Jay Ruka Author of (Huia Come Home) - Jay Ruka has recently published his first book (Huia Come Home), a story about learning from that which is indigenous to Aotearoa and reassessing that which is important. He’ll offer three examples of how the huia have guided his theology by reading scripture with whakapapa. Jay talks about what we can learn from comparing the physical loss of the Huia with the loss of Maori culture and language and an assessment the first missionaries to Aotearoa New Zealand and the Treaty of Waitangi
