In today's episode Lisa Toohey of Doula in The Woods shares her experience as a doula and passion for postpartum support. Lisa is a doula, mother to boys and wife to her husband of 10 years. When she is not working or advocating for the birth community, she loves spending time outdoors with her family.
Today I share my experiences with two Hyperemesis Gravidarum pregnancies, my homebirth-cesarean, repeat cesarean, breastfeeding while pregnant, and tandem nursing. I moved here in 2015 and married my high school sweetheart, he recently medically retired from the Navy and we focus on our little farm full-time. I am a Certified Lactation Educator, IBCLC in training, and lover of birth, babies, and boobs! I hope you enjoy my unique homebirth-cesarean story and my healing journey!
