Jesus’ first sermon was designed to help his followers redefine what a relationship with God was truly about. The blessed life can be measured by how well you display certain Christ-like qualities. Jesus knows that only those with courageous faith can endure the unique blessing of persecution.

Welcome to Manna Church online! This weekend we have the privilege of tuning in to Manna Church in Fayetteville Fort Brag for their weekend service. Please enjoy worshiping with their team, and a special message from Retired Major General Kurt Fuller.
At Manna Church we do three things: Love God, Love Each Other, and Love the World. The way we live out these values on a consistent, transformative basis is by practicing nine healthy habits. It’s time for a health check.
Water Baptism is a beautiful demonstration of the gospel, an obvious expectation for all followers of Jesus, a radical amplification of a Christian’s commitment, and a powerful sign of liberation in the life of a believer.
It’s easy to tell what you’re invested in. Just follow the trail of your calendar, your check- list, and your checking account. Stewarding your time, talent and treasure for the Kingdom of God is where life is meant to be lived. It’s time to say, “I’m In.”
Your influence isn’t about your platform as much as it’s about the people already in your life. There are oikos opportunities all around you, and God has called you to be salt and light in this needy, hurting world. You’re influential... it’s time to say, “I’m In.”
Whether you realize it or not, you are an invaluable part of the Body of Christ. There are things that we can accomplish together, that cannot happen unless you do your part. Discovering your place within a local church is where purpose is born. You’re invaluable... it’s time to say, “I’m In.”
All great relationships start with an invitation. God is inviting each and every one of us into an all-satisfying relationship with Him, yet we need to properly respond to this invitation with humility and faith. You’re invited... it’s time to say, “I’m In.”
From death to life. Three eternally connected gardens. It was the passion displayed in the midst of one that provided the world-changing power to take place in another. Yet it all pointed back to the original garden where the initial promise was spoken.
Anger is an inevitable, necessary, and even holy emotion that can fuel righteous action. Yet anger can also lead to prison-like sinful patterns that are incredibly destructive. Let’s learn to harness our anger to defend what’s good and attack what’s evil.
In order to survive as a Hangry follower of Jesus, you’ve got to learn to Feed Your Hunger for God on a consistent basis. As we unpack the final chapter of Habakkuk, we’ll look at three practical ways to do just that: Prayer, Bible Study, and Worship.
If God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and completely good, why is there evil and suffering in the world? This is one of the most practical, painful, and potentially problematic questions that every generation has asked about God. There are multiple options as answers, but only one brings hope.
Faith is for when you are frustrated. When your sight is spent, and what you see gives you no hope - that’s when faith is needed most. The Christian life is impossible without faith, and it’s still difficult with faith. Nevertheless, the righteous shall live by faith.
What do you do when you’re fed up with all the moral decline, political corruption, and media shenanigans of this world? As a Christian, how do you properly process these polarizing frustrations and confusions, while wondering if and when God will ‘get involved?’ This, in essence, is exactly what happened to a man named Habakkuk who was frustrated that the bad guys were winning while the “good” guys were weeping. He learned to live in the tension of Hangry: Hungry for God, and angry at the world.
God spoke the universe into existence, but when it comes to His prize possession of creation, He used His Hands. A work of art has value because of the signature on the work, and we are made in God’s Image. You are His masterpiece.
In this day in age, all of us have some tension around being known. Social Media, privacy, personality tests, DNA testing - they all play into our desire to be known at various levels. We all want to be known and accepted for our best, but fear being known and rejected for our worst. If God fully knows you, will you still be accepted, welcomed, celebrated and loved? The answer is YES!
It’s an amazing feeling (and reality!) to be fully known and fully loved. Whether you know it or not, believe it or not, receive it or not, you are fully known and fully loved by God. Not only that, but you are also: seen, ordained, and handmade.
Devotion to Christ is the place where the human heart is most satisfied. Disciples make space for Devotion. Consistent Devotions are the only way to maintain devotion. Devotions consist of a time and a place for Bible reading and Prayer.
Prayer should be our first response, not our last resort. A healthy prayer life begins with consecrating ourselves, wholly dedicating ourselves to be receptive to God’s will for our lives. Fasting is a great starting place for consecration to begin.
Sometimes it’s hard trust God in the silence, but His silence never equates to His absence. Persevering until there’s a breakthrough is often the point, while obeying the last directive until another is given. Welcome to the Danger Zone.
The Reach Out Celebration (ROC) is our annual opportunity to help each individual personalize the mission and vision of our call to changing the world. This year we’ll focus our outreach strategy on the refrain from Micah 6:8: Do Justice, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly.

Relationships can be complicated. In order for them to work, we need to let The One who designed them, define them. If you have a problem extending grace to people, then you know you have a problem receiving grace from God.
Relationships can be complicated. In order for them to work, we need to let The One who designed them, define them. Understanding how God parents us is the best way to become a successful parent.
Relationships can be complicated. In order for them to work, we need to let The One who designed them, define them. A Spirit-filled marriage is marked by mutual submission, sacrifice and service toward one another.
Relationships can be complicated. In order for them to work, we need to let The One who designed them, define them. If you want better friends, aim to live out what the Bible describes as being a faithful friend.
Relationships can be complicated. In order for them to work, we need to let The One who designed them, define them. This is most crucial in our relationship with God, and if we overcomplicate this relationship, it will adversely impact all others!
If we walk with The Holy Spirit we will not only overcome our sinful desires but He will produce fruit in our lives as a result to the newfound freedom we’ve discovered. This Freedom Fruit is what will change the world within us and around us.
A spiritual gift is a supernatural ability that God gives to each of His children, so that together we can advance His purposes in this world. These gifts should be discovered, developed, and properly deployed in the life of each believer in order experience the fulness of our calling.
Jesus made it clear that it when The Holy Spirit came to empower us as Christians it would be the ultimate advantage. This Pentecost Power enables us to live righteously, confidently, supernaturally, and intentionally.
What do we do when our back is against the wall and the pressure and/or pain feels overwhelming? In Psalm 143, David lays out the problem we all face, the process of overcoming, the prayers to bring to God, and the preservation the He provides.
The Bible makes it clear that a proper understanding of The Fear of the Lord is a foundational and necessary truth for the life of a Christian. Let’s eliminate the obstacles to understanding this profound truth, and receive the call and promises that follow.
Life-change is impossible without repentance. Repentance gives us access to God’s grace, and keeps our hearts pure in our pursuit of His goodness and righteousness. Don’t aim at being sinless… aim to sin less by repenting more!
The Psalms provide a healthy template for Christians to express their emotions in the safest place possible: In the Presence of a loving God, while connected to the support of a godly family.
No other book of the Bible gives us a framework for how to work through strong emotions like the Book of Psalms. Our families need fathers who can process the myriad of feelings that come up in life, and God is longing to help Dads become tender warriors.
Is it possible on this side of Heaven to live a life without lack? How about a life without fear? Not only is it possible, God gave us a game plan to get there and stay there, and it’s found in Psalm 23.
: Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future. Life begets life, and in order to be a life-giving person, you need to surround yourself with God’s Truth and God’s People.
Just as a camera system and intercoms need regular inspections to see if they are working properly, followers of Jesus require spiritual inspections to discover if they have eyes to see, ears to hear, and are connected to the proper power source.
Jesus’ cry of thirst from the cross wasn’t just based on a physical condition, but primarily a spiritual one. As Jesus was dying of thirst, He was providing a way for you and I to never thirst again, as the only source of Living Water that we truly need.
We are forgiven because Jesus was forsaken. When Jesus became our substitute on the cross, it meant that if we placed our faith in Him, we would never be condemned or abandoned for our sin, and could have an eternal relationship with God!
As Jesus was in agony on the cross, he chose to pray for the forgiveness of those who were causing His pain. For His prayer to ultimately be answered, it would mean that His enemies would have to succeed, forging a path for all who trust in Him to be His friend.
When Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, it was an unmistakable proclamation that He indeed was a King. But what kind of King was He, and what would His Kingdom be like? Those answers can be found as soon Jesus’ feet hit the ground on Palm Sunday.
God never does good work through you without doing good work in you. Your Good Work begins when you sit down to cry, kneel down to pray, and then stand up to act!
You were designed by God to show people the love of Jesus, and tell them about your relationship with Him. You are blessed to be a blessing. Outreach is the heartbeat of the church.
We are all designed by God to be in healthy relationships. Even with solid personal habits in place to keep you focused on Jesus, we still need intentional, vulnerable, grace- filled relationships with other Christians to become who God is calling us to be
We are all made to be in a loving relationship with God. Even if when we know it, we still need healthy habits to help us want it and live it. Devotion to Jesus is the place where the human heart is most satisfied.

Relationships are failing. Our current culture is shaping our thoughts and leading us down a path that will never work. But God redefines attraction, dating, intimacy, conflict, depth, and faithfulness. With God at the center, as we trust His leading, our relationships will work. And if our relationships work, everything works.
