Here it is. My months-long project! Please check it out and if you like it, share the link with your friends. Thanks! The Iron Subculture Podcast kicks off with an aggressive barrage of hardcore training and nutrition info! With over a dozen guests being grilled for info, you have no choice but to leave this podcast well-stocked with all the information and inspiration you need to force your training to the next level. My two feature guests include contest diet expert Jeff Dwelle and Mike Tuchscherer. Mike Tuchscherer is the creator of the Reactive Training System and it has begun to make a HUGE impact on the training of powerlifters and strongman competitors (and is poised to change the way many bodybuilders plan their training). Since Mike is the first American to win a gold medal in powerlifting at the World Games, it obvious has worked well for him. Jeff Dwelle is not just one of the most successful contest prep coaches, he has put his techniques to the test on his own physique, winning a collection of trophies and Muscle & Fitness covers on his way. He lays down some real world wisdom that you can put to use immediately. Both these guys have not only put in the gym-time themselves, but they have honed their techniques on dozens of other athletes!I also touch base with respected researcher Alan Aragon and discuss a pivotal study that may change your views on nutrient timing. We talk to Shelby Starnes about maintaining motivation and play a classic clip from a never-before-heard interview I did with Mr. Heavy Duty, Mike Mentzer. To add to the mix, I interrogate top experts and popular authors Bret Contreras, Dr. Clay Hyght and Scott Mendelson about some recent articles they have written (you learn as much from these follow-up interrogations as you did from their great writing). We touch base with some of the world’s most interesting athletes as well. We talk to Martin Daniels, perhaps the top drug-tested bodybuilder currently competing; the most shredded contest veteran in the UK Paul George; fast-rising national-level threat Lee Alcorn; Westside Barbell’s Travis Bell tells us what Louie and the boys are up to; and we interview powerlifting’s demented duo, the Swole Patrol. No wonder it’s a double-sized episode. There was just no way I could have packed this much raw sinew, aggression and explosive gut-punch info into a mere light-heavyweight ninety-minute package!Download the "ShowNotes-Episode001" PDF file for active links to all of the websites, articles and additional info discussed on this show. Also, please share this PDF file with your friends from the gym and help me spread the word about Iron Subculture!

Sorry for the unavoidable vagueness of this post. I just spent 26 straight hours doing final editing on a project I have invested three or four months into. I sent it off for a final polishing and it will be launched in two short days. I'm excited, tired, thrilled and anxious to see the response. You will see some more detailed posts from me in the coming days with links on how you can access this great (and FREE) info!
Here it is! We are putting the final polish on it right now. The book should be up and for sale (on eliteFTS.com) in just a few days. Let me know what you think of the cover:
So I managed to drag myself onto Blogger to set-up a profile and make my first post; something I thought I would never do. While I am not a technophobe by any means, I might best be categorized as tech-avoidant. I have a cell-phone, but I just don't notice text messages sometimes for a day or two. I am fairly new to Facebook, but have benefited greatly from it over the past six months with some really great networking. I am hoping that this blog is a similarly positive experience.
I have two projects in the fitness industry that I will launching in the next month. The first is a book entitled Lean Gain Principles that I am writing with Shelby Starnes. In addition to being a great guy, Shelby is an expert at helping bodybuilders come into shows shredded to the bone. He has written four previous books on various aspects of fat loss but this will be the first one to focus on nutrition for the off-season. I'm very proud of what we put together and look forward to hearing reader feedback. Lean Gain Principles will be sold as an e-book through Dave Tate's Elite Fitness Systems website (www.elitefts.com). I will tell you more on this one we approach the release date.
The second project is even bigger, but I'm not quite ready to spill the beans on that. Look for the first installment to launch around the New Year. Right now it is a secret that only me, and about 80 others in the industry that are going to contribute, know about. I'll get back to this one...
