds of entertainment, literature, and motivational speaking.
Tragedy struck on April 5th, 2003, less than a month into his deployment. While driving in the outsides of Karbala, a roadside bomb engulfed his Humvee, trapping Martinez within, inflicting severe burns to more than 34% of his body and smoke inhalation. Evacuated to Germany and then San Antonio, he spent 34 months undergoing 33 surgeries, including skin grafts and cosmetic procedures. This harrowing ordeal, however, proved to be a crucible, forging his inner strength and igniting a new purpose.
Besides captivating audiences as a top motivational speaker, J.R. is also an actor, having landed a 3-year role in the TV Show, “All My Children”, and, won the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy on the hit TV Show: “Dancing with the Stars” alongside Karina Smirnoff. He is also a philanthropist and New York Times Best-Selling Author of: Full of heart: “My Story of Survival Strength and Spirit.”

Ed, along with two partners purchased a single Gold’s Gym in Santa Monica, California. Then on June 16, 1980, he opened up the first gym franchise ever with a Gold’s Gym in San Francisco and was later personally involved with thirty-six other Gold’s Gym locations. This was the start of the fitness revolution.
Ed was involved in helping shape the careers of hundreds of individuals, including Ms. Olympia Cory Everson and Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler. He got several dozen athletes into professional wrestling, including Sting, the Ultimate Warrior, and John Cena, along with a number of TV personalities like Evan Marriott (Joe Millionaire), Jessie Godderz (BIG BROTHER), Jessie Pavelka (BIGGEST LOSER), and Joey Gloor ( MTV’s I USED TO BE FAT ). Fabrizio was Born in Manta, Ecuador and was destined for entrepreneurship. At age 14 his father sent him a Nintendo System and that’s where it all started. In his hometown of Manta, most families did not own video game consoles. This gave our Fabrizio the idea to purchase systems and controllers with his job income and then rent them out. This turned into his first business, which was profitable and led to his second business of selling and repairing bicycles in his home town. Still in his teenage years, he was a two time leader of his local chamber of commerce and had formal training to become a politician. Jay Singer started his career at the ripe young age of 16 years old, selling hot dogs, peanuts, and beer at Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden and Shea Stadium, eventually working his way through City College of New York. He took a pay cut from selling in the Stadiums to get a “real job” at Dun & Bradstreet as a commercial collector. That was okay until I went in the field to do a collection and someone pointed a gun at him from the window of their Town House in Manhattan, and that was the end of that job. Jay went on to sell copiers for Saxon. Then moved on to become a Regional Manager for Savin copiers. Continuing to move up in his career, Jay became a VP/GM for ACOPY, who was the largest independent distributor for Canon copiers in the US. ACOPY was acquired by Alco Standard (IKON) where Jay headed up sales for the Northeast District, then became VP of Sales for over 4,000 sales reps/managers at IKON; responsible for $4 billion in revenues. He was at IKON 18 years “herding cats” assimilating their acquired independent dealers into their direct sales channel.
Not liking the direction IKON was taking, he left IKON to open up a consulting company for small businesses who did not know how to build a B2B sales organization and gain “access” to senior executives in enterprise accounts. He was then recruited by a senior executive who he worked with at Savin, ACOPY, and IKON and joined Quadient, where he’s been for the last 11+ years in a senior sales operations role.

Vinnie is a noted expert on fishing and author of several well-known fishing magazines where he wrote the monthly Bahamas fishing forecast and other articles explaining and teaching fishing tactics.
