Episode 026 showcases the minimal stylings of Michaelis (@michaelismusik), coming hot on the heels of his recently released Special Assistance EP. An absolute connoisseur of groove, these ninety minutes are a lovely excursion into his heady realms of subtle syncopation and dynamic detail — compiled and mixed fully on vinyl.
Episode 025 sees Luis León (@luisleon) and Padre (@padreuk) joining forces once again, hot on the heels of their recent release, The Flaming Tree. This mix showcases their incredible talent for complex, heady sound design. The first half is a compiled version of The Flaming Tree, and from there the mix only expands into deeper sonic territory.
Episode 024 of the podcast features the super talented South African producer Fka Mash (@realfkamash), who just recently put out a fantastic Glitch Dub remix of One Last on the recently released Bookwood EP. In his own words, PADRE aka Pete Lazonby describes the set as follows:
"In November 2020, doing a show or being able to go out clubbing was only possible in a few countries including Taiwan. Just 80 miles from China, an island of 23.5 million people has had fewer than 1000 Covid cases and only 7 deaths in total.
PADRE (live) @ A Big Hug in Taipei, recorded live on November 21st 2020, is a set which plays on its contrasts. When the mood changes everyone feels the shift. This creates unity in the room. Why not maximise those occasions? Doing so with good continuity is easier with a live set than DJing."
Episode 016 of the Manjumasi Podcast features Vincent Casanova (@vincentcasanova). Having put out a remix and two full solo EPs with Manjumasi over the past few years, we're delighted to have Vincent back to share his DJ sensibilities. Deep, delicious minimal grooves with plenty of little details and melodic hooks to get your head bobbing.
Episode 015 of the Manjumasi Podcast comes from Ukrainian producer Silat Beksi (@silat-beksi). Silat has been a fixture on our vinyl releases, first with a remix of R. Fentz on History Ate Itself, and recently with his three-track vinyl DNA (which sold out very quickly, and has a repress coming soon). He's got a unique and sophisticated taste for minimal groove, with subtle textures and melodic elements that set his sound apart from the pack.
Episode 014 of the Manjumasi Podcast comes from Swedish producer Birds ov Paradise (@birdsovparadise), aka David Sabel. David has had a very active year with Manjumasi, first putting out a vinyl release Köpp in March, followed by an outstanding remix of Vincent Casanova's Watermelon Smash in July. We are excited to have him back for this podcast, showcasing his well-honed taste for deep, trippy rhythms and textures.

Episode 010 of the Manjumasi Podcast comes from Canadian producer extraordinaire Clarian North (@clariannorth). We were excited to welcome Clarian to the label recently, as he turned in an excellent remix of Silverfish by Vridian (@vridianmusic).
Clarian has a deep, wide-ranging electronic sound that incorporates a variety of elements. This mix is an excellent showcase of his style, featuring bits of house, techno, acid and lots in between.
Episode 009 of the Manjumasi Podcast comes from a long-time San Francisco friend and alum of the label R. Fentz (@rfentz). This is a direct recording of an all-vinyl set Zack performed recently at Public Works, setting an incredible mood for the evening and showcasing a diverse range of records he's collected.
Zack has also recently put out his second release on the label, History Ate Itself. This is a first for the label, an exclusive vinyl-only release, featuring two groovy minimal originals alongside a killer remix from @silat-beksi, available in online record shops now.
