In part 3 of Life altering moments, we talked to Erika about the real definition of success and how fixing the external without acknowledging and healing our inner self first causes our past to become our present.

"Sometimes in life, a sudden situation, a moment in time, alters your whole life, forever and changes the road ahead”
During May, we begin our series talking to women whose lives changed completely after becoming moms. Today, we had the best conversation with Karen Amaya about the fears, self doubt and lack of confidence she dealt with when she found out she was expecting a baby for the first time. This life altering moment changed her from the inside out and took her to a discovery of self acceptance, the power of asking for help and what it means to take time to embrace changes and how these changes can become huge teachers and motivators towards our dreams.
It’s okay not to be ok, especially when you are going through a life altering moment. If that’s you, we invite you to listen to this episode and the following episodes where we will be talking on how to deal with these moments and the potential it has to find healing and growth.

There are many different kinds of loss that affect people, the death of a loved one is probably the first kind of loss that comes to mind, but a loss is also experienced when relationships end in other ways, such as divorce, a move, or an illness.
The end of a job, a re-location, loss of a pregnancy etc.
We tend to ignore these kinds of losses and if our problem doesn’t feel big enough, in the gray stare of “socially acceptable”, we may try to sweep it under the rug. However, loss is a deeply personal time and it is important to truly experience each one, in order to forward in life.
Today, We sat down to talk to Savannah Garzon about unexpected losses in life and How she has been able to navigate and accept those changes.
She shared about her dad’s sudden stroke, how that changed everything for him and their family, the decisions she made to process the pain, the uncertainty and fear.
You are going to enjoy this episode and will be motivated to intentionally embrace and seek what’s on the other side of grief.
“Your loss is not a test, a lesson, something to handle, a gift, or a blessing. Loss is simply what happens to you in life. Meaning is what you make happen.”

“We run from grief because loss scare us, yet our hearts reach toward grief because the broken parts want to mend” -Brene Brown
In life we face different kinds of loss. The natural response to it, is grief. Just the word itself bring lot's of questions but not many of us are willing to ask or talk about it. On today’s episode Stephany had a great conversation with Joann Jackson about pain, life’s disappointments and dealing with loss both, emotional and physical. Joann lost her mom just a few years ago and that life altering moment has shaped her into the women she is today. You cannot miss this episode, It will encourage and motivate you to embrace the pain, not rush through it, find healing, and meaning not to move on, but to move forward. "Ignoring your emotions is turning your back on reality"
In part 2 - Stephany and her husband Alfredo sit down to share practical ways that have helped them work intentionally in their inner selves and discuss how that personal discovery has changed not only their marriage, but relationships with others.
In part 1 of 2, Stephany sat down with her husband Alfredo to talk about their differences, the rush they used to live life in and how the lifestyle of living everyday a holiday has changed them individually and as a couple. They share with us how they have learned to be present in the moment and have learned to take the time to pause and look within. Together they have learned how mindfulness and small changes in daily habits can bring not only a healthy lifestyle, but also healing in their marriage.
Welcome to our first episode of Season 2. Stephany is joined by Julianna Garzon, owner of Sobremesas FL. They sat to talk about the power of pausing and how we must make some room to breathe and pause in order to grow.
Julianna shared some of her story and how important it is to have freedom to think and permission to heal. When that happens, we get to jump into a self-discovery season that opens up a new version of us with a fresh mind & a creative heart.
