It took me more than 200 episodes to realize this what the show was. Why this wasn’t always the show, I’m not sure. Perhaps it was a time thing. Perhaps I thought no one would care what I would have to say about movies. But making this podcast has never been easier.
Here’s to hoping it will always be this easy.
I have been failing miserably to upload lately. A fault entirely of my own making. Or maybe I’m just saying that so you’ll give me more money
No excuse for not uploading yesterday. I don’t know what’s been up with me lately, but this has gone to the bottom of the pile. Won’t happen again, probably.

I actually did indeed record this yesterday, but it took so long to upload, that I could get it up until today. Does this mean my mission has failed? I hope not. Expect another episode before the end of the day.

I think this is a movie podcast now, because you know what, this can be whatever I want it to be.
I’ve long wondered how I could combine my vlog with my podcast. For far too long, they’ve felt like two separate entities that just don’t connect. This is that attempt, for whatever it may be worth.
Did it fail? Did it work? Let me know. Or don’t. You do you.
Has anyone ever noticed how absolutely insane Lews and Clark are? Like they literally just go around naming things and they get real lazy real quick.
I’ve decided from this point forward that this will merely be a place for me to quote things, cus lets be honest, there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. And so:

This episode is late and there is absolutely no good reason. I did, in fact, do all of the hard work of editing and recording the podcast, I just never uploaded it out of sheer mindlessness. I hope this does not count as a failure, for today grants a double feature.

I’ve recently realized that some of you may have been unable to find some of my work, due entirely to my own stupidity. My apologies to frustrated or lost listeners, I did keep my promise, it was just hard to find my work for no good reason.
If you could find it in your heart to forgive us, we’d be forever thankful.
I’ve lost everything, well, everyone, when it comes to this podcast. So perhaps a couple of bucks wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
I know, I know, yesterday was a disaster. And then, to top it all off, I lied to you. I said I’d have a double feature today, and yet, I do not. It’s funny how time seems to just slip away second after second until it disappears entirely.
I should really stop asking.
Despite the fact I have produced a new podcast episode every day for the past 243 days, my subscriber count hasn’t changed since the beginning of the year. Now I know subscriber count isn’t much of anything, but it is something. And I’d be lying if I told you it wasn’t at least a little bit demoralizing.
I’m gonna be honest I’m not even sure why I keep writing this.
Coming at you super late cus my day was just absolutely miserable. The episode is not at its usual quality, definitely a lot more pauses than usual. Plenty of time to work but no time to edit. Guess I could stay up late making this better but do I really care that much about you guys? No, probably not. No offense, just, you know, when you don’t get paid for this stuff and no one really listens its kind of hard to care all that much.
Still the same thing.
I thought maybe editing this in the afternoon would make it easier but it doesn’t really feel any easier so maybe this wasn’t a good idea in the end. I don’t know. I have to fix my wife’s tire, so that should be fun. How I will do that I literally have no idea. Why is it my job to figure these things out?
I’m not even gonna try.
I almost forgot to write something. I was enraptured by Oscar Wilde’s play An Ideal Husband and I didn’t want to waste time writing whatever this is when people like Oscar Wilde once existed in this world.
It feels like this goes without saying.
Got all kinds of nerves for no good reason. Don’t wanna stick with these kind of feels for too long at all. Hopefully soon the feels will fade away like everything else. Not in an ominous way, of course, just in a normal way.

Had to take a half-day today due to Emily’s birthday. Typical wives, making their husbands celebrate their wives birthdays. In all seriousness though, I do hope today’s episode, though not edited to the usual quality, is still somewhat substantial, even if a bit underwhelming
I don’t know how to say this, but uhhh, Patreon.
Despite my new so-called office, I’m working from home today, which I do not like at all. I now realize why the office is so valuable. Working from home is just not for me. I just don’t like it. Don’t get me wrong, I know for many that’s a big plus, but for me, I’ve always admired people with offices. Honestly, that’s the goal of this company. Of life, perhaps. Not to be a millionaire, or the president, just an office. That’s all.

It’s 3pm and I have no idea what happened to my day. Of course, I always plan to have a very productive day, but most of the time my day isn’t productive at all. I can honestly say, other than this podcast, I don’t know what I’ve done today.

I’m gonna be completely honest, I’m at the point now where I’m not even sure if the title has anything to do with the actual podcast. As for the summary? I highly doubt it. I mean, it’s not that I don’t want this show to be something important, of course I do. It’s just, by the time I get done editing this whole thing I’ve entirely forgotten what its about. And I sure as hell don’t want to listen to the whole thing. And obviously I can’t pay anyone else to do it, because, well, this makes absolutely zero dollars. So I guess I feel a little bad, sort of. But not really. I mean, maybe if this was like a career or a job or something of course I’d feel something. But its not. It’s just a really boring hobby. Now could I be playing tennis or going to the gym or doing something I actually enjoy? Sure. But I made an idiotic promise that I’d do this so I’m still doing this.
Still working on that Patreon.
Okay, so, yeah, I got a little lazy on the title today. But I mean, just think about how many titles I’ve written over the past 200 and some odd days. Not only for this but also the vlog, and my screenplay, and my short stories. I mean, I don’t mean to complain or anything, but it’s a lot of work coming up with a new title every day. And hell if I know it’s in any way original. Hell, I may have six episodes with the exact same title. It’s just a lot to ask for someone who’s not even being paid anything. Not that I’m asking for money, obviously I’m not, but a little consideration wouldn’t kill.

I’ve had a bit of a come to Jesus moment, in a certain sense. This podcast, for this reason, or that, has been failing miserably as of late. And as we all know, failure is the name of this miserable game, but I don’t know how much longer I can play it. Of course, I owe 137 episodes and that’s just what I’ll give, but I have to wonder if this is worth all that? The time, the effort, all of it. I can honestly say I’m no longer sure anymore.

So I’ve put myself into a bit of a hole. Not only is today the biggest day in the history of our production company, but I’m also traveling up to Chicago to visit family. Is that a good idea? Of course not. It’s a terrible idea. And yet, it’s exactly what’s happening. Will this ruin the company, and throw us into a perpetual state of bankrupcty? I mean, I hope not, but I guess it could.

Might have to do a twofer today, not sure if I can actually record a podcast tomorrow. But a promise is a promise, and something will happen, probably. But then again, maybe it won’t. How should I know. For all I know this is the end of the world as we know it. Although that doesn’t actually mean the end of the world, just the one we know,, which, when you think about it, is much less apocalyptic. Say, for instance, you think the world is flat and then find out, well shit, its round. That technically is the end of the world as you know it. Not that you should believe that kind of stuff. Obviously, the world is a cube.

I have this friend who writes incredibly poetry and sometimes I think, damn, I should really start doing that. But then I think, damn, that seems like a lot of work, so then I don’t. But perhaps this is a perfect place for a poem…next time.

I’m genuinely astonished that I am able to do this. Every day it seems like an impossibility, and yet, day after day, I somehow get through it. I hope the experience isn’t quite so grueling for you. If it is, I must ask, what the heck is wrong with you?

So again, I didn’t have a ton of time to put a good edit into this, so please, I beg of you, hate me. There are a million things going on and this is just one of them. However, I do hope there is some solace in the fact that I will continue to prioritize the recording of this podcast, even if the editing becomes more and more sparse. Eventually, one day, hopefully, this will become a real podcast, but I suppose that’s a bit of a catch 22. For this to be a real podcast, I have to have the resources to make it so. To have the resources to make it so, I have to have a real podcast. So unless I miracously come across a million dollars, or at the very least more time, this is how it will have to be

So I’ve been having a bit of a day, so apologies for the late upload. I actually recorded this pretty early this morning, but then I got lost in the million things that have to do during the day. Add to that the fact I had some disagreements with one of my clients, we weren’t exactly seeing eye to eye on things, and you can imagine that this wasn’t exactly at the top of my list.

Sometimes I wonder why I keep doing this. I don’t know who it’s for or why it’s for or what it’s for or even the logic behind any of this. But that’s equally true with life in general. I don’t know how any of this works or why it does, it just does. Which I suppose is probably a sign of privilage, and I’ll be the first to concede that. But I think it’s more complicated than that. I think all of this is more complicated than that. Look, I’m not a religious man by any means, I have no idea whats going on most of the time, let alone in regards to a higher power, but it just is inconceivable to me that this is all just random, that this is all just chance. Now perhaps this is the very human condition and all that but I just can’t buy it, or, at the very least, won’t.

So look, I know this podcast is late, if anyone is actually listening, but technically it still fits within the parameters, so you can’t really complain. But if you were to complain, a review would be the way to do it. Look, I probably should be way more focused on things that aren’t this and the fact that I spend so much time on this isn’t perfect. It’s not great. It’s actually kind of bad. But you all should be thankful.
