Nothing happens without God’s permission, God’s foreknowledge, and God’s will. God is in control. So how does our free will work with His foreknowledge? While God is in control, He’s not controlling. God has given us control of some things. Anxiety and worry may creep in, when there are things beyond your control. Find peace in knowing God has predestined us for a purpose and His will not return void. Your situation may not change but God will allow the situation to change you. The biblical idea of predestination has less to do with a destination and more to do with destiny. Less to do with where you’ll end up but with who you’ll be when you get there. So pick a destination and watch what God will do in you on the way to the destination.

Have you ever thought, “If only I was [ ]… THEN I can be used by God.” How might we be disqualifying ourselves from what God, in His grace, has chosen us to become?
